THE SYMBOLS OF THE CROPCIRCLES
For more than 20 years in the corn fields around the world perfectly shaped circles have emerged, sometimes forming geometrical figures and complex compositions which can be seen only from a bird's eye view. Through the internet, shots taken of them are distributed and become known amongst us.
The Bulgarian writer Mariana Vezneva , an architect, phenomenon and supersensory explorer, a correspondent-member of the International Academy of Informatization at UNO is the first and only one in the world who has managed to reveal the messages in the crop circles and to establish a connection with their creators..
The author reveals that the pictograms in the crop rings contain warnings against catastrophic occurrences following Global Warming and the dangers of self-destruction of the human race. Each consecutive crop formations are the answers to her unspoken questions about the preservation of life. Hence this circle continues every year.
The book entitled "The Eye of Omniscience", the fifth in the series "The Secret School", is in fact a manual focused on the universal sacred cosmic language of symbols and allegories. The understanding of this language and the mental connection are necessary prequel for the dialogue
between them and us. We are in need of such a dialogue so that we can survive critical situations that await us and about which the scientists raise an alarm more and more actively.

~*~ Conscious Gardening ~*~
Gardens offer us a perfect opportunity to reconnect to our true selves and remember our place in the
natural world. Rather than approach our gardens as mere investments of energy, we can look at the
entire process of gardening, from planting seeds to harvesting food, as a way of deepening our
conscious relationship with the creative force of the universe. If we are willing to shift our intention
from dominating, or at least directing nature, to co-creating with nature instead, we may discover a
deep peace and renewed sense of wonder.
To co-create we must first begin with a foundation of mutual respect. As you create your garden in
partnership with nature, you can respect the earth, water, insects and animals by using organic seeds,
soil and fertilizers. You can also communicate with the plants, insects and elements involved in your
garden, and create a regular practice of stillness to listen for any messages they may have for you.
When it comes time for harvesting fresh vegetables or picking beautiful blooms, you might even ask
permission first. If you ask with an open heart, you will always receive an answer.
Imagine what it would be like to surrender certain aspects of your human world to the precision and surety
of the natural environment. You might decide, for example, to forego your calendar and plant in rhythm with
the cycles of the moon. Or, you might choose to ignore clock time and water your garden when the sun hits
a certain position in the sky. By opening your garden experience to more of nature’s input, you can become
available to witness a whole universe of miracles, while engendering a greater sense of honor between
the two worlds.
When we recognize ourselves as allies, co-creators, with the earth and the natural world, our relationship to
our environment begins to change. We no longer feel the need to control the circumstances around us and
can relish in the perfection of all that is.

Hi everyone.
Just showing you some pics of where I live in Qld. Australia.
This stretch of the south east Qld coastline is just a small area that has some nice calm Moreton Bay waters,
which is great for pinics at the local parks and boating. This stretch above is where I walk the doggies, Ginger
and Charlie, and it's just a block away from where I live.
There are walkways all along the Bay which meet up with the many parks and takes us through some nice
greenery.........meeting many fellow walkers and bikers, and dogs also.

This is a huge pic., but shows the southern end of the Esplanade, the top picture is the walkway in the background.
A typical cottage along the waterfront, and lots of other holiday lets.
Not terribly exciting, but it's the area I walk around a lot. The locals are quite friendly and more often than not,
smile and sometimes have a chat on the many walkways.

About an hour ago I was messing with a little gizmo that I had recieved for Christmas. A pack size barometer, altimeter, thermometer, clock, flashlight and COMPASS.
I pointed myself in the direction of south (180) I was off, South was about twenty more degrees to the east than I had ascertained when we moved in here. I did the rocks around the magnolia bed with markers at the cardinal directions.
Hmmm. So, then I turned around and faced what I supposed had been north and found I was off roughly thirty degrees, also east! Scratched my head some, did it again. Questioned my sanity, remembered that was a dead end, then off to find the wife.
Yep same thing. We had north and south poles about 130 degrees apart on the east side.
IN what may be an unrelated matter, I also looked at "my graphs" and noted an extremely quiet magnetic field.
So, sensitives, channelers, lightworkers, keep your antennae up. Observe.
IN another potentially unrelated fashion, the Artis solar IMG site is off in protest of CISPA (the latest internet choking law that is on the way to the senate).

What was the purpose of Earth Day? How did it start?
These are the questions I am most frequently asked.
Actually, the idea for Earth Day evolved over a period of seven years starting in 1962. For several years, it had
been troubling me that the state of our environment was simply a non-issue in the politics of the country.
Finally, in November 1962, an idea occurred to me that was, I thought, a virtual cinch to put the environment into
the political "limelight" once and for all. The idea was to persuade President Kennedy to give visibility to this issue
by going on a national conservation tour. I flew to Washington to discuss the proposal with Attorney General
Robert Kennedy, who liked the idea. So did the President. The President began his five-day, eleven-state
conservation tour in September 1963. For many reasons the tour did not succeed in putting the issue onto the
national political agenda. However, it was the germ of the idea that ultimately flowered into Earth Day.
I continued to speak on environmental issues to a variety of audiences in some twenty-five states. All across the country,
evidence of environmental degradation was appearing everywhere, and everyone noticed except the political establishment.
The environmental issue simply was not to be found on the nation's political agenda. The people were concerned, but the
politicians were not.
After President Kennedy's tour, I still hoped for some idea that would thrust the environment into the political mainstream.
Six years would pass before the idea that became Earth Day occurred to me while on a conservation speaking tour out
West in the summer of 1969. At the time, anti-Vietnam War demonstrations, called "teach-ins," had spread to college
campuses all across the nation. Suddenly, the idea occurred to me - why not organize a huge grassroots protest over what
was happening to our environment?
I was satisfied that if we could tap into the environmental concerns of the general public and infuse the student anti-war
energy into the environmental cause, we could generate a demonstration that would force this issue onto the political
agenda. It was a big gamble, but worth a try.
At a conference in Seattle in September 1969, I announced that in the spring of 1970 there would be a nationwide
grassroots demonstration on behalf of the environment and invited everyone to participate. The wire services carried the
story from coast to coast. The response was electric. It took off like gangbusters. Telegrams, letters, and telephone
inquiries poured in from all across the country. The American people finally had a forum to express its concern about
what was happening to the land, rivers, lakes, and air - and they did so with spectacular exuberance.
For the next four months, two members of my Senate staff, Linda Billings and John Heritage, managed Earth Day affairs
out of my Senate office.
Five months before Earth Day, on Sunday, November 30, 1969, The New York Times carried a lengthy article by Gladwin Hill
reporting on the astonishing proliferation of environmental events:
"Rising concern about the environmental crisis is sweeping the nation's campuses with an intensity that may be on its way
to eclipsing student discontent over the war in Vietnam...a national day of observance of environmental problems...
is being planned for next spring... when a nationwide environmental 'teach-in'...coordinated from the office of
Senator Gaylord Nelson is planned...."
It was obvious that we were headed for a spectacular success on Earth Day. It was also obvious that grassroots activities
had ballooned beyond the capacity of my U.S. Senate office staff to keep up with the telephone calls, paper work, inquiries,
etc. In mid-January, three months before Earth Day, John Gardner, Founder of Common Cause, provided temporary space
for a Washington, D.C. headquarters. I staffed the office with college students and selected Denis Hayes as coordinator
of activities.
Earth Day worked because of the spontaneous response at the grassroots level. We had neither the time nor resources to
organize 20 million demonstrators and the thousands of schools and local communities that participated.
That was the remarkable thing about Earth Day. It organized itself.

Every Creature is Deserving of Respect and Appreciation

There are numerous messages regarding the blessing and care of yourselves, those around you and your many brothers and sisters across the globe. They are all needed to educate, uplift and inspire each of you wherever you are sitting right now on your journey. Today precious ones we speak of the animals, the pets in your life and the creatures that live inside the forests and neighbourhood parks.
Every creature, even the insects that sting and cause distress are created by God, and each one has a purpose and believe it or not that purpose is not to irritate you even though many times it seems the case. The smallest of insect to the largest of beast all deserve respect and appreciation. There are many animal species each year that reach the threat of extinction and most of it is because of the great expansion into their homelands. As the forests get smaller because population increases, it is important to provide healing and support to the many animals that live in those regions that are being forced to move on into higher ground or not exist at all. It is well understood not everyone is able to become a member to certain helpful organizations. What I do see is that everyone on the globe is able to contribute a small portion of help, even if it’s helping to keep a park clean from litter, encouraging young children or anyone not to put their candy or gum on the ground, leave out dog hair or long hair to aid the birds to building a nest. There are many creative ways that you can help. The environment that surrounds you requires tender loving care from each of you. If you insist to have a clean and well maintained home, then equally insist to help where you live to maintain Mother Earth.
The furry, scaly and sometimes feathery friends many dear people take as pets fill your hearts with the unmistakable purest form of love – unconditional love. Pets do not require being pedigree or having special papers to prove authenticity; their only need is love, and they return that love many times over the period of their living lives. Even as pet owners, especially if you consider these animals members of your family, it is utmost important to treat them with the respect they deserve. Just as the wee babes you have given birth to, they do not know good or bad, they only know the warmth and comfort their mother brings them and that warmth extends to you who chooses to bring them home and into your life. Pets of many kinds have been proven to increase health and vigor in the aging population and helps boost morale in children hospitals where children have cancer or other difficult and possible terminal illnesses.
There is never any reason to mistreat any animal. Even those that are brought specifically to farm, breed or help on the land. Respect and Appreciation is essential. There are many farmers that still rely on good sturdy animals for hauling and they take great pride in looking after them with proper medical attention when it’s needed. A pet is no different and neither is an animal that has had to give up its home in order to make room for the ever-expanding population of the human race.
It is a crying shame when we see animals of any kind being hunted for pure sport, being treated cruelly, or purposely harmed. There are many animal advocates across the globe that helps bring medical aid to the creatures that have been harmed by thoughtlessness. Love is being shared to those that are causing the harm. Some precious ones come from a long line of mental disturbances and the animals end up suffering as a result. All people, even the ones that cause harm to any creature of God deserves healing, love and light. They are responsible for their actions and the Law of Cause and Effect does come into play. Sometimes Karma does takes its time, just like nature everything must have balance.
Allowing yourselves to become fuelled by rage over the news lines of animal cruelty will not solve the crime dear ones and it does not help the animal that has been hurt. What needs to be done is more people being informed on what they can do to help and to take care of your local environment. Every small step of helpful action is beneficial precious ones. Become active and involved as much as you can.
I know many may think they are not responsible for another person’s mess when they walk by cups or cans laying on park’s path. It doesn’t hurt anything to use a tissue or napkin to pick up the trash and put it in its proper place. You know in your heart you are doing something right to correct something that was done in error. Always move with love and light from your heart precious ones, let love guide you through your actions.
The birds are happily chirping in our background today as some seed has been left out, it is music to my ears. My love for each of you and for every creature that lives across this planet is filled to overflowing precious ones.

The chemical reaction, called bioluminescence, occurs when a micro-organism in sea water is disturbed by oxygen
It may look like an alien life-form has washed up on a beach, but this striking neon blue effect is a completely natural phenomenon.
The incredible image was taken by photographer Doug Perrine during a visit to Vaadhoo, one of the Raa Atoll islands in the Maldives.
It captures a natural chemical reaction called bioluminescence, which occurs when a micro-organism in the water is disturbed by oxygen.

The reaction is similar to the ‘glow’ that fireflies use to attract prey or mates.
Although a rare sight on a shoreline, the phenomenon is more commonly seen at sea in the wake of ships that stir up the oxygen in the sea, which causes the bioluminescent bacteria to glow.
Many undersea organisms ‘glow’, especially creatures that live at depths where light from the surface is less likely to penetrate.
The night-time glow is a side-effect of blooming red algae, known as red tide, which can turn entire beaches scarlet and murky during the day.
Inspiration? The bioluminescence looks similar to the strange blue alien world of the 2009 blockbuster Avatar
The smell of decay, caused by rotting kelp, plankton and fish often accompanies the event as the red algae starves the water of oxygen and light.
By night, there is an increase in microscopic plankton called dynoflagellates, which glow in the dark when disturbed by currents or waves.

Dwarf Galaxies Help to Unlock Secrets of Dark Matter

ATLANTA — While scientists still don't know what makes up the mysterious dark matter thought to dominate the universe, a new study of dwarf galaxies orbiting the Milky Way presented here Sunday (April 1) at the American Physical Society has chipped away at the possibilities, offering intriguing hints about the nature of dark matter.
Dark matter is the name given to whatever makes up roughly 80 percent of the mass in the universe, holding galaxies together and exerting its gravitational force on regular matter. Yet dark matter is also invisible and, so far, impossible to directly detect.
One way astronomers aim to study the elusive stuff is by looking at its effects on observable things.
For example, one theory suggests that dark matter is made of exotic particles called WIMPS (weakly interacting massive particles). Sometimes, these particles should encounter their antimatter partner particles, anti-WIMPS, and the two should annihilate each other as matter and antimatter always do.
This annihilation would produce radiation in the form of high-energy gamma-rays that telescopes should be able to observe.
The recent study used NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope to search for these gamma-rays in the small dwarf spheroidal galaxies that orbit the Milky Way.
"Dwarf spheroidals are some of the most dark matter-dominated objects in the universe, and these objects are not expected to be emitting gamma-rays from anything other than dark matter," astrophysicist Jennifer Siegal-Gaskins of Caltech said here Sunday (April 1) at the meeting. "This means they're very clean targets for gamma-ray signals from dark matter." [Gallery: Dark Matter in the Universe]

Siegal-Gaskins and her colleagues analyzed 12 of these mini galaxies orbiting the Milky Way, and found basically no gamma-rays.
The result means that if dark matter is made of WIMPS, the particles don't annihilate with their antimatter counterparts very often. That reduces the varieties of WIMPS that could explain dark matter.
"For the first time, we're now starting to prove the combinations of particle parameters that are favored by cosmology," Siegal-Gaskins said. "We're really starting to probe the really interesting theoretical models of dark matter."
One property of microscopic particles is called cross section, which can be thought of as the area of the particle, predicting how often it will collide with other particles. Fermi's lack of gamma-ray sightings in the dwarf galaxies means that if dark matter is made of WIMPS, they can't have some of the cross-section values that conventional models have predicted.
The researchers hope that continued observations of more of the Milky Way's dwarf galaxies could help eliminate further possibilities for dark matter, helping to corner the elusive particles.
"This study is based on two years of data," Siegal-Gaskins said. "In the next few years, it's quite possible that more dwarf spheroidal galaxies of the Milky Way will be discovered. We have the potential to push that limit even lower. I think we have a lot of exciting prospects."

Eating colorful fruits and veggies is great—but only half the story. There's surprising evidence that our mental and physical health depends on growing them ourselves.

Consider the earthy pleasures of gardening. You're outdoors. The sun warms your muscles. You're doing something both productive and edifying. And the activity places you back into the natural world, where exercise and relaxation are organically linked.
Edible gardening is better still; even the smallest of backyard or container gardens can put a surprising amount of food on your table in ways that make great nutritional and economic sense. Not to mention the juicy satisfaction of plucking that robust tomato or those tart raspberries.
But there is an even bigger yield. Call it soil-borne wellness, and here is where science is plowing totally new ground. Researchers are discovering that growing your own food—however much or little you can do—is better for your health than anyone ever suspected. And the nutritional value of what you harvest is almost the least of it. Growing your own food by messing around in your own garden proves to be nature's fruitful way of cultivating your health—physically and psychologically.
The soil is a rich repository of microbes and other organisms with which we've coexisted from the beginning. As science digs deeper into understanding the effects of bacteria on human health, and especially on the immune system, it looks increasingly like ingesting components of the soil itself might be as critical to human health as the very finest fruits and veggies grown in it.
In 2007, University of Colorado neuroscientist Christopher Lowry, then working at Bristol University in England, made a startling discovery. He found that certain strains of soil-borne mycobacteria sharply stimulated the human immune system. The very same bacteria also boosted serotonin levels in the brains of mice.
Mycobacteria are a broad genus of durable and waxy bugs that include many harmless critters and a few nasty pathogens, like M. leprae and M. tuberculosis. Lowry's group focused on the immune response toMycobacterium vaccae, a benign strain ubiquitous in soil. It is most abundant in peat bogs and other earth rich in moist organic matter.
M. vaccae thrives in typical backyard garden environments or anywhere soil is enriched with organic matter. You—yes, you—are exposed to it through inhalation and ingestion of small particles any time you dig outside or eat lettuce plucked from your garden. And that's a good thing.
M. vaccae triggers a complex cascade of neurosignaling, says Lowry, who is trying to decipher the exact mechanism. But in the process, the bacteria stimulate immune cells to raise the threshold for inflammatory processes. Mycobacteria also interact with the nervous system to rev up production of serotonin.
Lowry is now conducting oral trials of the bacteria in mice to mimic our own exposure to mycobacteria. "At the moment, mycobacteria is a black box"—but in its effect it is "basically no different from all the SSRIs."
It's known that the SSRI antidepressants such as Prozac inhibit the reuptake of serotonin, increasing its availability to receptors. But exactly how these drugs work against depression, and their many undesirable effects on the body, are poorly understood. Many scientists regard the SSRIs as particularly blunt instruments for treating mood disorders.
By contrast, Lowry finds, mycobacteria "are very selective and specific." They excite small subsets of serotonin-releasing neurons and pathways in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus, where they directly impact cognition and mood regulation. Exposure cleanly increases the ability of test animals to cope effectively with stress and anxiety.
The possibility that mycobacteria might have anything to do with mood arose serendipitously in earlier clinical studies of the bacteria as a treatment for cancer and inflammatory disorders. Researchers observed a boost in the quality of life of their human subjects.
Collectively this work has yielded "the hygiene hypothesis." Accumulating evidence suggests that lack of exposure to M. vaccae and other common dirt-borne pathogens early in life—resulting from deliberate attempts to sanitize our environments—might explain the sharp rise in chronic inflammatory, allergic, and immune disorders (such as asthma and inflammatory bowel disease) in the industrialized world.
The hygiene hypothesis suggests that there are real costs to displacement from the natural world. It disrupts a deep and direct connection we have to the soil and its resident organisms, a connection that our own immune and nervous systems have relied on for well-being all along.
Getting out in the garden plants us back in what now appears to be our optimal habitat. Eating fruits and vegetables—even antioxidant-rich tomatoes, melons, beets, cabbage, and berries—turns out to be only half of a newly evolving story of health. Our bodies and brains depend on the whole experience of growing our own. Our mental and physical health seem to be deeply rooted in the dirt. —Daniel A. Marano
Know What To Grow
Growing one's own fruit or vegetables can be done with surprising ease and efficiency and little space, not much more than a sunny slab of concrete.
What to plant. Late summer/early fall is the preferred time for cool-season seed crops like lettuces, Asian greens, beets, radishes, spinach, and many peas. Most fruit-bearing trees, berries, shrubs, and vines prefer a fall planting, too. Find local growers and nurseries that stock native and acclimated varieties. Don't ignore the mother of all fall-planted root crops, garlic.

Hot pots. Container gardening has never been more popular, with everything from self-feeding planters to soil-less growing of lettuces, tomatoes, herbs, and more (see gardeners.com, gurneys.com, or smithandhawken.com). Soil is crucial, regardless of location: Use well-composted fertile soil, rich in organic matter, slow-releasing nutrients, and mycobacteria, as most store-bought peat and potting mixes have been sterilized. Nothing beats finished backyard compost.

