My dear brothers and sisters of Earth, it is known in all cultures that great significance has been attributed to this time; there is not one among us who is unaware of the myriad speculations about 2012. Let us take this Earth Day and understand the frailty and beauty of this planet and this universe. Regardless of how it became the way it is nor why it is, let us simply take a moment to appreciate that it does exist. No matter what happens there will always be one truth that endures, and that simply is the essence of existence, also the essence of consciousness. May our hearts sing in beautiful harmony together in gratitude, with open arms and naught but love among us. Let us celebrate as family that are all in this together. Forgiveness is the beginning, but it is not the end. Healing is the end. Love is the end. We can start a new journey together of peace and of love if we only start it in our own hearts. Gaia.
Upon reading of a most unlikely channeling to resonate with me I learned something that did. Gaia is just a person. Another soul like ours. It has been ignored for far too long. Worshipped, mined, poisoned, irradiated, defiled, among other things. Ignored not in a direct way as it had all the attention it wanted. Similar to a celebrity wanting to see a REAL friend, not just somebody who is using them. An equal. Someone you would share dinner with at home with grandpa asleep in the living room. I wept to feel the pain Gaia had went through.
I ask all of you who claim channeling abilities to talk with Gaia as a friend if you have not and understand what you have been doing. I guarantee we have ALL done it.

How do you think you would go, living without plastic for 12 months? Well this young Australian mum has done it and is going to continue her plastic free existence. She has saved heaps of money and is saving the environment at the same time. Plastic isn't so Fantastic afterall. I think I will give it a go - afterall - what do we have to lose?????

Recycling
I have been thinking about recycling a lot lately. And feel it would be nice to make some changes, create a system of organization that made a little more sense as far as how things are recycled. For example when recycling perishable food items. Maybe instead of throwing them in the trash with everything else we throw away we could have a designated trashcan just for perishable items which can then be recycled for fertilizer to grow food.
Many people already do this. Yet it would be great if more of us did. Instead of having trash taken to landfills, maybe create local trash centers that trash could be sorted through and better recycled on a smaller scale. I believe this is practiced yet Im not sure of the standards. One trash center per every few square mile radius for example could be a great place to start. Trash can be split into plastics, paper/wood, glass/ceramics, perishable food items and metals. The perishable food items picked up one day followed by paper/wood another day, metals the next day, glass/ceramics the next and plastic the next. Hope that makes sense or get the picture :0)
This way sorting and recycling is easier. Some items are easier to care for than others. I believe plastic is the worst at present to recycle. Yet if we have more local facilities and better organization it could make recycling easier, possibly healthier too. The perishable food items can be turned into mulch which can be used in local food co-ops, local gardens, etc... Also smaller facilities and many of them could rid the landfill situation. If for example you collect glass/ceramic items one day, it would be easier to sort through them and recycle, leaving no need to dump in a huge landfill with more trash collecting waiting to be disposed of.
What would be even better. would be the END of making more/new plastic products and just recycle the plastic laying in the landfills to create plastic products if needed. And in turn go back to using wood, paper, glass, ceramics and metals which are easier to recycle. Basically go back to using more biodegradable products or earth friendly products. Such an idea could possibly create more jobs too. Cleaner communities and more jobs. This could be a good deal!!

During one of William LePar's trance sessions, his spiritual source, The Council gave us the following thoughts on creating a better tomorrow for ourselves. From their perspective, the world in general is in poor spiritual state. However, they believe that just as we can change our futures individually, we can as a group consciousness, change the world, but it first starts with each of us.
The Council: We can only say that it would be our desire to show you a picture that is much brighter than what it is, but unfortunately, if an untrue picture were painted what stimulus would you have in correcting the situation that now exists amongst you all in all countries? As long as the condition can be changed, we will speak of it. It is up to the people of the world to see to it that what it has created for its future does not necessarily have to be. Nothing is predestined. No individual is predestined. Each event in man's future and in his history could have been changed, if he had foreseen early enough. Your future can still be changed. When we spoke to you of what you are and what you can expect to experience once you leave your material bodies, we could speak to you of pleasant things, beautiful things, because no matter how corrupt you may have created your existence, in the hereafter, it will be changed to the proper outlook. Now we do not use the word "corrupt" in a negative form. We use it in the sense of varying from what actually is.
Your physical existence takes more determination, more activity now. Those who are of right mind see the brightness that tomorrow holds by seeing what lays before them today. If there is a ravine that must be crossed and the bridge is in poor repair, if you were to cross it on the morrow, it would necessitate repairing it today; and that is the way your future is. If you are to exist in tomorrow, you must create that state of existence today, the foundation for that existence today. Your abilities as individuals, as individual entities, go far beyond your imaginations. The power that lies within each of you to create a whole new world tomorrow is seldom ever tapped or used. Working through the natural means of your world, you can rid yourself of all that is not harmonious and leads to a happy state of existence, but it depends on the individuals to see to it that the world responds to the wishes of those individuals who occupy the world. Your greatest step to a more positive future is taking a better look at yourself as an individual, an entity that is unique, an entity that cannot be replaced, an entity that has a specific purpose, an entity who adds themselves to the sum total of the whole.

When President Bush came out with the “War on Terrorism” over a decade ago, I was amazed. I kept thinking to myself why not the “War for Peace”?
Besides wars costing tax payers lots of money and destroying the environment, it kills people, innocent people. In fact the majority killed in wars are women and children. Even more disturbing is when children go to war. You look back on Irag and Iran war, Congo civill war, etc... (look at the link below for more). Women and children are not only killed but abused, mentally, physically, emotionally, verbally, on every level imaginable. For the sake of what?
If ADULT men/women want to carry guns and kill one another then maybe they should create an island just for them to do that on. I think the time has come to get rid of the weapons and seriously consider creating a peace with the world, other nations, people in other countries, and our selves.
Some wars are so old too. They have been going on before our children, us and even our parents were born. If I wasn't around to experience it than why am I fighting it? My great dead relatives who were around when it occurred are long gone. And if they are long gone then maybe its time the conflict should be long gone too. Why do we have to carry the burden of those who are deceased. They did what they could. God Bless them for it. But what is in the past should stay in the past. This is the time to create a new future. One where the War is for Peace. And in order to do this we need to love and want peace more. There is a difference between protecting and harming.
So your wondering about those who are in the military. The ones we pay to protect us. I cant imagine why they cant protect us with out killing people. It would be called Diplomacy. If every person in the military had a new role to do such as be a peace ambassador, to protect the peace, to love the peace, to create the peace. Then ....
The innocent have a right to live too. And the dead have the right to rest in Peace.

You got to enjoy it or you shouldn't do it :0) LOL! So I have been thinking about the next topic for years now. And this week I feel is the time to write about it. Hang on to your seats!!!
A friend posted on facebook a recent experience regarding a purchase of a home. Basically she recently purchased a home and the value dropped. Her feelings were, if you purchase a home and it loses value within a year or less of purchasing it, you should be able to refinance to the comp of the dropped value. Needles to say, she is not the only one thinking and feeling this. Im sure many of us feel the same way.
But here is a bigger thought. What I don't understand is why are we paying money for homes? If you look back in history, which seems to be a theme for me lately, homes didn't cost anything. Before the Europeans came to the Americas, the indigenous people didn't buy homes or pay rent. None of our great ancestors did. Native Americans, Mayans, Aztecs, all the tribes of Africa, etc...
Yes, homes produce a lot of money in our economy. And the products we purchase to place in our homes produce a lot for money in our economy too. Yet how is our economy doing? And what is happening to all the homes? Considering so many of us do not have jobs???
We really aren't that intelligent a species if the birds, fish, and mammals aren't paying rent or buying homes. They have homes, and their homes are FREE.
So basically our ancestors and all other creatures are and have been living off the earth for free. Taking what nature has provided, recycling it, trading it, moving it, recreating it.... for free.
There is so much more I would love to write about regarding this topic, but Im just going to leave it at that. Oh, that reminds me, I have a nest of cute birds on the tree in the front yard. I think Im going to have to charge them rent...

I love her work, his theories are very reasonable to my understanding and I love the honest energy he manifest when he speaks out. Hey Friends,
Australia has always been a land of vast contrasts - either it's in drought or flood. Aussies a pretty used to these extremes and take it as part of our natural environment.
However, two floods, two years in a row, is a bit too much - many Queenslander are still recovering from the 2011 'once in 100 year flood' and it looks like it's going to repeat again in 2012 as we speak. It's teaming down, cat's and dogs and a few brown cows thrown in for good measure.
There is no way we can keep our feet dry, we are already witnessing all the signs so similiar to last years catastophe. Also, six cyclones have been predicted during this 'Big Wet' (Oz slang for the Monsoon season), with at least half of them to make land fall.
To give you and idea of what we are currently experiencing, here is a vid uploaded on Youtube, just a couple of hours ago - please excuse the 'rough diamond' commentating lol, but it's the only one I could currently find.

Giving Thanks for the Abundance on Our Earth...
Giving Homage to this Turkey who has shared it's life much like the buffalo...
And for so many on the earth including the native americans and early settlers
here who did suffer, and go to great lengths to traverse the world to arrive
in America and other destinations to start New Life. Turkey was the gift.

It is great story, and movie/ documentary of a Biologist Joe Hutto who makes a remarkable imprint to 19 turkey eggs who become wild turkeys. He "Joe" is their Mother.
It's a great experiment set in the Florida flatlands. His total immersion into the wildlife of this creature is amazing. It was quite remarkable and poignant. He took painstaking care, and patience to carry out this selfless journey, and share his knowledge of the Turkey.

Some 5 to 20 million tons of debris--furniture, fishing boats, refrigerators--sucked into the Pacific Ocean in the wake of Japan's March 11 earthquake and tsunami are moving rapidly across the Pacific. Researchers from the University of Hawaii tracking the wreckage estimate it could approach the U.S. West Coast in the next three years, the UK Daily Mail reports.
"We have a rough estimate of 5 to 20 million tons of debris coming from Japan," University of Hawaii researcher Jan Hafner told Hawaii's ABC affiliate KITV.
Crew members from the Russian training ship the STS Pallada "spotted the debris 2,000 miles from Japan," last month after passing the Midway islands, the Mail wrote. "They saw some pieces of furniture, some appliances, anything that can float, and they picked up a fishing boat," said Hafner. The boat was 20-feet long, and was painted with the word "Fukushima." "That's actually our first confirmed report of tsunami debris," Hafner told KITV.

Researchers from several universities are essentially working as geological detectives, using a suite of tools to piece together the restive peak's past in order to understand what it is doing now, and better diagnose what may lie ahead.
It's a mystery they've yet to solve.
Uturuncu is a nearly 20,000-foot-high (6,000 meters) volcano in southwest Bolivia. Scientists recently discovered the volcano is inflating with astonishing speed.
"I call this 'volcano forensics,' because we're using so many different techniques to understand this phenomenon," said Oregon State University professor Shan de Silva, a volcanologist on the research team. [See images of the inflating volcano here.]
Researchers realized about five years ago that the area below and around Uturuncu is steadily rising — blowing up like a giant balloon under a wide disc of land some 43 miles (70 kilometers) across. Satellite data revealed the region was inflating by 1 to 2 centimeters (less than an inch) per year and had been doing so for at least 20 years, when satellite observations began.
"It's one of the fastest uplifting volcanic areas on Earth," de Silva told OurAmazingPlanet."What we're trying to do is understand why there is this rapid inflation, and from there we'll try to understand what it's going to lead to."

Tonight, we have lost a great soul.... a powerful spirit ..an amazing healer
and a great friend.
I am saddened at the loss of the great tree who , this very evening
committed suicide right outside our front yard
leaving behind an ocean of family worldwide...
Tree had many brothers and sisters who grew all over this great Earth
tree saw many things in it's long life.... lands shifting and changing,
forest fires set by uncaring and unfocused campers ...
Heroic events such as bending it's branches to allow humans to climb to safety when lands flooded
or when hunted by wild animals
surviving many disasters such as the cutting off of limbs
just for the cruelty of providing walking sticks or tossing it's branch for a dog to fetch
for the cruel humans who didn't even say a simple " thank you tree for your gift"
Cruelly carving initials into it's belly just from a stupid human who writes
" so and so loves so and so "
without even a care of if the tree wants to be mutilated or not :(
tree leaves behind all it's brothers and sisters and many many uncles/aunts/cousins/
who are saddened at yet...another great loss in their family
Having already lost too many members already from digging up forests
to put in giant concrete jungles of buildings and roads
leaving very little space for trees to continue growing into strong, solid oaks...
we all know that suicides are not permitted in Heaven
BUT...
Creator has made an exception for poor tree, knowing it could no longer stand
all the heartbreak it has been seeing throughout it's lifetime...
No respect....no love... No touch of a caring hand; poor tree has suffered enough.
The funeral consisted of water...who bared witness to it's last breath...
The many workers who are cutting it off the street
The many onlookers who were annoyed that such a great being was blocking their way
and Myself...who wept at it's beauty, now lifeless , laying upon the cold hard pavement
in a flood of watery tears..covering the street making it almost impossible to walk in it
Tree will always be remembered for it's great gift of shade and beauty
when all around is destruction and garbage.
Please join me in prayers as tree is being laid to rest as we speak
by the many workers who tried to revive it, but now sadly....
must cut it into pieces to make way once again for humans.
Tree.... you will always be in our Hearts.... We Love you.

i just walked through the sidewalk right through the branches of this great beauty...
who had decided to commit suicide :(

This planet we live one will not survive.

