The Happy Monk
A young man in search of happiness heard of a wise old monk that was enjoying a happy life. So he went to see the happy Monk, who he found in the garden. He approached him as the Monk was weeding and asked, "Please,Brother, would you show me how to enjoy life?" The Monk stood up, "I am busy weeding the garden." Then knelt back down and began weeding again. The young man left and came back the next day as the Monk was cooking his dinner. Again, he inquired, "Brother, please, can you tell me how to enjoy life?". The Monk took a deep breath as he inhaled the aroma of the stew he was stirring and replied, "I am busy cooking dinner."
The man left and came back for the third day, asking the Monk one more time, "Please, Brother, share with me your wisdom of how you are so happy and enjoy life." The Monk shrugged his shoulders and sighed, "I keep telling you but you aren't listening."

Excel At Being Tranquil
Written by Behram Ghista
Buddhist teacher Behram Ghista tells us that our innate wisdom will reveal solutions only when we learn to remain calm in the face of difficulties.
I believe the tragedy for most people lies not in their avoidance of the unpleasant aspects of life, but in their inability to give triumph a chance, through facing difficult conditions wholeheartedly.
Do you suffer from a hostile takeover of your body and mind, by stress hormones? Well, what if you simply decided, once and for all, to gain mastery of your life by maintaining your equipoise in the midst of life's challenges? How enjoyable would your life be then?
Do you long for a hassle free life and sometimes ask yourself if such a goal is attainable? Suppose you did achieve this impossible dream: wouldn't that achievement be the greatest hassle you could inflict upon yourself? How sturdy, innovative and clear-sighted would your responses to life's curve balls be if you existed within some kind of silken cocoon?
Dispel your desire for a "wrinklefree" life, because eventually you will have to embrace and gain mastery over the inevitability of dealing with abrasive realities. So don't put your wishbone where your backbone ought to be.
Free yourself
In most situations, it is not the challenges that are daunting. What immobilises you is the tightening feeling within you: your resistance and fear of facing something you believe is beyond your capability to transform in your favour. Be confident that you can learn to free yourself from such unwholesome responses to life's inevitable ebb and flow. How? By going through the experience with spirited curiosity as to how resourceful you can be in each particular "invitation" to better yourself. No challenge is a problem, unless you choose to make it so.
Apply diligence to learning how to excel at being tranquil, because this will facilitate your opening up to that which is difficult, frightening and unpleasant, through illuminating novel solutions awaiting your appraisal. Understand that life is constituted to be the way it is and you don't have to be perturbed about it. Accept this fact, and you will liberate yourself from the fatigue and frustration that comes from swimming against the current.
Remain steady
Amid life's vicissitudes, be wise: remain steady and centred in the fullness of your spiritual inheritance. If you are unable to do this, the daily biochemical baths of your emotional turbulence will constrict you, leaving your problems unsolved and joyous occasions unclaimed.
Instead of fleeing when things seem to overwhelm you, learn to seize the day and gather what treasures you can from it. It is not people or circumstances that cause you grief, or trepidation: it is your own estimation of these realities that creates turbulence in your life. Learning to relate with love, gentleness, appreciation and understanding for "those things" and "those people" that are part of your life, you will increase your skill in flowing gracefully through life's peaks and valleys and everything in-between.
Gain clarity
Consequently, in all tasks you undertake - even if they are urgent and demand great care - consciously avoid allowing them to agitate you. Nothing is worth putting yourself through inner turbulence in your attempt to tackle the issue at hand. Maintain your equipoise; stay calm, regardless of what despite what the situation seems to be demanding. In a calm, more relaxed state, you can be in full cognizance of your strengths: you will be able to receive the clarity needed to deal with any faulty assumptions you may have, and you will move beyond them.
Choose to be impartial to your trials and tribulations, while at the same time celebrating life's persistence in perfecting you to the point of being the best you can be.
Giving full attention to the environment in which you exist and refining your actions daily will help you deal with the challenges of the moment in ways that will astound you.
There is really no greater joy than excelling at being tranquil, by taming your dragons and harnessing their power to be completely free. What would you be like, if you started today to really make the most of the rest of your life?

Hey there dear Lighty friends,
This is just a follow on from Cindy’s blog http://lightworkers.org/blog/164116/day-after-day-out-time. I would just like to reiterate what Cindy has expressed in her most recent blog. That 3D has passed.
For a couple of weeks now, I have been feeling slightly unusual. Not physically out of sorts, just that I didn’t feel so connected to Source or to my HS, I kind of blamed this anomaly on a lot of the planets in our solar system being in current retrograde (retrograde Mars, always has a profound effect on me, especially communication wise). I really felt I was losing my religion - my spiritual mojo lol. Today, I have my ‘groove’ back – thank goodness.
Last night as I went to bed, before falling asleep, I begged my guides to send me a message, just to confirm whether I should stick with the ‘way’ or not. I was seriously considering throwing it in as nothing appeared to be resonating with me at all of late. Before long, I fell into a deep and fitful slumber. In my dreams, I was taken to all sorts of wonderful places and met some incredibly and extremely loving Light beings. Upon awakening, I gently heard these words murmured in my ear, ‘It is over. It is done – you have always had a choice’.
All morning I have been pondering and contemplating the above words - as I was sipping my morning cuppa in the sunshine, the penny finally fell into place. Of course, it was blatantly obvious - two paradigms now presently exist on earth. The 3D and the 5D – both are as real as the other. They both cohabitate on this planet in cohesion, two parallel dimensions. It makes complete sense and is quite practical, that this should be a transitional period, where we can all comfortably intermingle and exchange with both dimensions if we choose. That goes for every being on this planet.
As I looked around my garden and my little cats basking and happily playing in the sunshine, I realized something profound. Gaia and every plant and animal has now already moved onto the 5th D, we humans are reluctantly lagging behind, because of our innate fear of change. This is why we have currently been given the option between the two realities. Eventually, the outdated paradigm of 3D will be phased out slowly. Somehow I get the impression that the parallel dimensions are now 50/50 - equal and in complete harmony and balance with one another.
We have been given the choice to operate just as effectively between the two dimensions. How wonderful, that we have been gifted this window of opportunity because, like many here, there are still some things that I’m strongly connected and attached to in the third dimension, that I'm not just quite ready to let go of yet. We have all been given the chance to smoothly and convivially adapt to our new environment. Indeed, we ARE loved.
Much love and happiness to you all

I have a funny story to share with you guys.
I swear I couldn't make up this stuff, it just happens in my life.
I moved to another state and my driver's license expired as well as my car plates.
I was driving around rather illegally.
Everytime I got in my car I was really conscious of my state of mind.
Always trying to keep my vibrations high ,not trying to give in to fear of getting yet another ticket...
I had misplaced both my passport(needed to get a license) AND my car title(needed to get my plates).
It was weird, like they disappeared...like I was not destined to drive or something...like a test of some kind...
So finally I was able to get them both and was awaiting Monday to go get everything and finally be a legal driver.
Lately I constantly see 211,311,411,(etc) as well as 555.
The one I call the magic number of change.
On the way to get my license I remember wondering what the number was going to be of my plates.
I remember thinking wouldn't it be funny if I got 555?
Well she approved all my paperwork and told me I had two choices of plates and she held up the first one...numbers 555.
I could't believe it!
I grabbed it.
Only one choice for me, I didn't even look at the other one that closely.
I just started laughing, kinda like a mad woman I am sure, right there at the DMV.
I told the lady of the significance of the numbers for me and she could't believe it.
She said she didn't even know about angel numbers(that is what I call them).
She was going to google them when she got home. : )
So now I drive around with my "manifested" plates.
With a smile on my face.
I have a feeling they are triggering awakening memories to those that happen to be driving behind me and see them.
Even if they don't register consciously, numbers have a wonderful way of expanding our consciousness and giving us affirmations.
I will say though that when she pulled out that plate I did freak out.
It was too much almost LOL!
And so goes my life.
Everyday is an adventure.
Some days are wonderful and some days suck eggs.
And every once in a while something magical happens that gives me solace for those days when it is hard to keep myself up.
Now I can just walk to the garage and look at my plates.
Just looking at them makes me laugh and raises my vibration.
Wonderful affirmation.
555- change is rapidly approaching...
Thank you for being here with me my family and letting me share my quirky story.
It is wonderful to be here with you.
In Light and Love
We all shine so bright!