Maven havens. Discussion and regional forums at gardenweb.com can connect you with expertise and regional info about plants. Talk to your neighbors and local gardeners and growers. Seek counsel, too, from the slow food movement (slowfoodusa.org), guerrilla gardeners (guerrillagardening.org), and those advocating reclamation of our eating and living spaces (edibleestates.org).

* This project is based in the city which I live. I have already begun growing by seed purple beens (they cook up green) and three varieties of tomatoes, plus some fun gourds for my daughter. I grow all my own ceremonial herbs also and this year I am growing my own chamomile. I used to have quite an extensive herb and backyard vegetable garden with my daughter's father. But small is okay. We are still doing something that is healthy for us, the environment and we are saving a little money and if we do grow any surplus the food banks are not too far away to walk to for us to share with.

Nature Gave Us Four Kinds of Happiness
Does a dip in happy neurochemicals mean something is wrong?

Happiness is just a neurochemical spurt. Different happy chemicals produce different ways to experience happiness.
Endorphin happiness is triggered by physical pain. The body's natural morphine masks pain, which allowed our ancestors to run from predators when injured. Humans experience endorphin as euphoria, but it obviously did not evolve to trigger a constant feeling of joy. You would touch hot stoves and run on a broken leg if your brain were always releasing endorphins. Nature saves them for moments when they help you do what's necessary to survive.
Dopamine happiness is triggered when you get a new reward. When you see a finish line, your brain releases dopamine. It's nature's reserve tank of energy. Dopamine keeps you going until you catch the prey you've been stalking, even when the chase is long and frustrating. If you surged with dopamine all the time, your energy would be depleted when you really needed it. We evolved to save dopamine for those moments when an important goal is within reach.
Oxytocin happiness is triggered when we trust those around us. It promotes bonding between mother and child, and between sex partners. It's stimulated when you're with a group of like-minded people, or when you get a massage. But we did not evolved to feel oxytocin happiness all the time because there's no survival value in trusting people who are not trustworthy.
Serotonin happiness is triggered when you feel important. Animals release serotonin when they dominate a resource. Their serotonin falls when they cede a resource to avoid conflict. Being one-up feels good, but conflict can cause painful injuries. The brain is constantly analyzing information to balance the risk of pain against the satisfaction of winning.
Each of the happy chemicals evolved to do a job. They work by making you feel good, which motivates you to go after whatever triggered them. You have inherited a brain that motivates you to go toward anything that promotes the survival of your DNA.
Sometimes you stumble on happiness. When an ape accidentally stumbles on a luscious fruit tree, its brain surges with dopamine. That creates memory, which helps the ape find the tree in the future. New rewards trigger dopamine whether the rewards came by accident or with sustained effort.
The happy chemicals feel so good that we use our big cortex to figure out how to get more. Apes negotiate groomings with each other, and it stimulates their oxytocin. Apes dominate their troop-mates when they think they can get away with it, which stimulates their serotonin. Apes invest time teasing termites out of a mound, and it stimulates their dopamine. Apes are not known to hurt themselves in order to get an endorphin high. People do all kinds of things once they find that it stimulates their endorphins, or their dopamine, or their oxytocin, or their serotonin.
Sometimes it works.
But the brain only releases happy chemicals in limited bursts for specific aims. It did not evolve to release them all the time. If happy chemicals flowed all the time, they could not do their jobs.
When your happy chemicals dip, however, you notice. Something feels wrong.
Nothing is wrong. Your happy chemicals evolved to ebb and flow. But if you attend to this feeling that something is wrong, it can preoccupy you. Your cortex will scan the environment for evidence that something is, in fact, wrong. And it will find evidence to confirm that feeling.
If you expect all the happy chemicals all the time, you're going to be disappointed. And if you focus on that disappointment, you wire your brain to see the world through that lens.
Try as you might, you can't control your environment in a way that ensures a steady flow of happy chemicals.
You could instead accept the fact that happy chemicals evolved to promote survival behaviors, and just appreciate them as they come and go.

The Surprising Power Of A Solar Storm

Solar storm dumps gigawatts into Earth’s upper atmosphere
A recent flurry of eruptions on the sun did more than spark pretty auroras around the poles. NASA-funded researchers say the solar storms of March 8th through 10th dumped enough energy in Earth’s upper atmosphere to power every residence in New York City for two years.
“This was the biggest dose of heat we’ve received from a solar storm since 2005,” says Martin Mlynczak of NASA Langley Research Center. “It was a big event, and shows how solar activity can directly affect our planet.”
Mlynczak is the associate principal investigator for the SABER instrument onboard NASA’s TIMED satellite. SABER monitors infrared emissions from Earth’s upper atmosphere, in particular from carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), two substances that play a key role in the energy balance of air hundreds of km above our planet’s surface.
“Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats,” explains James Russell of Hampton University, SABER’s principal investigator. “When the upper atmosphere (or ‘thermosphere’) heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to shed that heat back into space.”
That’s what happened on March 8th when a coronal mass ejection (CME) propelled in our direction by an X5-class solar flare hit Earth’s magnetic field. (On the “Richter Scale of Solar Flares,” X-class flares are the most powerful kind.) Energetic particles rained down on the upper atmosphere, depositing their energy where they hit. The action produced spectacular auroras around the poles and significant1 upper atmospheric heating all around the globe.
“The thermosphere lit up like a Christmas tree,” says Russell. “It began to glow intensely at infrared wavelengths as the thermostat effect kicked in.”
For the three day period, March 8th through 10th, the thermosphere absorbed 26 billion kWh of energy. Infrared radiation from CO2 and NO, the two most efficient coolants in the thermosphere, re-radiated 95% of that total back into space.
In human terms, this is a lot of energy. According to the New York City mayor’s office, an average NY household consumes just under 4700 kWh annually. This means the geomagnetic storm dumped enough energy into the atmosphere to power every home in the Big Apple for two years.
“Unfortunately, there’s no practical way to harness this kind of energy,” says Mlynczak. “It’s so diffuse and out of reach high above Earth’s surface. Plus, the majority of it has been sent back into space by the action of CO2 and NO.”
During the heating impulse, the thermosphere puffed up like a marshmallow held over a campfire, temporarily increasing the drag on low-orbiting satellites. This is both good and bad. On the one hand, extra drag helps clear space junk out of Earth orbit. On the other hand, it decreases the lifetime of useful satellites by bringing them closer to the day of re-entry.
The storm is over now, but Russell and Mlynczak expect more to come.
“We’re just emerging from a deep solar minimum,” says Russell. “The solar cycle is gaining strength with a maximum expected in 2013.”
More sunspots flinging more CMEs toward Earth adds up to more opportunities for SABER to study the heating effect of solar storms.
“This is a new frontier in the sun-Earth connection,” says Mlynczak, and the data we’re collecting are unprecedented.”

Researchers have successfully taking a first step towards building biodegradable display screens for electronic devices.
Tel Aviv University researchers have created protein-based transistors from organic materials found in the human body.
They used blood, milk and mucus proteins to help take the first step in making silicon an outdated formula to build semi-conductors.
The TAU researchers said when they applied the organic materials to any base material, the molecules self-assembled to create a semi-conducting film on a nano-scale.
The three different kinds of proteins can create a complete circuit with electronic and optical capabilities.
Ph.D. student Elad Mentovich said the blood protein has the ability to absorb oxygen, which permits the “doping” of semi-conductors with specific chemicals in order to create specific technological properties.
The milk proteins form the fibers which are the building blocks of the transistors, while the muscosal proteins keep red, green, and blue fluorescent dyes separate, creating the white light emission that is necessary for optics.
The natural abilities of each protein allowed the researchers to have “unique control” over the organic transistor, allowing adjustments for conductivity, memory storage, and fluorescence.
Mentovich said technology is shifting from a silicon era to a carbon era, and this new type of transistor could help play an important role.
Transistors built from these proteins could be ideal for devices that need to be flexible, whether it be screens, cell phones or tablets.
Because the researchers are using natural proteins to build their transistors, the products they create will be biodegradable.
Their research, which has appeared in the journals Nano Letters and Advanced Materials, recently received a silver award at the Materials Research Society Graduate Student Awards in Boston, MA.

What we are asking, however, is that for those of you who feel your connection to us to band together, so to speak, in order to establish and implement certain 'activities' towards the goals which have been set before us. You have shown that you can do this numerous times, such as in the planting of the crystals and the activation of the grid. This was an excellent example of the Unity we wish for you to achieve, and our heartfelt thanks go to all of you who have participated in this project. Rest assured there will be other projects we will ask you to work on. For the time being, we are asking you to continue in this Unity, and stay focused on the tasks at hand.

What, then, drove the economic engine that led to the unimaginable slaughter of blue whales in the Antarctic? The answer is that hundreds of thousands of these animals died so they could be turned into margarine and soap.
It was a sad irony that as humans were blasting blue whales with grenade harpoons in the Antarctic, a by-product of those same animals was blowing up soldiers on the battlefields of Europe. As Richard Ellis puts it, the whales "gave up their lives so that humans might die."
In the 1929-30 season, whalers killed more than 19,000 blues, as many as all other species combined. The following season saw the record catch of any single species: 29,409 blues, representing 80 percent of the worldwide harvest of whales. Perhaps another 10 percent were struck and killed, but not recovered, meaning that the death toll was more like 32,000.
It is a tragic irony that it took a war involving nations from six continents to halt the slaughter that was taking place off the seventh.
What is harder to figure out is why the whaling companies continued to pursue blue whales well into the 1960s, despite the obvious fact that the species was headed toward oblivion.

It is impossible to overstate the futility of conservation measures in the 1930s. Some of the regulations were absurd--the selective ban on pelagic whaling, for example, was like making it illegal for Americans to pick pineapples except in Hawaii.
Can there be a greater act of stupidity than setting a quota so high that there were not enough whales alive to meet it?
At the IWC's 1964 meeting, the Norwegians reported that they had seen just eight blue whales the previous season, of which they had killed four.
In what must surely be the most belated conservation measure ever enacted, the nations of the IWC agreed in 1965 to a complete ban on killing an animal they had already ushered into oblivion.
Between 1947 and 1972, Soviet whalers in the southern hemisphere illegally killed a staggering 43,000 humpbacks, 21,600 sperm whales and at least 9,200 blues.
"Nobody liked to see the whale suffer. It wasn't nice to see the killer harpoon go in and watch the body shudder when the grenade exploded inside. When you got one that was shot badly, then everyone did their utmost to bring about its demise as quickly as possible. But there was comfort on the other side--this was your bread and butter. This is what you had come for, to make your money on, so you had to get them."
"How few people realize the despairing fight it puts up before dying of convulsions with an explosive shrapnel grenade tearing at its vitals. It has to be seen to be believed."
And yet, in the words of whale biologist Steven Katona, "perhaps more than any single animal, the blue whale stimulated the resurgence of public interest in ecology." How did the enigmatic and almost invisible blue whale capture so many human hearts?
One of the more remarkable scenarios has been the disappearance of blue whales from Mingan, the very place where Sears first encountered the species in the 1970's. They were regulars there until the early 1990s, when they vanished "as if aliens came and beamed them up." Some of the animals that had been identified in that area have never been seen since.
There was also the question of why blue whales off California had suddenly become so common. "Our data do not show any increasing trend, at least for the little-over-10-year period that we've been making these estimates. So even though we have this large and very healthy population, at this point we're not sure that it's growing--it may be a stable population. There are still more blue whales than anyone thought existed in the North Pacific, so it's good news, but we have to be cautious.The only remaining explanation was that the California animals must have come from somewhere else.

One of the most simple and elegant of these food chains is the one that goes phytoplankton to krill to blue whale. As biologist and author Douglas Chadwick puts it, "It means that the blues are only a couple of steps removed from dining directly on sunlight."
For a 75-foot blue, a mile is just 70 body lengths, and a hundred miles is an easy day's jaunt. "Their spatial scale is so far beyond ours, that it's difficult for us to consider what distance means to them," Croll says
So, some of my questions & comments about this are:
*Since we, as lightworkers, know that whales are spiritual beings who are here to help us evolve, is it possible that they are fully conscious of what is going on with whaling & are participating willingly in order to help facilitate humanity's awakening?
*Could it be that the population of blue whales has fluctuated around the world for reasons beyond whaling? The disappearance of the Mingan population & the appearance of the California population are, as yet, unexplained by scientists. I thought it was interesting that this author even comments about how it seemed that aliens came & beamed the whales up. :)
*Given what we believe about whales being the Akashic record holders & activators of the earth grids, does it not make sense that their spatial scale is beyond human's perception? Their voices carry hundreds of miles. Think about that.

Numerous myths are told in Africa about its biggest animal, the elephant, whose very size makes it unassailable in nature, except by man, who has weapons and magic to kill it. In the African fables the elephant is always the wise chief who impartially settles disputes among the forest creatures. A hunter in Chad found an elephant skin near Lake Chad and hid it. Soon he saw a lovely big girl crying, because she had lost her good 'clothes'. The hunter promised her new clothes and married her. They had many big children, for the son of an elephant cannot be a dwarf. One bad day when the grainstore was empty, his wife found the elephant skin at the bottom, where the hunter had hidden it. She put it on and went back to the bush to live as an elephant again. Her sons became the ancestors of the clan whose totem was the elephant. They do not have to fear elephants.
A myth of the Kamba in Kenya tells us how elephants originated. A very poor man heard of lvonya-Ngia, 'He that feeds the Poor'. He decided to go and find Ivonya-Ngia but it was a long journey. When he finally arrived, he saw uncounted cattle and sheep, and there, amidst green pastures, was the mansion of Ivonya-Ngia, who received the poor man kindly, perceived his need and ordered his men to give him a hundred sheep and a hundred cows. 'No', said the poor man, 'I want no charity, I want the secret of how to become rich.' Ivonya-Ngia reflected for a while, then took a flask of ointment and gave it to the poor man, saying: 'Rub this on your wife's pointed teeth in her upper jaw, wait until they have grown, then sell them.' The poor man carried out the strange instructions, promising his wife that they would become very rich. After some weeks, the canine teeth began to grow and when they had grown into tusks as long as his arm the man persuaded his wife to let him pull them out. He took them to the market and sold them for a flock of goats. After a few weeks the wife's canine teeth had grown again, becoming even longer than the previous pair, but she would not let her husband touch them. Not only her teeth, but her whole body became bigger and heavier, her skin thick and grey. At last she burst out of the door and walked into the forest, where she lived from then on. She gave birth to her son there, who was also an elephant. From time to time her husband visited her in the forest, but she would not be persuaded to come back, although she did have more healthy children, all elephants. It was the origin of elephants and it explains why elephants are as intelligent as people.
In Southern Africa there is told the tale of the girl who grew up so tall and fat that no man wanted her as a wife because she was accused of witchcraft. She was exiled from her village and wandered into the wilderness on her own. There she met an elephant who began speaking to her politely in good Zulu. She agreed to stay with him and he helped her to find wild cucumbers and other fruits of the forest. She gave birth to four human sons, all very tall and strong, who became the ancestors of the Indhlovu clan of paramount chiefs.
In the African fables, the elephant is usually described as too kind and noble, so that he feels pity even for a wicked character and is badly deceived. The Wachaga in Tanzania relate that the elephant was once a human being but was cheated out of all his limbs except his right arm, which now serves as his trunk. He paid for nobility!
The Ashanti of Ghana relate that an elephant is a human chief from the past. When they find a dead elephant in the forest, they give him a proper chief's burial.

Researchers Discover Ancient Tulip-like Creature In The Canadian Rockies

A strange tulip-shaped creature discovered in half-a-billion-year-old rocks had a feeding system unlike any other animal, researchers reported this week.
Officially named Siphusauctum gregarium, the fossils, unearthed from the Middle Cambrian Burgess Shale in the Canadian Rockies, reveal a peculiar creature roughly 7-8 inches long with a unique filter feeding system.
The creature has a long stem with a bulbous cup-like structure — similar to that of a tulip — near the top that encloses the filter feeding system and a gut. Researchers believe the animal fed by filtering particles from water actively pumped into its calyx through small holes. The stem ends with a small disc which anchored the animal to the seafloor. The research team also believe the animal lived in large clusters, due to slab samples showing as many as 65 individual fossils in one group.
“Most interesting is that this feeding system appears to be unique among animals,” study researcher Lorna O’Brien, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Toronto, told LiveScience in a statement.
“Recent advances have linked many bizarre Burgess Shale animals as primitive members of many animal groups that are found today, but Siphusauctum defies this trend. We do not know where it fits in relation to other organisms,” she said.
“Our description is based on more than 1,100 fossil specimens from a new Burgess Shale locality that has been nicknamed the Tulip Beds,” O’Brien added.
The Tulip Beds — located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia — were first discovered in 1983 by the Royal Ontario Museum. They are found high up on Mount Stephen, overlooking the town of Field. The beds represent rock layers with exceptional preservation of mostly soft-bodied organisms.
The Burgess Shale is protected under the larger Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage site and is managed by Parks Canada. It preserves fossil evidence of some of the earliest complex animals that lived in the oceans of our planet 500 million years ago.
The research was partially funded by University of Toronto fellowships to O’Brien and a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Discovery Grant awarded to professor Jean-Bernard Caron, curator of invertebrate paleontology at the Royal Ontario Museum, coauthor of the study.
The study findings were published Monday (Jan. 18) in the online science journal PLoS ONE.

The Gift of Solar Flares

Spending time in the sun always lifts our spirits, makes us feel alive, energised and positive. Well that golden orb in the sky is also assisting us to transition into a new vibration along with the earth.
The solar flare reports from NASA and other scientific research facilities have become quite regular and more information is being released to the public in regard to the ‘effects’ that these ‘eruptions’ on the sun’s surface have on life here on earth.
Solar flares are simply huge explosions of built up gases and magnetic forces on the sun’s surface. They travel through space, and if they explode in earth’s direction, the electromagnetic field of earth is impacted, as is the earth and all living creatures. The biological and neurological system of life are shaken up with these bursts of highly charged energy.
This excerpts from a fabulous article written in 2010 by Steve Beckkow, will give you the heads up as to what to expect, how to deal with it and how to look after yourself. Treat these solar flares as gifts from the universe as we all shift and align to the new vibration of life.
How Do Solar Flares Affect Us?
A recent study in the New Scientist magazine indicates a direct connection between the Sun’s solar storms and the human biological system. The conduit which steers Earth’s weather through the Magnetic Field on Earth is the same conduit that facilitates the influx of charged particles from the Sun through the magnetic (auric) field around the human body.
The increase in the frequency and amplitude of geomagnetic sun storms is causing large-scale planetary changes which include earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tornadoes, and windstorms. There is also indication of human disturbance as result of the solar activity.
Geomagnetic Activity Influences Human Consciousness
Solar activity is known to influence human consciousness. Solar flares affect the Central Nervous System, all brain activity (including equilibrium), human behavior patterns, and all of our psycho-physiological (mental/emotional/physical) responses.
Symptomatically, solar flares can cause us to feel nervous, anxious, worried, jittery, dizzy, irritable, lethargic, exhausted, nauseous, and queasy. The increased frequency and intensity of solar flares is helping to break apart old patterns that are no longer needed so that new patterns can emerge. This is a dynamic and inevitable process of change that has caused many people to feel agitated and uncertain in recent months. Solar flares have also wreaked havoc on technological instruments such as computers.
As the increase in solar activity persists, new symptoms are emerging. Dimensions of time and space are beginning to ‘wobble’ erratically. Some people seem to be losing track of time, and/or they are losing words when speaking. For others, the day seems to simply disappear.