Hello dear friends,
Just wondering what you make of all this? Have a look at the below pic (NASA's computer-generated graphic of objects currently in earths orbit) issued by NASA Associated Press. Many of those little dots indicate and represent the amount of 'Space Junk' that is circling our planet awaiting re-entry to earths atmosphere. Do any of you find this just a little disturbing? Not only have we polluted the planet but we have contaminated our atmosphere and space as well. Why would we do this?
A 5-6 ton piece of 'space junk' is expected to enter our atmosphere sometime today (Saturday) or, maybe Sunday morning, somewhere in the Pacific region. NASA has assurred us, that we (the people) have a 1 in 3200 chance of being hit by falling debris. I'm going to be wearing my 'hard hat' for the next couple of days, that's for sure lol. Not confident enough it may all burn up on reentry. KEEP YOUR EYES TO THE SKIES FOLKS!!!!

'Small chance' satellite may hit Australia

Scientists say there is a small chance debris from a satellite due to crash to Earth this weekend could land in Australia. NASA's Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS), which weighs more than five tonnes, is expected to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere at 1058 AEST on Saturday. The US-based Centre for Orbital and Re-entry Debris Studies estimates that re-entry could occur up to seven hours before or after this time. The satellite's flight path includes several passes over Australia. The Australian Space News website said the satellite poses a negligible threat to life and property on Earth. "Most of the satellite will burn up on re-entry, with perhaps as many as 26 stronger or harder small pieces surviving to reach the surface," editor Jonathan Nally said in a statement. "But with the majority of the Earth comprising oceans or uninhabited (or very sparsely populated) remote regions, the chances are overwhelming that any pieces of UARS that survive re-entry will fall harmlessly and never be seen again." The UARS was launched in September 1991 and was decommissioned in December 2005. After the satellite's productive days were over, NASA deliberately placed it into an orbit about 200 kilometres lower than its operational orbit. "This was done to accelerate its eventual demise and means it is re-entering the atmosphere 20 years earlier than it would otherwise have done," explains Mr Nally. "This was a very responsible thing to do. The longer a spacecraft stays in orbit, the more chance it has of being hit by other orbital debris, leading to a destructive breakup and therefore more bits of debris." Debris from SkyLab, another satellite which plunged to Earth, was scattered over parts of Western Australia in 1979. Skylab weighed about 77 tonnes, many times more than the UARS. Dr Alice Gorman of the Department of Archaeology at Flinders University in Adelaide said the re-entry of the UARS brings back memories of Skylab 32 years ago. "There is the same exaggeration of the hazard through the media, public anxiety as the advance warning allows for speculation, and a lack of understanding of what the risks actually are," Dr Gorman said in a statement. "Should it land in Australia, we might expect the same rush for souvenirs as we saw with Skylab, as anything that has been in space has a special meaning on Earth."

Today sees the eviction of one of the biggest traveller sites in the U.K. These travellers are being evicted forcefully from their own land. OK they have no planning permission and it is "green belt" land but how many times has planning been given to large companys to build on greenbelt or brownbelt land.
The travelling way of life has been a part of our history for generations. As a child growing up on the welsh borderlands I remember the Gypsies coming to our village. They came every year in early summer and camped on the old Airfield. Their children came to our school whilst the parents worked the land. Seasonal work picking Raspberries, Strawberries, then on to Blackcurrents, potatoes and ending with the Apples and Hops. The Gypsies would be there on the land for several weeks and their children became friends who we looked forward to meeting year after year. Now with fruit crops being harvested by machine or farms opting for Pick your own, this work is no longer available and so those who choose the travelling life have had to adjust and find other ways to survive.
For many the travelling way of life is in the blood. They are born to it and simply have to be on the move.As in all societys there are good and bad. There are always going to be a minority who cause trouble and like a fight but they are I think far out weighed by the good.There is a lot of controvesy over this eviction and I am not particularly interested in the politics of it but at the same time it sort of has the feel of ethnic cleansing to it. There are not enough homes for people as it is so where are they going to put all these people who have nowhere to go? Most councils do not actually provide sites even though they are supposed to or if they do they are inadaquate and probably already full.
My ancesters were travelling people and I love nothing better than being on the road, moving, seeing new places, meeting new people.I choose to be based in a house as my children are settled where we are and all studying but if I wanted to live on the road it would be very difficult because of the lack of provision for stop overs.
Personally I feel very sad that people are so intolerant. As we move toward 2012 we all need to "let go" of the negatives and learn to accept each other as we truly are. We are all humans, we all share one home Planet Earth. It is time that segregation stopped aand we learn to share and to learn from each other.
Today my thoughts and prayers are with the families of Dale Farm. I wish them well.

Large parts of South Africa's beautiful, but water-poor and ecologically sensitive Karoo region are under threat of being devastated by mining operations to extract natural gas using a controversial technique called hydraulic fracturing or 'fracking'.
During fracking millions of litres of water, sand and numerous chemicals most of which are toxic, carcinogic as well as teratogenic (they include benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, xylene, ethylene glycol (antifreeze), diesel fuel, naphthalene (moth ball) compounds, boric acid, arsenic, poly nuclear organic hydrocarbons, only to name a few of 500-odd chemicals used), are pumped into boreholes at high pressure to release natural gas (called shale gas) trapped in layers of underground rock.
In the USA, where fracking has been used extensively, there have been hundreds of documented cases of this process resulting in:
- catastrophic drinking water pollution;
- air pollution;
- health concerns for humans and animals; and
- general environmental degradation.
Right now, Shell and other international and local companies are preparing to explore tens of thousands of square kilometres of land in South Africa for natural gas exploration by fracking. Most of the area under threat is already extremely water-stressed and can not afford any water to be either wasted or contaminated by the fracking process which, once in full production, may involve tens of thousands of boreholes and billions of litres of water.
There is a growing groundswell of opposition to the use of fracking in South Africa by a broad coalition of farmers, environmental organisations and ordinary citizens.

East Coast earthquake. Just had a 5.8 hit Virginia. It was felt as far north as Harrisburg PA so far. My most northern friends have not chimed in yet. And I just got an e-mail about mass sighting in Calif. And I feel joy anfter a week of being in the dumps.

I guess this is yesterday's blog.
We got the call from our new friends to see if we wanted to go for a picnic at their favorite swimming hole. It wasn't a hard decision. The ladies packed us a nice lunch and we loaded the dogs and the cooler and the odds and the ends and all of us into the conveyance and rode up to Wilson's Creek.

It's a few miles of rocky, flowing river with a gravel road running beside it. There are a few places to park and then one makes one's own treacherous way down the steep bank into the paradise. It's right where the mountains meet the foothills.
The boulders are awesome. Every waterpark ever built is envious of this sort of place. IF I were still geocentric, I might wax philisophical about "this" place. BUT I know that there are wonderous places like this all over the planet. Places that aren't completely tainted with greed, places that are dangerous, fun. NO room for litigants here, no one to sue.
The spot we picked out was a isolated little beach on a nice swimming area. The ranger told us that we weren't allowed to park where we were so we unloaded and I took the vehicle to the designated parking area. Then I decided I would just work my way up the creek back to our spot. No big deal right?
I AM Merriwether Lewis, exploring the Louisiana territory: "Gee, it's bigger than it looked on the map..." Seemed like it took a LONG time for me to beat my way upstream to lunch.
The dogs were whining as I came up. They had seen me coming but wouldn't brave the deeper currents to swim to me. We had a delicious lunch. Flank steak sandwiches, cucumbers, tomoatoes, sweet chewy dessert bars, some cold beers.
The river was filled with folks. Upstream a ways from us was a natural waterslide that ran forty or so feet down a mossy rock, tons of kids were waiting to try that one. Every once in a while an adventurer or a pair would wave and greet as they worked their way down river, either on foot or with some flotation device. A vehicle rode by slowly above our heads.
We all got in the water after lunch to some degree. I found the "world's most awesome meditation spot" (see photo). Kelsey kept wanting to swim out to me and tried six different times before she found the right angle and footing. What a dog. Robin patrolled shoreward.
I sat in the water and learned more about my new buddy. Interesting to meet a new friend at this point. Colin was born three days before me, so we have a great deal in common.
Seems I fell into a mild rant concering political issues (rule of law, checks and balances, EVIL) on the way. Lorri pointed out that I was dropping some "major F bombs, dude." LOL. I am not sure where they stand on it all, but I am SURE they know where I do. LMAO.
There was a little storm. We huddled in the tilt of some big rocks, the raindrops on the water only added to the beauty. Then there was gem searching.
This area is rich with mineral wealth, I do believe the largest emerald in the world was found not far, in Spruce Pine...I may be wrong. Anyway, it's fun to muck around in the gravel looking for treasure. I am quick to declare any abberant rock as a gemstone, then when I garner interest--I throw it back in the creek, laughing. I can be obnoxious.
It's the looking that makes one wealthy, not the silly rocks!
Well, by the middle of the afternoon, it looked like the rain was moving in to stay. So we loaded up the wet dogs, the sandy semi-sunburned humans and the dregs of the picnic. Four people studying the subtleties of contentment. It was a great second couples "date." I think we're all grateful for the new friends.
Sometimes it feels like a compromise, to come back and shower and put all the stuff away and plug back in. For so long in my life, I yearned to have a home of my own. Now that I have one, the wanderlust is stronger than ever. Balance. The middle path. So yeah, yesterday down to Wilson's Creek, great day.

I really think this is important,
The missing bees have been playing on my mind for some weeks now, I found this site today and see that there are many ways that we can be active in saving & repopulating our bees. here is a direct link to "Save Our Bee Populations" section of site save them,
Our whole eco system depends upon their survival because their survival will ensure our survival. They are the reason we have food on our plates and clothes on our backs.

Hello everyone I need some insight. Last night while tending my garden a small (4in) black winged dragonfly with a neon green body started flying around my plants. It was so cute. It flew around my head a couple times and landed on one of my plants. I tried to get a good photo but was unable.
Does anyone have insight into this little creature?

While the episode of the fallen pecan trees has been milked of it's spiritual significance, the work is ongoing.
Three days it took us to get the trees to this point, lopped of the weight of summer's full leaf, the structure stands. Tomorrow or the next day I will deconstruct and buck. Today I am cold-chillin'.
My lovely wife is all I see that equals the beauty of the trees. :D Tomorrow is her birthday.
Hot and humid is not the season for turning trees into wood. BUT whatcha gonna do?

People in new York don't worry there will be no mayor destruction but it will be scary enough for people. Be prepared to walk and carry cash.

Can I type here? Okay...photo blog today, inspired by another lightworker's blog. First from my office, this stares at me to make sure what I say is true. It's up on the bulletin board where it can only be seen while sitting at the computer. Taurus, born in the Chinese year of the Ox.
This is the amalgam thing I was talking about in the blog "in my room" all doodles from a year working as a field service rep. The year was 1991, I do believe.
I am most interested in your reactions to this, my most recent unfinished work. It's model enamels on an old coffee table that was made out of an old dinner table. (I so love to make something out of nothing, me and God both.) Also to find new uses for discarded things.
May as well go downstairs and see the wedding gift I got Lorri on our honeymoon. The inscription reads, "We can do no great things; only small things with great love." ~Mother Theresa
Then I thought this was a nice bit of art, especially considering we put it in with salvaged tiles and stonework. May as well play with the illusion, huh?
While you admire the perfectly level shelves I installed in the front room (yoga room) see if you can discern the secret message...
Here are some more VERY fine shelves made of salvaged chesnut on, booty brackets. If you look at the pottery on the left the bottom piece is the first I ever fired. The pot on top is one I threw for the express purpose of sharing homeade chicken and dumplings--it still works beautifully. I met my friend calendulaceum in that pottery class.
Some cheesy hallmark thing that hangs over our kitchen window. NOTE the two wish bones for anyone who needs a spare wish. We're so blessed, we can hardly think of anything else to wish for. LOL.