Welcome to Brenda's Blog
Channeled by Brenda Hoffman for www.LifeTapestryCreations.com
Title of last week’s “Brenda’s Blog” – her free, weekly, channeled blog for www.LifeTapestryCreations.com: ”How are Your Food Cravings Changing?”
Special Event: Brenda will be the Tuesday August 7 , 8 pm (Eastern) guest on Rick O’Shields’ “Everyday Connections” show for www.BlogTalkRadio.com
Dear Ones,
This week will be a duzzy! Even though you may laugh at our out-dated slang, we wish you to understand that this shift will be joyous, radiant, fun or even silly – but of gigantic proportions.
Did your heart race a bit when we described the size of this week’s shift? Did you not think, “What trauma do I need to adjust to now?” Do you continue to believe that change is negative and chaotic?
Why do you believe falling in love or the birth of a child is wondrous event; and yet expect that all other change must include caution or fear?
Let us review your fear belief patterns – or more to the point for this blog, your beliefs about change. Even though human existence is constant change from birth to death, as you call it, you believe that stability is possible – even a desirable quality. At what point in your earth life did you decide that change automatically introduced negative aspects?
Many of you question our line of thought. Do you not look forward to a job offer, school graduation or falling in love? And do you not wait in great anticipation for that day when you are no longer called a baby, teen-ager or an unexperienced adult? So at what point in your life did you begin to fear change?
Change is constant within your being for how else could you – as you call it – age? But now that we discuss more physical change than you anticipated twenty years ago, are you not a little fearful?
What does it mean that the chemical make-up of your cells is shifting or that you have increased your active DNA strands? What do we mean when we relay that your physical appearance is changing? What if you are no longer considered attractive by your peers? What does it mean that many you now interact with will become less interesting? Will you be isolated? What does it mean that you will increase your intuitive, New Age skills? Will you be outcast from society for your odd thought patterns? How will your new life/new being be accepted by society?
As you change physically, spiritually and emotionally during this New Age transition, so are those moving on a similar path. You are afraid that you will be alone – something that did not necessarily occur to you when you reached puberty. You knew your body was changing – maybe not as fast or faster than you wanted – but you knew those changes were inevitable because your friends and family informed you that such was so.
The difference between puberty and this New Age shift is that there are no history or biology books to refer to. And no friends or family who have experienced similar changes. You feel as if you are alone. The opposite is true.
This New Age shift is open to all ages, races and genders. This is a shift of tremendous proportions.
Let us return to your thoughts of fear as you age on the earth plane. The older you become on earth, the less trusting you are – a thought most of you will agree with. Why do you suppose such is true?
The longer you live in the dense, fear-riddled environment of earth, the less likely you are to remember the joys and love of the Universes. Granted, there are positive thinkers among you. But even the positive thinkers are quite adamant about signing specific documents before purchasing a home or moving to another community.
Most of you are thinking that such is merely prudent behavior – but why? Eons of fear have created thought patterns of how best to protect yourself from injury or failure. You were an excellent Old Age student if you accepted that someone was out to get you – and so they probably were. The Old Age was a fear-based society.
The New Age is not fear based. The New Age is a return to the security you felt the first few days on earth. Perhaps you were hungry and someone fed you. Or cold and you were wrapped in warm blankets. Perhaps not. But you started life on earth expecting to continue the feelings of joy and abundance you left shortly before your entry to earth.
In the Old Age, you had to shift your belief processes to fully assimilate to earth’s vibrations. But at earth death, as you call it, the reverse was true. You even often created your own hell shortly after death because you had difficulties accepting that other dimensions and locations were love-based.
It is time to understand how deeply buried your fear belief patterns are – and how those patterns affect your movement into the New Age. If you believe change is fearful or most often negative, your shift will take longer. You will be part of the shift, but perhaps not at the same pace as someone who meets change with less fear.
All of you have some fear about this transition. It is impossible for you to fully accept all that is happening now because you started this earth life in fear. That is not to say you cannot return to a life of joy without moving through fear: as much as it is understandable if some of your movements into the New Age are more in fear than joy.
Those pieces of fear are not part of your New Age transition, but merely pieces of the Old Age floating about your being for a while.
You cannot expect to shift from one thought pattern to another – especially one that has been deeply ingrained in your being for eons – in a few hours or days. Perhaps you have observed your 14 year-old act very childish some days and mature other days. He is merely testing his resolve and his new abilities while mourning for the freedom of childhood. Such is true for you. You have practiced your Old Age skills for eons. Even though you very much wish to move into the joys of the New Age, at times your Old Age skills and actions are much more comfortable than is true for those of the New Age.
Do not fear. Your shift is inevitable – just as is true in puberty. You merely need to remember that your shift is not frightening or limiting. It is a glorious new set of skills with more freedom than you ever imagined. But then, just as is true in puberty, it also holds some responsibilities that seem too difficult some days.
At 20 years of age, would you ever want to return to the toddler stage? But at 14, such a thought seems enticing at times. And so it is for you now. Some days it is just easier to return to the comfort zone of the Old Age. Nothing new, nothing to fear and quite comfortable like a very old pair of shoes that no longer fit but you know how to place on your feet so they do not hurt very much. You will soon want to toss those old shoes out – but you will do so when it is right for you.
You do not need to fear the New Age – anymore than was true for puberty. But then, puberty was forced upon you via your physical changes and societal pressures – an outer-directed push into maturity. The New Age is an inner-directed push that will be perhaps less noticeable to others physically, but more so to you internally.
You are changing. This change is not to be feared, but observed in amazement and joy. Knowing that all are changing – just at different rates and times. Behavior that might seem outlandish to society this week, may be extremely acceptable next week. For indeed, as you are changing your belief patterns so are others. The key is to find your fear belief patterns and shift them according to your inner voice.
Protesting the Vietnam war was radical thinking in the early 1960′s and mainstream thought in the 1970′s. And so it is now. Observe your fears. Keep those fears that feel right and discard those that do not. That is your power. That is your freedom. And that is your joy. So be it. Amen

I have come to believe that I am a starseed and not from around this here neck of the woods.
Have felt this way since my earliest recollections as a child.
I accept it now.
Have no idea yet where my neck of the woods are...
It is my understanding that Gaia sent out a call to the Universe back when all the nuclear testing and such started.
The reality of global destruction became a posible timeline for this planet.
The call was asking for souls to incarnate upon this earth to help raise the vibration of the planet so that it would not be destroyed.
Together with the souls from earth, we are all helping raise to collective consciousness of this planet to usher in a new way of being, one with all.
Gaia is ready to ascend and those souls who choose to experience ascension have an option to do so with her in this timeline.
Some will not choose the ascension timeline and will move on to the experiences that they feel is what is needed for their soul growth and expansion.
So my thought is this...
How are the starseeds any different from all those galactic federations channelings and such?
All those guys who say they are going to come down here to earth and save us?
Make everything alright?
We are all adamant that No One is coming to save us.
We are who we are waiting for.
But then is that not what starseeds did?
Come down to this density to help "save" Mother Earth?
Isn't that some sort of intervention or something like that?
Outside interference?
How can I say that there is no one from the outside that is coming to save us yet I myself have come from the outside...?
These are my thoughts today.
I am so glad I could share them here.

Hey there dear Lighty friends,
In the wake of the recent tragic and horrific shootings at a movie cinema in Colorado USA, I would like to comprehend an issue that needs clarity from another perspective. This particular issue pertains to the US Constitution and their Bill of Rights, where US citizens declare they have the ‘Right to Bear Arms’.
Now I just wish to make this point clear, I’m not a US citizen, I do not own, nor have I ever possessed a firearm for personal use and I’m not familiar with the laws in the USA relevant to gun ownership. All I wish to convey is an objective opinion, as an outside observation if you like. I have no intention of being uber critical in regards to this matter.
I can’t count how many times the world has bore witness to these firearm crimes, which seem more prevalent in the USA – Columbine, Virginia Tech, just to name a couple of these incidents that immediately come to mind. I know there have been many more. Now this obscene tragedy – when is enough is enough is enough?
There have been previous blogs posted, suggesting that the above incident was a staged scenario by the PTB in an attempt to disarm the populace of the USA. I’m not disputing this idea - it may well be the case. However, I do regard it rather an anomaly that statistically, one country can possess more personal firearm weapons, than the entire population per head. I find that ratio highly disturbing indeed.
Now I’m all too aware that these shooting massacres are not exclusive to the USA – only last year, the world watched in absolute horror, when Anders Breivik, shot and killed 77 adolescents and seriously wounded 55 in Norway.
Even in my country Australia, we are not immune to gun toting crack pots, I refer in particular to the Port Arthur Massacre that occurred in April 1996, when a disturbed young man, went on an indiscriminate shooting spree in Tasmania and killed 35 people and wounded 23. I remember it as a moment that shocked, stunned and appalled our nation. How could something so atrocious occur in this relatively passive part of the world? The Australian people were instinctively outraged and demanded immediate action from our current government, to prevent this kind of atrocity from ever happening again. This kind of thing has never happened in our neck of the woods, this was something that you would read about and watch in the media - that was more likely to occur in the USA, where guns are considered more like a fashion accessory and so readily available and easy to purchase.
Consequently, in 1996 the Australian government, initiated the extremely successful ‘Gun Buy Back’ scheme and outlawed personal possession of semi automatic weapons. Australian citizens willingly co-operated with this government initiative, and freely surrendered their firearms. Of course, there were certain provisions made under the law, which allowed legal licensed possession of firearms for commercial use – such as law enforcement, professional hunting, farming and the like. Hence, our firearm offences have dropped dramatically and are now basically non-existent. Naturally, there are a few exceptions to the rule, where the trade in illegal firearms now poses a more immediate threat to our security. However, it is now extremely difficult to obtain a gun in Australia. The likelihood of being shot and killed in Australia is incredibly low by comparison to other countries where gun laws are much more lax.
What I don’t understand is this. Why do USA citizens feel the need to possess a firearm? Is it because they live in fear? Just because their neighbor may have a weapon, does that substantiate the excuse to obtain a gun? Just in case a gun maybe used against them? How can US citizens feel personally secure, with the knowledge that there are more firearms out in their society than there are people? Wouldn’t it make sense, that your society would be a lot safer if there were no guns on the street?
I’m aware that the ‘Right to Bear Arms’ maybe an ingrained cultural phenomenon – however, we all know that weapons are used to perpetrate violence and violence only begets more violence. I am also aware that the NRA are an extremely strong political influence in determining the decisions of the government in the USA. So how do we peacefully and civilly remedy this situation for the future?
Wouldn’t it be reassuring to know that as a citizen of the USA, you can confidentally send your children to school, go to a shopping mall and the movies, without the the needless fear of being shot and killed?
Much love and happiness to you all

As you travel through life there are always those times
when decisions just have to be made,
when the choices are hard and solutions seem scarce
and the rain seems to soak your parade!
There are some situations where all you can
do is to simply let go and move on,
gather courage together and choose a direction
that carries you toward a new dawn.
So pack up your troubles and take a step forward.
The process of change can be tough.
But think about all the excitement ahead,
if you can be stalwart enough!
There could be adventures you never imagined
just waiting around the next bend
and wishes and dreams just about to come true
in ways you can't yet comprehend!
Perhaps you'll find friendships that spring from new interests,
as you challenge your status quo
and learn there are so many options in life,
and so many ways you can grow!
Perhaps you'll go places you never expected
and see things that you've never seen,
or travel to fabulous, faraway worlds and
wonderful spots in between!
Perhaps you'll find warmth, affection and caring,
a "somebody special" who's there
to help you stay centered and listen with interest
to stories and feelings you share.
Perhaps you'll find comfort in knowing your friends
are supportive of all that you do
and believe that whatever decisions you make,
they'll be the right choices for you!
So keep putting one foot in front of the other
and taking your life day by day.
There's a brighter tomorrow that's just down the road.
Don't look back, you're not going that way!