This Shift of the Ages is already happening, and I don’t think it has anything to do with the Doomsday prophecies that fill “you tube” and the mainstream media. I don’t believe either one is a sure thing; we are creating all of it. There is no one who knows what the future holds. We are deciding our future right now.
This is a dream that we are mutually having. It is not bigger than us. We are the dream. The dream is ours. Currently there are many different versions of what it looks like.
Our power exists in Oneness. We can dream anything. We are already shifting. We are coming from Love.
I would like to dream something different (regarding Mother Earth) than what is out there now. How about a planet without catastrophe?
If we join as one, united in intention, I believe we can create a new future. This is a future we have not seen. It is one we will create. It is one where the celestial changes don’t devastate this earth.
I believe this is a dream and anything is possible. There are those who want to keep us separated by instilling fear and polarity thinking. It is just as probable nothing will happen, and there is no reason to fear.
There are not enough powerful voices out there telling us to stick together, love each other, get in each others space and unite. We do not believe we have the power to effect this big a change, but in truth, we are doing so right now.
We are changing from polarity to unity. We are 7 billion strong. If we send out some ripples of thought that our earth is fine and it spreads, well, who knows what effect this will have? Can we hold that vision, share it, and make it real?
Will we succumb to fear or take control and love? It is up to us. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

50 WEEKS TO 12/21/12: PLANET NOW READY FOR THE BIG LEAP FORWARD

A Happy New Year to all spiritual seekers, freethinkers, aspirants, mystics & gurus!
The Planetary Ascension is just 50 weeks and couples of days away as of this writing. Terrans just celebrated the last Christmas (Dec. 24/25) for the 3rd dimension/density history of the planet. Tonight will witness the last New Year’s Eve celebration, last because there just may be no such celebration by the end of 2012. Post-2012, a new calendar system would most likely be instituted, replacing the Gregorian calendar imposed by the Europeans on the planet.
As far as Terra is concerned, the readiness for the big leap forward is already at a 99% level. The 1% remaining works for the planet are those nitty gritty specifications that will ensure the Divine Plan’s execution for the planet to full throttle.
Consider the following phenomena: (a) the Christ Grid niched at the EMF (electromagnetic frequency) has been fully erected, thus enabling the quantum leap in consciousness that is now going on; (b) major and minor energy centers of the planet were already activated, aiding a quickening in energy balancing for all regions and the globe; and, (c) major and minor hyperspace portals were already opened, thus ensuring greater access to the planet from other regions of the Solar system and galaxy.
Many years earlier than those phenomena mentioned, the preparatory steps were already being done at higher levels of intelligences: (a) energy releases from the being-essence of the Planetary Logos, at the spiritual center in Shamballah, accelerating the energy balance all over the planet, circa 1930s onwards; (b) energy releases from the being-essence of Highest Divine Beings in the Central Spiritual Sun, reinforcing the burning down of negative energies and catalyzing the initiation processes of evolved souls towards Atmic (soul) awakening.
To further ensure greater maneuverability and manageability of planetary changes, the Almighty Father began intervention from the 1970s onwards. Timeline changes began taking shape, such as to witness certain land formations (e.g. California) still standing up squarely, even way after they were prophesied to sink below the sea waters. The intervention has been mitigating the catastrophic changes, so that the discontinuous high-level turbulence (prior to intervention), inclusive of radical land form changes, can be slowed down a bit and distributed widely across a thousand years perhaps.
In other words, those changes that can compress themselves into a 25-year squeeze ‘time crucible’ (from 12-21-2012 through 2037), can be distributed across wide latitudes of time and space. Catastrophic damages can therefore be minimized, while the surviving Terrans will be given sufficient lead time to prepare for the next scenarios of radical changes.
Which means that, right after the planetary space-mass expansion post-polar shift and leap to 4th dimension space, the new cities and global polity can be erected pronto. Nations and old polities will melt away during the most rapid shifts to new realities, which will then permit a greater viability of a global polity led by Ascended Beings, a center where all the post-nation cities will gravitate to—magnificent cities that will mushroom in highly planned fashion across the globe.
Meantime, the target of the Divine Beings and spiritual masters of a 20% survival, with the service-for-others criterion serving as core yardstick for qualification to the new world, is optimistically achievable. Mass initiation is now taking place across the planet that is catalyzing the awareness-raising of the most prepared in the Path. From the personal unconscious, the effect will be felt more and more as the days pass in the months ahead, effects that will then be realized at the conscious level, which at the least will end the polarity within, break down the social antipathies and estrangements, and ensure global cooperation efforts among the survivors.
I need not belabor the point that the (a) Evolutionary Laggards and (b) Demoniacs (negative persons) will be swept off to oblivion as a denouement of the global change. Louie Schwartzberg is an award-winning cinematographer, director, and producer whose notable career spans more than three decades providing breathtaking imagery for feature films, television shows, documentaries and commercials.

As a visual artist, Louie has created some of the most iconic and memorable film moments of our time. He is an innovator in the world of time-lapse, nature, aerial and "slice-of-life" photography - the only cinematographer in the world who has literally been shooting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week continuously for more than 30 years.
Louie was recognized as one of the top 70 Cinematographers for the On Film Kodak Salute Series. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
Louie is credited by many with pioneering the contemporary stock footage industry by founding Energy Film Library, a global company with a network of 12 foreign offices, which was acquired by Getty Images in 1997. Motion picture clients of his cinematic artistry include Sex in the City, The Bourne Ultimatum, Die Hard 4, Syriana, Crash, Men in Black and classics such as American Beauty, Koyaanisqatsi and E.T. among others.
Louie went on to found BlackLight Films, a creative production company specializing in producing original theatrical feature, large format films, HD and TV programming.
In 2004, BlackLight Films completed production of the theatrical feature film, America's Heart &Soul, distributed theatrically by Walt Disney Pictures. In 2006, BlackLight Films completed a series of HD shorts, Louie Films, for the launch of Buena Vista Home Entertainment's Blu-Ray DVD releases. In 2007, the company produced a 1-hour special, Chasing the Light, which aired nationally on PBS.
Past projects include the 35mm film Seasons of the Vine for Disney's California Adventure Theme Park and a 26-half hour series, America!, for The Hallmark Channel.
Louie has won two Clio Awards for Best Environmental Broadcast Spot, an Emmy nomination for Best Cinematography for the Discovery Channel Special, Oceans of Air, and the Heartland Film Festival's Truly Moving Picture Award for Walt Disney Pictures' feature film release America's Heart & Soul.
Louie completed production on a feature length nature documentary, Wings of Life, to be theatrically released worldwide, under Walt Disney Pictures' new production banner, Disneynature. The film was released in France (March 2011) under the title Pollen and won the Roscar Award for Best Cinematography at the 2011 Wild Talk Africa Film Festival.
Louie spoke at the TED 2011 conference in Long Beach, CA and has been a regular presenter at the annual Bioneers Conference in San Francisco. Currently, Louie is in production with National Geographic to produce Hidden Worlds, a 3D Imax film.

With the economic downturn and the spiritual upturn we're experiencing on Earth, we've got lots of great ideas for putting a little less consumerism and a little more consciousness into YOUR Christmas (or Chanukah or Kwanza).
To kick things off, we’d invite you to take a quantum leap in consciousness with us. While our families and jobs DO provide the tangible means for our income, God, Spirit, the Universe, is our SOURCE and SUPPLY of everything! What do you need more of right now? With that in mind, take this Karen Drucker lyric out for a spin, “God is my Source, God is my power, God gives me everything I need. So I give thanks for all my blessings, God gives me everything I need…” When we start here, we open to possibility and dance with the Divine in an affirming and accepting way. We begin by feeling more grateful for what we have and where we are and let go of any feeling of “lack.” Sing it whenever you you need the reminder!
Then we’d urge you to get clear about what Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanza means to you. Take some space alone in the quiet to ask your heart what you LOVE about this time of year. What memories pop up? What spirit needs to shine through for you to feel the JOY? Maybe it’s trimming the tree, lighting the menorah, giving gifts or perhaps it’s simply spending time with loved ones in front of the fire. Whatever makes your heart sing for the season, do your best to incorporate that into YOUR celebration. We’d urge to share this with your family and let them know where you are coming from. At the same time, encourage them to share the parts that will mean the most to them too! Now more than ever, it's about honoring the "we" over the "me."
If you have kids, this is especially important. Let them know ahead of time that while they have a fabulous list, they won’t get EVERYTHING on it this year. Ask them to highlight the one or two things that they really, really want and assure them that Santa will do his/her best! Spend some time talking about the true meaning of the holidays. We LOVE the "Gift of the Magi"story by O. Henry to show this better than either of us could tell it!
Now, onto the gift-giving part. Here are our ideas for making the most of your holly jolly time and resources this year. As our Earth awakens, it’s wonderful to be re-thinking our approach together!
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – this motto of environmental conservation works equally well for having a more conscious, less consumer Christmas.
REDUCE the number of presents you are giving by suggesting to your family, workplace or social group that you draw names or have a “white elephant” Christmas gift exchange. Each person then brings just one gift to give to a specific person or to someone at random. If you used to go for a $50 limit, try $25 or even $10 this time and see how creative you can get!
REUSE gifts that you have been given in the past. “Re-gifting” has gotten a bad rap, but if you have gotten a gift that you can't use or don't like, but you know someone who you think would genuinely love it, we say go for it! You don't have to tell them you are re-gifting, only that you thought of them when you saw it.
When it's time to wrap, look around your house for wrapping paper, cards, tags and see what you can reuse from last year. This means spending less on paper AND making less trash for our planet! With this in mind, go outside and see if you can gather enough evergreens to make your own wreath. Once you open to doing things differently, we have a feeling the ideas will FLOW!
RECYCLE by shopping at second-hand stores for antique, vintage or “like-new” items. We are huge fans of Good Will, Value Village and other second-hand stores. Often the things you find there are better than new because they tend to be unique or one-of-a-kind and not the same old, same old that is being sold in every retail outlet this year. This also turns your shopping trip into a scavenger hunt, which takes some of the tedium out of it for you and makes it, gasp, FUN!!!
Here are some other ideas for creating a more conscious Christmas:
Nothing can make you feel prosperous and more open-hearted than giving to those who have far greater needs this time of year. Include your kids in this activity. Adopt a local family, send gifts to a service man or woman overseas or volunteer to serve food at a shelter this holiday season. Spending time helping others always helps us focus less on what we don't have and more on what we DO.
Shop locally! As easy as it is to load that Amazon cart and hit “check-out,” why not give the little guy your dollars this year and save on gas & shipping costs too? Walk around your neighborhood and see what the elves are offering. If you start earlier, you’ll have plenty of time and be surprised by all the goodies right around you!
Give the Gift of Time (and your talents) – Gifts of time and talent can take many forms. If you are giving it to someone you don't get to see often or spend a lot of time with, make it a gift for a whole day together doing some of your favorite things like an all-day movie party or a home spa day where you paint each others nails and give each other foot baths. If it is for a partner or parent, a coupon book for some “honey-dos” is often a great gift. Give a coupon for a batch of cookies, a back rub, or an afternoon spent raking leaves or changing out all the batteries in their fire alarms. Anything that you know they hate doing or can't do on their own makes a great coupon. If you are a massage therapist, hairstylist, plumber or have some other high demand skill, give free or discount coupons to everyone on your list. We have a feeling they'll ooh & aah!
Give experiences not things – If there's a movie or a play you have seen or a restaurant you have eaten at that you know your friend would love too, give them the gift of this experience. If it's in your budget, buy another ticket for yourself and make it the gift of time spent together as well.
Get crafty – That’s right, tap into your artistic side and make something. If you have a hobby that you particularly love or are good at, make homemade gifts for your friends and family. The extra love you put into a homemade gift really shows and you get to spend your time doing something you enjoy instead of pounding the pavement at the mall desperately searching for the “perfect” gift.
Give the gift of appreciation – Instead of buying presents for your nearest and dearest, write each of them a letter letting them know how much you appreciate having them in your life. Be specific and mention special times you have shared, moments you have treasured and memories that will stick with your forever. Perhaps include an old photo of the two of you together if you have one.
Pay it forward – Make a donation in honor of a friend to a cause that is near and dear to a their heart. Most organizations will send a letter to the person letting them know that a gift has been made in their honor. They will most likely be touched that you went out of your way to support a cause that they care about.
Cook, Eat & Drink Less – Take that feast made for a King and Queen down a notch! We all know how easy it is to overdue it this time of year and belly-aches and hangovers can be telltale signs! Buy a little less, bake a little less and imbibe a little less of everything you're offered.
As you plan your holidays, we would also suggest that you be mindful of how you are spending your time and make sure that there is plenty of “down time” in order to make the “up time” more enjoyable. One of our favorite quotes for the holiday season is, “DO LESS; ENJOY IT MORE.” Take this as your mantra this year and choose to do only those things which really feed your soul and enliven your spirit. Practice saying “no” gracefully and take time to nurture yourself with healthy food, regular exercise, long salt water baths, soothing or invigorating music, and plenty of sleep (we recommend lots of naps this time of the year :).
And last, but certainly not least, let LOVE be your guide. It’s easy to get caught up in feeling like you have to give the BEST gift, buy the most expensive item and make the most amazing meal so your family feels cherished. By infusing the feeling of love into everything you do and buy this season, your true intent will shine though.

The year of 2011 has been, and is a year of evidential awakening in the human race, much work has been done in helping spread the messages of truth, awareness and love. There is more work that needs to be done, and it really is time to roll your sleeves up and take some time and energy to understand things and start working with honesty and integrity in mind, as we approach 2012.
Free thinking people across the globe have become "truthers." Truth-seekers, separating fact from fiction on many topics and changing the way they live and see the world, and often helping change the way we all think and act.
With the help of self organising social media internet platforms there is a growing global consensus on the single fact that the governments and systems of control are simply corrupt to the core. All around the world there is a continuing 24/7 battle going on, and most of us don't even realise it. At this crucial time, we have to remember the words "Don't Panic"
Activism movements worldwide are linking and sharing information, as they connect with the "information sphere", are helping breathe light and life into the activities of all people on Earth. It has also been another critical age of warfare, mass-hysteria and propaganda. Information and document leaks are liberation of information for the people, but are seen as acts of war by the special interests that control the worlds governments.
The age of information has born unto itself the "infowarrior" class, anonymous and everywhere, working for the freedom of information and sharing it with the world. The aims are multiple, the voice is wise, and the progress is multidimensional. The information is there which shows the apparatus and activities of special interest entities, and is working to change the education of every mind.
In this "quasi-information age" there exists a “digital Berlin wall” between information networks and understanding of knowledge. Encircling mainstream media and the mass public, and limiting the freedom of understanding and information that is freely available with an unblocked IP connection. This war is an attempt to keep us too badly informed to have opinions that are strong enough to change and evolve with our surroundings.
There are organisations and people who are actively working with spreading truthful information and awareness, and encourage its natural time course of effect and correction. There is an opposing force, working with darkness and lies, which has become startlingly obvious and is trying to keep people unaware and incapable of rebellion.
People of the world are confused in so many ways from so many directions. To be self-conscious and aware, of their potential and their predicament and to actualise that potential fully is rare. Most people are oblivious or scared of the autocratic assimilating power hungry elite. As it takes time to catch up on ourselves, there is a Stockholm Syndrome tendency to remain live under the thumb of the corrupt systems in place.
The confusion and corruption is so deep, that the “special interest” of this corrupt core has been working to crash and burn the global awareness of these issues, by using "false flags" and promoting false information to the world, the SIE pretend to protect and represent the people they that wish to cripple and enslave .
Even countries and individuals that stand aside from this tide of corrupt thinking and actions, but keep their access routes "open" are ruined. Financial, political, food, utilities and other markets are ruined. People's lives, their minds and their entire being of self and community are ruined, this matched by the refusal of admittance by the denying and the greedy few.
The official information from governments is hypocritical and sensitive around domestic activism and information inquiry, calling those wishing access to information as enemy spies, planning for disaster by storing food as enemies of the state, and peaceful protesters as terrorists, and treating them so.
There are bills being passed all the time which impeach on basic human rights, even the "good" ones are filled with fine print which will enable governments new ways to oppress, interfere, gather more information and keep it secret for their special interests even more, these SIE are using the UN as a focal point to pass legislation. These laws are controlled by the wealthiest countries in the world who carry veto and the largest say, and these laws have laws within them which are illegal and immoral.
Every day the current voted elective remove the basic human rights of everyone and try to stifle the abilities of individuals. We all have a right to protest peacefully, speak freely and share information in life. We must stand up for that right, the 99% will be heard.
The conscious people with light in their hearts envision the future of Earth without these enemies of freedom. The people will bring about progress, peace and sustainability. As Occupy becomes the worlds' newest organism, the “Occupus.”
Time, energy and reality are interacting in new ways that encourage growth and revival of the human spirit within us all, the strives for freedom, love and happiness.
The global spheres of power are externally stressing the difficulty and complications of rebuilding the mess that is apparent, and internally attempting to shift power away from the individuals and building a global pyramid scheme of untold size. They are actively rebuilding missile defence networks and re-arming themselves for another cold war, on an epic Orwellian scale.
For those seeking success and fortune many have found the best “way to the top” and to earn money is to scam the pants of off people and if you are really good, you also sell them a suit made of invisible gold. Thereby a huge amount of people really believed in what they were taught at school and what the corrupt power structures tell them to do, tricking them into all sorts of scenarios and beliefs, all of which are played out against each other in a heavily censored, televised battle.

One of many SIE's within play is the example of H.A.A.R.P. a USA funded and governed organisation supposed to measure and detect the earth's magnetic environment for scientific reasons, and who's facilities destabilise the ionosphere, in turn destabilizing geological and meteorological systems on a massive global scale. The effort by global warming initiatives has been a false flag in many ways,covering up the issues of cleaning energy, and over-legislation and cooling to a system that has a much higher tipping point than is portrayed.
One of the many positive human consciousness projects is the lightworkers.org organisation and the positive encouragement of personal learning and evolvement that is promoted when being humble and working in the light and truth of yourself and the world.
The weakening of the ionosphere is not a good thing, it lowers the global temperature, it allows cosmic radiation from all sources, most of which is harmful to penetrate into the Earth's atmosphere. Predicted increases in solar activity, which may happen over the coming years would cause more radiation. Electrical systems regularly fail in these conditions, and human interference exposure to this type of radiation can lead to increased cancer rates and motor-neurone dysfunction.
There needs to be a global effort from every person to interrupt the special interest groups that represent a twisted monster that is the autocratic politic elite of the obscured financial manipulators. They seek to crush the independence of the world, to crash democratic processes, and follow through with ultra-fascist policies updated for the next age of human awareness.
It is up to all of us to speak our minds, and connect with consciousness of love and truth and meditate as often as possible. Time itself is an inter dimensional entity, and is warping as we pass through it. The time it takes you to breath deeply and think clearly will save you time and energy in the long run, so remember to do so as often as possible. Time is also accelerating as the entropy or energy of Earth increases.