Humanity suffocates,
slowly, very slowly, in its total indifference.
Our Mother Earth,
the great alive soul
warms us on her heart

Okay so ive lived in the same area all my life and every year all summer im riddled with chigger and mosquito bites from head to toe for the entire duration of the season. This season I havent got a single bug bite whatsoever.. NONE. people around me have gotten them, lots infact. Same as every year. But for some reason my little friends have decided to leave me be this year. Is anyone else out there experiencing something similar? Does anybody have a good reason why this is happening?

There's something sublime about walking barefoot outside. For one thing, there is the necessity of watching where we place each foot. Mindfulness.
Nothing provides me with a better sense of being where I need to be, than standing in the sun on the grass barefoot. I occasionally do a little bit of home made dedication where I point my third eye into the sun, anchor my feet in the grass and LOVE the SUN for eight and a half minutes. Which I am sure you knew was the amount of time it takes the light from the sun to reach the earth.
Great stuff. Much different than the sunrise sunstaring that I also randomly do as the opportunity presents itself. When I let that heat sink into my head, I imagine all those subatomic particles, waveforms, light, love working magic on my pineal gland. Maybe it will allow me to know more...maybe not. It feels divine.
Visually I get a sort of "flower of life" grid after a while, as if the veil goes up for a peek, just for me. I think all of that sacred geometry is colored by our egos. I think all numbers are fine, have long admired the pentagram. All shapes are there, all volumes, infinite capacity, coarse or refined as the freewill chooses to see.
Heard a new one, for guys like me who are crazy about ole helios: "Suntards." Haha. I AM.
Big Bruhaha in our media about the new regulations for sunscreen. My wife has a helacious sunburn from weeding in the garden in a t-back top. It was an awful sunburn, kept us from hugging. She is better now.
For rest, give me the forest. The shade of the trees. A cool grove with dappled sun. Ahyep. That is my choice for heaven. Some little clearings occur and then disappear. The wind rustles the leaves like a distant river before a soft breeze makes its way down to kiss my cheek.

When I was nineteen, a young sailor, I had an older lover. My first, Jo Anne. I don't think that this is the place for romantic nostalgia (or even lust-based nostalgia) so I won't go into the details. BUT she said something that has stuck with me for all these years:
"Alan, you're a chameleon. You don't just get along in new circumstances, you adapt, immerse yourself and become like your surroundings." HUH. I didn't like it at the time, I had a pretty good personna as an A-jay-squared-away sailor. I used to yell at people for walking on the grass!
BUT I did get along in divergent situations...Later in life I remember going with a friend to a party at the lake outside Dallas. He was my connection and friend and a full blown hippie head banger with hair down to his waist. I was a preppy who dropped out, a good boy who was sick of all the hoops. I just left behind a failed marraige and I was ready to be something different.
So, we went to that party. I was wearing Khaki shorts and an Izod shirt and boat shoes and that was me then. Well, the lake party was pretty short on that. I was the only male with hair above my shoulders (I think there was a chick with a shaved head). I remember the looks I got when we arrived. Mean, judgemental, unwelcoming "you don't belong here..." Tough crowd. When I left, they were my friends.
For a long time I would beat up on myself because I didn't feel I had a strong "identity," style, personna. I just got along with whatever came along. I grew up in North Dallas where egos are inflated by huge industrial compressors. Every stitch of my clothing was forever being evaluated. When I started college, the biggest issue was where I could get my shirts starched, just so.
I guess people could like me because they could have me however they wanted. I'd just change my stripes to match the background. The people around me, friends, family were forever encouraging that ego-based chameleon. At one point, it was like the more folks liked me, the more depressed I got. It was so easy, so lame.
At some point I had to accept the chameleon analogy was true, to an extent. Okay, so at least I could find pleasant environs to mimic. People I liked, thought wonderful, I would take on those stripes. Why not mimic pleasantness? It was a step...
NOW, I would choose transparency. It's no longer enough to imitate the best of what I see, now I must be PERFECTLY CLEAR in order for the divine light to shine through me. NOT my will, but God's will. Which, is the paramount of chameleon achievement.
HA! You say, "Zen, you are very much a character and a personna!" Well, I am getting better...

Yesterday I was able to take a nice hike. I managed to find my favorite tree as a youth and I knew that I had to climb it, to recapture lost days and just for a good meditation with nature beneath me. Spontaneous evolution has occurred in history at specific increments in time. What causes these changes? How do these changes affect us on a cellular level? What is happening to our DNA right NOW?
Scientific Evidence
David Sereda has been working diligently in this area of science. According to Sereda, since 2006, scientists have been noticing a difference in the decay rates in nuclear particles, which had been consistently reliable in previous years.
What does this mean? It isn’t typical to see such a drastic change in these decay rates. Scientists are seeing a change of 1/10th of 1% in these particles, which was previously unheard of and is unexplainable at this moment. When a particle speeds up, it means it’s radiating more energy. This includes the energy and particles within our own bodies. Studies on DNA have indicated that even very weak changes in the energy field can cause profound changes in our DNA.
Sereda went on to state that because our children are in a rapid growth stage, they are going to receive more of this change than the adults.
There is a drastic climate change event happening on every planet in our solar system. Planets are becoming more luminous, have higher energy fields and have thicker atmospheres.
What is causing these dramatic changes?
Our Sun will reach a solar maximum in 2013. In the meanwhile, it is emitting high energy photons that can literally affect our consciousness, as evidenced by the global awakening that’s going on right now. It’s certainly not a coincidence that these energies are bringing in a wave of spiritual consciousness that demands truth and desires the best for humanity.
There is some evidence that points to the photon belt as being a prime catalyst for cellular change, but this is more speculation than factual science.
We are exiting the Age of Pisces and are entering the Age of Aquarius. As I noted in a previous article, each age has an energy signature associated with it. All of the planets in our galaxy are undergoing dramatic climate changes. For example, there is a newly discovered ice cap on Mars, chemical changes on Jupiter, new weather patterns on Venus, a vortex on the south pole of Saturn, etc…
There is an energy field at the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy that’s described as a ribbon. "This is a shocking new result for us and one that is not entirely understood," said David McComas, the lead scientist on a NASA mission called IBEX.
This “ribbon” is a long band of high-energy particle emissions that could feasibly alter our DNA.
Is it possible that these changes are related to our location to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy as we near the galactic alignment? Do the changes in our Sun have any relevance to the changes in our solar system? How do these changes affect us on a cellular level?

Don’t stare at the sun!
There is a gentleman who goes by the initials, HRM, who has existed solely on sunlight and water since 1996. That’s right, he has not eaten solid food in 12 years. He has been studied by various researchers, such as the Thomas Jefferson University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Not only have they found his claims to be true, but medical evidence suggests this man is healthier than a normal person of his age. He is approaching 80 years old.
HRM practices sungazing daily. Doctors stated that his neurons were active, and not dying. His pineal gland is actually growing, not shrinking, which is very unusual in someone over the age of fifty. The greatest average in someone over fifty, is a pineal size of 6×6 mm, HRM’s is 8×11 mm.
The reason I bring this up is because we’ve been taught that it’s harmful to directly stare into the sun. While I’m not advocating sun gazing (although I do it, myself), if one decides to do it, then please research this topic thoroughly.

Because if there's one idea that needs to stay dead after the collapse, it's the idea that We the People somehow need another group of people (government workers) to live off our hard work while hounding us with their false authority, directing every little detail of our lives.
What we need in our world isn't more government, but more freedom. If we had freedom, integrity and personal responsibility, we wouldn't even be facing the global collapse that has already begun. But alas, the human race is an infant species and it must learn some lessons the hard way, it seems.
This lesson should be long remembered: If you let the corporations, the banks and the governments run your economies, your farms and your lives, they will enslave you and steal your future while you sleep; they will inject silent poisons into the very world around you until you awaken one day to find that all you created has been destroyed. They will promise you paradise but deliver only death. Beware of any entity that is not a living person -- no government, no institution, no corporation has a soul, nor a heart, nor a conscience. They are forces of organized destruction that decimate those things we hold dear while delivering to us things that will only enslave us or harm us.
Beware the corporation; the government; the non-profit institution working as a front group for private industry. Never allow yourself to be ruled over by any institution which exists only as a fictional construct organized from the projection of human greed.

years i questioned myself how one belongs to fantasise and how one belongs to dream,
because everybody that i have get to know, doesn't matter who, did say in a certain way to me, "act normal",
when my fantasy or dream doesn't fit in the picture of that persons fantasy or dream.
Because of this i began to think about what normal behaviour is and what normal experience is and how on should experience normal,
because out of the fantasy and the dream grows experience and out of the experience you receave wisdom that
you teach your surroundings and your children and you pass that to your children what you see and find "that is normal",
while the child and someone elses vieuw is a completly different experience vieuw of what's normal.
I know that fantasising and dreaming is creating out of the fantasie and the dream and that is what Is.( All That Is )
Dear hearts fantasising and dreaming is the engine of inspiration to create what the creation does also and waht the creation truly is.

There is currently in Mt Shasta a Native American gentleman called Blue Thunder who is speaking on matters of prominent interest regarding the environment, chemtrails, etc. Some have "intuited" that he is the re-incarnation of Wovoka, who was a Paiute Medicine Man, quite active in the late 1800's and "creator" of the Ghost Dance. Omen? Scientists dismayed as millions of aquatic animals swarm Antarctica