Chose to go on from here.
Got very sick yesterday again, and I chose to let her go.
The vet euthenized her this morning.
She is back Home now.
She is a very beautiful soul and even though I know she has not left me, it hurts really bad.
She was my beautiful connection to the feline race.
She just decided it was time to go.
Everything from my old life is quickly disintegrating it seems...
But I know we will catch up to each other again,I am so happy she is no longer feeling ill.

Hello
I am trying to reach other beings like my self who seem to have a deeper understanding reality. I often find my self intentionally forgetting what I understand, so i can function in this backwards society. I have yet to meet some one with my form of logic. I have read about star seeds, and have participated in a online test that claimed that my aura was indigo. My question can be summed up to this: Am I alone out their, are are there really beings out there that are not just acting to be enlightened or empowered?

Now is the Time to Awaken to Your Spiritual Connections
Beautiful words of love and wisdom channelled by The Crystal Team through Lindsay
At this auspicious time in the Earth’s history, following the events that have been prepared for you, dear ones we can reveal that all is on track. That the light is building in line with the magnificent Divine Plan laid down for you all eons of time ago - although we do say that time is irrelevant, that time only exists in your time, space reality, as you have devised it in your earthly plane. For time really has no meaning or relevance in the Universe, for all is continually moving, arranging and re-arranging in the most glorious way.
And so following the magnificent energies that have been sent down to your beautiful planet, things, events, happenings are all occurring that are moving things on in a glorious way. The eclipse recently was a magnificent sight and created wonderful changing energies for all those who witnessed it through whatever means in reality or on your magic lantern TV sets.
These massive changes in energies are creating wonderful ‘mind shifts’ for people on conscious and unconscious levels, they are stirring those memories within their DNA, within their cellular structure and within their crystalline grid.
We are all one, all part of the same
For as you know dear ones, as you are beginning to reach a level of understanding that we are all one, that we are all part of the same, that we all share the same ‘space’, the same energies, that we all originate from the Great Provider, then we all share the same internal structure and how can it be otherwise when you know that many of you originated from planets far, far away from your current home.
And as you understand with the Lemurians that their energies originated from Orion, Neptune, Sirius and The Pleiades that they chose to have that wonderful experience on Mother Earth, then you too have chosen to have your current experience on Mother Earth at this time too.
With all the glorious magnificent changes occurring, you are experiencing what you came here to experience. Your population is so large at this time for all the number of souls who wished to experience this current great wave of spiritual assistance, light and wonder, as it was agreed with Mother Earth and the Galactic Council that this number of people could exist in a physical body on the planet at this time, although this is not sustainable for the long term, but it is such a magical time to experience and so, so many souls chose to be on your Earth to join in this magnificent experience.
So given that you chose to be on Mother Earth with her good grace and acceptance or ‘tolerance’, then why not make the best, the very best of this opportunity? A choice made from before your manifestation on Earth, a choice made after consultation with angels and higher guidance beings for you to manifest and grow and learn from this time on this beautiful Earth.
And so we have a balance of Mother Earth on her journey, her own personal experience and journey to ascension and the agreement to tolerate the massive growth in population at this time. However, with the imbalance of energies experienced by Mother Earth over many centuries, some cleansing needs to be done to assist her on her journey and these will appear as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis and more manifestations of her cleansing process. Some of this is also due to her own clearing process for energies can become imbalanced through all manner of ways as yet unseen by your-selves.
Reconnect to your inner being
And so with this agreement this understanding, this awareness, now is the time to awaken to your spiritual connections to your purpose for being here, reconnect to your inner knowing, your inner wisdom, your inner heart and inner being. The inner being that knows, the inner being that is waiting to expand with joy, and love and harmony and honour and respect and appreciation of all that is on offer, of all that is available to you all.
The wonder, the magnificence, the sheer joy and jubilation that is available and ready for you to access as you reconnect to those memories, those forgotten times when all was great and amazing, where everyone lived together joyfully, respectfully, harmoniously and happily making decisions for the good of all including all living beings and Mother Earth. This connection dear friends, is within you all, it is ready to burst forth, to expand and to be realised that the magnificence of the Divine Plan is there for you to link into and join in the special time in the Earth’s history.
As with the Lemurians, who enjoyed a high vibrational existence on the Earth, who left little evidence of that existence, who lived in such joy and harmony with all that is reconnect your energies to this wonderful time, and know that elements of this existence are already stored within your system, they are there to be reconnected to, to re-feel that sense of wonder of joy, of love and awe and the beautiful energies of the Atlanteans through our dear Atlantean Crystal Master. Reconnect to this wonderful time where much information is available on advanced technology, on crystals, on living a spiritual life within a physical body.
Reconnect to these energies, feel the joy and the laughter
Sit quietly dear ones and allow yourself the time to reconnect to these energies, feel and sense the connections, feel the joy and laughter, the love and harmony of these energies stored within the memories of your cells. Remind yourself that you have chosen to be here at this auspicious time for this very reason and desire to gain the most from this experience.
Know that by reconnecting and expanding these connections, you can feel such joy radiating from your very essence, the joy of remembering these wonderful energies, the joy of opening and allowing yourself to make these connections stronger, deeper, more expansive and know that this is the right thing for you to be doing right now, at this very time, here and now in this very dimension.
We share our joy at the wonderful events happening, the light of the Olympic torch travelling through the country on its way to London, bringing in the Light, taking it around the country, being seen by so many people cheering, clapping, smiling, all the good-will that this is creating, the bringing together of people for a common purpose, joyfully, respectfully, harmoniously.
Opening and expansion of the Earth Star Chakra
This light will carry on to London and it is no matter of chance that the Olympics are in London this year. As the light enters London – the Earth Star Chakra of your beautiful planet, light, good-will and love will flood in to London and anchor in the Earth Star Chakra, allowing it to open, expand, flow and fulfil its purpose in this wonderful occasion.
All the events for the Jubilee Year all bring in light, love, community togetherness; all these wonderful events when people work together for a common purpose; a purpose for the good of all, a purpose for all to enjoy and benefit from.
The outpouring of energies in London and around the country is magnificent. Join in these energies whenever you are, feel the sense of love, excitement, wonder, anticipation and good will that are created and know that these events also are part of bringing in the light and the love as part of the magnificence of the Divine Plan, share in the wonder, the awe, the Divine Light and Divine Love that is available to you all and know that events are expanding in the most perfect way and so we leave you for now, with our greatest love and blessings”. ….

I don't know about you guys but I know that for me I am standing between two worlds.
Something major shifted on the morning that the x-flare hit the east coast.
Something major shifted within me.
It was like I let go of being human and joined a different consciousness somehow...
I don't think I ever felt I was from here, even as a child...
(By human I mean the souls that are part of the consciousness of this planet.)
Or maybe I just expanded my consciousness.
Have not figured it out yet.
On the morning of the x-flares I went out to sit by the ocean at the pier by my house.
My legs felt so heavy,I could barely walk.
Then I became so nauseous.
It was very intense.
I felt like I had received a huge download.
At one point I remember looking at the surf and the sea looked different somehow, it was like I was seeing somewhere else...
Have not figured that out yet either...
Since that incident I feel like a huge integration has taken place.
I went to the store today and felt like I was acting being human, trying to fit in.
I am playing the part of being human and trying to remain incognito sort of.
I am trying to perfect the art of being human maybe...
I am human yet I am not...
Not really feeling being a part of 3d earth anymore.
At all.
Does anyone else feel this way?
Oh well...
If there is one thing I know it is that whatever I am feeling today will be completely different by tomorrow...
I know for sure that change is the constant in my life.
Gotta ride this wave out.
Stay centered and reach out to others with my High Heart.
Stay out of fear.
Shield myself.
Love the life I am living.
Believe that I am helping to co-create a new world.
Believe in myself.
That is what my heart says.
Thank you my Light Family for sharing these amazing times with me.
I feel you in my heart at all times.
We ALL shine so bright.