KUSA - Arsenic has long been recognized as a poison and a contaminant in drinking water, but now concerns are growing about arsenic in foods, especially in fruit juices that are a mainstay for children.
Controversy over arsenic in apple juice made headlines as the school year began when Mehmet Oz, M.D., host of "The Dr. Oz Show," told viewers that tests he'd commissioned found 10 of three dozen apple-juice samples with total arsenic levels exceeding 10 parts per billion (ppb). There's no federal arsenic threshold for juice or most foods, though the limit for bottled and public water is 10 ppb. The Food and Drug Administration, trying to reassure consumers about the safety of apple juice, claimed that most arsenic in juices and other foods is of the organic type that is "essentially harmless."
But an investigation by Consumer Reports shows otherwise. Our study, including tests of apple and grape juice (download a PDF of our complete test results), a scientific analysis of federal health data, a consumer poll, and interviews with doctors and other experts, finds the following:
•Roughly 10 percent of our juice samples, from five brands, had total arsenic levels that exceeded federal drinking-water standards. Most of that arsenic was inorganic arsenic, a known carcinogen.
•One in four samples had lead levels higher than the FDA's bottled-water limit of 5 ppb. As with arsenic, no federal limit exists for lead in juice.
•Apple and grape juice constitute a significant source of dietary exposure to arsenic, according to our analysis of federal health data from 2003 through 2008.
•Children drink a lot of juice. Thirty-five percent of children 5 and younger drink juice in quantities exceeding pediatricians' recommendations, our poll of parents shows.
•Mounting scientific evidence suggests that chronic exposure to arsenic and lead even at levels below water standards can result in serious health problems.
•Inorganic arsenic has been detected at disturbing levels in other foods, too, which suggests that more must be done to reduce overall dietary exposure.
•Our findings have prompted Consumers Union, the advocacy arm of Consumer Reports, to urge the FDA to set arsenic and lead standards for apple and grape juice. Our scientists believe that juice should at least meet the 5 ppb lead limit for bottled water. They recommend an even lower arsenic limit for juice: 3 ppb.
"People sometimes say, 'If arsenic exposure is so bad, why don't you see more people sick or dying from it?' But the many diseases likely to be increased by exposure even at relatively low levels are so common already that its effects are overlooked simply because no one has looked carefully for the connection," says Joshua Hamilton, Ph.D., a toxicologist specializing in arsenic research and the chief academic and scientific officer at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Mass.
As our investigation found, when scientists and doctors do look, the connections they've found underscore the need to protect public health by reducing Americans' exposure to this potent toxin.
Many sources of exposure
Arsenic is a naturally occurring element that can contaminate groundwater used for drinking and irrigation in areas where it's abundant, such as parts of New England, the Midwest, and the Southwest. See the map from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) showing test results of arsenic levels in groundwater throughout the United States.
The public's exposure to arsenic extends beyond those areas because since 1910, the United States has used roughly 1.6 million tons of it for agricultural and other industrial uses. About half of that cumulative total has been used since only the mid-1960s. Lead-arsenate insecticides were widely used in cotton fields, orchards, and vineyards until their use was banned in the 1980s. But residues in the soil can still contaminate crops.
For decades, arsenic was also used in a preservative for pressure-treated lumber commonly used for decks and playground equipment. In 2003 that use was banned, (as was most residential use) but the wood can contribute to arsenic in groundwater when it's recycled as mulch.
Other sources of exposure include coal-fired power plants and smelters that heat arsenic-containing ores to process copper or lead. Today the quantity of arsenic released into the environment in the United States by human activities is three times more than that released from natural sources, says the federal Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.
The form of arsenic in the examples above is inorganic arsenic. It's a carcinogen known to cause bladder, lung, and skin cancer in people and to increase risks of cardiovascular disease, immunodeficiencies, and type 2 diabetes.
The other form that arsenic takes is organic arsenic, created when arsenic binds to molecules containing carbon. Fish can contain an organic form of arsenic called arsenobetaine, generally considered nontoxic to humans. But questions have been raised about the human health effects of other types of organic arsenic in foods, including juice.
Use of organic arsenic in agricultural products has also caused concern. For instance, the EPA in 2006 took steps to stop the use of herbicides containing organic arsenic because of their potential to turn into inorganic arsenic in soil and contaminate drinking water. And in 2011, working with the FDA, drug company Alpharma agreed to suspend the sale of Roxarsone, a poultry-feed additive, because it contained an organic form of arsenic that could convert into inorganic arsenic inside the bird, potentially contaminating the meat. Or it could contaminate soil when chicken droppings are used as fertilizer. Other arsenic feed additives are still being used.
What our tests found
We went shopping in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York in August and September, buying 28 apple juices and three grape juices. Our samples came from ready-to-drink bottles, juice boxes, and cans of concentrate. For most juices, we bought three different lot numbers to assess variability. (For some juices, we couldn't find three lots, so we tested one or two.) In all, we tested 88 samples.
Five samples of apple juice and four of grape juice had total arsenic levels exceeding the 10 ppb federal limit for bottled and drinking water. Levels in the apple juices ranged from 1.1 to 13.9 ppb, and grape-juice levels were even higher, 5.9 to 24.7 ppb. Most of the total arsenic in our samples was inorganic, our tests showed.
As for lead, about one fourth of all juice samples had levels at or above the 5-ppb limit for bottled water. The top lead level for apple juice was 13.6 ppb; for grape juice, 15.9 ppb.
The following brands had at least one sample of apple juice that exceeded 10 ppb: Apple & Eve, Great Value (Walmart), and Mott's. For grape juice, at least one sample from Walgreens and Welch's exceeded that threshold. And these brands had one or more samples of apple juice that exceeded 5 ppb of lead: America's Choice (A&P), Gerber, Gold Emblem (CVS), Great Value, Joe's Kids (Trader Joe's), Minute Maid, Seneca, and Walgreens. At least one sample of grape juice exceeding 5 ppb of lead came from Gold Emblem, Walgreens, and Welch's. Our findings provide a spot check of a number of local juice aisles, but they can't be used to draw general conclusions about arsenic or lead levels in any particular brand. Arsenic-tainted soil in U.S. orchards is a likely source of contamination for apples, and finding lead with arsenic in juices that we tested is not surprising. Even with a ban on lead-arsenate insecticides, "we are finding problems with some Washington state apples, not because of irresponsible farming practices now but because lead-arsenate pesticides that were used here decades ago remain in the soil," says Denise Wilson, Ph.D., an associate professor at the University of Washington who has tested apple juices and discovered elevated arsenic levels even in brands labeled organic.
Over the years, a shift has occurred in how juice sold in America is produced. To make apple juice, manufacturers often blend water with apple-juice concentrate from multiple sources. For the past decade, most concentrate has come from China (PDF). Concerns have been raised about the possible continuing use of arsenical pesticides there, and several Chinese provinces that are primary apple-growing regions are known to have high arsenic concentrations in groundwater.
A much bigger test than ours would be needed to establish any correlation between elevated arsenic or lead levels and the juice concentrate's country of origin. Samples we tested included some made from concentrate from multiple countries including Argentina, China, New Zealand, South Africa, and Turkey; others came from a single country. A few samples solely from the United States had elevated levels of lead or arsenic, and others did not. The same was true for samples containing only Chinese concentrate.
The FDA has been collecting its own data to see whether it should set guidelines to continue to ensure the safety of apple juice, a spokeswoman told us.
The Juice Products Association said, "We are committed to providing nutritious and safe fruit juices to consumers and will comply with limits established by the agency."
Answering a crucial question
We also wanted to know whether people who drink juice end up being exposed to more arsenic than those who don't.
So we commissioned an analysis of data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), conducted annually by the National Center for Health Statistics. Information is collected on the health and nutrition of a nationally representative sample of the U.S. population, based on interviews and physical exams that may include a blood or urine test. Officials and researchers often use the data to determine risk factors for major diseases and develop public health policy. In fact, data on lead in the blood of NHANES participants were instrumental in developing policies that have successfully resulted in lead being removed from gasoline.
Our analysis was led by Richard Stahlhut, M.D., M.P.H., an environmental health researcher at the University of Rochester with expertise in NHANES data, working with Consumer Reports statisticians. Ana Navas-Acien, M.D., Ph.D., a physician-epidemiologist at Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health, also provided guidance. She was the lead author of a 2008 study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (PDF) that first linked low-level arsenic exposure with the prevalence of type 2 diabetes in the United States.
Stahlhut reviewed NHANES data from 2003 through 2008 from participants tested for total urinary arsenic who reported their food and drink consumption for 24 hours the day before their NHANES visit. Because most ingested arsenic is excreted in urine, the best measure of recent exposure is a urine test.
Following Navas-Acien's advice, we excluded from our NHANES analysis anyone with results showing detectable levels of arsenobetaine, the organic arsenic in seafood. That made the results we analyzed more likely to represent inorganic arsenic, of greatest concern in terms of potential health risks.
The resulting analysis of almost 3,000 study participants found that those reporting apple-juice consumption had on average 19 percent greater levels of total urinary arsenic than those subjects who did not, and those who reported drinking grape juice had 20 percent higher levels. The results might understate the correlation between juice consumption and urinary arsenic levels because NHANES urinary data exclude children younger than 6, who tend to be big juice drinkers.
"The current analysis suggests that these juices may be an important contributor to dietary arsenic exposure," says Keeve Nachman, Ph.D., a risk scientist at the Center for a Livable Future and the Bloomberg School of Public Health, both at Johns Hopkins University. "It would be prudent to pursue measures to understand and limit young children's exposures to arsenic in juice."
Robert Wright, M.D., M.P.H., associate professor of pediatrics and environmental health at Harvard University who specializes in research on the effect of heavy-metals exposure in children, says that findings from our juice tests and database analysis concern him: "Because of their small size, a child drinking a box of juice would consume a larger per-body-weight dose of arsenic than an adult drinking the exact same box of juice. Those brands with elevated arsenic should investigate the source and eliminate it."
A chronic problem
Arsenic has been notoriously used as a poison since ancient times. A fatal poisoning would require a single dose of inorganic arsenic about the weight of a postage stamp. But chronic toxicity can result from long-term exposure to much lower levels in food, and even to water that meets the 10-ppb drinking-water limit.
A 2004 study of children in Bangladesh (PDF) suggested diminished intelligence based on test scores in children exposed to arsenic in drinking water at levels above 5 ppb, says study author Joseph Graziano, Ph.D., a professor of environmental health sciences and pharmacology at Columbia University. He's now conducting similar research with children living in New Hampshire and Maine, where arsenic levels of 10 to 100 ppb are commonly found in well water, to determine whether better nutrition in the United States affects the results.
People with private wells may face greater risks than those on public systems because they're responsible for testing and treating their own water. In Maine, where almost half the population relies on private wells, the USGS found arsenic levels in well water as high as 3,100 ppb.
And a study published in 2011 (PDF) in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health examined the long-term effects of low-level exposure on more than 300 rural Texans whose groundwater was estimated to have arsenic at median levels below the federal drinking-water standard. It found that exposure was related to poor scores in language, memory, and other brain functions.
Chronic arsenic exposure can initially cause gastrointestinal problems and skin discoloration or lesions. Exposure over time, which the World Health Organization says could be five to 20 years, could increase the risk of various cancers and high blood pressure, diabetes, and reproductive problems.
Signs of chronic low-level arsenic exposure can be mistaken for other ailments such as chronic fatigue syndrome. Usually the connection to arsenic exposure is not made immediately, as Sharyn Duffy of Geneseo, N.Y., discovered. She visited a doctor in 2007 about pain and skin changes on the sole of her left foot. She was referred to a podiatrist and eventually received a diagnosis of hyperkeratosis, in which lesions develop or thick skin forms on the palms or soles of the feet. It can be among the earliest symptoms of chronic arsenic poisoning. But she says it was roughly two years before she was finally referred to a neurologist, who suggested testing for arsenic. She had double the typical levels.
"Testing for arsenic isn't part of a routine checkup," says Duffy, a retiree. "When you come in with symptoms like I had, ordering that kind of test probably wouldn't even occur to most doctors."
Michael Harbut, M.D., chief of the environmental cancer program at Karmanos Institute in Detroit, says, "Given what we know about the wide range of arsenic exposure sources we have in this country, I suspect there is an awful lot of chronic, low-level arsenic poisoning going on that's never properly diagnosed."
Emerging research suggests that when arsenic exposure occurs in the womb or in early childhood, it not only increases cancer risks later in life but also can cause lasting harm to children's developing brains and endocrine and immune systems, leading to other diseases, too.
Case in point: From 1958 through 1970, residents of Antofagasta, Chile, were exposed to naturally occurring arsenic in drinking water (PDF) that peaked at almost 1,000 ppb before an arsenic removal plant was installed. Studies led by researchers at the University of California at Berkeley found that people born during that period who had probable exposure in the womb and during early childhood had a lung-cancer death rate six times higher than those in their age group elsewhere in Chile. Their rate of death in their 30s and 40s from another form of lung disease was almost 50 times higher than for people without that arsenic exposure.
"Recent studies have shown that early-childhood exposure to arsenic carries the most serious long-term risk," says Joshua Hamilton of the Marine Biological Laboratory. "So even though reducing arsenic exposure is important for everyone, we need to pay special attention to protecting pregnant moms, babies, and young kids."
Other dietary exposures
In addition to juice, foods including chicken, rice, and even baby food have been found to contain arsenic-sometimes at higher levels than the amounts found in juice. Brian Jackson, Ph.D., an analytical chemist and research associate professor at Dartmouth College, presented his findings at a June 2011 scientific conference in Aberdeen, Scotland. He reported finding up to 23 ppb of arsenic in lab tests of name-brand jars of baby food, with inorganic arsenic representing 70 to 90 percent of those total amounts.
Similar results turned up in a 2004 study conducted by FDA scientists in Cincinnati, who found arsenic levels of up to 24 ppb in baby food, with sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, and peaches containing only the inorganic form. A United Kingdom study published in 2008 (PDF) found that the levels of inorganic arsenic in 20-ounce packets of dried infant rice cereals ranged from 60 to 160 ppb. Rice-based infant cereals are often the first solid food that babies eat.
Rice frequently contains high levels of inorganic arsenic because it is among plants that are unusually efficient at taking up arsenic from the soil and incorporating it in the grains people eat. Moreover, much of the rice produced in the U.S. is grown in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas, on land formerly used to grow cotton, where arsenical pesticides were used for decades.
"Initially, in some regions rice planted there produced little grain due to these arsenical pesticides, but farmers then bred a type of rice specifically designed to produce high yields on the contaminated soil," says Andrew Meharg, professor of biogeochemistry at the University of Aberdeen, in Scotland. Meharg studies human exposures to arsenic in the environment. His research over the past six years has shown that U.S. rice has among the highest average inorganic arsenic levels in the world-almost three times higher than levels in Basmati rice imported from low-arsenic areas of Nepal, India, and Pakistan. Rice from Egypt has the lowest levels of all.
Infant rice cereal for the U.S. market is generally made from U.S. rice, Meharg says, but labeling usually doesn't specify country of origin. He says exposure to arsenic through infant rice cereals could be reduced greatly if cereal makers used techniques that don't require growing rice in water-flooded paddies or if they obtained rice from low-arsenic areas. His 2007 study (PDF) found that median arsenic levels in California rice were 41 percent lower than levels in rice from the south-central U.S.
Setting federal standards
Evidence of arsenic's ability to cause cancer and other life-threatening illnesses has surged because some of the diseases linked to it have latency periods of several decades. Only recently have scientists been able to more fully measure the effects in populations that were exposed to elevated levels of arsenic in drinking water many years ago.
The Environmental Protection Agency periodically revises its assessment of the toxicity of various chemicals to offer guidance on drinking-water standards. Based on such a review, the agency changed the water standard for arsenic to 10 ppb, effective in 2006, from the 50-ppb limit it set in 1975. The EPA had proposed a 5-ppb limit in 2000, so the current limit is a compromise that came only after years of haggling over the costs of removing arsenic. Since 2006, New Jersey has had a 5-ppb threshold, advising residents that water with arsenic levels above that shouldn't be used for drinking or cooking.
For known human carcinogens such as inorganic arsenic, the EPA assumes there's actually no "safe" level of exposure, so it normally sets exposure limits that include a margin of safety to ideally allow for only one additional case of cancer in a million people, or at worst, no more than one in 10,000. For water with 10 ppb of arsenic, the excess cancer risk is one in 500.
Debate over that standard is likely to begin anew. The agency's latest draft report, from February 2010, proposes that the number used to calculate the cancer risk posed by ingesting inorganic arsenic be increased 17-fold to reflect arsenic's role in causing bladder and lung cancer. The proposal "suggests that arsenic's carcinogenic properties have been underestimated for a long time and that the federal drinking-water standard is underprotective based on current science," says Keeve Nachman, the Johns Hopkins scientist.
Each year the FDA tests a variety of foods and beverages for arsenic and other contaminants. It also started a program in 2005 to test for specific toxins such as arsenic and lead in domestic and imported products. As of late November, that program had published results for 160 samples of apple juice and concentrate. And the agency can alert inspectors at U.S. ports to conduct increased surveillance for products suspected to pose risks. Currently there's an alert for increased surveillance of apple concentrate from China and six other countries "where we have a suspicion there may be high levels of arsenic in their products," says FDA spokeswoman Stephanie Yao. But in fiscal 2010, the agency conducted physical inspections of only 2 percent of imported food shipments. Consumers Union urges federal officials to set a standard for total arsenic in apple and grape juice. Our research suggests that the standard should be 3 ppb. Concerning lead, juice should at least meet the bottled-water standard of 5 ppb. Such standards would better protect children, who are most vulnerable to the effects of arsenic and lead. And they're achievable levels: 41 percent of the samples we tested met both thresholds.
Moreover, the EPA should impose stricter drinking-water standards for arsenic, Consumers Union believes. (The drinking-water threshold for lead is 15 ppb, which acknowledges that many older homes have water pipes or solder with lead.) Officials should also ban arsenic in pesticides, animal-feed additives, and fertilizers.
As our tests show, sources of lead haven't been eliminated, but dramatic progress has been made: Since the 1970s, average blood lead levels in children younger than 6 have dropped by about 90 percent, thanks to a federal ban on lead in house paint and gas. The U.S. should be equally aggressive with arsenic, suggests Joseph Graziano at Columbia University. "We tackled every source, from gasoline to paint to solder in food cans," he says, "and we should be just as vigilant in preventing arsenic from entering our food and water because the consequences of exposure are enormous for adults as well as children."
How much juice do children drink?
Too many children drink too much juice, according to our poll of parents. One in four toddlers 2 and younger and 45 percent of children ages 3 to 5 drink 7 or more ounces of juice a day. The American Academy of Pediatrics cautions that to help prevent obesity and tooth decay, children younger than 6 should drink no more than 6 ounces a day, about the size of a juice box. (Infants younger than 6 months shouldn't drink any.) The possible presence of arsenic or lead in juices is all the more reason to stick with those nutrition-based limits.
Our findings are from 555 telephone interviews in October with parents, who were asked about children's juice consumption the previous day.
Find out how much arsenic is in your groundwater
Arsenic can contaminate groundwater used for drinking and irrigation in areas where it is geologically abundant and in other areas where chemical conditions are likely to cause it to dissolve into water. Levels can vary widely throughout the United States, as illustrated in the map at right showing arsenic measurements for groundwater samples from about 31,000 wells and springs in 49 states compiled by the USGS.
Orange or red symbols on the map indicate areas where samples contained arsenic at levels exceeding the federal limit of 10 micrograms per liter, or 10 parts per billion (ppb) for public drinking water.
Public-water-supply systems are required to treat water that tests high in arsenic so that it meets federal limits before delivering it to consumers. And in New Jersey, public water systems must meet an even stricter limit of 5 ppb. But if you have a private well rather than a public system, you are responsible for testing and treating it.