April 28, 2011 – ANTARCTICA – Scientists are dismayed by the record number of whales swarming Antarctica. The sightings, made in waters still largely ice-free deep into austral autumn, suggest the previously little-studied bays are important late-season foraging grounds for the endangered whales. But they also highlight how rapid climate change is affecting the region. The Duke University-led team tracked the super-aggregation of krill and whales during a six-week expedition to Wilhelmina Bay and surrounding waters in May 2009. They published their findings today (April 27) in the online science journal PLoS ONE. “Such an incredibly dense aggregation of whales and krill has never been seen before in this area at this time of year,” says Duke marine biologist Douglas Nowacek. Most studies have focused on whale foraging habitats located in waters farther offshore in austral summer. Nowacek and his colleagues observed 306 humpback whales – or about 5.1 whales per square kilometer, the highest density ever recorded – in Wilhelmina Bay. They measured the krill biomass at about 2 million tons. Small, floating fragments of brash ice covered less than 10 percent of the bay. The team returned in May 2010 and recorded similar numbers. Smaller but still higher-than-normal counts were also reported in neighboring Andvord Bay. Advancing winter sea ice used to cover much of the peninsula’s bays and fjords by May, protecting krill and forcing humpback whales to migrate elsewhere to find food, Nowacek says. But rapid climate change in the area over the last 50 years has significantly reduced the extent, and delayed the annual arrival, of the ice cover, says Nowacek, who is the Repass-Rodgers University Associate Professor of Conservation Technology. “The lack of sea ice is good news for the whales in the short term, providing them with all-you-can-eat feasts as the krill migrate vertically toward the bay’s surface each night. But it is bad news in the long term for both species, and for everything else in the Southern Ocean that depends on krill,” says Ari S. King Crabs: It’s like a scene out of a sci-fi movie — thousands, possibly millions, of king crabs are marching through icy, deep-sea waters and up the Antarctic slope. “They are coming from the deep, somewhere between 6,000 to 9,000 feet down,” said James McClintock, Ph.D., University of Alabama at Birmingham Endowed Professor of Polar and Marine Biology. Shell-crushing crabs haven’t been in Antarctica, Earth’s southernmost continent, for hundreds or thousands, if not millions, of years, McClintock said. “They have trouble regulating magnesium ions in their body fluids and get kind of drunk at low temperatures.” But something has changed, and these crustaceans are poised to move by the droves up the slope and onto the shelf that surrounds Antarctica. McClintock and other marine researchers interested in the continent are sounding alarms because the vulnerable ecosystem could be wiped out, he said. Antarctic clams, snails and brittle stars, because of adaptation to their environment, have soft shells and have never had to fight shell-crushing predators. “You can take an Antarctic clam and crush it with your hands,” McClintock said. They could be the main prey for these crabs, he said. McClintock’s colleague Sven Thatje, Ph.D., an evolutionary biologist at the University of Southampton in England, saw the first signs of the king crab invasion in 2007. He spotted a lone crab climbing up the slope. McClintock and Rich Aronson, Ph.D., a paleoecologist at Florida Institute of Technology, put together a proposal to launch the first systematic search for king crabs in Antarctica. With Sven as chief expedition scientist, the team headed back with two ships and a submarine earlier this year. Most builders purchase building materials -- piles of wood, sheet rock, nails, bricks, and tiles -- that are used in construction and then, when the house is finished, the waste is discarded to the dump. My Dear Reading, listening friends:
Happy Spring! Can you feel the shift in the air, in the gentle breezes, in the songs of the birds? I certainly did, especially over this past weekend. Springing forth in a sense on all levels of a newness of life, I feel the Power, the Purity & the pastoral call renewed within & all about me.
This article is about the Power available to ALL of us within our very body gloves, the human form we chose to inhabit now.
Cutting to the chase, the Message a messianic figure in the form of a human man gave us over a few centuries ago...that got him ridiculed, dragged through the streets, spat on, then murdered in the most gruesome & public of ways is that the Kingdom of Godd is within. He was simply, & unassumingly pointing within...the Light within that actually animates us.
All these poetic similes & metaphors are contained in a library of books bound together in the Bible. A lamp on hill, the flocking of folks...simple, pure, & actually filled with physics. Modern day physics.
Metaphysics. Change always being initiated within first in order to manifest change on the outside.
So that is the Power part. We ALL have it. That is what He came to say & to demonstrate. Period.
Our point of view matters. It is a physical, a metaphysical truth.
Reading the cutting edge work of scientists around the globe, the emerging truth, the deeper layers of truth, are that the Observer actually affects the observed. You may have found this to be true in your own experiences if you stop to ponder this for a moment.
Children & parents interact in this fashion all the time, with or without awareness. Spend even a few hours watching these interactions on a playground or a park & you can see this in action. Mommy! Watch me! Watch me now! And then the fabulous leap, the mastery of the jump, the cartwheel, the courage conjured to make a smooth swan dive from a high place.
The triumphs & tragedies of life in motion are so much more dynamic when someone is witnessing them. More growth producing. Less stagnant.
Likewise, emotions that are stirred in these interactions have their own magnetism. And this seems odd, but if you live long enough you also can be more acutely tuned & aware to these too, & how they have an actual electromagnetic field or charge about them. A Universal scale, not at all special but truly a Universal law for all; the lower vibrational emotions; that makes us feel: sad, depressed, fearful, they have a lower charge...literally & figuratively.
So many common expressions in folk talk/lore indicate this as well. Feeling "under the weather", gloomy, dark feelings often can coincide with actual weather conditions outside, have you ever noticed this?
Well let us look a little deeper at the lower vibrational range & see something which may help now.
I credit my counselor in the early days of recovery from major trauma to help me see this, once she pointed it out to me. I did have that "lightbulb" experience when she did. That "ah hah!" moment that teachers & counselors get their charge out of. The pure LOVE of the chosen work in the chosen field; let us look at the relationship between fear & anger for just a moment. Once you SEE the pattern, I hope you too can use the knowledge to shift into mastery where all is much more satisfying, speaking as one who has grappled with it. Trust me. practice makes perfect.
My dear counselor Claudia Zayfert exemplified this, She had exercises to help me FEEL my way through the truth of the matter; the matter being that some emotions are like a smog or fog. They occlude clarity, they soften light coming through windows.
Claudia helped me tame my rage.
Here is what she pointed out. Fear is not a place we LIKE to be. Engulfed by it. It is terrifying. It makes us feel without power of any kind & at the mercy of forces far more powerful than ourselves. In times since my meetings with her this was born out repeatedly as world events showed us in aftermaths of cataclysmic Earth changes; hurricanes, quakes, tsunamis. Terrifying forces of nature bearing down on small vulnerable bodies containing spirit...
Researchers discovered most of the deaths after the hurricanes that ravaged New Orleans died; not of the natural events themselves, but of the panic & fear that overwhelmed those spirits in bodies. Floods of cortisol & other biochemicals overwhelmed the Observer, the calm, rational state of the persons who floated up as corpses...it truly was FEAR that killed.
So, again a truth rings out, a world leader, said "we have nothing to fear but fear itself."
Not just a catchy political statement. A FACT. Born out by our ever increasing analytical technologies that brought us this metaphysical truth home again. And again & again.
Those police who panicked & drew guns too quickly, mistaking a move on the part of a prey & shot prematurely, shot from fear, ...& death, needless death arising again, & again & again....
Metaphysical truth.
Because here is the pearl she polished & held up to the light for me; the fastest way to get out of fearful states is to convert them into ANGER.
Now there is power! Anger motivates, anger is like gasoline, it can ignite so quickly.
Anger is the fuel the natural body NEEDS sometimes to catalyze us out of danger, an adrenaline rush, so quicksilver we hardly believe it has caught us upward & out of the situation we can not STAND for!
Yes, ANGER can liberate. And yes, anger needs to be handled with as much care as gasoline whether propane or liquid. This is the Pearl I shall forever cherish this dear sister for handing me, in the aftermath of surviving a near death experience in my own journey.
I pass it along to you dear ones as well. Anger needs an outlet. A safe one. When I asked her about how to discharge this safely & why she did not react when I spoke loudly & forcefully to her in our sessions she replied with this metaphor;
Anger does not lessen in intensity when it is mirrored back.
For me (she, the counselor) to react to you with anger will do neither of us any good. It is like throwing gas on a fire. It only flares up & is very unstable.
"So what do you do then?" I asked her. Her work was to help me revisit, over & over again the most fear-ridden aspects of my trauma experience to really zone in on the most fear provoking of them, & to desensitize to those moments by the sheer repetition of the hearing of my own voice telling about those peak fearful moments again & again until the emotional intesity of them reduced, by my own self-examination from near 100 percent down to near zero. We made tapes so I could listen to me & the telling of it, over & over again.
Getting to zero point. That was the key. This method worked at that point in time for me. So I offer it to you as a freebie. With an invitation to experiment with the method. There are others. But the process is a sure one...Noticing, observing with real honesty within your own safe place, whatever that may look like for you, is worth the risk of the experiment. It will do no harm, it may help you master the lower vibrational spectrum of emotions...which, incidently appear universally to correspond with colors too, ever notice that?
"Seeing red"...Notice, acknowledge...take a deep breath...& then, just maybe, you may feel better moving yourself, your own emotions into a higher vibration...from red, into orange, into yellow (power), into green, into teal, into blues, into purple...their is your rainbow of emotions to master...the Light within is your own...to turn up the heat or turn it down, just like the oil lamps of old...this is where the purity comes in. As we each turn the keys to our own lamps we co create a more Light-filled, peaceful, calm place wherever our lamps are still lit. Sitting still...sometime pecking away as a tiny newbirthing bird out of the shell of old, outmoded belief, tapes of childhood abuse, terrifying movie-like ,moments with huge forces seemingly without our own "windows" our own eyes to the outside world...
Being a pastoral sort, means being gentle. Gentle with ourselves first, by noticing these metaphysical movements within & then playing with the keys. A shepherd is gentle but highly Observant. Watches for predators at night to guard against wolves & foxes who would break past the shepherd's vigilance to steal the eggs, or grab the hens or bite the jugulars of the sheep. Sheep have a herd mentality. The Shepherd knows this.
Being like that Man of a couple thousand years ago is to BE the shepherd. Not write lectures about Him or long dissertations that satisfy the intellect alone. The Shepherd has the heart & head working in synergistic fashion together at all times. How about you?

I gotta say my heart goes out to japan..lots of love and light to them all. I wanted to make this blog to talk about how i saw this quake coming! was on Saturday night when i had the dream or something. I had dreampt that another 7 plus earthquake hit japan and saying omg again its happening another earthquake and i remember saying that to someone. I cant remember to much detail but i do remember that part. So anyway I woke up this morning and BAM! lol a 7.1 earthquake happened in japan. SO I dunno if it could just be a coincidence or not so tell me what you think or if anyone else has had the same thing happen or feelings? Much love and light guys!

Nature communicates to those who have earthly perceptions entact. Nature is your purest most direct messenger at this time. Pele is this earth's "canary in the coal mine", observe HER movements daily. She is our "Earth-Shift detection device". It is highly suggested that all seismic shifts be watched closely near Kilauea.
She IS the navel of this world, and SHE calls all to witness the re-birthing of her fiery force, as earthly transformations commence and accelerate rapidly across HER crust. The rumblings have begun, many of you feel these deep solar plexus changes within your bodies. In your own navel areas upon your eathly bodies, a tug is felt...an anxious yet exicited stirring rumbles within your core, just as within The Mother Earth's. Many will have goddess volcano sightings across the globe, as SHE awakens humanity through her lava stretching.
Her Polynesian roots stretch far, and as one burst begins, a chain reaction will follow. This will have huge impact on humanity, as already shockwaves reverberate back and forth across the globe, and infinitely beyond. All human consciousness trembles, whether admitted or not, yet more is to come. This is the path of the ONE, the purifying fires affect all. These fires will spark across karmic regional channels, bursting forth and releasing tension held for eons.

Once these earthly fires activate humantiy into shock, the cosmic fires will be ignited, to assist in gathering more souls to ONE SOURCE. The dates and times are all set in motion by The Timekeepers. The ashrams of the heart on earth are absolutely necessary for maintaining Agni-soul-fires ofpure space. Affirm the Fires of Love across the globe in your pure sanctuaries of the heart. Golden Light Domes protect those within these pure golden bubbles of love, which you each have assisted in constructing, through dreamtimes and real time.

I’m a very open-minded person when it comes to how I, you or anyone else does things. It’s the individual threads that make up the tapestry…But I also enjoy looking at things at their face value, and yes, even as a Girl, making my decisions based on what is there in my face and not on how I might be emotionally pulled.
This blog isn’t necessarily going to be about renewables. See, there’s my emotional pull. Clean Earth, healthy economies. No…This is about what has been front and center lately and is the results of each of your choices over your entire lifetime on how you’ve powered your existence.
Let’s take a look at what you’ve chosen, paid for and used…
We’ll start with oil:
Crude oil is extracted from beneath the ground/ocean floors and sent to refineries to become petroleum products placed in barrels. The world uses an estimated 84 million barrels per day and the U.S. uses about 21 million of them, but produces only about 5.3 million of them.
Oil has become the lube of our lives, used mainly for transportation (fuel). It’s the mother lode substance of over 6000 petroleum-based products, and a much smaller percentage of it is used for electricity production. It’s obviously not considered a renewable source because once it’s pulled from the ground and burned it’s not replenished.
There are 3 techniques used to convert oil into electricity: Conventional steam, where oil is burned to heat water to generate electricity. The next is combustion turbine technology, where oil is burned to produce hot exhaust gases to turn a turbine. And the third is combined-cycle technology, where oil is combusted and the exhaust gases generates electricity, then exhausts are recovered, heat water and turn a second turbine.
Between the drilling, the transport and the refining of oil, quite a few toxic, hazardous and flammable materials are produced that (as we’ve all seen) have had varying destructive degrees of impact the water, ground and air.
Nuclear:
This is good topic right now and one that I’m enjoying learning more about. Uranium is a naturally occurring low-level radioactive element that is mined and extracted from the earth. Mines crush the uranium, grind it and leach it with acid. It’s then separate by ion exchange, dried and packed.
After it’s refined, it becomes a heavy, dense whitish-silvery metal that is softer than steel and malleable. Uranium is an isotope, meaning that it’s a variant of a basic element (it has different numbers of neutrons in its nucleus even though it has the same number of protons, which gives it its atomic number).
U(ranium)-235 (isotope) is fissile and is the one we use to fuel most of our nuclear reactor power plants. When the nucleus of a U-235 atom captures a moving neutron, it splits in two (fission). This expels a couple of neutrons and releases energy in the form of heat. The expelled neutrons then cause other U-235 atoms to split, releasing energy, causing more to spit, and so on. In this a small amount of uranium is used to create a big amount of energy. The core reactor uses fuel pellets placed inside thin metal tubes and assembled into bundles. It is then the “burning” of these uranium pellets that produces heat to make steam to generate electricity.
Nuclear power supplies about 20% of the electricity requirements in the U.S. and does this through 104 reactor power plants. Worldwide there are 443 nuclear reactor plants operating in 47 different countries. Nuclear power is considered both non-renewable and renewable. It utilizes natural resources that can become depleted, but it also utilized itself as a chain-reaction power source.
The environmental and human impact from nuclear energy is pretty serious. Plutonium is a man-made waste product as a result of nuclear fission. It’s radioactive and remains toxic for thousands of years. Nuclear reactors produce what is called “high-level” waste and used fuel that has to be reprocessed or stored (most is stored). It is first stored in cooling ponds at the reactor sites for several years to allow the radioactivity to decay and then the remainder requires isolation from the environment for a long, long time. The most favored method is burial at approximately 500 meters deep in stable geological locations.
Coal:
Coal can be considered “stored energy” in solid form and is extracted from the ground usually in the form of “strip-mining”. Because of the large amounts of coal found beneath the earth’s surface, it has been a cheap and easy way to produce electricity as it is simply crushed and fed into a combustion unit where it’s then burned. The burning of it creates steam which turns a turbine to produce electricity. This is also not considered renewable.
Electricity from coal provides about 48% of the electricity needs in the U.S.
But…Coal power plants are responsible for 93% of the sulfur dioxide and 80% of the nitrogen oxide emissions going out into the earth’s environment and I would gander to say an enormous player in the pollution game. And…because coal has uranium and thorium (both radioactive elements), the waste from a coal-fired plant is also radioactive, only up in the air…
Natural Gas:
Natural gas, like crude oil and coal is considered a fossil fuel and non-renewable as it takes millions of years to be created. It is found in vaporous forms under the ground in reservoirs mostly made of methane which is a hydrocarbon that when burnt, gives off a good deal of energy. To create electricity, the gas is superheated, pressurized in pipes and used to turn turbine engines.
Natural gas provides about between 18 and 23% of the energy used in the U.S. and is considered to be the cleanest of the non-renewable energy sources extracted from the earth.
Environmentally natural gas combustion produces nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxides at about the same pace as coal and about half the CO2 as coal. In combined-cycle power plants, a significant amount of water is also commonly used in the process.
Simple Commonality:
Oil, nuclear, coal and natural gas are pretty much the main energy production methods that we use to power our lives. Renewables are obviously in there and gaining ground with each passing day. But this isn’t about renewables…
Now take a look at a bigger picture. All of the above energy production methods, as usual, end up having some key things in common.
· They are all non-renewable in one form or another. This means they all need heavy subsidizing to continue attaining new source material and cannot ever sustain themselves.
· They all are burned to create heat. Whether it’s oil, coal or natural gas, they are burned in power plants to heat water. With nuclear, chain reaction fission to create the heat.
· They all have waste due to that burning. On various levels of toxicity, oil, coal, natural gas and nuclear all negatively impact planet earth and its people.
· They have, in each industry, provided us with disastrous results lately making me almost embarrassed to think that I have been a complacent part of the equation. A spill of a billion gallons of coal ash waste sludge 6 feet deep, a natural gas line blowing up a couple of city blocks…and people, oil spills dramatically changing our oceans and food source, and radioactive material floating around the world, visiting a neighborhood near you.
To sum it all up…
These have been our choices. They’re not wrong in that they have provided method and means for hugely accelerated growth in so many ways. They’re simply outlived and have mostly gone as far as they will be able to go technologically when considering the results of their use.
It’s time to decide on something new that gives results driven by the idea of life, not decay. What, again, are we afraid of? Last I remember there were a few things: First, we don’t like change. Second, we don’t want to pay more. Third, we don’t want to be inconvenienced and feel like we’re moving backwards to caveman status.
Are you aware how fast clean technology has evolved? Lightspeed…
Renewable energy that can sustain itself without having to dig up too many things Used to come at a lofty price tag with much less efficiency and effectiveness when utilized in the “real world”. It Used to be unable to supply firm power to the grid. It Used to be big and bulky.