Just a few days ago I celebrated my birthday and reflected here on the site on all that entails in a blog entitled Birthday Blues or Birthday Bright. Among those reflections were thoughts of my friends, extended family and acquaintances, the majority of whom I have not seen for over a year. As far as my friends were concerned my thoughts revolved around what I might have been doing with them if we were all still in the same place - I moved away just over a year ago.
I hadn't just moved physically away though, I moved emotionally and mentally too. I left to begin another life and when that life turned out to be less than I might have hoped for I chose not to contact even my best of friends. I didn't want to hear 'I told you so' or even to let them know how miserable I was. Gradually I'm coming to terms with the new life I chose; I may not remain in it but that's a decision for the future. The point is, there I was on my birthday reflecting on what I could have been doing if I was still at 'home.'
Two friends in particular were likely to have shared that day with me. I would have stayed over at their house; enjoyed a fantastic dinner watched and worshipped by 4 cats and 2 dogs all waiting for treats from the table; shared wine and cheese after; enjoyed a stroll down to the village pub to greet acquaintances there; slept like a baby in the tiny, narrow, squeaky guest bed if any space was left to me by an adoring greyhound and then shared a leisurely breakfast at the perfectly small cafe/shop in the village, sharing the morning's gossip with others as they dropped in. But I didn't...and just yesterday morning I received the news that my dear friend Norman had passed at 4.30a.m that day. Missed opportunities, life is full of them isn't it? So now I will be going to visit but not in any way I would wish for. I will spend time with my best friend Sheila and mourn the loss of her husband. Dogs and cats will be subdued and there will be no boisterous walks in the woods for them or hungover breakfasts at the cafe for us. Even the geese, ducks and chickens that attacked Norman regularly to Sheila's great amusement will stay quiet for a day I feel, as an entire village reflects on the life of this real character.
So, if I had known what the days ahead held would I have gone? Yes, undeniably. But what this teaches me is that none of us can truly foresee our road or how others will cross our path. The best we can hope for is to walk our road in expectation. In expectation of joyful events, in the expectation of seeing our friends, family and acquaintances at every opportunity and sharing happiness with them while we can. To know that if we do so we need never look back with regret at a 'missed opportunity.'
In just one week's time I'll be going to a christening too as a new life in the world is given a name in front of those his family hold dear. I have my reasons for wishing to be just about anywhere else but at that christening, but I'm not going to wiggle out of it. I'll celebrate the new life and hope that it has a blessed journey, that it knows little of pain or grief or petty quarrels. I'll put aside the ridiculous quarrels that are mead and meat to his mother and be there, smiling, for the sake of her brother-in-law, my partner. It will also be the 99th birthday of his grandmother and so a joint celebration, so for that day I'll give his sister-in-law's petty dislike of me to the Universe and enjoy an opportunity taken.
So there it is, my birthday, the death of a friend, the christening of a child as yet unknown to me whose mother couldn't care less if I drew another breath and a celebration of 99 years on this earth - so many many lessons to be learned there.
And what of the compassion of strangers? I would normally stay with my friend Sheila but I could not even dream of adding to her cares with a house guest while she arranges a funeral, attends to guests, comforts family and mourns her husband even though I know she would try to make room for me. So I tried to find accommodation nearby. And then of course we arrive at the cosmic intervention. The old school house opposite Sheila's was a B&B but was recently sold, so with little hope I found a number online for the place, although still under a Properties For Sale listing. And there you have it, a friendly voice answers the phone and tells me they bought the place in April and it is now being turned into self catering apartments, and yes she could make one available for me if I didn't mind a little bit of disorganisation as they're not really open yet. She didn't know Norman had passed and was sorry to hear it but yes, she knew Sheila, having spoken with her several times since moving into the village. Absolutely I could stay, for several days if I needed to, and no, she wouldn't hear of me paying for it...
I could not express my thanks enough for her kindness. I expect that I'll probably spend a deal of time with Sheila at the house anyway after family have gone home but this lifts any obligation Sheila might feel to put me up, allows me to be there and on hand and gives the family a space to grieve.
Spirit has given me this opportunity, not to take the place of the one I missed but to have another chance to spend time with my friends and acquaintances; to share memories of our friend; to renew the bonds of friendship; to comfort; to sit across the table from Sheila in compassion, warmth, humour, reflection and loving friendship with a rug of animals and to know that Norman's spirit is there with us to raise a glass to friends.
Opportunities are moments in time, seize them before they pass. Love, light and blessings.

Dear Ones,
This is a difficult time for many because of your determination to do ‘it’ right.
You have devoted many lifetimes preparing for this transition. Now that it is here you want to be absolutely certain you are doing all you can to ensure its success.
This transition is already a success beyond anything you or we envisioned.
But many of you have morphed into the Old Age motif of work, work and more work. Even though such is no longer necessary.
Perhaps you believe work is required because others cannot see what you want them see. We beg to differ. No matter how you clean, dress, interact with your loved ones or diligently work on a project, everyone’s vision is changing. Those you wish to impress will see what they need to see.
Let us explain. Perhaps you are selling a house and feel the need to clean every corner. Your buyers do not see the corners, they are awestruck with the beauty of your home. You believe they care about minutia, while they are looking at the ‘big’ picture.
Those who want the environment you are ready to leave will sense that it is emotionally, spiritually and physically correct for them. Just as is true for you. For you to believe that they will not feel – merely see – your home, is for you to believe you have more skills than do they. That is not true. Granted, many have not yet acknowledged their new skill sets, but they are accessing them knowingly or unknowingly.
How does this concept apply to work, family, school and other segments of your daily physical life?
In the past, you needed to push or work to find a job whether your needs were the correct salary, environment or required skill set. To maintain that job, you often worked in fear not joy. In your Old Age beliefs (and perhaps reality), one wrong step could end or negatively impact your job. You were on edge or in the flight mode of the fight or flight model.
If you have not yet experienced the shift, we will predict your future work world. You will accept employment in companies that feel right to perform a job that delights your being.
Those of you now feeling ‘stuck’ in an unpleasant situation, must decide how, if at all, you can create a pleasant experience; or if you need to find another environment that nurtures you emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Many believe such is not possible in this job market. We beg to differ. You have new skill sets and it is time to use them. Do you believe that there are no jobs available that would bring you joy? Or are you afraid to believe that such is possible?
Everyone is shifting. Perhaps your employer continues the punitive methods that terrify you. What encourages you to stay with such an employer? Money? Fear of lack of qualifications? No other jobs? Complacency?
All Old Age beliefs. Beliefs that no matter how difficult your life – it is better than nothing, or all jobs are the same, or you have to pay the bills no matter what the cost to your being.
Old Age beliefs you cling to despite hopes to the contrary. Anything or anyone who makes you feel less than you are - “My house is not good enough.” “I am not a good employee.” ” No other employer will ever want me.” “My spouse is the best I can find.” – are not New Age beliefs.
None of those fears are joyful – or even neutral. All make you feel less than the god you are. All are Old Age patterns that keep you swirling in pain and fear. Let them go. Let them be.
Now you wish to know how to let go of those fears for they seem real to you – and so they are.
Merely expect joy. Maybe that joy will happen within your corporate division. Or a new product line. Or a buyer will walk into your home and know it is perfect for him. Allow those joyful thoughts to flow.
Relax. Return to joy. Forget your fears. All will work out exactly as it is meant to for you. Does that mean you will remain at a company you dislike for months or years? Only if you find joy in that company. Otherwise you will find another source of income that is joyful.
Many of you have time lines – this must happen by this day.
Remember you are powerful gods – your inner-being will direct activities in time frames that are most correct for you.
Perhaps you need to stay at a company a bit longer to meet that someone who is going to change your life for the better. Or there is a new opening within the company. Or it is time for you to search for another job KNOWING that you will find employment in a more loving environment.
Trust. Believe. Expect. That is your New Age life.
Trusting yourself to move into joy and away from fear in the way that is correct for you.
Those of you who enmeshed yourself in physical, emotional or spiritual fear during the recent eclipse cycle, have cleaned those corners. It is time to release, to accept and, most of all, to EXPECT that you are ready to move into joy.
Sometimes students are amazed they graduated given all they thought they did not know. Such is the case for you now. The corners are clean and your being is ready physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Allow yourself to accept and expect joy in all areas of your life – including your children, your employer, your significant others and any areas that have moved you to pain or fear in the past few weeks. It is over. You have graduated. You can do no more. You are ready to move to joy college.
Your only concerns now are what part or parts of your joy being you wish to emphasize. Your Old Age fears are cleared and cleansed. You have graduated with honors. There are no more papers to write or fears to face.
Those of you who requested extra fear work during this eclipse phase have completed it. It is done. Now expect to live in joy and shift your belief patterns accordingly. So be it. Amen.

First and foremost I want to thank all of you who shared your Light with my cat Ruby and with me.
She is responding well to treatment and the vet is very pleased.
I have not had internet for about the last 3 weeks while I got settled in at the little house by the sea.
I was able to post the blog about her from my phone but the connection was not good.
The internet and my connection to the outside world was severed and I became very adept at going within to hear my inner voice.
To say I have had a lot of deep clearing and letting go is an understatement...just like everyone else who is going through these incredibly strong energetic times...
But I missed the daily contact and spiritual support that I get from this wonderful website.
I missed my Light family.
And I wanted to let you guys know.
I feel you in my heart and I am so thankful for everyone here.
Thank you my Light Family for sharing this time with me.
We are ALL shining so bright.