The 31,000 groundwater samples represented in this map were collected for studies on potable groundwater resources by the USGS, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the Texas Water Development Commission, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and the six New England states. Estimation of the arsenic concentration in groundwater in any specific area must consider the following limitations and sources of variability:
•The data include a variety of well types, including private wells, public-supply wells, and monitoring wells not used for water supply.
•These groundwater samples do not represent drinking water served by public-water-supply systems because these utilities may treat or mix groundwater with high arsenic concentrations from individual wells with water containing lower arsenic levels in order to meet drinking water standards before delivering it to consumers.
•The appearance of the arsenic distribution is influenced by the order in which wells are plotted. In this map, wells with higher concentrations are drawn on top of those with more moderate concentrations. This overplotting may exaggerate the frequency of high values in areas where wells are close together. But given the risks posed by arsenic exposure, we opted in favor of making areas with elevated arsenic visible whenever possible to encourage private well owners in those areas to test and treat their water to reduce exposure risks.
•Arsenic concentration may vary with depth within the same aquifer, or between aquifers that are stacked vertically-for example, a shallow sand and gravel aquifer can overlie a deeper bedrock aquifer. The map does not show the vertical distribution of arsenic.
•Many of the wells were sampled more than once, but evaluation of the data indicates that there is no relation between arsenic concentration and time tested for most of the wells.
With these qualifications in mind, the data above provides an estimate of arsenic occurrence in the groundwater resource in general. Visit the USGS for additional information on the studies behind the map, along with more detailed maps for various portions of the country.
Ways to reduce your family's risk
Test your water. If your home or a home you're considering buying isn't on a public water system, have the home's water tested for arsenic and lead. To find a certified lab, contact your local health department or call the federal Safe Drinking Water Hotline at 800-426-4791. You can get information for your public-water system from the EPA.
Limit children's juice consumption. Nutrition guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatrics can help. The academy recommends that infants younger than 6 months shouldn't drink juice; children up to 6 years old should consume no more than four to six ounces a day and older children, no more than 8 to 12 ounces a day. Diluting juice with distilled or purified water can help meet those goals.
Consider your food. Buying certified organic chicken makes sense because organic standards don't allow the use of chicken feed containing arsenic. But for juice and other foods, it's not so certain. Organic standards prohibit the use of synthetic fertilizers and most pesticides, but organic juices still may contain arsenic if they're made from fruit grown in soil where arsenical insecticides were used.

If you're concerned, get tested. Ask your doctor for a urine test for you or your child to determine arsenic levels. Don't eat seafood for 48 to 72 hours before being tested to avoid misleadingly high levels from "fish arsenic." For a medical toxicologist in your area who can interpret results, call the American Association of Poison Control Centers at 800-222-1222.

There have been a mass crossing of Seals/Ring and other species in the Arctic Region. This mass population death has been observed in Alaska, CA, Russia.(Large HAARP BED in Alaska)
Their analysis is it's a disease. Or so they say.
This anomaly/death of seals is also occuring on the Atlantic Coast, and the same mass death was noted in the Atlantic US from Maine down through New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
They have not disclosed the reason as they say they don't know, although they were taking samples. The Seals are displaying signs of skin lesions.
I am wondering if this is resultant of the HAARP technology and Microwaves or Radioactivity. Something that was crossing my mind.
It was crossing my mind because of humans I know that are being affected in remote areas of Alaska where they receive skin burns and devastating effects,death, birth defects from the abuse of this technology.
This is also not a story being reported or investigated in the mainstream.

Hi All, could those who are so inclined please send help for the environment, a container ship grounded on a reef off the coast of Tauranga NZ a couple of days ago. Oil has been leaking from the ship, contamination so far has not been severe and wildlife affected so far is minimal and decontamination of affected creatures is ongoing. There is a severe weather warning for the area which may affect salvage of the oil on board, and some of the containers on the ship have hazardous materials. This area has a number of pristine marine reserves and endangered species will be severely affected if the ship breaks open. Energy help would be most appreciated

Volcanic eruption alert on Spanish Canary Island
MADRID — The regional government of the Spanish Canary Island of El Hierro has issued a volcanic eruption alert following almost 10,000 small tremors recorded in the past three months.
The government posted a yellow alert — second level in a scale of four — Sunday and closed some hillside roads and a tunnel to avoid possible injury by falling rocks.
The island's 11,000 residents have been told to monitor communications by the civil protection authority. The island was shaken late Saturday by a 4.3-magnitude quake. Seismic activity began in the area on July 17.
Like all the Canary Islands, El Hierro was formed by volcanic activity. It has some 500 volcanic cones.

Okay, survival of the fittest, do you believe in it?
What would happen if societies all over the world stopped taking care of people who do nothing but lie in front of the TV all day, eat tons of processed foods and drink alcohol to numb their minds?
I'm not a cold person, very far from it, but I cannot help but to wonder would Darwin's theory take place, would the weak take themselves out of the equation?
Finland has its fair share of problems, the one that easily comes to my mind is drunks in public places, just few months ago two drunks got into a knife fight 500 yards from where I live and one died. Now - if you gave two smart, active, motivated people knifes and got them rattled up I doubt they would go at it like the drunks, right? I mean imagine your two smartest most decent friends, the other says f-you to the other, is a fight to the death gonna break out? Most likely your answer is no. Well -- so is mine. So this brings me to wonder about this...
If one were to believe in the malevolent illuminati and their desire to control, then wouldn't this sort of cross with it? If humanity was still in the survival of the fittest full-mode then people probably would be less likely controlled because smart people tend to think for themselves, they tend to try eat better go organic, be active, stay motivated and get less depressed and stuck in front of the TV. Perhaps I'm rambling and in my defense it is only 6 a.m. and I've been up since 4 a.m. thinking about stuff as I cannot sleep ( due to flu ).
I'd really like to get feedback from anyone crossing by this, what do you think about the survival of the fittest concerning where spirituality is going and how you see it tying to 'nwo'?

"Belong to?" I am sorry I sure don't understand. It's a garden, a place of beauty to immerse oneself in...
Right. Who has the title? The deed?
HMMMMmmmm. Maybe the title could be "THE Garden" and the deed could be "Bliss" or "Fun"--but if you're pooped we could make it, "Rest." These all seem like good deeds to me.
You're very sweet, I mean who posesses this garden.
I don't think it's "posessed." I see little demonic around here...still, never studied much on "posession." I did see "The Exorcist"--yeeech. Then that sequel with the locusts? Creepy. I'd rather just lurk around in the garden, here...now...
Sigh. Someone should be in charge.

This garden, maintain it, protect it, upkeep and use. It should be designated as a "leisure spot" for our children.
I don't have any children, not yet anyway. What is "leisure?"

I named every flower and tree in this garden...every animal knows my name and we seem to be able to commuicate perfectly. But some of OUR definitions seem different...

One day, in the garden the hooligans came and began to tear up the flowers to smear on their faces to cover their stink. They began chopping down trees and digging up the soil, piling rocks here and making fires there...
We called the cops, they came and took the criminals away. BUT the damage was done, the trees lay bleeding, the flowers mushed into mush. Building a garden seemed too much work, so it was paved. NO one wanted to visit or love one more concrete slab. The garden lay fallow. Until the slab cracked...

During the rolling Black out in Southern Cal proported to be a human error, someone pushing the wrong button as their PR statement was delivered- which affected some 2 million persons from Orange County down to Mexico Border and AZ.
Now there are some 200 squid washing up on the shoreline of San Clemente CA that is about 13 days from the incident at the Nuclear Plant being shut down in San Clemente CA .
This could be resultant of that ~OR some other oceanic activity. Santa Barbara having recent activity.
We won't know unless someone tests the squid if it's radiation or something else mother earth is trying to point out.

Large parts of South Africa's beautiful, but water-poor and ecologically sensitive Karoo region are under threat of being devastated by mining operations to extract natural gas using a controversial technique called hydraulic fracturing or 'fracking'.
During fracking millions of litres of water, sand and numerous chemicals most of which are toxic, carcinogic as well as teratogenic (they include benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, xylene, ethylene glycol (antifreeze), diesel fuel, naphthalene (moth ball) compounds, boric acid, arsenic, poly nuclear organic hydrocarbons, only to name a few of 500-odd chemicals used), are pumped into boreholes at high pressure to release natural gas (called shale gas) trapped in layers of underground rock.
In the USA, where fracking has been used extensively, there have been hundreds of documented cases of this process resulting in:
- catastrophic drinking water pollution;
- air pollution;
- health concerns for humans and animals; and
- general environmental degradation.
Right now, Shell and other international and local companies are preparing to explore tens of thousands of square kilometres of land in South Africa for natural gas exploration by fracking. Most of the area under threat is already extremely water-stressed and can not afford any water to be either wasted or contaminated by the fracking process which, once in full production, may involve tens of thousands of boreholes and billions of litres of water.
There is a growing groundswell of opposition to the use of fracking in South Africa by a broad coalition of farmers, environmental organisations and ordinary citizens.

Here is an "official" report - However, it was upgraded to a 7.0
LIMA — A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck a remote Amazon region of Peru on Wednesday, shaking office buildings in the capital Lima about 370 miles away, witnesses and the U.S. Geological Survey said.
Local media said there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage in central parts of the Andean nation.
The USGS said the epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 90 miles, near the town of Pucallpa, a commercial center of about 200,000 poulation in a sparsely populated region in central-eastern Peru close to the Brazilian border.
Telephone lines were down in the eastern area, which is not a mining region. Earthquake-prone Peru is a leading metals exporter.

Who Am I?
I AM Selene, Luna, Moon. . . I have many names and many faces and yet am still one being. I have been with your mother Earth for many years, circling her, supporting her and you all. I was once a planet like Earth supporting life, many ages ago. I have since closed that chapter of my life, though I have offered a home to some beings who currently live with me. My life as a planet ended, my consciousness split up into parts and we went separate paths. This part of my consciousness journeyed here, attracted by the lovely pull of your home. I am happy to support Earth and share with her and you all what wisdom I have.
I tug on your bodies and your heartstrings to constantly remind you all to turn inward, to slow down, and to be all that you are, consciously.
We are connected you and I. Our bodies are made up of similar materials, our souls expressions of the same Divinity.
I have been watching you for so long. You have changed bodies again and again, but you have not changed. You are still so beautiful. Over the eons, we have grown accustomed to each other, we have reflected each other. You cycle as I do. I am the outward reflection of your inward cycling. You cycle with me even if you are unaware. We are so entwined you and I, that you could not not cycle with me. Just as separation from Earth and Nature are illusions, so to is separation from me. You are inherently connected to all things.
The difference we are suggesting is awareness.
If you wish to improve your connection with my energies, if you wish to harness your own cycle, then I encourage you to take this first step:
Notice yourself. Notice your feelings, your ambitions, your energy levels, and your body and how they are all connected to each other and to me. Take note.
You will begin noticing how you already engage in cycle. Your every day, your every experience is part of some cycle, several different cycles. You will more easily let go of linear thinking and begin thinking in circles. Dancing in circles. Singing in circles.

They're big trees, did I mention that?
Yesterday went down to continue the work of dissassembling a second tree. This one had fallen in the yard of Colin and Renee. A little trickier because it was on power and phone and cable lines. The power company had come and moved their line the first night. The other two, low voltage, lines still hang.
AND the break is about ten feet up in the air. We cleared slowly and deliberately. It's kind of like taking down a building, if you want to avoid injury, be careful. No one was injured.
If the tree was out in the woods, and it was just me and my lumberjacking buddy, I might be a bit more cowboy about it all. But this is right on a very narrow street. The people across the street were having a yard sale. Around the corner there, the farmers market is going on. The city had dropped off some of those cones, the orange ones. The roads are very narrow to begin with, and we had one lane blocked to have some room to work.
AND if that didn't slow down things enough, my big dog would wander around keeping an eye on everything.
AT one point I thought the whole tree was going to twist down into the street. This, of course, was the time that everyone slowed down as they drove by to watch. OR stop completely to talk about the tree that had gone down in thier yard...
Renee and Colin were a joy. NOT so much on the lumberjacking stuff, needed too much supervision in my humble opinion. BUT they were some neighbors that we hadn't met before. Turned out they're our age, and have been married about the same time. When we knocked off during the heat of the day they came down here and shared some fellowship and a safety meeting.
AND we all went for some lunch that no one wanted to prepare.
I sort of think of the whole world as my friend, every living thing. BUT I recognize that most people have a narrower definition, and that is fine. When we get into our fifties (wtf!!!) it's not so easy. I think all four of us are excited to have new friends. We're all on our best behavior, checking out responses and stuff. It's sweet.
I am grateful to the point of being unable to express it. The process, this life, the lessons, the love. 'Tsall good.

Not really sure what I have to say. Tales of life...big storm came through yesterday, blew down some big trees up the street. SO, I put on my boots and threw my saw in the truck to see what I could glom onto for next winter's heat.
Up there by the cop shop, a big ole pecan tree had busted and was laying on a power line. All the neighbor folks were standing around. I have a hard time going unnoticed, so I make an entrance. Objectively, I must look pretty macho. Beat up, but very functional pickup, same for the man who gets out. Its so humid I am in a permasweat. Thinking I would get all dirty I threw on a very old T-shirt that someone gave me during my hermit days.
It's a cartoon picture of a fifties-type couple staring into each others eyes...the bubble of the man's voice reads: "You bitch, you've ruined my life!" Ha. Kind of embarrassing in the wrong venue. I am tending these days towards less vocal attire.
SO, I met everybody, probably many again. The tree was in the yard of "the Mexicans" they claimed with a veiled sneer. I asked if they were home, apparently not. The power line would preclude me from just jumping in and beginning. So we stood around, chatted.
LOTS of dog talk. My big dog Robin is very social. She goes on rounds to different houses and asks to come in. Many people do and give her treats and love her up, stroking her doggie ego. (Do dogs have egos? Can the egoless be proud?) She is something of a local celebrity. I am pretty sure she is personna non grata up in the hollar where she chased some domestic chickens over the weekend.
Robin's boyfriend is a big ole male named Bud. Robin is "fixed" but Bud isn't. So he comes down to our place and pees all over the porch and the car tires and other places that seem important to both him and my wife. He spends his free time laying in our yard, always at a respectable distance pining for his darling.
Bud's mom was at the post-storm gathering and stated unequivically that she wasn't going to have him fixed, he was too old. Which made me smile, thinking maybe I was too. She said that I should be nice to him, and I told her I was--while still protecting my own bitches. ;) She said I should give him a milkbone every once in a while. I laughed and told her in all honesty I didn't buy milkbones because she and the other fans of mutts were giving them plenty. Everyone enjoyed a chuckle.
Her name is Joyce, Bud's mom. She's my buddy. We talk about the neighborhood, the dogs. I scold her when she's bigoted, talking about "the damn mexicans." She's like always sort of stern and grumpy but us lightworkers recognize.
She complains about her neighbor, Brenda, who lost her husband and is sort of demented--BUT she also keeps an eye on her, helped her clean up the yard, cares. You know anyone like that? IN 3D they're sort of unappealing and easy to write off, invisible to some. Doing good works in secret.
THAT is why I am here. To support her. To support you. Nothing famous, nothing unusual, just love, sweet local love. I can't bolster a whole world of miscreants (and I use that word with reverence). BUT, I can love locally, within my arms reach, within the sound of my voice.
Someone asked about the fees I would charge to cut up the tree. Opportunity. "I don't work for money." My gaze is clear and my voice serious. They realize I am (for once) not joking. No one is sure how to respond. That's okay. A splinter like that takes time to work in.
Doing some informal polling, I find folks struggling with a sort of a heavy viscosity in life. Fatigue, aches and pains flaring up this week. Me too. A thickness, sticky muddiness, an apathetic annoyance maybe. My gal was really struggling yesterday.
ONE of my best tenets is "better to survive a bad time than thrive during a good one"--that is, when energies are lively, one is "on", things are progressing--of course we have some epic days, memorable, exciting, productive. Wonderful. BUT, if we can hold our heads up, maintain our dignity, our balance, our center during the tricky bits--THAT is an accomplishment.
Well done, Zen-man, you've turned a bit of blog drudgery into something of substance.

Yesterday was tough. Strong day for "ascension symptoms"? Achy joints, the feeling of nails being driven into the tips of my toes. Lethargy, fatigue. Dragging myself around. Pining for horizontal unconsciousnes. You know the drill.
Could be heavy mass coming in from the sun. OR just one day to make the others better. There has to be a nadir in order to have an apex.
I have been having a lot more visuals lately. Lots of flashes that make me turn around and wonder. Little visual swimmers in my peripherals, more often. I think we have a tendency to evaluate all this with our BRAINS in 3D rather than with hearts in a space of love.
Brass tacks: We as a species have been doing some irresponsible stewardship of our planet, agreed? WE intend to clean up our mess. WE repent and try a new way. RIGHT? Well...
Within the last few years we've had some whoppers of casualites--and I am talking about strictly man-made ones. The Gulf oil gusher (deepwater horizon) has fundamentally changed the gulf of mexico. The corexit is a still unknown quantity.
NUCLEAR (only one "u", George) power is a bust. That's been a biggie for me because I was a disciple of the same for a while. BUT it's just not worth it. For one thing, there is no way to build a plant without a heat sink. This means a lake, a river or an ocean. So we plop all this potential poison right on the banks of our lifesource--does that seem wise?
Then there are the political aspects, nuclear power is tantamount to magic to most people. Black magic to many. So feared is the waste that we ignore it. More good ole Amerikan cognative dissonance. Spent fuel never leaves the site, it just goes into a high-tech pit. WORSE, it's a "temporary" pit. Until we can all agree in whose backyard we'll put the amazing toxin. We've been discussing where for fifty years now.
AND really the damage is done isn't it? Fukishima is three Chernobyls, as I see it. AND those are just the tip of the iceberg. IN addition to the two weapons dropped on Japan by the US. Hundreds of weapons have been detonated all over the world in the name of testing. IN land, air, water.
"The solution to pollution is dillution." That is straight out of my Nuclear training. IF you have ten gallons of highly radioactive water, say ten times the legal limit, what to do? Well, if the limit is x curies per gallon, we can just add an additional thousand gallons and THEN it will be less then the limit. Dump it overboard, we met the standard. Hmmmmm...
Nope. That abomination that causes desolation is still "out there"--it only takes one mutation to Godzillafy a DNA.
THIS is a very powerful film. I got out of the navy in '86 so I never knew the inside story of Chernobyl. It's still there, the mess hasn't gone away. The sarcophagus they built has five years left on it. Ukraine doesn't have the money to build ANOTHER containment. OOPS, the world has more debt than it does money. Tap, tap, tap...problem...

I posted a blog yesterday for people in Australia, Asia New Zealand included. Today New Zealand just had an earthquake close to 7. - Please people around these areas be prepare or cautious, have things ready in case of anything. Again I am not trying to spread the fear or terror at all, but please people take care of things!!!
In my blog I mentioned I had visions last year about Australia and the surrounding areas and Mega Earthquakes, these days I confirmed them with a colleague psychic who felt the same thing.

Beloved family,
I usually dont send any fear blog related, but my visions and predictions of other worldwide events plus my colleagues confirmations have put me in this position to advise my brothers and sisters in Australia and Asia to please be cautious and prepare of a mayor emergency. Have things ready to move with your family. There is a mega earthquake coming something very big. Please I apologize if this blog may sound with fear, I am not trying to make anyone feel bad in any way. I just wanted to prevent people from suffering anything.
I am not trying to put fear either and I rather look bad than not say anything. All I can say is to please pray, send healing, but mostly ask for each person's safety if this is coming.
This weekend there was a small tremblor, but it is just the beginning.
I am sorry again for this, please take your precautions!!!

Here is where my little internet free camping vacation will begin. :)
I'm going camping for 4 days this morning, starting in 45 minutes, so you can find me in blue tent surrounded by green loving trees.
I'm traveling three hours by car with my husband, mother and her boyfriend to where I use to live 6 years of my life, that happens to be attached to a camping site and cabin area. This is a place I visit year, it's wonder.
Satakunta is known to be strong area with ancient lines of finnish merchants and kings and places that were considered by sacred geomatry, well sacred.
When I return there shall be new pictures!