Last few decades if I may say, have been the most crucial time for humanity. Crucial because this is the time for great changes. Great changes in not only in terms of growth, but the hazard occurrences that continue to take place on the physical as well as the mental and emotional realm for all human beings. While we have seen great success in terms of evolution of earth and great success of science, technology in all aspects, be in infrastructure, science, machines, millions of business spheres, medicine, finance, etc, on the other side there is immense but subtle depletion of energies on the nature’s realm. Every single aspect of nature’s gift is it air, water, earth, fire as been abused and exploited extensively for human growth and evolution. While every single day we have been making advance growth for intensive use of such natural resources, we are forgetting to really think about evolution to retain and protect these resources that we call NATURE. That is one area of major and direct benefit to humans that have been completely ignored? Nothing much has been provided to work on maintaining the harmony and balance of mother earth and all other nature resources she has to provide to use. While there may not be any harmony, we further have gone ahead and created a massive imbalance over years, which now unfortunately cannot be balanced, even with the use of any science and technology we cannot possibly come up with.
As each day passes by. We are seeing a lot of shifts, not only on our environment functioning, but also our physical, emotional, mental and our spiritual being. In this new millennium things are rapidly changing and progressing. The pace of our life has changed, increased and our lives have become more mechanical than personal. Not only in areas of technology, research, science, medicine, economy, infrastructure, etc but also in terms of our physical, mental and emotional functioning which directly or indirectly reflects in our personal and social relationships. Every being on this earth is strongly affected by certain shifts that are constantly taking place in different realms of earth and the universe. We look at earth and universe as a structure or science but we often fail in bringing our awareness to what exactly is the structure and composition of these energies. What are the mechanism and other higher energies that drive the working of these earth energies? We are only aware to the scientific knowledge that is bought to our notice not realising that these are certain energies which cannot be explained by science and technology. Rather even if it could have been explain and understood humans haven’t reached that level to take science and technology and put its use to understand and explaining universal energies.
While science and human being have validation and reasoning for everything and is apparently well equipped to handle consequences, why is it that in spite of all technologies and growth, we as humans are constantly struggling and going through issues on all levels, be it physical, emotional, mental, etc. why can’t we have solutions for everything which is easy to implement? Why can’t we stop people from suffering? Why can’t we avoid catastrophe and natural calamities and destruction? More so ever why can science and all our technologies replenish and conserve our mother Earth and all the natural resources that nature has to give to us?
As humans we have forgotten the power of humanity. Humans created science and has lost all its power to the creation of science and technology. We have started to allow our self created power be a source of our mere awareness. Our awareness today has been taken over by mediums of our own development, example televisions, internet, radio, press. We feel we cannot be aware of what is happening around till the time it is not shown to us visually through scientific validations. Is that what humanity is all about? Humanity is not about losing power to its own creation. It’s about being more aware to the creation of universe and higher energies that exist within, on and around mother earth. We are unfortunately not even aware of what lies within us.
From the beginning of earth’s formation. Mother earth has provided all resources for humans to tap into their best of abilities and harvest on to their highest most capabilities for the benefit of human race. We have so far succeeded in doing so, but in the process we have forgotten the source and our very own existence. We have allowed the power of human brain and ego to over shadow the simple gift of nature and all that mother earth has to offer to us as a source. How come science has never questioned the source of our sources? As energies are constantly changing from within mother earth, we are making full use of it rather exploiting it for our growth and greed. We are not allowing us to be prepared to different energy transition could possibly taking place within earth.
Science defines and proves the existence of energies which constantly keeps changing. While there has been constant shifts in earth’s energies, some of which we are not even aware of, some shifts have also bought to our notice extreme shifts reflected in physical earth surface such as natural calamities in form of earth quakes, tidal waves, floods, shifts in temperature, global warming etc. we have discarded all of the above on the basis of scientific reasoning and explanations, but the fact still remains that at the end of it, it’s just energies which keep changing. We may never know how energy shifts can take place, through what mediums, at what rate and how it can reflect in form of natural calamities. Using economy and technology, we can re-develop and with time forget the loses, but we can never prevent the same from happening in the near future, at any given time or place. Over last few decades, the earth’s energies are constantly shifting which has resulted in even more natural disaster and destruction. Rather than shifting our human awareness to the cause of it, we are only busy dealing and re-building losses.
While great masters, scientist, philosophers, maharishis, various religious teachers believe and understand the existence of earth’s and universal energies, they have at some point predicted and warned us about the power and effect it can have on humanity. While the language of explanation may vary, the message is the same. The message is about shifting human awareness to higher energies so we can prepare ourselves heal and deal with the constantly shifting energies that drive our lives, earth and universal energies. Majority of these readings, warnings and predictions are connected to this current decade and go on to mention the occurrence of massive changes and shifts about to take place in December 2012. Various possible effects have been interpreted and quoted, which have created more fear and confusions rather than creating awareness as to what one can really do about it.
By stating this I do not intend to create further confusions or fear. It is to simply explain the energy transitions that are going to occur and how we as human race through simple practice can avoid and prevent negative impact of energy shift happening in and around mother earth.
The energies that exist around and outside the earth’s surface constantly keeps shifting and has various affects on the energies of human existence. In India, it’s the science of astrology, through which one can be more aware of the role that each energy plays on the different realms of every being.
While it’s been proved and strongly validated by philosophers, spiritual masters, and now by even scientist and NASA, that December 2012 will be a witness to earth’s shifting axis due to certain magnetic waves. This is going to me a maximum shift which has occurred so far. The scientific reasons can be various but we need to understand the importance of its effects on humanity and how we can deal with these shifts.
As we move towards 2012, earth’s energy field is shifting towards an electromagnetic field which is called the “Photon belt.” This energy belt radiates waves and frequency that will be directly or indirectly affecting the “awareness” and “spiritual” aspect of every human being. Photon means “light” which is indirectly the light of awareness and light towards spirituality. The earth’s shift towards the photon belt has started since 1974, slowly and gradually brining about shifts in earth’s energies which have affected earth’s surface, environment, nature and humanity, for us to be more aware and spiritually inclined. This shift in axis and magnetic waves may cause a shift is earth’s functioning and reaction which is bound to happen, but not necessarily be the end of human race as feared by most of us. Maharishis, light workers, spiritual masters and healers are constantly working to channelize their healing energies and light to mother earth to heal and minimize the effect of external energies during this shift. This is one of the strong reasons that the occurrences and situations are taking place in our day to day lives is for us to be more aware and spiritual so that we as humans can contribute and make an effort in healing mother earth. As you read this, you may also wonder how one, without being a healer or light worker can contribute to the healing process of mother earth’s shifting energies. There are various simple techniques which every individual can follow and practise to channelize positive healing energies to mother earth. To start with one can simply close their eyes and imagine mother earth in front of them. As we do that, we can imagine a bean of white light following into the core of mother earth, filling it up with white light and slow coming to surface and covering mother earth with white healing light. This can be practiced for 3-5 minutes every day at any given time or place. Through this process we can send healing energies to the higher universal energies which will directly and indirectly balance the energy shifts taking place, minimising the negative and destructive effects it can have on human race.
In order to enjoy the shift and transition smoothly and gently, we need to be in harmony and balance with the ever- evolving nature. Paradise is not out there, it is right here seeking to be discovered and possessed. Humanity must move through this age of greed, control, and exploitation in order to arrive at its ultimate destiny. The time we speak of is not yet, but it is soon coming. Now is the time to pay attention to the lessons that are being offered so that as you move through the earth changes, you might be water on a still lake rather than waves down rapids. We just need to trust that every shift and evolutionary phase is and can be of great benefit to us, but only if we are successful is allowing that to happen with respect, compassion and harmony along with Mother Earth.
And while we work towards it, we must never forget that beyond all power created by humanity, there exist a power greater than that, and that is the power of Mother Earth.