Happy Tuesday Every-One ~
Sharing some more personal observations about life which I found in my notebook from 2008.
" To live one's life as 'who you are' and not 'what has happened to you.' The situations that have
occurred in one's life - grief, sadness, separation - are just that - situations. They are in
the past and are events that have happened often out of your control.
" The main thing is not to lose yourself in the depths of sadness, and also lose control of the
fundamentals which make up your character. Do not let the grief dictate your entire life and
change you into someone you may not eventually recognize. " 25/4/2008
Life is tough - tougher for some depending on where you incarnate and what family situation
you incarnate into. Some just learn to survive and do what they can each day to provide what
they need, and some souls are gifted with material needs, often far more than needed.
When you look into both life situations, there are lessons to be learnt. Having too much or not
enough has within it extremes which need to be balanced by the soul. Not everyone is aware
of the lessons while experiencing everyday life, it is how the soul handles their personal life
situations that is the key to awakening the spirit within.
Through living life's extremes, it is amazing just how much wisdom is revealed from going deep
within and accessing the inner Light. We see this time and time again through people in the
'public eye' who have come through adversity by showing courage and inner-strength that they
probably didn't know they had prior to the situation they find themselves in now. Looking at this
through spiritual eyes we can see why some individuals come out of very difficult and sometimes
life-threatening experiences with glowing faces and a calmness that is evident to all.
Building inner-strength is necessary to survive this lifetime on Earth. Choices are very important
as to how to approach our life and what it throws at us. Connecting within is the way to connect
with the strength that is like a bottomless pit within each soul. What brings this strength to the
surface is dependent on each person - whether they choose to play the role of each situation,
or to give up and succombe to the energy of defeat. Believe it or not, life's trials are sent to us
in order to strengthen our resolve and teach us of the wealth that is within. Everyone posesses
it, it just needs your awareness to access it. ~
~ Love and Blessings to All ~

Knit one – Pearl one – Knit two ------clickety clack
Hey there dear Lighty friends,
Just in case that first line didn’t make any sense to you – I had better explain. I’m following a knitting pattern – after an extremely long hiatus, I’ve literally turned into a ‘knit wit’ once again lol.
Lately I have felt compelled to resurrect many ancient skills and feminine crafts that had been lovingly and with much patience, taught to me during my youthful years by my dearest grandmother (now deceased) and my mum.
I nostalgically recall, once upon a time, a long, long time ago, being a very young and enthusiastically, devout student of the clever hand crafts of spinning wool, knitting, crochet, embroidery and sewing. Funny, how during the course of time, these skills fell by the wayside in forsake of time convenience, it appears to be so much easier to go a buy a jumper or a dress from a store, rather than sitting for hours following a pattern and assembling it all together.
As a child, my mum made all our clothes. During the summer months, she was always knitting or crocheting a garment for us kids to wear in winter. When she wasn’t knitting, she was at her sewing machine, whipping up smart dresses and beautiful seasonal outfits for my sister and me. It was quite common in those days, for brand new homes to have a ‘sewing room’ – it was regarded as a real feature. Mum was a beautiful seamstress and had her own ‘sewing room’ – it was full of all sorts of wondrous things like, a button tin, full of an assortment of different and eclectic buttons, a fabric cupboard, over flowing with a plethora of luxurious material. I would spend hours in there with mum, whilst she was creating one of her wonderful fashion statements. I would methodically and meticulously, cut out and stitch up dresses for all my dolls. As I reflect, I know regard this time as very special – a somewhat feminine bonding period between mother and daughter. Almost like sacred ‘women’s business’. I treasure these unique and precious moments in my life now.
As I was growing up, it was considered par for the course, that when we arrived home from school, we were immediately summoned by mum, to the ‘sewing room’, to relentlessly and begrudgingly endure, endless rounds of fittings and measurements for a brand new outfit she was currently in the process painstakingly creating. I absolutely despised doing this, as I considered it a complete waste of my time. I longed to go to the store and wanted nothing more than to purchase a new dress or cardigan with a label on it lol. It was regarded a bit of a status symbol in those days - to actually wear a store bought garment – quite the luxury item that only the really affluent families could afford. Nearly all the kids I knew, wore clothes that were home made.
You know what Lighty’s??? As I look back, I now realize that women have always been so resourceful, resilient and innovative. We’ve always had the knack of making 1 + 1 into 22. From stretching meager rations during the 1st and 2nd WW’s to the Great Depression, to feed an entire family or making ends meet by recycling clothing. Who remembers how to darn a sock or take up the hem of a dress by hand? Sure, I wore HMD’s (hand me downs) – then the HMD’s became HMD’s for your younger siblings – it was just the ‘done’ thing. A warm coat was a coat and a pair of shoes stopped your feet from getting cold and wet. Didn’t matter whether it was fashionable or not – if it wasn’t worn out, it definitely wasn’t wasted.
I find it rather unfortunate that these handy and practical abilities have almost been lost to the younger generation. I was on the train the other day, on my way to the city. I took my knitting with me to bide my time during the journey. A young girl, approximately 15 years of age was sitting next to me. She was utterly enthralled by what I was doing and was very eager to learn, so I gave her a little impromptu knitting lesson whilst we were travelling together. Once we reached our destination, she happily announced that she would pop into a craft store and purchase some wool and knitting needles and attempt to make herself a scarf. I felt very pleased with myself that I had passed on a skill to her.
I also have to advocate and wax lyrical about the meditative benefits of the feminine handicrafts. There is something particularly pacifying and Zen like in repetitive and dexterous hand movements. It sort of congers up images of a gentler and older era, where women would gather in the drawing rooms around a warm fire over candle light with their crafts, embroidering, spinning wool, playing piano, painting, knitting, crocheting etc etc - not saying much but being completely absorbed in what they were doing, their minds drifting off to other places - quite the relaxing pastime indeed but at the same time - also creative.
I now realize that there is something very special about having received something that has been ‘handmade’. I guess it’s the fact that somebody has taken the time and has placed much thought and consideration into personally creating something especially for you with great love – a real personal treasure that possess much personal value.
In case you are wondering, I’m knitting a babies layette (bonnet, booties and jacket) – I’m going to become a ‘Nanna’ for the first time in the New Year. Oops!!! I’ve just dropped a stitch heehee – I think it must be due to the fact that I’m overcome with joy and gratitude. Knit one – Pearl one – each stitch is created with all my love and happiness. Clickety Clack!!!
Much love and happiness to you all

Many years ago I like Yourselves began a journey for Love and Truth. One of the first things that happens is that We get confused. We read whole libraries of so-called knowledge. Nothing feels right. We find no harmony and very soon We try to figure it out for Ourselves. The price We have to pay sometimes is that We balance on the edge of insanity. To avoid going over the edge We have to let go. When We let go something wonderfull happens, the brain gives up and The Heart takes over. Sinchronity takes Us by the hand and leads Us to places We have to go and the things We have to know. Percieving life in the real leads to feelings of great awe and humility. Everything is in perfect Balance. Understanding that We know the only reality is GOD. Why is it that I feel confused ?

A Message of Peace, Love and Joy from Susannah of The Crystal Team channelled through Lindsay
"This message comes from Susannah today to bring you love and peace and joy. Events are changing rapidly; new energies are coming into your Earth plane as old energies begin to fade away. Rejoice dear earth beings for amongst what you perceive as the chaos will come something new, something wonderful and something to cherish. The new ordained, planned energies are of the most special light imaginable and are creating higher vibrations around the planet, they are lifting and clearing the old stale redundant energies as the morning sun lifts the early morning mist. When this happens, the sun bursts through and you know you are going to experience a fantastic day of sunshine, warmth, blissfulness, light and joy. So too my friends, when these energies integrate into the earth energies the sun will burst forth on a wonderful new era.
An era where the light is so bright it chases away the negative, the darkness, the greed, the unkindness, the selfishness. It brings forth light, love, happiness and a desire to link into the energies of your wonderful planet. Your race will wake up to the fact and acknowledge and appreciate that Mother Earth is your home it is the house you have chosen to move to for this experience.
Imagine looking at the details of a house to buy, what would you choose, shelter, warmth, beauty, space, provision all these things Mother Earth provides in abundance. Water, air, beauty, changing scenery, the stored history of your mankind human race, the wonderful sparkly waters, the animals, the food, crops trees the underground heating system, the crystals, all of these provided free of charge; this home, this creation, that you have chosen to experience in this spiritual lifetime. So can you see how when you link into the new energies, the energies of Mother Earth, you are taking in all of this, all of this beauty, abundance, creation and wonder? You are breathing it in and absorbing the richness, the plenitude, the magnificence, for when it comes down to it, we are all energy, we are all the earth, we are all One.
Enjoy the beauty, the explosion of joy and magnificence of Mother Earth and you will feel fulfilled, topped up, energized and amazed.
These new energies are coming in and will help all Lightworkers to move and blend and grow in themselves even though the adjustments may be uncomfortable initially. Your lights will shine brighter and lead the way forward.
As peak oil issues begin to manifest, there will be no choice but to look at alternatives and people will be looking for new ways. Seed thoughts scattered now will begin to grow and develop so they will be strong enough and rooted enough for people to take hold of and turn to. The light spreading out is amazing already and it will get stronger and brighter.
It will be more important to link into our crystalline grid structures to make adjustments and to shift your energies forward. The inner knowing of the crystals that carries the knowledge and wisdom of the history and formation of this planet and by association, of this Universe, is stored in the crystal structure and thereby is stored in your crystalline grid in your cellular structure. See the link dear ones between you and the planet, the link on so many levels.
The cellular structure holds the key, the secret to the link of energies between us all, the combination, the union, the association with the Great Presence but that is sufficient for now we just wish to give you this thought to show you the connections and the concept of Oneness.
So dear earth beings, remember your crystalline structure, your links to the crystalline grid of the earth and the Universe and know that in this essence, in this state of perfection, that we are all one and that all is well.
Link in to my immense, powerful, beautiful sparkly energy, breathe it in, take it in to your crystalline grid to energize, clear, cleanse, regenerate and empower you. Recharge that powerful structure, re-link to my essence and feel the clarity of the energy, the purity of the love, the light and the Oneness. Feel cleansed, recharged, reunited with the all knowing, all seeing, all being, innate wisdom of the crystal form, my essence and your crystalline structure, and go out glowing and shining and bright and happy and know that this reverberates around yourself, your community, your country and out, out, out and beyond into the Universe in all its magnitude and glory. We bless you and thank you, our love as always.”