On March 6th 2011 I wrote a blog entry called THE HAIR, THE HEAD AND THE BLOOD STREAM where I wrote:
On that note I am considering stopping dyeing my hair - which is a much bigger issue of vanity ( can't imagine I know a lady who would disagree that dyeing is done due to vanity ) and much harder to do. I recall I spend four months not dyeing my hair until I couldn't take it any longer and gave in.
Of course there is the organic way and brands, but how is that any different when you get down to the point of vanity and altering your looks?
Why do I need to look different, or specifically be a certain tone of brunette?
Spiritually speaking I do not see any need for that.
Vanity's point of view is different of course! Finns are known to have this interesting hair color in the shade of ash. Yep - not really pretty under the current standards, where colors are pure and dark and hair needs to be glossy. I recall a hairdresser telling me how my normal hair color was a pretty brown but just dull and not glossy. I didn't think much of it then, and agreed - but I bloody well want to like my own hair! If it happens to be the color of field mouse then be it, it doesn't change anything about me, doesn't change who I AM.
Alright I dare you, Niina, to not dye your hair for a year. To use organic shampoo & conditioner and not spray your head with chemicals.
I would like to not dumb myself down with product of vanity, not lose interest and to be lighter just by knowing I am doing the right thing by my body. I'm ready to enjoy this adventure of a life organically, just as my body was created without messing with the basics. Now a nice shirt or pair of shoes is enough of a decoration!
Now it has been few days till 4 months since I stopped dying my hair, and I feel so different, not just look but feel as well.
I recently took up the organic herbal shampoo and conditioner as well, and that has made a huge difference, I felt it first wash on. So the picture on the right there that is my current hair color, though sun is pretty much bleaching my roots now - I love it and I feel much better.
I did though have a rough time with it the first 2 months, it was driving me mad by looking like I constantly had greasy hair due to my roots being lighter than my hair.
I recommend this to all who dye their hair, go without its great and gives you a clearer head ;)

I really did decide 3½ years ago to stop watching news and reading news online because they caused me pain, I've always been an empath so watching anyone in pain isn't what I want to do on my free time. At that time I also stopped on of my other mind numbing activity which was to care a rat's ass about celebrities, who did what, who got together, who broke up, who designed what, and so on...
Now it was truly a life changing decision - I quit my old job few months later feeling more empowered. Got a new job. It was perhaps a year or close to two after that that I first tried to stop watching TV, except for documentaries on nature, space and religion which I found informative. It lasted about a year, and then the beginning of this year when I was feeling the spring blue for two months I started watching TV again, this time online.
I have been on that slip ever sense, but I think it's time again to wean myself off TV. I've noticed how when I come back from work my mind is still active but just 30 minutes of watching TV on my computer and I feel sluggish, drained and tired. I feel as if work has tired me so completely but perhaps it's wise to look at TV as a reason - so I will experiment!
I will spend a week wholly without TV - oh wait, this sort of can't be very accurate experiment as I stop working in two days. :) Oh well, I am still stopping TV staring again, no more Doctor Who, How I Met Your Mother, Mentalist and Movies. This should actually be fairly easy break as my week is as follows:
Wednesday = Work
Thursday = Work
Friday = Off to go camping
Saturday = Camping
Sunday = Camping
Monday = Camping
Tuesday = Finishing up camping
After tomorrow I don't even have access to a TV, as TV is not a part of Camping, so this should be fairly easy break from IT, that just need to uphold.
Now for computer TV watching, I will still watch spiritually meaningful youtube videos, I think that's produced with more consciousness and meaning well, other than TV that has quite a bit of bad rap under its carpet.
You might have also noticed I said I'm going camping for Midsummer! I am!
I do not know if me taking the change to not go camping because of thunder storms so well the thunderstorm warning been lifted off Satakunta and we decided to go camping again. Which I am so happy about!
Talk about that Change in my week's beginning Tarot. ;)
Just 2 more days of work and I get to go camping in nature and so begins my 5 Week Summer Vacation! Hooray! :)

I just will wait to figure out what I am writing about until it gets rolling.
I guess Schrodingers cat. ONE mouth two trumpets. Possibility and actuality. Quantum states.
OR I could wax philisophical about the birds and the trees again...
So, here we are in existence. For the sake of clarity we'll assume a closed universe. For now. Time is a highway we proceed down.
IN NOW we see an infinite set of possibilities. Imagine here and now as a point, zero dimension. IN the direction of time (that way) lie that field of infinite possibilities. I AM uses freewill to choose. NOW, all those potentials neck down from a volume of singularities. Before our choice, a wide open volume of potentials, at our choice--a singularity.
Freewill has chosen. The former infinite has been coaleseced (sp?) into one singularity.
Picture a trumpet horn backwards. From the open air into the horn, down to the mouthpiece. Okay...
BUT that was then, this is NOW. And the same mouthpiece opens up to a new horn. FROM that singularity, infinite possibilities.
So now we have this single mouthpiece, flaring out to two horns--one in the past, one in the future.
WAIT. IF the horn truly fans out to include all possibility, then it includes the potentials of the past as well as the future. Bear with me...
SO, take the two horns, the openings and continue to expand them, to a point that they have folded back to meet each other. IF you can picture it, a torus. I AM is the zero dimension at the center, time is the axis, the potentials have melded into one volume. ONE field of potentials past and present.
AS we continue to expand our consciousness, the torus radii expand to include all that is. That torus is a sphere, containing all that is, with I AM residing comfortably right there in the middle. Always. And time is irrelevant because a sphere has infinite axes.

WASHINGTON -- Scientists are predicting that the sun is heading into an unusual and extended super quiet mode. Around 2020, sunspots may disappear for years, maybe decades.
But scientists say it is nothing to worry about. The effects from a calmer sun are mostly good. There'd be fewer disruptions of satellites and power systems. And it might mean a little less increase in global warming.
It's happened before, but not for a couple centuries.
Scientists at a solar physics conference in New Mexico unveiled their prediction based on sunspot activity, magnetic field strength and a disappearing solar jet stream.
The prediction is specifically aimed at the solar cycle starting in 2020, but experts say the sun has already been unusually quiet for about four years.

As there was a great Coronal Mass Ejection from the Sun three days ago, I thought I'd post my experiences from yesterday, as yesterday should have been the peak day of the "download".
Why do I say download? There are many people, but in grand scale few, who study the sun and its solar maximum and minimum cycles and see what historical events correlate with those. Some men have come to believe ( perhaps you'll find their names here ) that when the Sun releases particles during CME and flares that effect our body, changing the so called settings in us.

So let's move on to yesterday, Monday.
Yesterday was the day that the effects of the Saturday’s CME (coronal mass ejection) we felt in the electromagnetic field of earth, and us, the people. Of course thanks to our planet's magnetic field we never get the full blast of the update but share it planet earth.
On Sunday I had a wonderful day of realizing that my ego was on my spiritual path with me, blocking me subtly from enjoying the Light with trying to educating myself on the information of spirituality. ( the entry HERE )
What I decided on Sunday was to make Monday a Day of Light - not just Monday but the rest of my life. The things was I was worried of what work would be when my focus was Light, decided I won't worry about it as I had intuitive knowledge it would be absolutely perfect for my work, but still my ego was trying to worry me with image of me having to quit my job to enjoy the Light. Well-- it just happens Monday was 1-0 for Niina. ;)
I woke up, lying in bed I opened my eyes and chose that today was going to be light filled, the most blissful, happiest day where I give the universe the open field to manifest through me. On a side note I said the same thing this morning. My day that followed was amazing, the most calm, serene, happy one - usually I am at least twice or thrice stressed when the children at work get into arguments and screaming - it seemed my attitude was rubbing off on them.
I noticed how I was fully present in all the actions I did, with the child I was with. It seemed a fully different experience from last week. I do not know how much of this has to do with the CME but I am not so proud to say I give it no credit of Sunday and Monday and the change at the core of me.
The Universe, it's planets and stars are more mysterious than we give them credit for - just because we can see them and guess upon them doesn't mean all is known and understood about them, ask that of any scientist and they'll agree. This existence of ours... much more amazing than meets the 15% usage capability of our brain.

The Vikings, according to Viking Sagas, also made some raids into Tavastia. Here is an account of Olav the Holy raiding the coast. This may be either in Tavastian or "Finnish" territory:

ILLUMINATI DESPERATE REGARDING CHRIST GRID

The Christ grid is now up in the EMF (electromagnetic field) of the planet, a reality that had alarmed Lucifer’s ground adepts no end. I had visions of the divine energy grid after my 2008 spiritual ascension, and made some inspections of it via my Light Body in 2009. I am very confident that no force whatsoever can destroy this cosmic grid.
Creating the Christ grid was no easy task for the spiritual Hierarchy. In fulfillment of the task, thousands of Buddhas and Christs were sent forth down here across the eons that passed as Earth fell down to 3rd dimensional state. The Buddhas and Christs were respectfully assisted by masters of wisdom and innumerable chelas of theirs role-playing Light helpers.
One sublime result of the efforts of the Ascended Host down here was the successful erection of the Christ grid. With this energy grid now fully in place, a leap in consciousness was enabled, thus accelerating the generation of more ‘service for others’ or SFO Terrans who will populate the New Earth post-2012. Terra herself is ready to move up to the next dimension, enabled further by the energy grid.
We could just imagine how distraught are the dark adepts over the new development. Already sadly mourning the termination of Lucifer for over two decades now, and awaiting the further deprogramming of other evil masters, here comes another phenomenon that they can’t manipulate and control to their advantage.
The dark adepts, whom I refer to also as ‘lizards of odd’, better face the reality that the Christ grid is outside the ambit of their destructive agenda. They can never do damage to any part of it, more so to destroy it, so they may as well resign to the fact that the cosmic grid is now accelerating the generation of new Light workers & helpers, and undercutting further the reptilian influence of the ancient genetic make-up of homo sapiens sapiens that they manipulated in the ancient past.
The Christ grid also serves an added function to the Gatekeepership councils of the spiritual Brotherhood (see separate article on the gatekeeperships). The Lord Metatron had implanted extra energy sub-grids on Terra’s EMF, the function of which is for stabilization and neutralization of attacks by the Illuminati/NWO such as super-storms and super-quakes (induced via HAARP or Tesla Earthquake Machine). All that a gatekeepership council (it has 12 White Robes each) does is to conduct collective focused meditation on the sub-grids and the Christ grid, and use the magnified power of that collective meditation to scale down catastrophic events.
Take the case of Manila and Singapore, cities that were on the agenda of the NWO for destruction via the Tesla quake machine. The gatekeepership councils in the region simply collaborated to focus hyper-magnified energies in the said cities during the scheduled attacks (they have come to pass), thus assuring the non-destruction of both cities. The magnificent cities are still standing tall till these days, aren’t they?
Across the other regions of the globe, the NWO also has catastrophic agenda on schedule, many of which were also effectively scaled down and/or neutralized by the Brotherhood’s gatekeepership councils in those respective regions. Now that thousands of White Robes were already fully ascended (their physical bodies already ascended), they can work full time on their gatekeepership tasks, unhampered by the Earthly life that they used to live.
Cognizant of the new reality of the Christ grid that is beyond their control, the ‘lizards of odd’ have been devising ways to generate narratives about it. They have fanned out underlings and paid propagandists whose tasks are two-fold: (a) seize the initiative in creative writings about the grid and then subtly distort the content of the stories; and, (b) dismiss the Christ grid as a mere mythology of lunatics and psychotics or not worth an intelligent person’s attention.
The propagandists in charge of those tasks are disguising themselves as Lightworkers who are supposedly tasked with multiple missions to tap the grid supposedly for beneficial purposes. They present themselves as channelers who are receiving messages from Metatron, Sananda, Michael, and other divine Hierarchs, entities that are actually Dark Masters located in 5th density disguised as Ascended Masters.
Such dirty operators are now very active in the New Age and Lightworkers’ social networks, each one maintaining as many as couples of accounts. Their identities are of course hidden in pen names or code names, their accounts thus used to fabricate lies about their being Light workers. They openly slander, denigrate, and malign the White Robes and seekers who are present or active in the same social networks, sometimes using verbiage that is utterly vulgar and demonic.
At any rate, as of this writing, there are just a year and couples of months to go before the 2012 event. Awareness leap is happening for millions of starseeds and evolved Terrans, a fact that the evil lizards can no longer stop. The dark operators are only compounding the deadweights of their karmic debts with their destructive slanders and black propaganda against the genuine Light workers, debts that will find commensurate payment upon Judgement Day of 2012.

Hi dear hearts of light,
today i felt a major shift and huge amounts of energies releasing and comming in to our world from the cosmos during the med and they went realy through the roof.
Now at 12 o'clock i heared that there has been a major eruption from the vulcano on ijsland.
They reported that there are major energies releasing because they see thousends of lightningbolds above the vulcano, that means that the eruption is verry intens.
Wow i thought, so that is what i felt today ariving, releasing and shifting, i truely was blown away by this news.
I was guided today with the med towards spain and europe and the largest part of the time i focused on europe with releasing, transmutating and transforming the stagnant energies there.
We as a group where jusing the violet flame of transformation and transmutation, the green flame of abundance and the white flame of ascension.
I don't know it for shure but i believe that the juse of those powerful flames combined did trigger this release of the energies in ijsland so that there will be room for the new energies that are ariving from source here on earth.
Wow what a privilige and honour it is to be here on earth and to work with such powerful energies and to co-create with each other and mother earth on this ascension and awakening.
I am verry thankful and greatful and verry honoured that i and we may work with these energies that are so powerful and have such a huge influance on Mother Earth.

It’s a huge moment, and we’re very privileged, actually, to be part of that moment, and to speak to it, not from the White House, not from D.C., but from our sense of what people are searching for.

Do you ever eat when you feel stressed, overwhelmed, sad, lonely, hopeless, angry, confused, lost, or even bored? Do you sometimes (or quite often) use food to suppress/ numb that pain you feel or use it in attempt to fill some void you feel through not (essentially) connecting to the heartspace and creative, spiritual self? I share my personal experience with emotional eating, why I feel I did it, and share some of the ways I worked through these issues. Of course there are going to be different reasons for why people eat emotionally, but for the majority of people, it usually comes down to one or more of the following:
Not being in alignment with your passions/ having a stressful job- Believing you can't pursue a career that is in alignment with your passions and support yourself financially.
Not knowing how to manage emotional pain/ stress in a healthy way.
Not speaking your truth/ suppressing who you really are in some way.
Feeling bored and entertaining yourself with food.
Trying to escape or distract yourself from your problems with food.
Being a very sensitive/ empathic person and feeling completely overwhelmed with life on this planet, and not knowing how to nurture your sensitivity/ protect yourself from the harshness.
Having an overall feeling of stress and anxiety, which could be for a myriad of reasons, but when it comes down to it, it's a disconnection to the heartspace.
Feeling a void within- Not even knowing who you are, what you're truly passionate about (feeling disconnected) because of the influences from the media, education system, food & "disease-care" industry- ie. processed foods, fluoride, pharmaceutical drugs like prozac- aka. Perhaps having experienced something really traumatic, and using food to try to suppress/ numb that pain you still feel. Whatever the reason is, I feel that some of the things I talk about in this video can help you to some degree.
BTW, make sure to look into "Emotional Freedom Technique" as it is one of the (many) holistic healing modalities that helped me to work through my emotional eating, and I feel it can be very helpful. You can use this technique whenever you feel the need to suppress your emotions with food, or have a craving for some food that you know is not in your best interest. It's also fantastic for helping people to release fears and limiting beliefs. I would say to at least give it a try. Calling All People to Remember the Origins and Stop Fighting the
Love…
Biophilia (Bio=Life, Biology; Philia=Love)- : a hypothetical human tendency to interact
or be closely associated with other forms of life in nature
Most people have no idea what this word means or how important it is as to how humans and
society evolved. People forget that we too are part of a larger living system, an ecosystem, a
biosphere, and share this world with other living things from microbes to plants, animals, fungi,
etc. Over human’s time on Earth, we have lived in very close contact with other organisms and
understood them, sometimes better than ourselves. To me biophilia isn’t hypothetical at all. I
have lived in a rural setting my entire life, and know the smell of changing seasons before the
calendar tells me, I know when the horses start to go to bed, and can feel the trees and grasses
come to life before the sun rises. I have a sense of place and have not forgotten where my food
comes from or how small I am in the biological big picture.
Human’s live in such a mobile world these days, but less than 100 years ago it took months to
get Europe or even weeks to go cross-country, but with the advent of airplanes, we can take
a nap and wake up in a different geographic region with a different history and a different
biological story. This makes us think in the temporary. If we don’t like where we are for the
most petty (or rational) of reasons we just move and have little second thought about where
we really are or where we are really going. This technological world full of material ambitions
disconnects us from our foundation: the Earth and all the other living, breathing things on it.
People forget that every raw material we use to make everything comes from the Earth; even
plastic and other “inorganic” chemicals or materials. We as a “productive” species are limited
by what the Earth gives us. Even with food and agricultural products people seem to forget that
it comes from the Earth, trees and other living things. Unless a person actually grow his or her
own food, and sometimes even then, he or she can lose the connection between where the food
originates and how he or she gets it… in a store and/or restaurant.
In domestication, people made a contract with other organisms and ourselves to promote the
well-being of all parties involved. Many domestic species would not be alive today had humans
not made this contract with them, some such being the Horse (Equus caballus) or Cow (Bos
taurus), and the list goes on. Even the Dog, Cannis lupus familiaris, aka Cannis familiaris,
would not be with us, but lost somewhere in the genetic potential of Cannis lupus lupus (the grey
wolf). We made the dog.
Moreover, many people hate the idea of consuming a GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms)
because of the sci-fi implications, but forget that a huge percentage of the corn they consume
from Corn syrup to boxed items containing corn or corn byproducts are made with BT corn
(Bacillus thuringiensis corn, a corn cultivar derived from inserting a bacterial toxin gene into
the DNA of the corn making it more resistant to insect predation). Also they forget that half of
the organisms and/or cultivars of plants we eat are far from the way nature made them, due to
selective breeding over several generations, which is an early form of Biotechnology and Genetic
People like to think that they are not involved in the natural ecology of the planet they live in but
due to the biophilia component, and the contract of domestication, people are, and always have
been. We are the Keystone species of this planet, dictating what will survive and what won’t.
All I ask is that people accept the fact that they are connected on multiple levels with the roots of
biology and not above the natural order of connection. We are meant to survive, and at first we
realized we couldn’t do it alone as a single species. Remember that, love that… Be biophilic.
Pesticide Pollution and Other Problems in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and San Francisco Estuary

Introduction:
When the Spanish first saw the Sacramento-San Joaquin delta in the 1770’s, it was a vast lively marsh (Department of Water Resources). Later unsuccessful 49ers began to build levies to farm the “swamp-like” land having not gained the wealth that the propaganda of the time promised (Department of Water Resources). Today about 2/3 of California‘s irrigated farmland depends on the delta resulting in the Delta water being an important economic component in California’s largely agricultural economy. This poses questions about the actual economic value of the delta beyond the ecological. It is well known that California has the 5th largest overall economy in the world (Department of Water Resources), which makes this a Natural Resource Economic issue. The Delta serves “the Bay area, the Silicon Valley, the San Joaquin Valley, the Central Coast, and Southern California” (Department of Water Resources). Many people in the deltaic region of California will agree that the delta is in need of help to restore the natural ecosystem for the recreational value of the delta and for water quality issues. Furthermore with all the people relying on the delta for water supply, the scary news is that the population of the entire San Joaquin Valley is estimated to double by 2040 (Bender).
The San Joaquin Delta is one of the most important water ways in California and one of the more unique in the world. It feeds the aqueous needs of more than 20 million Californians and more than 4.5 million acres of agricultural land/industry, in fact 50% of deltaic water is diverted all over the state for various anthropogenic uses(Save the Bay). Let alone there being a huge economic/human reliance on the delta but the Sacramento-San Joaquin delta is a very unique and degraded estuary/marshland/ecosystem. Pollution, particularly anthropogenic and/or agricultural/industrial, is a major problem for the delta. Pesticides, fertilizers, human waste, surfactants, livestock waste, irrigation runoff, mining and other industry are just a few of the reasons for pollution. Most people haven’t historically paid attention to the ecological impact of developing the delta marshland into hospitable living space for residential, commercial, and particularly and primarily, as in the first, agricultural use, let alone the impact of these anthropogenic uses.
There are several rivers that make up the SSJ (Sacramento-San Joaquin) delta/San Francisco Estuary. Much of the freshwater feeding the SSJ delta comes from the Sacramento River from the north and the San Joaquin River from the south (Save the Bay). These rivers reach nearly 700 miles inland creating a “watery maze of wetlands, mudflats, and farmland (Save the Bay).” There are some sanctuaries available for the remaining wildlife but with the degradation of the natural wetland that the entire Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley once used to be, much of the natural endemic wildlife is being pushed out but invasive species including humans and their needs from the land. Millions of creatures use the delta as a habitat throughout the year. As a result of the SSJ delta being so important to many organisms, including humans and the Californian economy.