Humanity has the opportunity to look at its creations that deplete the environment, threaten the environment, or simply ignore the effects of the world industrial complex on the eco-structure.
As we’ve discussed in the past, the true understanding of the “tribulation” is not when humanity rebels against itself—but the earth rebels against humanity. Just as in your own lives, you must take responsibility for your own creations—and transform and transmute them into the higher good, humanity must take responsibility for its creations and their impact upon the planet.
Some of the recent man-made disasters are a precursor to greater changes in the environment and an opportunity for humanity to re-evaluate the impact and consequences of its behaviors upon the planet before these planetary shifts occur. The failure to learn would ultimately be calamitous; for, when the “real” disasters occur, society’s infrastructure will be far more vulnerable to the earth’s changes and shifts.
The greater disaster in Japan is the nuclear devastation that is, and will, occur. The earthquake and tsunami, in and of itself, would be disaster enough, but long after the hearts have healed, the economy has recovered and the debris has been carried away, the effects of this event will still be present.
What has, or is, humanity learning from these man-made disasters such the Gulf oil spill, Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and the like? In the Gulf, they are concerned about the devastation to the economy and the visible environmental impact—but there is a far worse “cancer” growing slowly and unseen. The waters are poisoned by humanity’s lack of consideration for the environment, and that neglect eats away at the very infrastructure of the planet. Humanity is quick to talk about the infrastructure of its societies, but the planet has an inner structure of inter-dependence that assures the security of all upon the planet.
The earth has always been and always will be in shift. Perhaps these shifts can seem catastrophic and destructive to the planet and its inhabitants; yet, the earth never takes an action that is not for the overall benefit and well-being of those that it cares for. Even the continents and the creatures of this planet are transitory. Each taking their “fifteen minutes” upon the planet to offer their unique expression of the consciousness of All That Is in physical form.
The tragedy is humanity’s lack of consideration for the Earth as evidenced by their destructive and potentially dangerous behaviors that jeopardize the planet’s continual evolutionary process. Be it oil rigs in the Gulf or nuclear reactors upon geological faults, when the earth experiences these normal and natural shifting process, the scars left will directly impact the ability of the planet’s inhabitants to return to a state of normalcy.
The planet has endured these insults and sought to sustain the children it cares for, but the continued self-destructive efforts by humanity weighs down the earth’s ability to provide sustenance and life to her children. Humanity has negatively impacted this planet in more ways than we wish to discuss at this point. But be it from carbon emissions, to nuclear reactors, to the very fact that the water you drink is no longer potable from the rivers, streams and lakes that have been provided to sustain you.
It has often been spoken of a critical mass in consciousness and how that will shift humanity’s awareness—and that will occur. The earth also has a critical mass in consciousness—and when that is reached, the earth must cleans itself in order to survive. When creatures, including humanity, are in harmony and balance with the ever-evolving nature of the planet, there are smooth and gentle transitions.
The earth is shifting, and that is in divine order. Trust that every shift and evolutionary phase upon the planet is a step closer to paradise. There is a belief in your society that without nuclear reactors, carbon emissions or oil rigs in the Gulf, there cannot be the conveniences that much of humanity has become accustomed. Nothing is further from the truth. For when one is in harmony and in balance in its environment, everything that is needed is provided without detriment to the planet or its inhabitants.
The Industrial Age’s use of coal, petroleum, and nuclear energy was an acceptable step in the process of humanity evolving into the awareness of unlimited, green energy sources. What has occurred is that this development has been halted due to the greed and unwillingness of those who have the power and those who use the conveniences they offer to take the next step.
Don’t be scared. Be responsible and conscious of the choices you make. A moment of love directed to the physical plane of existence in which you dwell outweighs many bad decisions directed towards it.
We certainly understand that those who read this concept have heard it all before. The earth is a gentle mother who seeks to guide her children into the paradise she can be. Do you think that paradise has carbon emissions in the atmosphere? Do you think there are oil rigs in the Gulf or nuclear reactors? Yet, do you not believe that the inhabitants of this paradise live in ease and peace? Their needs amply met and their lives non-laborious? Paradise is not out there, it is right here seeking to be discovered and possessed. Humanity must move through this age of greed, control, and exploitation in order to arrive at its ultimate destiny.
The time we speak of is not yet, but it is soon coming. So our loving, caring advice to you, the children of this planet, is to pay attention to the lessons that are being offered so that as you move through the earth changes, you might be water on a still lake rather than waves down a rapids.
This concept is not intended to create fear or confusion but is offered from the perspective of an older sibling seeking to teach the lessons they have already learned. We assure you, there are many worlds and all have experienced the same challenges in different manners to the ones you are experiencing now.

The ongoing crisis at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has turned into what one analyst calls "a slow-moving nightmare," with fires, leaks of poisonous radiation, and mass evacuations.
With events shifting quickly, and a sometimes confusing succession of announcements coming from authorities, it can be hard to get a clear sense of exactly what's happening, and of what to expect going forward. So here's a rundown, based on several recent news reports, on where things stand five days in.
What's at the root of the problem?
Friday's earthquake and tsunami caused power outages across northern Japan-- including at the Daiichi plant, which is made up of six separate reactors. The loss of power caused a failure of the reactors' cooling systems, which normally keep the nuclear fuel from overheating and melting down and/or triggering an explosion, releasing poisonous radiation into the atmosphere.
What's the current situation at the plant?
Yesterday, an explosion caused the containment vessel covering the Number 2 reactor to crack, releasing into the air a surge of radiation 800 times more intense than the recommended hourly exposure limit in Japan. The accident reportedly damaged one third of the fuel rods at the reactor. In addition, another powerful explosion blew a 26-foot- wide hole in the side of Number 4 reactor, causing fires to break out and a pool containing spent fuel rods to begin dangerously overheating.
The Japanese military tried to use helicopters to dump water from the air to cool the Number 4 reactor, but that plan was abandoned after a third explosion -- this one damaging the roof and cooling system of the Number 3 reactor -- because it would have meant flying a helicopter into radioactive steam. Water was also poured into the Numbers 5 and 6 reactors, suggesting that essentially the entire plant could be at risk of overheating.
In what appears to have been an understatement, the plant operator described the situation at the Number 4 reactor as "not so good." But in some ways, the rupture at the Number 3 reactor is especially troubling, because it's the only reactor that uses plutonium as part of its fuel mix. If absorbed into the bloodstream, plutonium can stay in the liver or bone marrow and cause cancer.
How much of the surrounding area is likely to be affected by the radiation?
The government has told the roughly 140,000 people who live within 18 miles of the plant to stay indoors, but has said that people outside that zone can safely go outside. However, some experts have accused the Japanese authorities of underplaying the severity of the crisis. The U.S. embassy has recommended that Americans within 50 miles of the plant evacuate the area or stay indoors.
Tokyo, 180 miles south of the plant, has recorded radiation levels only slightly above normal. Still, both France and Australia have urged their nationals throughout the country to leave, and many Tokyo residents have been staying indoors. One American couple living in Tokyo told family members that they don't yet see a need to leave, but are monitoring the situation closely.
What other ideas are being considered?
In what experts describe as a last-ditch effort, police are hoping to use a water cannon-- usually used to quell riots--to cool the nuclear fuel. Officials have also proposed using boric acid, which can help slow nuclear reactions by absorbing neutrons.
On Monday, 750 workers were withdrawn from the facility, leaving a core of 50 to battle the crisis alone while exposing themselves to potentially deadly levels of radiation. But even those workers appeared to have been withdrawn today after a surge in radiation caused by new explosions made the area too dangerous.
What are the best- and worst-case scenarios?
The best case scenario is that efforts to cool the fuel rods succeed, and damage to the surrounding environment is limited to an area within about 15 miles of the plant. The worst is a full-scale meltdown of the reactors caused by overheating, which would release much larger amounts of radiation into the air than has yet occurred. In that case, the damage could potentially approach the level of the Soviet Union's 1986 Chernobyl disaster. Fatalities from Chernobyl's meltdown were not closely monitored, but estimates range from 4000 to close to one million.
How does the crisis rank, in terms of nuclear plant accidents?
On Saturday, Japanese authorities ranked the incident a Level Four on a one-to-seven scale used to gauge the severity of nuclear accidents. But things have worsened since then, and yesterday France's nuclear authority said it should be classified as a Level Six. Chernobyl is the only Level 7 accident ever to have occurred.

Hello to you all...
We wanted to write and share a channeled message from Gabriel about recent events, such as Japan's earthquake and tsunami.
On the subject of Japan -
The message concerning the upheavals that have been taking place within political systems and with the Earth herself is actually quite simple.
You are moving into the influence of much higher energies from what we will call the Photon Belt. This is creating a major upheaval of all lower, dense energies, particularly where there are dominant energies of oppression. Those places are being majorly affected at this time.
You have reached a point of critical mass, which will result in the Earth going through accelerated changes. This comes as a result of the accumulated stress mankind has placed upon her. She is now reacting.
The "ley" (energy) lines of your planet are shifting, influenced by both the photon belt and the adjustments of the ascended mastery. They are making shifts in your planetary grids based on trying to create a new balance in all relationships on the planet.
The 7th Ray of consciousness is also influencing this move into balance... which first creates a breakdown of all the old systems that are out of balance. If systems (individual and collective) are not concerned for the good of the whole, the new energies will cause a breakdown - simply revealing the truth of what is out of balance.
You have created a worldwide connection of consciousness now, on a technological level and on a relational level of interdependence with one another in a way that has never been. The world economic system is one example. When there is an upheaval in any one part of this interdependence, there is a ripple effect.
This is all a perfect part of encouraging the unification process. It is revealing that you are all connected, not separate.
Your planet has been in a primitive level of consciousness and self-interest is one of the primary motivators that is causing the initial rise of people to help out. This is all a part of the Divine Plan, using where mankind has put itself in separation to the advantage of the forces and elements and structures of your planet.
If it is emergency situations of survival that are required, so be it... to bring people together into a common bond of connection and concern for the human condition.
This is one way of awakening people to a new direction or pathway aligned with the new 7th Ray, which will quickly influence the collective planetary personality.
This is all operating within your freedom of choice, but not so much on a conscious personality level, but it is mostly the individual soul consciousness that is seeking to to inspire from the depth of your soul plans. These energies are rising in each of you, in an attempt to prepare you for soul integration.
This will result in you growing into the potential and experience of valuing the good of the whole, encouraging you all to take responsibility.
The unified field will be realized on your planet one way or another, guided by the Divine Universal Plan.
You can choose how you integrate this... consciously or unconsciously. In the past, it has mostly been through a reactive, survival consciousness. This is the end of that cycle on your planet, and it is often going to be extremes that are required at first to get your attention.
This again is encouraging you to respond and grow in compassion. There will be a growing synthesis of consciousness that is awakening common man to your personal power.
On another note:
The recent bill that passed, which is starting to outlaw people's ability to grow their own food is the world management team seeking to take over the world's food supply. For example, Monsanto is manipulating the DNA structure in seeds and is creating patents for these seeds as a part of that plan.
These events are all happening to encourage your awakening. There will come a point where people will need to stand up and say, "No more." You need to take responsibility for yourselves, to set boundaries. This is what is happening in other countries. You are all playing parts that can help one another to awaken.
There is nothing like self-satisfaction and narcissism to keep people in a "dream state" of inactivity... wanting merely to be left in the comfort zones of personal gratification.
To shake this up is what your present level of consciousness is requiring. This is a part of being in a wounded child's consciousness and fearful limitations. The opportunity lies in waking up to claim your adult, empowered potential as sacred, spiritual beings.
It is no longer going to be possible to remain as children saying to the system, "Take care of me."
We encourage you to wake up and grow into your power and potential, loving and valuing one another.

Greetings all. First of all, I think we can all agree there is so much happening now since the ninth wave began worldwide and beyond. After catching up on todays news, I was a bit taken back by all the action. I have had many premonitions lately of coming events, disasters, and the aftermath. It is a bit of an uneasy feeling, but remember to remain calm and ask your higher selves for guidance. If you are called upon to make a quick decsion in wake of a disaster, look ahead and try to see the future implications of your choice. This way you will make the best choice possible. I honestly feel something significant is coming, through channelings, available data and my own gut feeling. As for an update on celestial events, meteor showers and auroras will continue through the 11th, solar activity remains extremely high as there was an X class solar flare today, directed toward earth. So expect even more solar energy beaming down to us! Now, onto some more images. I was able to get a few pics of the sun today, peeking out behind the trees:

Geomagnetic activity will be high today, look for more spectacular auroras in the northernmost hemisphere. Also there have been 4 new close approach meteors discovered in just the last few days, all will be at closest approach from March 6-8, one was seen on the 3rd as well, described as a luminous green fireball! There is something I've been thinking lately, which has to do with feminine vanity as well as personal hygiene and looks.
It's very normal for women to dye their hair these days, my mom does it, my sister's do it, my aunts do it, I do it, gosh everyone I know does it! Well every woman I know.
I know it cannot be very good for me, after all I imagine those chemicals activating the coloring soak through your scalp and perhaps get into your blood stream.
"Last year on December 1st, a ban on 22 hair dye substances issued by the European Commission, a body that drafts legislation for the European Union, took effect. Of course they are making hair dye as safe as possible, but let's face it they still have to seal hair dye with a good profit so the major brands aren't gonna go all organic and safe - no don't see that happening anytime soon.
I started using this shampoo & conditioner that was organic and bio degradable, very good for hair, head and nature, but not stellar on dyed hair. I got a gift to the hair salon, to get my hair dyed with few colors, it cost bloody 100€ so I thought I'd get the salon quality dyed hair shampoo & conditioner, L’Oreal’s something Professional. Now I didn't see the difference right away it took about a month, but I noticed a lack of interest. Thinking back I can point to what did it. It's interesting that after dyeing my hair ( which I admit I do every two months or so at home ) at the salon, then buying chemical shampoo after getting use to of my organic shampoo that I noticed I wasn't quite so interested in spiritual matter as I was in my first half 2010.
It happened to be a giant bottle of that shampoo, so it is still in use, and I am seriously considering of dropping them, the conditioner as well.
On that note I am considering stopping dyeing my hair - which is a much bigger issue of vanity ( can't imagine I know a lady who would disagree that dyeing is done due to vanity ) and much harder to do. I recall I spend four months not dyeing my hair until I couldn't take it any longer and gave in.
Of course there is the organic way and brands, but how is that any different when you get down to the point of vanity and altering your looks?
Why do I need to look different, or specifically be a certain tone of brunette?
Spiritually speaking I do not see any need for that.
Vanity's point of view is different of course! Finns are known to have this interesting hair color in the shade of ash. Yep - not really pretty under the current standards, where colors are pure and dark and hair needs to be glossy. I recall a hairdresser telling me how my normal hair color was a pretty brown but just dull and not glossy. I didn't think much of it then, and agreed - but I bloody well want to like my own hair! If it happens to be the color of field mouse then be it, it doesn't change anything about me, doesn't change who I AM.
I have been searching some Finnish blogs and there seems to be a trend currently of bringing back our natural hair color, Yay! I don't mind at all jumping into that bandwagon and taking a ride. One lady even went as far to say that natural Finnish hair color can seem exotic to the non-Finns. ( http://pupulandia.indiedays.com/2010/05/10/hiusvarien-taisto-maantie-vs-toffee/ ) LOL! That's a very good positive attitude!
Also I asked my husband if he would develop symptoms of panic and get urges to divorce me if I stopped coloring my hair, his answer was fairly simple although repeating it I will remove the sexual context for younger audience, 'As long as you women have long hair, were all good...'
Should be a test worth taking, huh? A little dare.
Alright I dare you, Niina, to not dye your hair for a year. To use organic shampoo & conditioner and not spray your head with chemicals.
I would like to not dumb myself down with product of vanity, not lose interest and to be lighter just by knowing I am doing the right thing by my body. I'm ready to enjoy this adventure of a life organically, just as my body was created without messing with the basics. Now a nice shirt or pair of shoes is enough of a decoration!