CANCER
The Deeper (Spiritual) Meaning of Cancer
By: Peter Hinderberger, M.D. www.ruscombe.org/Health%20Articles/deepermeancancer.html
There is a meaning, a message in any illness that we need to understand in order to heal. When we contemplate on the essence of an illness, we come to the deeper meaning of it. The most characteristic trait of cancer is absolute freedom. Cancer cells do not obey any laws set forth by the human body: they multiply without restriction, they take all the nutrients and oxygen they want, and they travel to any organ at will.
This is freedom in the wrong place. On the physical level, every cell and every function of the body need to follow organ specific, strict and predictable laws, otherwise illness and/or pain occur.
On the spiritual level, however, the opposite is true: freedom of expression, creativity, and individuality are the laws we need to follow. There is nobody else on earth who comes close to our individual creativity. Every one of us is unique.
The purpose of life is to express God's love. How can we do this?
First, we have to become conscious about our thinking, feeling, and actions. This is what Zen is all about: mindful awareness in all we think, feel, and do.
The following seven exercises are meditations to raise our consciousness and transform thoughts and feelings into positive energy:
1. Seriousness needs to be transformed into humor
2. Imitation needs to be transformed into creativity
3. Doubt needs to be transformed into faith
4. Hatred needs to be transformed into love
5. Fear needs to be transformed into courage
6. Despair needs to be transformed into hope
7. Wish to die needs to be transformed into will to live

We have all been there at one point or other. The point of no return. That place in where you are faced with your worst fears and nightmares. This is the place in where you question everthing about your self and you realized that your current way of life is really not working any more. You wake up each morning and you say to your self: "Here I go again, bring on another day in which I know I can do better but I am just not doing it". And after many days like this one, some of us are fortunate enough to start looking for a "better way" of doing things. We look for answers, and we intuitively know that the old way no longer serves us and that a change must come in order for us to reach that state of joy we so desperately need or want. But here is a clue for you: We can't achieve a state of joy if we are constantly searching outside ourselves. We already are the JOY, we already are the powerful co creators of our life's experiences. The real work lies in letting go and go with the flow by detaching off of the end result. Joy is within us and feeling joy is being in alignment with source. Alignment with source feels like floating down stream in a calm river. Alignment with source feels like eating a yummy cherry shave ice cone in a warm summer night sorrounded by all your friends. Alignment feels like a first kiss. Alignment is watching a child laugh so lud that it brings a tear to your eye. Alignment is a family Thankgiving Dinner. All of this examples of aligment are experience by us everyday!! We just have to be there, present and aware of them. The only thing that keeps us from feeling Joy is our thoughts, Which are usually either rooted in the past or in the future. The only thoughts that are valuable to us are thoughts of the present moment any other thought is irrelevant to our joy. So in the future you ask your selve, How does alignment with source feel like? Take a deep look at what your thoughts are and you might find that you are experience joy and you just don't feel it because of the thoughts you are thinking.

Hey dear Lighty friends,
I was driving home from work this afternoon, listening to a popular local radio station, when they bought up the subject of Scientology and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes separation.
I must profess, I know very little about Scientology, actually I know nothing at all. I'm really quite ignorant regarding the practice relevant to this faith - I'm only aware that this particular religion receives a lot of adverse publicity in the media. I wonder why? Apparently, Rupert Murdoch (News Of The World and media magnate aka Mr Burns from the Simpsons) has randomely taken to Twitter today, absolutely condemning Scientology - quite a vexatious attack indeed, by all accounts. Very perculiar behavior, don't you think?
Anyway, getting back to the radio subject in question, I thought this was a really odd coincidence, particularly when they mentioned during the discussion, that Katie Holmes was 33 years old and that Tom Cruise's other two wives, Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman, were both 33 when they divorced him as well and there is exactly 11 years age difference between each wife. I'd be really interested to observe the numerological significance surrounding these numbers and whether this has any association with the Scientology faith, or whether they are just applicable to TC.
3 wives
33 each wife's age when divorcing TC
11 years age difference between them
3 + 3 + 3 = 9
9 + 1 + 1 = 11
Anyway, you do the math lol - it goes on and on. I just find it quite weird. 'Curioser and Curioser', said Alice to the White Rabbit.
Much love and happiness to you all

Collapsing the Wave: Creating New Realities
http://www.psychologytoday.com
Some of the remarkable discoveries from quantum physics can be adapted to help us break free from the groove of our past and unleash real change in our lives. The quantum world reveals that light has a somewhat schizophrenic nature. It has the dual capacity to exist either as a wave or a particle. This tendency is referred to as the wave/particle duality. This seemingly illogical notion is naturally counterintuitive and rubs against our common sense of logic. Ordinarily, we believe that things either are or are not. This is not the case here, however.
It appears that when the light photon is not being observed it exists in waveform, but at the moment of observation, the wave collapses and becomes a particle. The act of observing actually collapses the wave. Prior to making the observation the wave represents a state of pure potentiality. That potential only becomes manifest into a fixed state when we look at it. I have come to see that a very similar phenomenon occurs in our lives.
The imprints of certain childhood events, which impact us so significantly, are in fact wave collapses of our identity. As newborns or infants, if not at conception itself, we resemble the potentiality of the wave, waiting for our identities to take shape. Notwithstanding matters of genetics, archetypal and astrological influences, our lives are not yet determined and our personalities not yet molded. Ordinarily, even a single experience is sufficient to collapse the wave and become embedded in our psychic structure. The hurtful word or an embarrassing experience of childhood collapses our potential. At times, it need not be that traumatic and may in fact be quite subtle. Yet, in those moments our potential becomes narrowed and our identity begins to take shape. It's as if we took a snapshot of ourselves that became frozen in time. We are no longer the wave but the particle. And we carry this picture with us through our lives, burdening and limiting our emergence. The themes of such collapses may vary, but they are typically self-denigrating: "I'm not good enough or smart enough" or more simply, "I'm not loveable."
Often, people cling to habituated beliefs about themselves in accordance with their primary wave collapses. In spite of new events, which might cause us to reconsider or re-evaluate our beliefs, we remain rooted in the way we see ourselves and block the opportunity for change. We tend to remain embedded in the groove of our self-referencing thoughts. These beliefs and images typically are borne out of early wave collapses.
How stupid can I be?
Recently, a client shared a telling story with me. Her first day of kindergarten, her mother sent her off to school on her own. She lived only one block from school and her mother incredibly thought she could handle the walk by herself. Upon arriving at the school, she was told that she had arrived too late and would have to miss the entire day. She sheepishly walked home and rang the doorbell. Her mother opened the door and looked at her indignantly. "Why are you here?" she impatiently asked. My client told her mother about the time mistake, and her mother bellowed, "How stupid can you be?" Forty-five years later, this woman still carried a core belief that she was, indeed, stupid. That interaction collapsed a very significant wave and shaped her intellectual image. The wave collapsed and she froze this snapshot. It became a core feature of her personality. Given that our beliefs tend to become self-fulfilling prophecies, it wouldn't be surprising if her performances, both in life and academically, were affected by her belief.
I shared the theory behind wave collapse and she quickly apprehended the notion. I asked her to consider whether it was possible that for her entire life she had believed an untruth about herself. Fortunately, she permitted herself to allow an alternative point of view with all of its accompanying dissonance and considered that perhaps she wasn't intellectually inferior. We visualized a new wave collapse in which she was told that she was indeed smart. Of course, this necessitated her embracing her discomfort as she moved beyond the limits of her familiar zone. Our work then focused on helping her break free from the addictive tendency of her thoughts to malign herself. Her progress from that point was most impressive.
I'm not loveable
I have been working with a middle-aged man who, because of childhood interactions with his parents, collapsed impressions of himself that instructed him that he wasn't loveable. His life, until recently, created experiences that bore out this belief. However, very recently a woman with whom he has fallen in love has, in fact, decided that she, too, loved him. As he was inclined to remain in his primary collapse experience, he resisted this new information. I attempted to heighten his opportunity for change by highlighting the dissonance around this contradictory information. If, in fact, his lover found him lovable, might he indeed be loveable? I encouraged him to collapse a new perception of himself. By making this choice, he permitted himself the opportunity to select a new observation and collapse a new wave of experience.
Breaking free from the predictability of the wave collapse requires uprooting the repetitive thoughts that platform the continued belief. Noticing the repetition of these old thoughts, in lock step with the wave collapse, enables the shift. I must note that wave collapses need not be negative or emotionally injurious. They may just as well be positive and bolster our self-esteem.
The wave collapse can also be illustrated by our thought selection. Prior to the instant in which we select and attach to a thought, we are like the wave, in a state of potential. In the nanosecond between thoughts, our next state of reality is suspended in a pure state of potential. Once we select the thought, the wave collapses and a reality is summoned.
At times, in therapy a client often comes to a long awaited breakthrough. It is a significant moment in which there is long awaited insight and what has always been obscured becomes illuminated. In the following moments, there ensues a state of potential. Whether the individual attaches to the thought that instructs, "What a relief; I've broken through" or "What's wrong with me; why has this taken so long?" will select which reality they choose. They can obviously choose vastly differing experiences. The potential is all that exists prior to the next thought.
Superposition
It appears that the universe perpetually unfolds from this state of potential - known in quantum physics as superposition. When we speak of the universe we tend to refer to it as out there, leaving ourselves separate. This is a cardinal error. We fully participate in the crafting of that universe as much as the universe informs who we are. In order to access universal potential, we must devote ourselves to apprehending that possibility. It lies in the instant prior to collapsing the wave with our next thought/emotion.
The thought becomes our reality. Having thoughts from the habitual groove of our experience will likely replicate more of the same feelings and experiences. Remember that thought re-presents our past experience. This is why we struggle with change. Taking a new snapshot and actualizing new thinking, however, will script a new experience. The pathway to change doesn't require a gradual overcoming of our obstacles, but can be easily accessed through a quantum re-envisioning of our wave collapse. Our emergence is linked to seeing differently, and a new way of seeing is the most powerful thing in the universe. Indeed, it fully participates in that evolving reality. Reaching beyond the familiar and breaking the bondage of the familiar is essential.