Delta preservation efforts are focused on keeping 22 million people drinking water and watering $27 Billion dollars worth of commodities in the valley to promote the economy rather than preservation of ecology.
The ecological health of a Water System or any Natural Resource system that is providing Natural Services is very important. People traditionally have seen the biosphere as inexhaustible, and only in recent decades have we began to understand that we actually live in a fairly closed system and that an ecological-sink for our wastes will eventually fill up and flood other places we don’t want filled. A healthy person with a healthy liver can consume quite a bit of alcohol before becoming fatally ill, but someone of lesser health with a weaker liver may only be able to consume half of what the healthy person can, and this is true for an ecosystem.
Economists are always looking at the bottom line, and if it seems economically viable to deal with a problem immediately as opposed to waiting they will suggest to do so, however the ecosystem, a living thing in essence, sometimes need preventative care to maintain function and often those functions are not quantifiable by the “normal” economic model. Now, we back to the science.
Sacramento - San Joaquin Delta Issues Before Pesticides
The San Joaquin Delta is an important Californian water Resource in multiple respects. The delta for centuries has been the culminating last stop for many rivers and inland water systems in central California before it enters the Pacific Ocean. Before the presents of humans the delta went about business as a normal marshland/estuary, supporting a plethora of wild organisms from grizzly bears, antelopes, tule elk, blacktail dear, plant life and other aquatic wildlife (Shaw). Now, with its ideal and productive soils, and the accessibility of water it has become overrun with Agricultural Industries and is facing newer threats of even larger levies and development with California’s growing human population leaking over from the Bay (Bender).
Many of the rivers leading to the delta are used to fill the California Aqueduct and supply farms and residents in the Valley with water that once went to the delta (Bender). This creates a very specific problem. The delta now, no longer always has the ability to keep the saline waters from the ocean out, disrupting the quality of the soil around the delta’s mouth, which also pushes endemic wildlife back away from their more natural habitats (Lee). Another issue is the seepage of agricultural waste, especially Fertilizers and Pesticides (Lee). The pesticides, herbicides too, kill some species and create new issues for some other species beyond killing their food source, such as disrupting reproduction in fish and birds decline their number father. The fertilizers also tend to have adverse affects on species causing mutations among other problems. The specific issue with some fertilizers is that it fertilizes the natural algae in the delta causing algal blooms and deoxygenation of deltaic waters (Lee). This suffocates many aquatic species by creating quasi or complete dead zones (Lee). Another municipal issue is human waste matter that ends up in the SSJ delta (specifically from Stockton). This increases ammonia in the waters, which also kills more fish and other organisms(Lee). Ultimately these disturbances have economic impacts that at the time go unseen, including the loss of many fisheries that once used the natural resources of food matters for their fish (Lee).
Furthermore with the high nutrient levels from runoff and fertilizer contamination and nitrogen pollution in the Delta there is an overabundance of algae and delta weeds such as Hyacinth (Lee). Moreover algal blooms decompose it causes a depletion in Oxygen (Lee). This causes problems with fish and the oxygen depletion is then aggravated by the pumping of water out of the Delta in Tracey and Banks and from wastewater pollutants like ammonia from Stockton (Lee). Making things grimmer, invasive species like the Asian clam also have taken fish food sources decline (Lee). So to culminate some of the things killing fish-food sources in the delta, they would be chemical pollution, hypoxia, salinity, and competition with invasive species. It is no wonder that there aren’t many fisheries on the delta anymore as there were about 20 years ago (Lee). As elsewhere discussed in this paper some of these pollution forms interrupt fish reproduction and homing abilities of certain kinds of fish by disrupting their olfactory sense (Lee).
Reach of Pesticides
Most of the problems seem to come from agricultural pesticides, fertilizers, industry and anthropogenic water consumption. Many of these problems were discovered in the 1980’s. At this time a lot of agricultural reforms began and a new surge of technology began to change agriculture and resource management by leaps and bound. Agriculture uses a lot less water now than it did 20 years ago (Bender) as the industry has undergone water reform.
Pesticides are a big problem. In 1995, it was projected that 113.5 million kg of pesticides were used to control pests on some of California’s leading crops, and 20% of all pesticide used came from local home owners (Lydy). This is a relatively terrifying fact, considering how much emphasis is placed on farmers to cut back. From 1940-1970 some of the pesitcides used included various organochlorides like DDT, lindane, chlordane, toxaphene, and dieldrin (Lydy). These have accumulated in the biomass of the delta and frightenly are still present in substantial quantities in fish and other organisms although some of these have been banned for years (Connor). Many of these organochlorides are carcinogenic to bird and cause issues with nesting, like DDT in egg-shell development (Lydy).
Organochlorines (like DDT, Chloradane, Dieldrin, etc.), PCBs, Dioxins/Furans, and Mercury bio-accumulate in fish and other organisms as well. Organophosphorus-based insecticides, Diazinon, Chlorpyrifos also introduce issues with Fish-food Organisms (Lee); bioaccumulation is a major issue with many of these natural organisms. Certain herbicides have been at times found at high enough concentrations in the delta to be toxic to algae (Lee). Moreover the high concentrations of Trihalomethanes in the Delta Waters in addition to high TOC (total organic carbons) are so high that water it costs water treatment plants more money to clear up the water for human consumption (Lee), let alone ecological impacts.
The delta as a water source for humans in the form of ground water face another issue with the saline contents particularly in the south delta has hampered the delta’s ability to recharge groundwater supplies there. Mining of mercury and gold over that past 2 centuries has yielded increases in many heavy metals in the deltaic soils and therefore in the waters too (Pasternack). Many of these heavy metals have accumulated in delta organisms. Some chemicals other than heavy metals are detrimental to even human consumption of delta water such as human pharmaceuticals, personal care products, endocrines, trihalomethanes, perchlorates, and polybrominated diphenal ethers (Lee). These chemicals affect ecosystem services like replenishing ground water and drinking water is a big concern for human ecology. Ground water alone provides near or more than 39% of Californians’ water usage (Lam). In turn all of these pollutants don’t only cost humans financially by having to clean up the water for drinking, but it destroys ecosystem services.
There are programs to help inform people of the delta. Regional Monitoring Program (RMP) for Trace Substances is a program designed to outline many environmental issues (Thompson) and is also applicable to the delta. The purpose of this RPM is to help with the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board by describing patterns and trends of contaminant concentrations and distributions, describe sources, pathways and loadings, measure contaminant effects on selected parts of the estuary, compare monitoring information to relevant water quality objectives and other guidelines, and lastly to synthesize and distribute information on contamination of the estuary (Thompson). The RPM sampling is good for measuring contaminants in the water, the sediment, toxicity, and bioaccumulation in bivalves and fish in San Francisco (SF) Estuary and the SSJ delta. What they found in the SF estuary in 1994-1997 was that the concentrations of mercury, PCBs, total DDTs, total chlordane and dieldrin exceed water control objectives (Thompson). Bioaccumulations of contaminants as seen in the RPMs were also found to be high enough in fish that they resulted in human exposure through consumption of fish (Thompson).
There are multitudes of ways to analyze pollution in the delta. Organic chemistry is where it is at since most of the deltaic chemical ailments are organic-based. There are chemicals like mercury, aluminum, and many other inorganic substances that can cause havoc but pesticides, fertilizers and other anthropogenic sources such as surfactants and municipal wastes are the real culprits. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made a decision to phase-out organophosphate insecticides because of their toxicity to humans and replace organophosphates with pyrethoids (a naturally occurring chemical in chrysanthemum) (Mekebri). Pyrethriods are primarily a neurotoxin to insects and enlist the concerns by water control agencies in that they can act as estrogens to certain fish and can be extremely toxic to other aquatic organisms (Mekebri). It seems we are damned if we do or damned if we don’t.
Conclusions:
There are several easements that go toward protecting and rehabilitating the SSJ delta’s habitats and maintaining sustainable agriculture in the general region (Bender). The delta is a very important water resource for California and preservation is of the up most importance. Therefore, preservation efforts are focused on keeping 22 million people drinking clean water and watering $27 Billion dollars worth of commodities in the valley to promote the economy. The pollution in the delta makes things look grim, but the state is doing things to help. The delta, as a major resource has many motives to its maintenance. Economically, if the delta falters, not only will there be a loss in economic productivity, but more people are are going to be sick, and last minute measures to fix and clean up a system that scientists do not fully understand is honestly a bad business investment.
There appears to be no easy fix for chemical pollution in the Sacramento-San Joaquin delta. I would guess that the best way to deal with chemical pollution is to stop polluting, however there is so much chemical out there already with a reach that may be unforeseen. What about the economic impacts and human ecology issues of radical change, economically it would be wise to preserve the delta, but how do you create the figures that would be needed to motivate classically trained economists? There could always be innovations in production or market pressure to try a more “organic” approach to agricultural, but “organic” farming is economically inefficient when competing directly with conventional. So, obviously there are no clear-cut answers to preserving and restoring the SSJ delta and research is obviously needed.
Improvements are always being made, but sometimes that answers we come up with aren’t better than the original problems. Look at the concept of like replacing organophosphate with pyrethoids. Moreover the use of many of these chemicals is very far reaching and last for centuries like mercury contamination from mining in the 1800s.
The issues with chemical pollution in the delta are endless. And I assume that people are somewhat to blame. Humans like other organisms are trying to make their living environment more convenient to their living necessities. People have for centuries have used the Earth’s resources and natural ecosystem services as do other organisms and like many organisms as long as things like population are kept in check the ecosystem is able to recover from the natural degradation that it undergoes through use. However we do not know what our own carrying capacity is. Therefore without applying the principle of general ecology on humans we don’t essentially know much about the result of our presence in this quaintly on this planet using these kinds of resources, and when economics are tossed into the equation we are further handicapped.
Still, there is no sure way to measure exactly how much damage is natural and how much is anthropogenic. We do know that many pesticides and other organic chemicals are our fault. This snapsot offers little as to how to deal with pollutants in the SSJ delta and SF estuary, but it does show some of the sources and some of the chemicals present. It does not go into too much detail as there is much data out there dealing with chemicals in the SSJ delta. California is a big state, the most populous with a formitable economy of its own, but we have been known to be trend setters and innovaters. Our population and economy makes water issues a big deal. Water is a big deal and economic valuable, and therefore restoring the systems that supply it are paramount. But like most issues involved in Natural Resource Economics those are numbers that are hard to quantify. We don’t know how many people the delta can support along with our economic needs that are directly placed on the delta, whether we are aware of that or not. So now that we know how important delta health is to us as living things, can we find a way to economically validate its preservation and restoration, or is that number too abstract for the system of economics?

It is a sign of this collapse that the information sources relied upon by the masses are unable to report the truth anymore and must resort to weaving politically expedient fictions on everything from health care and medicine to the fate of the U.S. dollar itself.
#13 - The ongoing pharmaceutical pollution of our world - Beyond the GMO contamination and the radiation contamination of our world, we are also experiencing the mass pharmaceutical contamination of our planet. How is the human race going to survive its exposure to CT scans, radioactive food, chest X-rays, TSA body scanners and even the secret DHS mobile X-ray vans that can penetrate your body with X-rays as you're walking into a football stadium? The total radiation burden on the human race is now reaching a point of mass infertility. That may be the whole idea, actually.
It's accelerating, too
December, 2012 may be a useful date as some sort of mid-point in the crisis, or perhaps as a trigger date for some further acceleration of society's rapid unraveling. But make no mistake: We are already living in the collapse of our modern world. And you have a front-row seat! (Exciting, huh?)
Think about what's happening around you these days. These are the signs of the last, desperate clutches of a civilization built on utterly unsustainable practices that don't value life on our world. These are the End Times of the corporate oligarchy; the monopolistic for-profit corporation machine that destroyed everything in our world in exchange for a slightly higher quarterly earnings report.
In the quest for more money, humanity has sacrificed its food supply, its pollinators, it's oceans, forests and soils. Greed-driven humans have used other humans as medical experiments and cannon fodder. We have created wars to sell more bombs, and we've invented disease to sell psychiatric chemicals.
These are the practices of a failed civilization... and one whose days are numbered. Watching it all crumble is far more interesting than watching it continue its destructive ways, of course, because those of us paying attention realize a future civilization must rise up in the place of this one after the collapse.
Say goodbye to the false power of institutions
It would be nice if our future leaders remembered the importance of liberty and personal responsibility, of course. The answer to all the world's problems, it turns out, is freedom -- freedom in medicine, freedom in economics and freedom from government tyranny.

Bad government outlawed health freedom and protected the monopolistic practices of the food companies, drug companies and chemical companies.
The downfall of modern human civilization is, as you probably guessed, also the downfall of the very idea that Big Government creates a better society. Because if there's one idea that needs to stay dead after the collapse, it's the idea that We the People somehow need another group of people (government workers) to live off our hard work while hounding us with their false authority, directing every little detail of our lives.
What we need in our world isn't more government, but more freedom. If we had freedom, integrity and personal responsibility, we wouldn't even be facing the global collapse that has already begun. But alas, the human race is an infant species and it must learn some lessons the hard way, it seems.
This lesson should be long remembered: If you let the corporations, the banks and the governments run your economies, your farms and your lives, they will enslave you and steal your future while you sleep; they will inject silent poisons into the very world around you until you awaken one day to find that all you created has been destroyed. They will promise you paradise but deliver only death. Beware of any entity that is not a living person -- no government, no institution, no corporation has a soul, nor a heart, nor a conscience. They are forces of organized destruction that decimate those things we hold dear while delivering to us things that will only enslave us or harm us.
Beware the corporation; the government; the non-profit institution working as a front group for private industry. Never allow yourself to be ruled over by any institution which exists only as a fictional construct organized from the projection of human greed.
And be ready for the acceleration of the collapse. Because if you are reading this, you are the future of the human race. You have a duty to stay alive, keep your genes intact, and be around to help create the Next Society after this one crumbles into history.

years i questioned myself how one belongs to fantasise and how one belongs to dream,
because everybody that i have get to know, doesn't matter who, did say in a certain way to me, "act normal",
when my fantasy or dream doesn't fit in the picture of that persons fantasy or dream.
Because of this i began to think about what normal behaviour is and what normal experience is and how on should experience normal,
because out of the fantasy and the dream grows experience and out of the experience you receave wisdom that
you teach your surroundings and your children and you pass that to your children what you see and find "that is normal",
while the child and someone elses vieuw is a completly different experience vieuw of what's normal.
I know that fantasising and dreaming is creating out of the fantasie and the dream and that is what Is.( All That Is )
Dear hearts fantasising and dreaming is the engine of inspiration to create what the creation does also and waht the creation truly is.

Catastrophic amphibian declines have multiple causes, no simple solution

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Amphibian declines around the world have forced many species to the brink of extinction, are much more complex than realized and have multiple causes that are still not fully understood, researchers conclude in a new report.
The search for a single causative factor is often missing the larger picture, they said, and approaches to address the crisis may fail if they don’t consider the totality of causes – or could even make things worse.
No one issue can explain all of the population declines that are occurring at an unprecedented rate, and much faster in amphibians than most other animals, the scientists conclude in a study just published in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.
The amphibian declines are linked to natural forces such as competition, predation, reproduction and disease, as well as human-induced stresses such as habitat destruction, environmental contamination, invasive species and climate change, researchers said.
“An enormous rate of change has occurred in the last 100 years, and amphibians are not evolving fast enough to keep up with it,” said Andrew Blaustein, a professor of zoology at Oregon State University and an international leader in the study of amphibian declines.
“We’re now realizing that it’s not just one thing, it’s a whole range of things,” Blaustein said.
“With a permeable skin and exposure to both aquatic and terrestrial problems, amphibians face a double whammy,” he said. “Because of this, mammals, fish and birds have not experienced population impacts as severely as amphibians – at least, not yet.”
The totality of these changes leads these researchers to believe that the Earth is now in a major extinction episode similar to five other mass extinction events in the planet’s history. And amphibians are leading the field – one estimate indicates they are disappearing at more than 200 times that of the average extinction rate.
Efforts to understand these events, especially in the study of amphibians, have often focused on one cause or another, such as fungal diseases, invasive species, an increase in ultraviolet radiation due to ozone depletion, pollution, global warming, and others. All of these and more play a role in the amphibian declines, but the scope of the crisis can only be understood from the perspective of many causes, often overlapping. And efforts that address only one cause risk failure or even compounding the problems, the researchers said.
“Given that many stressors are acting simultaneously on amphibians, we suggest that single-factor explanations for amphibian population declines are likely the exception rather than the rule,” the researchers wrote in their report. “Studies focused on single causes may miss complex interrelationships involving multiple factors and indirect effects.”
One example is the fungus B. dendrobatidis, which has been implicated in the collapse of many frog populations around the world. However, in some populations the fungus causes no problems for years until a lethal threshold is reached, studies have shown.
And while this fungus disrupts electrolyte balance, other pathogens can have different effects such as a parasitic trematode that can cause severe limb malformations, and a nematode that can cause kidney damage. The combination and severity of these pathogens together in a single host, rather than any one individually, are all playing a role in dwindling frog populations.
Past studies at OSU have found a synergistic impact from ultraviolet radiation, which by itself can harm amphibians, and a pathogenic water mold that infects amphibian embryos. And they linked the whole process to water depths at egg-laying sites, which in turn are affected by winter precipitation in the Oregon Cascade Range that is related to climate change.
The problems facing amphibians are a particular concern, scientists say, because they have been one of Earth’s great survivors – evolving about 400 million years ago before the dinosaurs, persisting through ice ages, asteroid impacts, and myriad other ecological and climatic changes.
Their rapid disappearance now suggests that the variety and rate of change exceeds anything they have faced before, the researchers said.
“Modern selection pressures, especially those associated with human activity, may be too severe and may have arisen too rapidly for amphibians to evolve adaptations to overcome them,” the researchers concluded.
This work was supported by the National Science Foundation and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Other collaborators on the study were from the University of Colorado, University of Georgia, University of Pittsburgh, and Pepperdine University.