Belated Valentine’s Day to you all!
As of this writing, barely 95 weeks to planetary ascension remain. The time draws near for ‘d day’, and as the clock ticks the elements of earth, water, air, fire sustain their exhibition of furious tumult to dramatize the need for change.
For this month alone, we were witness to the following phenomena: (a) storms in the USA/North America accompanied by ice and snow (earth element for solidity), (b) floods and super-storm down south in Australia (water & air elements), and (c) volcanic eruptions and the New Zealand quake (fire element).
We also witnessed the social turbulence in the Arab states, turbulence that may escalate over the next few months in case of deadlocks among competing parties. This is fire element descending down the terrain of social relations, fomenting greater democratic space.
Political landscapes in the Arab world had changed enormously in the months of January and February alone, change that has provided ample signals to entrenched political groups to pack up or face the might of organized chaos. The point of no return has been reached in the Arab world, in the same way that a point of no return has been reached in the death of the money economy in 2007.
February is the 2nd month of the year, and the number 2 signifies change, mutability, dynamism. It was on a February when the Marcos dictatorship was overthrown in 1986. In like vein, changes have happened this February alone—at the intrapersonal, interpersonal, transpersonal levels—that merit our attention and deep reflection.
Amid the stormy changes, just the same the Ascended Host continues to scale up the mobilizations and preparations for the coming ascension. Enormous energies of love, healing and reconstruction have been sent to the Earth anew by ascended Masters sitting en banc, which bodes well for us all down here.

Every time we see a “first” in something that makes the world a better place, it is considered to be a special moment. Jetstream Wind continues to work relentlessly to bring as many of these special moments to you as possible.
Remember back in 2009 when the Obama Administration put forth the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act? It included over $70 billion in direct spending and tax credits for clean energy production and clean energy transportation programs. It was a special moment, not because of the huge price tag associated with it, but because it shifted the landscape of energy intelligence.
With this shift also came the green light to start putting into place the foundations for the future structure of the new energy industry to begin building upon.
If obstacles like poor pre-planning, monopolization and population growth have been the deterring factors in a more natural energy transition over the long haul, then political lethargy has been the main obstacle for widespread commercialization in the short-term (as the technical side has become well established). Meaning, the technology has been developed but hasn’t been implemented because of slowed legislation due to the lack of common knowledge and goals. It’s comparable to working through a vast maze to find the center, but the maze changes as you move through.
As these new foundations have been being put into place through our political systems, the complications have arisen when government and political figures aren’t brought up-to-date on state and national energy policies and have a lack of knowledge as to what technology is ready for market and how it works. It has created a certain lag or gap in overall implementation time as industry knowledge has trouble getting to our state and federal levels for ultimate action. And the reason for this is: There are ten billion other pressing issues that are currently in need of time and attention.

Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) have been designed to provide states with a mechanism to increase renewable energy generation using cost-effective, market-based approaches. An RPS effectively creates market demand for renewable and clean energy supplies by requiring electricity providers to obtain a minimum percentage of their power from renewable energy resources by a certain date.
Currently 33 states in the U.S. have or are in process of enacting RPS policies.
Tax Incentives
It’s easy to see that clean and effective technologies can easily offer environmental and social benefits, but utility owners/operators often decline or discard renewable projects because they are used to thinking only in terms of enormous, conventional power plants and respectively need incentive to expand that thought.
To assist the targeted RPS policies, state and federal renewable production tax credits or “incentives” are being put into place that will tremendously assist the development and deployment of renewable energy technologies in the United States. These are essentially created to give an economic boost to those who place clean energy technologies on their properties for energy production and sale. They provide developers with critical and essential financing for their energy projects, while at the same time investors purchasing the credits also acquire tax relief.
(A tax credit is different than a tax deduction because a tax credit reduces the tax dollar-for-dollar. A deduction, on the other hand, only deletes a percentage of the tax that is owed.)
These are designed to reduce the state and federal income taxes of owners of renewable energy projects based upon the electricity generated by wind, biomass, landfill gas, wave energy, hydroelectric, geothermal, municipal solid waste, hydrokinetic, tidal, wave and ocean thermal energy sources (which is measured in kilowatt-hours) of grid-connected energy developments.

Getting the clean energy projects to move from the manufacturing line to the farm takes time, energy and focus. It also takes brave people in both politics and industry to astutely map together a template that will house the best of our new technologies with the flexibility to adjust as needed.
Hydrogen production is steadily gaining ground and set to explode due to clean energy production. In addition, the upcoming surge of fuel celled vehicles will arrive on the market and obviously will be requiring fuel very soon.
Seeing this, Henry Herman, CEO of Jetstream Wind, Inc. and VP of Government Relations Eric Martinez have written the Nation’s first Hydrogen Fuel Production Tax Credit Bill to assist in the industry application of clean hydrogen production technology. This bill is sponsored by Senator Carlos Cisneros (D) of New Mexico.
It is designed with clear benefits not only to investors and property owners and producers, but also to the local and state economy by bringing in new green businesses to assist in providing additional jobs in an unsteady economy. The tax credit will be in effect for ten consecutive years and unused portions of the incentive can be carried over to the next taxable year.
But here’s what I like about it: The hydrogen must be produced renewably. It has, historically been produced as a bi-product or through stream reformation…bad for the environment. And then REALLY bad for the environment if our “clean” cars are going to be utilizing it.
This bill has already gone before and passed the Corporations and Transportation Committee with Mr. Herman and Mr. Martinez standing steadily beside it. It will next go to the Senate Finance Committee for passing votes, and then to the Senate Floor to become New Mexico law.
We thank Senator Carlos Cisneros for his foresight around this important and needed legislation for a clean and bright energy and environmental future for us all.

Planet Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Most archeologists say that humans have been here for about 200,000 years.
But a little over 100 of those years ago (really a blink of an eye) the words “energy” and “transportation” were, overnight, put into the mainstream of human thought. And through the last century, have morphed their way into a world-wide intricately linked yet problematic component to our lives.
It’s generally agreed upon that the major causes of the problematic nature in our energy and transport systems are due to the lack of proper pre-planning, monopolization and rapid population growth. If these are indeed the causes that have brought us to this rather strange funnel situation and stunted our intelligent energy development, then fine. So be it.
Not much that can be done about what has already taken place in the past – it’s knowledge gained which allows us to move on and utilize that knowledge to create a better future because of the past.
And, if you think about what the future will look like, then simply check out what has occurred in just the past couple of years. The problems caused to the environment from energy production and transportation have occurred in a splinter of time comparatively, but from our limited perspective have been happening our whole life - They didn’t just start - Yet, in the past couple of years, they’ve become a very important factor for life continuing on planet earth, thus upping the momentum of interest accordingly.
If you take a look ten years into our future what do you see? Do you honestly think that people are going to continue for another ten years to throw the planet under the bus like is being seen in a theater near you? Don’t think so…the knowledge that has been gained has people stepping up in record numbers and sustainable practices are increasing steadily.
Because of our colorful past and the knowledge we’ve gained, the future of energy will undoubtedly include planning a structure that has the ability to adapt to various technologies in all locations in an environmentally neutral way.
Eventually, the future might be in producing clean power locally and regionally for our energy needs and commonly for our transportation needs. What will that look like? Who knows…we seem to be making it up as we go.
The Element of Surprise
A common misperception is that when something is complicated, it’s also intelligent. But that’s where sustainable nature begs to differ. According to nature, the simplest form of energy is the one that is everywhere already. It is one that doesn’t require massive alterations to deliver massive results.
It is the simplest and most plentiful element in the known universe, which makes it where to begin when looking at energy and energy production.
Hydrogen is a carrier element and is the gift from nature that makes energy sense in numerous ways. It is found in all growing matter including biomass. When hydrogen is combined with oxygen it becomes water (H2O). When it’s combined with carbon it forms other compounds, including methane (CH4), coal, and petroleum. On the other hand, and through steam reformation, hydrogen atoms are separated from carbon atoms in methane (CH4) to create more hydrogen.
If two hydrogen atoms combine, (the isotopes of hydrogen) for example, helium forms and fusion occurs (like the Sun but unlike current fission reactors which produce high-level nuclear waste and weapons grade nuclear materials). Why is this important? It is because hydrogen is helping the science and technology communities to create fusion, which quite possibly, will be the most effective and efficient form of energy production known to man. Exciting!
For our transportation needs, hydrogen fuel celled cars are a must as are electric cars. It will take a few years to have on-demand hydrogen gas stations dotting the map, at the same time as it doesn’t appear that the current electric grids will be able to support the addition of every car being electric and having to plug in every night. Isn’t it great though, that transportation, like energy is de-monopolizing offering you a choice as to which application might actually work best for you?
Clean energy is a “must have” on the plates of the majority and the appetite for more is growing exponentially.
All of the clean energy technologies are welcome in today’s marketplace in order to locate the ones that will transition us with the most ease into an eco-intelligent race able to sustain itself without falling apart at the seams. At the same time we are searching for and locating those few unprecedented exceptions that are so simple we know they are correct because they echo nature.
This is human intelligence echoing planetary intelligence. Good stuff…:)

Why does eating local, organic foods matter?
You can't really start a conversation about this with intelligent person without the topic of pesticide and genetically modified foods coming up. Thank god for that! I'm sure people are aware, they know for example that eating MSG ( monosodium glutamate ) potato chips isn't good for you, drinking aspartame ( poisoning and side effects ) diet drinks isn't good for you.
It is unfortunate that all this crucially important information comes through conspiracy theorist - it tends to loose momentum at least ten fold due to it. If a raving guy on youtube presents these facts of what is in our food, and how oestrous it is to give this to us, by the time he mentions "The Elite" or "New World Order" ( what is NWO ) people huff and puff and look at something else.
I believe in Integral point of view. Each and everyone has truth some more than others, but we all have truth in us. Conspiracy theorists know because it comes naturally for them to search news and books on details of how mankind is getting sucker bunched. They run into things that pass through main news like water through sieve, without much of a look from the public. So the news reaches a small amount of people because of the ravings including what ever is popular at the moment.
What Food and People need is a serious documentary ( writing this I wonder has Michael Moore delved on this yet ), we need a serious channel to tell us what is going on so that most people can be reached, without people telling them Bush is new satan. A documentary of substance, of hard facts, news articles, studies.
There is so much information out there for people to see if they would just look.
I've had to train myself to watch some of these exposé videos on food, drugs and controlling our living environment, I've had to learn to listen to the facts and block out the conspiracies just to keep up with what's good for me and what is not. ( this is why you see me post these videos on psychological drugs, chemtrails, genetically modified foods )
Which is where I get back to the original point - why eat local and organic foods?
Because you know how it's grown, you know if it's genetically modified, you know it is purest you can get, best for your body, mind and soul.
Do your best to buy clean normal foods, organics when you can, local and close by - and say no to genetically modified seeds and cancer inducing pesticide through your vote on who takes a seat in your government.