Welcome to Brenda's Blog
Channeled by Brenda Hoffman for www.LifeTapestryCreations.com
Summary of Brenda’s June 24, 2012 free, 15-minute, channeled “Creation Energies” show at www.BlogTalkRadio.com/brenda-hoffman: You are unique. Do not let other Lightworkers or beings dictate who you should be or what you should create. Manifest what is in your heart – a cardboard house or a mansion – and it will be right for you and the Universes.
Title of last week’s “Brenda’s Blog” – her free, weekly, channeled blog for www.LifeTapestryCreations.com: ”Burst into Bloom With This Solstice”
Brenda’s “Creation Energies” BlogTalkRadio.com show presents different channeled material than “Brenda’s Blog” even though both might be about the same topic.
Dear Ones,
This is an unusual week. Not for the energy bursts you now expect, but for the flashes of insight that are the culmination of those energy bursts.
Perhaps you are feeling out of balance. Perhaps not. It does not matter. Think of the energy bursts as computer downloads.
In past years, you have had other downloads. Those computer software programs prepared you for your last few downloads. Which is little different from taking high school prerequisite courses. You did not jump from learning your ABC’s to reading Shakespeare. The same is true for your Universal downloads.
You have completed your 2012 pre-requisites. You are now reviewing and applying your new skills. But you will not apply all the software/New Age programs you have available. Which is little different than not applying all the capabilities of new computer software.
We are merely pointing out that you will feel the need to act a bit differently than has been true in the past and most certainly during the recent eclipse/solstice cycle. Many of you felt emotionally raw or confused the past few weeks. Not unlike what you often feel when you download new software. Frustrated, angry, crying to whomever will listen that purchasing the new software was the greatest mistake you ever made – that is, until you become familiar with its capabilities and begin to marvel at your wisdom in downloading the new software.
You have downloaded your 2012 software. Now you are beginning to test your capabilities.
Many of you wonder what your new capabilities entail. Can you slip through the veils? Can you communicate with beings in other dimensions? Are your perceptions shifting? Are you feeling more empathy and less sympathy? Are you finding the need to connect more with some and less with others? Do you feel more powerful? Are you less willing to do what others tell you – that is, unless it feels right for you to do so? Are the colors you view more beautiful? Do you find that you manifest more rapidly? Do you feel that what was once very important now may seem a bit silly? Are you feeling less need to connect spiritually, yet feeling more spiritual? Are you creating more balance in your life?
Your new software has those capabilities and more. But you will only explore those areas required for your role.
Let us explain. You most certainly could use all your new skills if you wished. But you will emphasize those areas you discover when you follow your heart, your joy. Maybe you are not interested in moving through the dimensions, but are extremely concerned about how best to practice empathy instead of sympathy. It does not matter – as is true for the computer software components you use once you download the basic program.
There will be some Lightworkers who maintain characteristics of the Old Age for a bit of time. These Lightworkers have an agenda correct for them, but not necessarily for you. We are not trying to frighten you – merely to confirm the suspicions some of you have that you are trading one set of Old Age “shoulds” for another.
Lightworkers are unique – as is true for every entity. Therefore, all are moving at a different pace and on a different path than you. The destination for all, including you, is love and uniting as one. But getting there is a unique journey. So some Lightworkers will tarry a bit longer in Old Age shoulds than others. That is neither right nor wrong – merely what feels right to them.
You are not those Lightworkers. So if it feels joyful to follow their guidance, please do so for it is right for you. But if it feels heavy and somehow not quite right even though loved ones are proclaiming the rightness of a Lightworker’s actions, move on. The Old Age chains that used to bind you to your society have been removed. You are no longer “should” based.
Explore those pieces of joy that you wish to explore. If that means meandering in the desert without connection to humanity, do so. If that means becoming a politician or corporate executive, do so. If that means becoming an emotional, physical or spiritual healer in whatever format do so. No one has to follow you for you to be correct. Nor do you need to follow anyone unless it feels right to do so. Enmesh yourself in the spiritual realms. Ignore the spiritual realms. Enmesh yourself in history. Ignore history. All are correct paths to your destination of love.
The only paths that will delay your progress is to deny your joy by only meeting the needs of others or to punish yourself for something you believe you did wrong in this life or any other manifestation of your being in the Universes.
You have been born anew in this New Age. You are as innocent as you consider a newborn baby on earth. Allow yourself to act accordingly. Perhaps you wish to explore flowers today and move through dimensional veils tomorrow. You have the skills to do so. More importantly, you have a new empty book to fill with your adventures and joy.
Why waste time and space mourning what should have/could have been in other existences or following someone or something that does not give you joy?
Of course, you are thinking that you must pay bills and care for others. Perhaps that is part of your path. But move on that path in pain? You are no longer limited in your actions by societal rules and policies.
Perhaps changing your perception of your employer will be the difference between joy and pain. Or finding another employer. Or returning to school to obtain a promotion within your company. Or manifesting income in another way. Or……..
You have a wide open road filled with joy. Close off those roads, paths and avenues that are painful. You will know which ones we are speaking of when you ask yourself if you need to leave or change the dynamics of a situation. You have the answers – we do not. It is your road. We are only here to point out the possibilities. What you do with that information is entirely up to you. JOY is the only word we offer as a signpost.
You are a newborn with exciting skills – designed to create the new joyful you. Why deny that joy? Doing so is little different than placing a newborn in a box and only addressing that newborn’s physical needs.
Allow yourself to be a newborn with full spiritual, emotional and physical joy. Such a life is meant for you. So be it. Amen.

I count my blessings one by one
Though great or small they be,
And know without the help of God
Not one would ever be.
I thank Him for these blessings
Each morning of each day,
And then again at close of night
Before sleep comes my way.
He grants me all these blessings
Though sinner that I be,
And with the many faults of mine
I know that He loves me.

I greet each day to bare rise of the sun hearing the birds cheerfully chirp outside my windowns, sometimes I hear a dove, maybe a crow and sometimes a sea gull even though there is no water where we live. I talk to them, I reply to them with a good morning and I always say good morning to Creator. My house is pretty quiet until my 2 beautiful children get up. Here where we live tomorrow is the last day of school. Today my oldest, my son who is 13 is finally leaving grade 8 and moving on to high school. I am so proud of him. He has done well. My daughter is going from Grade 1 to 2. I am also very proud of her. We have had our share of mountains to climb since we left her abusive father two years ago this August. And I can easily say even though it has not been easy, our faith in Creator and in each other has given each of us the momentum, the nurturing food for our souls to continue and rise as we have. During all the ups and downs I have never wavered from the truth of myself. Speaking of truth, my truth has expanded, I have grown both spiritually and personally beyond any conceived notion or expection by me. I am a gentle person by nature and I love the spiritual work I do.
My Ojibwe friend, sister and sometimes mother - Sonja
Today I was blessed to spend some precious time with a very dear Ojibwe friend. In her community she is considered a helper, a guide. I have co-fascilitated beside her in a woman's group at the Native Neighbourhood Friendship Centre here during the court hearing and battles I was having with my daughter's father. It was a wonderful experience. She teaches Ojibwe at the school where my children attend. I went to her today, just to be with her. She is round, warm and loving. Both my parents are deceased, my dad has been gone 13 years, my mom 15 years. This woman, my friend sometimes becomes my sister, mother and friend all in one warm package. I helped her with some sewing. Her kids, the students that come to her class created aprons and vests and some simple border stitching needed to be done. I finished one boy's vest. It's the first thing he had ever accomplished and all he needed was a little tidying at the bottom. It was peaceful and serene work which was exactly what I needed. This woman has helped me see what I could not see many times when it would be right in front of my nose - that is the way sometimes though. She did tell me that I am to follow as I already am doing in the guidance of the Creator and even when I am facing difficulties in people, myself or life in general to remember all is for a purpose and all is to make us - YOU stronger. She went on to say, it is not up to me to say no to one person's opinion because that is theirs, they own that. Just like your opinion is yours. Everyone has the right to say how they feel no matter if it is right or wrong to another person. To judge me is to walk in my shoes. I can't and will not judge or criticize another person. That is the way I am. I know there was divine intervention that brought us together. I sought her out a few years ago for something else I knew she would be able to help me with and I now know me and this woman are soul sisters. In this life we come from 2 different worlds but somewhere else we are not.