I’m a very open-minded person when it comes to how I, you or anyone else does things. It’s the individual threads that make up the tapestry…But I also enjoy looking at things at their face value, and yes, even as a Girl, making my decisions based on what is there in my face and not on how I might be emotionally pulled.
This blog isn’t necessarily going to be about renewables. See, there’s my emotional pull. Clean Earth, healthy economies. No…This is about what has been front and center lately and is the results of each of your choices over your entire lifetime on how you’ve powered your existence.
Let’s take a look at what you’ve chosen, paid for and used…
We’ll start with oil:
Crude oil is extracted from beneath the ground/ocean floors and sent to refineries to become petroleum products placed in barrels. The world uses an estimated 84 million barrels per day and the U.S. uses about 21 million of them, but produces only about 5.3 million of them.
Oil has become the lube of our lives, used mainly for transportation (fuel). It’s the mother lode substance of over 6000 petroleum-based products, and a much smaller percentage of it is used for electricity production. It’s obviously not considered a renewable source because once it’s pulled from the ground and burned it’s not replenished.
There are 3 techniques used to convert oil into electricity: Conventional steam, where oil is burned to heat water to generate electricity. The next is combustion turbine technology, where oil is burned to produce hot exhaust gases to turn a turbine. And the third is combined-cycle technology, where oil is combusted and the exhaust gases generates electricity, then exhausts are recovered, heat water and turn a second turbine.
Between the drilling, the transport and the refining of oil, quite a few toxic, hazardous and flammable materials are produced that (as we’ve all seen) have had varying destructive degrees of impact the water, ground and air.
Nuclear:
This is good topic right now and one that I’m enjoying learning more about. Uranium is a naturally occurring low-level radioactive element that is mined and extracted from the earth. Mines crush the uranium, grind it and leach it with acid. It’s then separate by ion exchange, dried and packed.
After it’s refined, it becomes a heavy, dense whitish-silvery metal that is softer than steel and malleable. Uranium is an isotope, meaning that it’s a variant of a basic element (it has different numbers of neutrons in its nucleus even though it has the same number of protons, which gives it its atomic number).
U(ranium)-235 (isotope) is fissile and is the one we use to fuel most of our nuclear reactor power plants. When the nucleus of a U-235 atom captures a moving neutron, it splits in two (fission). This expels a couple of neutrons and releases energy in the form of heat. The expelled neutrons then cause other U-235 atoms to split, releasing energy, causing more to spit, and so on. In this a small amount of uranium is used to create a big amount of energy. The core reactor uses fuel pellets placed inside thin metal tubes and assembled into bundles. It is then the “burning” of these uranium pellets that produces heat to make steam to generate electricity.
Nuclear power supplies about 20% of the electricity requirements in the U.S. and does this through 104 reactor power plants. Worldwide there are 443 nuclear reactor plants operating in 47 different countries. Nuclear power is considered both non-renewable and renewable. It utilizes natural resources that can become depleted, but it also utilized itself as a chain-reaction power source.
The environmental and human impact from nuclear energy is pretty serious. Plutonium is a man-made waste product as a result of nuclear fission. It’s radioactive and remains toxic for thousands of years. Nuclear reactors produce what is called “high-level” waste and used fuel that has to be reprocessed or stored (most is stored). It is first stored in cooling ponds at the reactor sites for several years to allow the radioactivity to decay and then the remainder requires isolation from the environment for a long, long time. The most favored method is burial at approximately 500 meters deep in stable geological locations.
Coal:
Coal can be considered “stored energy” in solid form and is extracted from the ground usually in the form of “strip-mining”. Because of the large amounts of coal found beneath the earth’s surface, it has been a cheap and easy way to produce electricity as it is simply crushed and fed into a combustion unit where it’s then burned. The burning of it creates steam which turns a turbine to produce electricity. This is also not considered renewable.
Electricity from coal provides about 48% of the electricity needs in the U.S.
But…Coal power plants are responsible for 93% of the sulfur dioxide and 80% of the nitrogen oxide emissions going out into the earth’s environment and I would gander to say an enormous player in the pollution game. And…because coal has uranium and thorium (both radioactive elements), the waste from a coal-fired plant is also radioactive, only up in the air…
Natural Gas:
Natural gas, like crude oil and coal is considered a fossil fuel and non-renewable as it takes millions of years to be created. It is found in vaporous forms under the ground in reservoirs mostly made of methane which is a hydrocarbon that when burnt, gives off a good deal of energy. To create electricity, the gas is superheated, pressurized in pipes and used to turn turbine engines.
Natural gas provides about between 18 and 23% of the energy used in the U.S. and is considered to be the cleanest of the non-renewable energy sources extracted from the earth.
Environmentally natural gas combustion produces nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxides at about the same pace as coal and about half the CO2 as coal. In combined-cycle power plants, a significant amount of water is also commonly used in the process.
Simple Commonality:
Oil, nuclear, coal and natural gas are pretty much the main energy production methods that we use to power our lives. Renewables are obviously in there and gaining ground with each passing day. But this isn’t about renewables…
Now take a look at a bigger picture. All of the above energy production methods, as usual, end up having some key things in common.
· They are all non-renewable in one form or another. This means they all need heavy subsidizing to continue attaining new source material and cannot ever sustain themselves.
· They all are burned to create heat. Whether it’s oil, coal or natural gas, they are burned in power plants to heat water. With nuclear, chain reaction fission to create the heat.
· They all have waste due to that burning. On various levels of toxicity, oil, coal, natural gas and nuclear all negatively impact planet earth and its people.
· They have, in each industry, provided us with disastrous results lately making me almost embarrassed to think that I have been a complacent part of the equation. A spill of a billion gallons of coal ash waste sludge 6 feet deep, a natural gas line blowing up a couple of city blocks…and people, oil spills dramatically changing our oceans and food source, and radioactive material floating around the world, visiting a neighborhood near you.
To sum it all up…
These have been our choices. They’re not wrong in that they have provided method and means for hugely accelerated growth in so many ways. They’re simply outlived and have mostly gone as far as they will be able to go technologically when considering the results of their use.
It’s time to decide on something new that gives results driven by the idea of life, not decay. What, again, are we afraid of? Last I remember there were a few things: First, we don’t like change. Second, we don’t want to pay more. Third, we don’t want to be inconvenienced and feel like we’re moving backwards to caveman status.
Are you aware how fast clean technology has evolved? Lightspeed…
Renewable energy that can sustain itself without having to dig up too many things Used to come at a lofty price tag with much less efficiency and effectiveness when utilized in the “real world”. It Used to be unable to supply firm power to the grid. It Used to be big and bulky.

Please send your prayers of love and gratitude to water at the nuclear plants in Fukushima, Japan!
By the massive earthquakes of Magnitude 9 and surreal massive tsunamis, more than 10,000 people are still missing…even now… It has been 16 days already since the disaster happened. What makes it worse is that water at the reactors of Fukushima Nuclear Plants started to leak, and it’s contaminating the ocean, air and water molecule of surrounding areas.
Human wisdom has not been able to do much to solve the problem, but we are only trying to cool down the anger of radioactive materials in the reactors by discharging water to them.
Is there really nothing else to do?
I think there is. During over twenty year research of hado measuring and water crystal photographic technology, I have been witnessing that water can turn positive when it receives pure vibration of human prayer no matter how far away it is.
Energy formula of Albert Einstein, E=MC2 really means that Energy = number of people and the square of people’s consciousness.

Después de sufrir el gran terremoto de la magnitud 9 y por efectos devastadores del Tsunami, más de 10,000 personas aún están desaparecidas hasta ahora… aunque ya pasaron 16 días desde el día del desastre. Lo que hace peor en este momento es que el agua de los reactores de la Planta Nuclear de Fukushima empezaron a la fuga contaminando el océano, la atrmósfera y las moléculas de agua que se encuentran en zonas aledañas.
La sabiduría humana no ha sido capaz de resolver el problema, y está tratando solamente enfriar materiales radiactivos que existen dentro de los reactores echando agua fría con mangueras.
¿Realmente no hay otra cosa que podemos hacer?
Yo digo que sí. Durante más de 20 años de investigación sobre las tecnologías de medir Hado y de fotografiar los cristales de agua, he sido incontables veces el testigo de que el agua se transforma en positivo cuando recibe la vibración pura de oraciones de seres humanos no importa cuán lejos estén esas personas.
El verdadero significado de la fórmula de Energía de Albert Einstein, E=MC2 es: Energía = el número de personas multiplicada por cuadrado de sus consciencias.
Llegó el momento de practicarlo. Vamos a unirnos nuestra consciencia para llevar a cabo una ceremonia de oración para el agua como ciudadano de la Tierra. Les pido a todos ustedes, no solamente en Japón, sino en alrededor del mundo, que por favor nos ayuden para encontrar la forma de superar esta crisis de nuestro planeta Tierra.

Après le séisme de magnitude 9 massive et le surréaliste tsunami, plus de 10.000 personnes sont toujours portées disparues ... même maintenant ... 16 jours ont passé déjà depuis la catastrophe. Le pire est que l'eau dans les réacteurs des centrales nucléaires Fukushima a commencé à fuir, et à contaminer l'océan, l'air et les molécules d'eau des zones environnantes.
La sagesse humaine n'a pas été en mesure de faire beaucoup pour résoudre le problème, mais nous essayons seulement de refroidir la colère des matières radioactives dans les réacteurs en évacuant l'eau à leur disposition.
N'y a-t-il vraiment rien d'autre à faire?
Je pense que si ! Pendant plus de vingt années de recherche à mesurer le hado et la technologie des cristaux d'eau photographique, j'ai été témoin de ce que l'eau peut devenir positive quand elle reçoit la vibration pure de la prière de l'homme, peu importe comment elle est loin.
La formule de l'énergie d'Albert Einstein, E = MC2 signifie en réalité que de l'énergie = nombre de personnes et de la place de la conscience des gens.
Il est maintenant temps de comprendre le vrai sens. Joignons-nous tous la cérémonie de prière en tant que citoyens de la planète Terre. I have been feeling emotional. I have been upset about the radiation and wanting to do something, and not sure exactly what to do. I am seeing the situation as an opportunity to learn from and to wake up, to shift collectively to a new place of wiser knowing. On the 3D level, there is fear for survival of humanity, of nature, and of earth.
The people who are drawn to reading this are likely to know that 3D isn't the only level to be looking at things. Any situation can be neutral. It just is, and we can define it how we want..including the threat of nuclear radiation.
Going inside is where I need to be to sort all of this out and move through my fear. We know that fear is paralyzing and creates more in the world. There is a fine line between discerning truth and falling into fear.
When going inside, I connect with my highest self which brings me to a higher state of being immediately. I also felt a need to connect with other inner characters, particularly the inner child. I also sense there is an inner parent, an inner warrior and a sage. The inner child gathers information from the field, from dreams and the non-physical. Right now she is throwing a fit in anger and upset about this. She is freaking out which she doesn't do too often. Something big is up and it is threatening her and everyone. The sage, the warrior, the inner parent and the inner child have a meeting. I first read about these different inner personalities in one of Almine's book, and their existence comes to mind as a way to deal with my current state of upset. The personas within need each other's perspective. The child and the parent gather information from the intuitive side and report to the council. The sage puts the information together from everyone. The warrior is a gatekeeper, who takes action once the sage analyzes the information and figures out what the game plan is. The warrior executes it. Pallas' blog about Hephestomon, her inner gate keeper inspired me to remember the information about the inner warrior, child, parent and sage. (Thank you Pallas!)
What is happening is that my inner child is freaking out. She is very afraid. She is upset. She doesn't know what information is right. "Will this radiation be taken care of?" Her fear is for other humans and animals; for the water, the air and the soil. "Did somebody do this intentionally?" is also in her mind as a question. Why isn't the media paying attention to this? Why are the adult members of the council pushing this under the rug? It makes her enraged and she is throwing a fit at nobody listening to her! The inner parent wants to soothe her and listen to her. She knows that she needs to be calmed while taken seriously. She knows that what the child says is real and needs to be dealt with. Her priority is to calm her child but stay in truth. Meanwhile the warrior is sharpening his blades, wanting to chop some heads because he feels the sense of urgency. He wants to blame, be upset at somebody about this. He wants to protect his beloved child, his beloved Mother Earth. He just isn't sure what action to take yet but is chomping at the bit. The inner parent is soothing everyone. She has fears too, and knows she is to be courageous for the rest during this time. She is a soother, a calmer, a lover no matter what. The sage reads articles on nuclear safety. The sage listens to the child and takes her seriously. The sage agrees that this is important and isn't sure what to do just yet. The sage remembers the feeling of the Tao, of waiting for more information to make a decision, of being in the space in which solutions can come about. The sage remembers the feeling of higher consciousness, and how to get there, in that space which feels better and is also showing a wider view of reality. He/she conveys the feeling of higher consciousness to everyone. Highest self is contacted telepathically. A space of receptivity and being in the heart is chosen.
The council of the Self is toning together as one. I feel the vibration, the vocal toning inside me. I join in. It makes me feel better immediately. Bring other voices to this place, I am told.
Perhaps you want to have a meeting of your higher selves, your inner beings and hear what they have to say. Let them have a voice within and bring them into unity. My reason for doing this was to deal with my fear and to be authentic with what I am feeling. I am less able to push feelings that I am having under the rug. I have to work through them. Let's acknowledge that this is a challenging time and hold one another's hands and work through the fear. Let's call on solutions within. My sage senses the solutions are from the heart. Be in the heart, and in the heart we feel love instead of fear.
The sage isn't sure what to do just yet, as far as taking action! The sage knows that it will be revealed as the answer is asked for. The parent is soothing the inner child and showing her uplifting things, saying uplifting words, and playing with her. Feed yourself with positive things and ignore everything else for the time being. The little one is feeling heard, and feeling better now. She giggles and reminds the adults how to flow and not get stuck in emotions.
The warrior is tapping into how the old way of blame and retribution is a lower state of consciousness and the old way of doing things. There is no 'us' and 'them' anymore. He is to be a lightwarrior. He is to engulf and encompass the dark.
The council of the Self is toning, meditating, sending prayers, sending light, being in a unified higher state of consciousness. The sage has gotten out the Iching and will do a reading of where to go. The inner parent knows that the answer has been asked for and now synchronicity will bring about solutions. The sage knows we need to pull together, and that what is happening in 3D is illusion on some level. Transcend the illusion, transmute your fear, and the collective is doing that now. The sage knows that this is ascension time, in which the chaos will tear systems apart and it will look scary, but from a higher perspective it is just perfect and ultimately everything is okay. The sage knows that this is an opportunity, an opportunity to start doing things differently starting from inside. Our actions in the world can be led by this place of peace within us. First let us get out of the fear frequency and into the solution frequency of higher consciousness, and unity consciousness. That space will lead each of us to know what to do. It is okay if we don't have answers yet. It is okay that we are afraid. The one that we are knows what to do. Each day we evolve faster (as evidenced by the Mayan Calendar) than ever, individually and collectively, so each day we are closer.

Humanity has the opportunity to look at its creations that deplete the environment, threaten the environment, or simply ignore the effects of the world industrial complex on the eco-structure.
As we’ve discussed in the past, the true understanding of the “tribulation” is not when humanity rebels against itself—but the earth rebels against humanity. Just as in your own lives, you must take responsibility for your own creations—and transform and transmute them into the higher good, humanity must take responsibility for its creations and their impact upon the planet.
Some of the recent man-made disasters are a precursor to greater changes in the environment and an opportunity for humanity to re-evaluate the impact and consequences of its behaviors upon the planet before these planetary shifts occur. The failure to learn would ultimately be calamitous; for, when the “real” disasters occur, society’s infrastructure will be far more vulnerable to the earth’s changes and shifts.
The greater disaster in Japan is the nuclear devastation that is, and will, occur. The earthquake and tsunami, in and of itself, would be disaster enough, but long after the hearts have healed, the economy has recovered and the debris has been carried away, the effects of this event will still be present.
What has, or is, humanity learning from these man-made disasters such the Gulf oil spill, Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and the like? In the Gulf, they are concerned about the devastation to the economy and the visible environmental impact—but there is a far worse “cancer” growing slowly and unseen. The waters are poisoned by humanity’s lack of consideration for the environment, and that neglect eats away at the very infrastructure of the planet. Humanity is quick to talk about the infrastructure of its societies, but the planet has an inner structure of inter-dependence that assures the security of all upon the planet.
The earth has always been and always will be in shift. Perhaps these shifts can seem catastrophic and destructive to the planet and its inhabitants; yet, the earth never takes an action that is not for the overall benefit and well-being of those that it cares for. Even the continents and the creatures of this planet are transitory. Each taking their “fifteen minutes” upon the planet to offer their unique expression of the consciousness of All That Is in physical form.
The tragedy is humanity’s lack of consideration for the Earth as evidenced by their destructive and potentially dangerous behaviors that jeopardize the planet’s continual evolutionary process. Be it oil rigs in the Gulf or nuclear reactors upon geological faults, when the earth experiences these normal and natural shifting process, the scars left will directly impact the ability of the planet’s inhabitants to return to a state of normalcy.
The planet has endured these insults and sought to sustain the children it cares for, but the continued self-destructive efforts by humanity weighs down the earth’s ability to provide sustenance and life to her children. Humanity has negatively impacted this planet in more ways than we wish to discuss at this point. But be it from carbon emissions, to nuclear reactors, to the very fact that the water you drink is no longer potable from the rivers, streams and lakes that have been provided to sustain you.
It has often been spoken of a critical mass in consciousness and how that will shift humanity’s awareness—and that will occur. The earth also has a critical mass in consciousness—and when that is reached, the earth must cleans itself in order to survive. When creatures, including humanity, are in harmony and balance with the ever-evolving nature of the planet, there are smooth and gentle transitions.
The earth is shifting, and that is in divine order. Trust that every shift and evolutionary phase upon the planet is a step closer to paradise. There is a belief in your society that without nuclear reactors, carbon emissions or oil rigs in the Gulf, there cannot be the conveniences that much of humanity has become accustomed. Nothing is further from the truth. For when one is in harmony and in balance in its environment, everything that is needed is provided without detriment to the planet or its inhabitants.
The Industrial Age’s use of coal, petroleum, and nuclear energy was an acceptable step in the process of humanity evolving into the awareness of unlimited, green energy sources. What has occurred is that this development has been halted due to the greed and unwillingness of those who have the power and those who use the conveniences they offer to take the next step.
Don’t be scared. Be responsible and conscious of the choices you make. A moment of love directed to the physical plane of existence in which you dwell outweighs many bad decisions directed towards it.
We certainly understand that those who read this concept have heard it all before. The earth is a gentle mother who seeks to guide her children into the paradise she can be. Do you think that paradise has carbon emissions in the atmosphere? Do you think there are oil rigs in the Gulf or nuclear reactors? Yet, do you not believe that the inhabitants of this paradise live in ease and peace? Their needs amply met and their lives non-laborious? Paradise is not out there, it is right here seeking to be discovered and possessed. Humanity must move through this age of greed, control, and exploitation in order to arrive at its ultimate destiny.
The time we speak of is not yet, but it is soon coming. So our loving, caring advice to you, the children of this planet, is to pay attention to the lessons that are being offered so that as you move through the earth changes, you might be water on a still lake rather than waves down a rapids.
This concept is not intended to create fear or confusion but is offered from the perspective of an older sibling seeking to teach the lessons they have already learned. We assure you, there are many worlds and all have experienced the same challenges in different manners to the ones you are experiencing now.
This is the prelude to paradise. Paradise will exist upon your planet but at what price? The choice is yours.