I have been drinking Diamond Water for a few months now, and I can see a huge improvement in my overall health, I was having some aches and pains in my bones, as a result of the process of change we are all going through, and I set the intention in the water to help me with that. I forgot about it till today, when I thought of posting this for you guys and I realized I am not in pain anymore. Wonderful! WHAT IS DIAMOND WATER ?
It is spring water which has had its vibrational rate accelerated; this allows it to access higher Life and Intelligence, making it available to respond to the user's intentions.
The technology used to transform this spring water uses the science of numbers as well as music, which is living geometry based on sound. The end result is an encoding device which permits the recording of multi-dimensional codes; these transform the spring water into a receiving medium which then captures higher energies.
When you verbalise intentions to bring you relief, well-being or the resolution of your challenges, you can now record these intentions within the medium of Diamond Water. When swallowed, the Diamond Water associates your spoken intention directly with the corresponding memory of opposite polarity held in your subconscious (the body cells). The activity of the Diamond Water then elevates both the opposite poles concerned until they vibrate at a much higher frequency. This induces a neutralising energy which transforms and resolves these conflicting opposites.
Diamond Water, which is represented by the number 999, brings human beings to a point where they can integrate the Third Level of Consciousness, known as "the Consciousness of the Tree of Life". Man thus becomes that Place where the uninterrupted flow of light energy pours through a physical body which becomes an ever greater "supra-conductor".
This Diamond Water is feminine by nature and designed to receive impressions. It cannot be defined using masculine terms such as strength or efficiency but rather in terms of "loving and wise responses".
The strength of this water resides in its response to the "sacred verbalisation of our intentions" (see ALCHEMY OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT by Kryon, French edition by Ariane, Quebec, p.266). Diamond Water is virgin - nothing is recorded in it. Only when you vocalise your intentions through the heart - which purifies them - will you impress them upon this strongly responsive medium. The results will depend directly on what you imprint upon the Diamond Water medium and the degree of emotional charge behind it.
Diamond Water's level of consciousness operates beyond the fourth dimension. In effect, positive - negative polarity does not exist at this level. If anyone attempts to measure this level of consciousness and its activity on a dowser's scale (or any other calibrated scale), the only thing measured will be positive or negative output resulting from the dualistic memories of the user, as re-transmitted by the Diamond Water.

These codes resemble the coded information found within human DNA strands. The tool is thus called DNA 8.5.0.
The basic apparatus measures 5 cm x 3 cm and when placed in a glass of water will, after 1h1/2 hours, produce an altered structure and vibrational rate within that body of water. I have called the water concerned "Diamond Water."
Diamond water has the ability to reproduce its structure and vibrational rate indefinitely, provided the simple guidelines. My guides have explained that, in the Diamond state, water becomes both fully intelligent and fully loving. In this state, it acts as a translation medium for the user who is consciously pursuing his own path to the Light. It cannot be misused. Its use is simple. The user holds a glass of Diamond Water in his hands. He then clearly states his intention - out loud - to understand or resolve a given challenge and speaks unequivocally from the heart. Clairvoyants have then observed that the user's Solar Chakra emits a series of frequencies which are received by the Diamond Water, causing them to appear as series of tiny, coloured bubbles of Light within the water. Following extensive use of this simple method both by myself and many others, experience leads us to confirm an accelerated resolution of problems which were caused by blockages contained within the user=s cellular memories. When these individual challenges are addressed consciously to the Diamond Water, with the intention of resolving them, the mechanism of resolution is set in motion on a level which cannot be interfered with. When we consciously ask the Diamond Water to accelerate the erasing of the subconscious memories which trigger a given problem, these hidden trip-mechanisms, which block relationships and all kinds of situations, are effectively defused.
This method allows an increasingly rapid reduction in the level of burdensome cellular memories. It thus allows a shift in the balance of the struggle between the Soul and the human ego, progressively allowing the Soul to regain its rightful dominion over the ego.
My personal feeling is that Diamond Water is now contributing to the supply of energy which is increasingly feeding the Human Consciousness Grid. As it can reproduce itself indefinitely, I believe that its effect will rapidly become exponential.
I have also produced a slightly larger glass cylinder. Once Diamond Water (which is specifically for human consumption) has been produced by the smaller cylinder over a twelve-hour period, this can be removed and replaced with the larger cylinder, also for a 12-hour period of its own. The larger cylinder then adds a second series of codes to the water which becomes specific for consumption by vegetal entities. I have simply called this Diamond Vegetable Water. It reproduces itself in exactly the same way as Diamond Water. It can be used upon anything from household plants to trees and its cumulative effect will, I believe, benefit the Collective Vegetal Consciousness Grid of the Planet.

Like a drum roll before the big moment, the Sun blasted out numerous smaller blasts of particles to the right before it unleashed a large, bright coronal mass ejection that was associated with an M-1 (medium-sized flare) during the period Jan. 26-28, 2011. SOHO's C2 coronagraph caught all the action. A smaller blast caused by an erupting filament flew out from the Sun's opposite edge almost simultaneously with that blast. In the still, we superimposed a Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) image of the Sun in extreme UV light taken at about the same as the coronagraph image.

Kowalski of the Catalina Sky Survey will pass by Earth on Feb. 4th around 19:40UT at a distance of 11855 km. 2011 CQ1 will not hit Earth, but it will pass well inside the Clarke Belt of geosynchronous satellites. AFTER THE STORM: US skies are clearing in the aftermath of this week's monster winter storm. But "clear" is not the same as "empty." Sky watchers are seeing an unusual number of sundogs. Doug Koehler photographed these yesterday in Davenport, Iowa:
"These brilliant sundogs appeared in the early morning sub-zero fog just off the Mississippi river," says Koehler. "They lasted about 20 minutes before fading away. The camera doesn't do justice to how colorful they were."
Sundogs and their cousins, sun pillars, are caused by ice crystals in the air. And if there's one thing North Americans have a lot of, it's icy air. Indeed, the dog and pillar show is likely to continue for at least six more weeks.

What is cloud dispering? or rather why can we do it. I do it all the time and is funny because it seem so normal (which it is in a way)but to someone who is close minded and skeptical it is a big deal.What are the mechanics of cloud dispersing? I think i my own mind, that held in the intnetion to disperse the cloud, are all the mechanics you need to do it. But if thats true, wouldnt be the same for controlling wind, flames, and liquid H20.

I thought it may be fun for those who are not familiar with Feng Shui, to offer a few basic pricipals which would be fun and easy to implement into your homes. Feng Shui, literally translated wind & water, is an ancient Chinese art of placement. Implementing Feng Shui cures into your home helps to balance elemental energies and create a harmonious flow of energy throughout the space. There is a Chinese proverb which I love that says, to change your life, move 27 things in your home! How simple is that! :) Doing such a simple thing can help to stir up energies in stagnant spaces creating a positive flow. The main tool imnplemented in Feng Shui is the Bagu'a Map. To: U.S. Congress
WE THE PEOPLE of the United States of America, pursuant to the Bill of Rights, Amendment One, which gives the right of the American people to petition the United States government for a redress of grievances, hereby state the following:
WHEREAS, unmarked aircraft are daily painting American skies with bio-hostile substances; and
WHEREAS, aircraft which carry no identifying markings can not be identified as American and are, therefore, presumed to be hostile aircraft; and
WHEREAS, these unmarked aircraft have been proven to be emitting substances which drift to the ground and are hostile to the health and well-being of American citizens;
THEREFORE, it is concluded that Americans are, and have been for years, under attack and have become the victims of BIOCHEMICAL WARFARE.
FURTHER, the United States government has allowed, and is continuing to allow, these unidentified aircraft to release harmful substances over American soil, which have been proven harmful to the American people; and

THEREFORE, it is presumed that the aircraft either belong to the United States government and are operating under the direct command and with full knowledge of the United States government or, in the alternative, the United States government has knowingly and willfully conspired with an outside, hostile group to allow harm to American citizens.
THEREFORE, it appearing that the United States government is violating numerous rights of its citizens and in so doing is in a state of treason against its citizens, it is up to the American people to exercise their rights and hold the United States government accountable for its actions or inactions, as the case may be.
CONSEQUENTLY, the people of the United States of America declare the following,
TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT: Pursuant to the Bill of Rights, Amendment One, we, the people of the United States, declare that we are grieved over the presence of "chemtrails" in the airspace over the United States and hereby petition the United States government to take immediate action to cease all chemtrail activity in the airspace over the United States of America.

Most parts of the United States today are experiencing heavy weather. Snow is falling in nearly every state. The report of snow in Hawaii and a winter storm warning for the state show the effects of La Nina. There is an average of 6 inches of snow on the ground. Over 71 percent of the ground within the United States is covered with snow. People are applying for personal installment loans to research and predict future trends in weather patterns also. 8,000 feet in Hawaii with snow
The tropical islands of Hawaii are well known. You will find still very high mountains. It is normal for snow to be on the 13,500 high peaks of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea in Hawaii. Still, snow is at 8,000 feet. That is how Hawaii is treading currently. There will be very heavy rain within the lower elevations, and flash flood warnings have been issued in most Hawaiian cities. After Hawaii has had 2 yrs of a rough drought, it is seeing a lot of heavy rains.
Snow in 49 states
Florida is the only state within the nation that doesn't presently have snow on the ground. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, 71 % of the country is covered in snow, to an average depth of nearly seven inches. The southern states have had a hard time with road traffic. The snow has been hard. There isn’t typically snow within the southern states. This is why it is uncommon to discover snow removal equipment or safety equipment around. Northern states are having problems too. They don’t have enough snow equipment around. New York State and New York City seem to be in the same predicament. The snow removal has the city shut down.
Last year it happened too
It isn’t that unusual for practically all of the 50 states to have snow in them. This happened before. Just last year it was happening. Warmer air is what the cooler Pacific waters are hitting as a result of La Nina. That means areas that are warm generally are getting winter storms. A La Nina cycle can last up to 2 yrs, making this second year of heavy snows explainable, though not entirely usual, given that 2010 was one of the warmest years on record.

Jan. 11, 2011: Scientists using NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope have detected beams of antimatter produced above thunderstorms on Earth, a phenomenon never seen before.
Scientists think the antimatter particles were formed inside thunderstorms in a terrestrial gamma-ray flash (TGF) associated with lightning. It is estimated that about 500 TGFs occur daily worldwide, but most go undetected.
"These signals are the first direct evidence that thunderstorms make antimatter particle beams," said Michael Briggs, a member of Fermi's Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) team at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). He presented the findings Monday, during a news briefing at the American Astronomical Society meeting in Seattle.

Fermi is designed to monitor gamma rays, the highest energy form of light. When antimatter striking Fermi collides with a particle of normal matter, both particles immediately are annihilated and transformed into gamma rays. The GBM has detected gamma rays with energies of 511,000 electron volts, a signal indicating an electron has met its antimatter counterpart, a positron.
Although Fermi's GBM is designed to observe high-energy events in the universe, it's also providing valuable insights into this strange phenomenon. The GBM constantly monitors the entire celestial sky above and the Earth below. The GBM team has identified 130 TGFs since Fermi's launch in 2008.
"In orbit for less than three years, the Fermi mission has proven to be an amazing tool to probe the universe. Now we learn that it can discover mysteries much, much closer to home," said Ilana Harrus, Fermi program scientist at NASA Headquarters in Washington.

The spacecraft was located immediately above a thunderstorm for most of the observed TGFs, but in four cases, storms were far from Fermi. In addition, lightning-generated radio signals detected by a global monitoring network indicated the only lightning at the time was hundreds or more miles away. During one TGF, which occurred on Dec. 14, 2009, Fermi was located over Egypt. But the active storm was in Zambia, some 2,800 miles to the south. The distant storm was below Fermi's horizon, so any gamma rays it produced could not have been detected.
"Even though Fermi couldn't see the storm, the spacecraft nevertheless was magnetically connected to it," said Joseph Dwyer at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Fla. "The TGF produced high-speed electrons and positrons, which then rode up Earth's magnetic field to strike the spacecraft."
The beam continued past Fermi, reached a location, known as a mirror point, where its motion was reversed, and then hit the spacecraft a second time just 23 milliseconds later. Each time, positrons in the beam collided with electrons in the spacecraft. The particles annihilated each other, emitting gamma rays detected by Fermi's GBM.
Scientists long have suspected TGFs arise from the strong electric fields near the tops of thunderstorms. Under the right conditions, they say, the field becomes strong enough that it drives an upward avalanche of electrons. Reaching speeds nearly as fast as light, the high-energy electrons give off gamma rays when they're deflected by air molecules. Normally, these gamma rays are detected as a TGF.

But the cascading electrons produce so many gamma rays that they blast electrons and positrons clear out of the atmosphere. This happens when the gamma-ray energy transforms into a pair of particles: an electron and a positron. It's these particles that reach Fermi's orbit.
The detection of positrons shows many high-energy particles are being ejected from the atmosphere. In fact, scientists now think that all TGFs emit electron/positron beams. A paper on the findings has been accepted for publication in Geophysical Research Letters.
"The Fermi results put us a step closer to understanding how TGFs work," said Steven Cummer at Duke University. "We still have to figure out what is special about these storms and the precise role lightning plays in the process."