My son goes to his graduation tonight. I have never cried during any of his progressions - day care to kindergarden, kindergarden to primary grades and so forth. I am hoping I won't cry at this cause this is big sort of. When I went to school we did not have all the hoopla there is now for such things. In my grade 8 class, we had a little party, chips and music and that was all. My parents I think took me out, bought me a passing gift and it was done. I bought him a cell phone. It scares me to give him something like this. I will lay out the restrictions with the phone later. Thank goodness for Wifi. I am very lucky to have a wonderful boy. He never had a father figure. We tried that with my girl's dad and he was instantly rejected as soon as my daughter was born. Yes he was a bitter young man for awhile, but through love, perseverance, patience and a lot of talking we got through it. He could be like so many youths and roam the streets all hours of the night, but he is home. He is very popular and a great athelete at school. One thing about William is that he is humble and has reminded me many times lately to let things go. He is an old soul, truly he is. The spirit that guides him is truly wonderful and William listens to him. He is guided by Saint Joseph, Saint Germain and a couple others. I look forward to getting dolled up and watching my son receive his graduation package and possibly an award. He himself will be looking very handsome and I am going to come back here and upload his new photo in his suit.

My beautiful little girl. She is filled with life and ecstatic energy. She is surrounded by many beautiful angels and Goddesses. She lights the calm and the dull with her spirit. She is out there grabbing life by its horns. She is beyond her age like many children are. She has learned to juggle the conflicting emotions going from one parent to the other. She sometimes hears Creator speak to her and this brings her a great comfort. She loves her dresses and skirts and equally loves playing in the dirt. She is my little tree hugger and occassionally joins me in a ceremony that I have planned and is very careful about respecting nature. When she grows up she wants to be a zoo doctor. This year, I am taking her to the Toronto Zoo. She will see for the first time many species up close and personal. I cannot wait to see her joy.

Everyday I pray and speak to Creator and yes He does reply. I speak to the Universe and the many masters and angels and others that are beside me. I am thankful for all people that have become a part in my life. Each and every soul has something to teach and offer. I give thanks to those who have extended their hand in friendship and love. And I give thanks and love to myself for getting this far knowing full well there is more to come. I love myself and who I AM, I love my life, I love my kids, I love my friends and family. I am not monatary rich - far from it. But I am very wealthy for where I am in my soul, heart and mind.

Forgive Yourself!
Let go of guilt and blame.
by DR. WAYNE W. DYER
http://www.healyourlife.com
“Forgiveness is the key to inner peace because it is the mental technique by which our thoughts are transformed from fear to love.”
- Marianne Williamson
THE ACT OF FORGIVING YOURSELF shows that you are living the awakened life. Many years ago, my sister-in-law made me a beautiful pillow that says, “I’m allowed.” For me, it is a reminder that I am allowed to live my life as I see fit, to make mistakes, and to learn from those mistakes. Many people live their lives believing they are not allowed. Judgmental adults succeeded in convincing them that there are irrevocable rules which state what you can or cannot say, be or do; to hate the enemies assigned to you, to disregard all religions except the one you were born into, to dismiss those who appear different from you, and so on. At some point in your life you adopted these rules for yourself and made them a lifetime code of conduct. Yet you also found that it was impossible to live up to all of them all of the time. Consequently, you filled yourself with guilt for not having lived up to the judgmental code that was imposed upon you.
Look at any and all beliefs that you carry around with you in terms of how well they serve you in living a life of harmony and purpose. If you behave in a way that is in violation of those supposedly irrevocable rules, you have not really done something wrong! You have merely done something. And it is done. If you are plagued with remorse and guilt, then judging the action as wrong seems appropriate to prevent its recurrence. Does it really? Probably not. So instead, learn from it by deciding if it is something that you want to repeat based upon your values, and then move past it. It takes effort to determine if you are still operating on the controls imposed by others. The effort is well worth it if you are not taking responsibility for your own mind. You are allowed, plain and simple. You do not need to be forgiven by anyone else, only yourself, and even that is truly unnecessary once you accept yourself completely. You will know when you have mastered the art of self-forgiveness. When you are no longer judgmental toward others, you will have forgiven yourself and be on your path of enlightenment.
Releasing judgment of another is actually releasing judgment of yourself. Your need to put others into categories defines you, not them. When you stop doing this, you have forgiven yourself for whatever aspect of yourself you see in them. The more at ease you are with the behavior of others, even if you would not act that way yourself, the more you are at ease with yourself.
Say to yourself, “I’m allowed.” Not because I tell you you are, or because your parents are no longer in charge of you, or because some authority figure granted you permission, but simply because you are lovingly there for yourself. No guilt, no anger, no self-flagellation over things that you consider mistakes. A simple understanding that you do not fail in life, you only produce results, and you have the right to learn and grow from any results that you produce. The word “failure” is itself a judgment, and if you label yourself a failure in any context, you are judging rather than accepting yourself. Self-acceptance will turn into self-love, and when you are filled with self-love, that is what you will have to give away.
Consequently, the willingness to forgive yourself is the necessary step to being in harmony with all of the universal principles. It gives you permission to be whatever you choose. And it gives you the right to self-determination. Everything that you have done is over, regardless of your opinion about it. It simply is. Try to simply be. The past is over, and everything you did got you to the point that you are at right at this moment. Everything had to happen exactly as it did, without any exceptions in order for you to be here, reading these words in the exact location in which you find yourself right now. You needed to do it all, and all you have to do, to really learn this lesson of forgiveness, is to allow that thought in and lovingly forgive yourself. Receive the lesson from it and be in harmony with yourself and everyone that you encounter. The more peaceful you are with that idea, and the more willing you are to be gentle with yourself, the more you will find forgiveness your way of life. Which means the more you will find acceptance, which is the absence of the need to forgive, as your way of life.
If you notice others violating the values and beliefs that you hold, refuse to judge them. Reach out to help when asked, and know that where you are on your path, you can choose to be unaffected by their conduct. The more you know that you are thinking and acting in harmony with what the universe can be, the less you will be inclined to judge others. And you will have stopped judging yourself as well, and that is a glorious aspect of this process. You are treating yourself the way you truly want to be treated, as the divine being that you are. You have the intelligence that supports all life running through you at all times. You are important enough to know that, and divine enough to give it away.

The Key To Lasting Happiness
By Dr. Deepak Chopra
http://www.inlightimes.com
Behind the curtain of our intellect and emotions is our self-image or ego. The ego is not our real self; it is the image of ourselves that we have slowly built over time. It is the mask behind which we hide, but it is not the real us. And because it is not the real us, but a fraud, it lives in fear. It wants approval. It needs to control. And it follows us wherever we go.
The ego is the prison we have built around ourselves, and now it holds us captive within its walls. Any time we feel discomfort in our body, our ego, which is e-g-o or edging-god-out, is overshadowing our inner self. Fear, doubt, worry, and concern are some of the energies associated with our ego. And how do we break free from captivity? We break free by choosing to identify with our inner self, the real us.
We break free when we feel neither beneath anyone nor superior to anyone, when we shed the need to control other people, when we no longer use stereotypes or harbor extreme likes or dislikes toward people we hardly know. We break free when we refuse to follow the impulses of anger and fear, when our speech is nurturing rather than scathing, when we choose to express only our love.
We break free when we surrender to the moment, to what is, and trust the universe is on our side, when we let go of grievances and choose to forgive.
Grievances are the melodrama of the ego that overshadows the spirit. When we relinquish all grievances, we truly break free and find our soul. The soul is the source of creativity, understanding, peace, harmony, laughter, and all possibilities. It is a place of stillness, which is beyond labels. But as soon as we use labels — good or bad — we create an image that overshadows the inner self. Without those labels, we are the free spirit and free flow of the universe.
The world of the ego is time-bound, temporary, fearful, self-centered, and attached to the known. It clings to pleasure and recoils from pain. The world of spirit is timeless and eternal, joyful, undivided, unshakable, dynamic, creative, powerful, and free of every limitation. The world of spirit is the source of all power. There never was and never will be any other source of power. What the world calls power is really fear that leads to manipulation and control of others, which in turn leads to violence and suffering. Real power is the power to create, the power to transform, the power to love, the power to heal, and the power to be free. Real power comes from our connection to our deepest self, to what is real. That is why powerful people are self-referred, not object-referred.
Object-referral means we identify with our self-image or the objects of our experience to understand ourselves. These objects can be situations, circumstances, people, or things, but whenever we refer to objects to define our identity, we are operating out of object-referral mode. By their very nature objects change, and as long as we identify with objects, we will never know our real essence. When we understand ourselves through objects, or through the eyes of others, our life is like a roller-coaster ride. If our identity is tied to these, then life is always going to be unstable because everything is constantly changing.
The opposite of object-referral is self-referral. When we are self-referred, we identify with our inner self, the unchanging essence of our soul. We feel wonderful regardless of the situation we are in because we don’t identify with the situation. We are the detached, silent witness of the situation. Self-referral is an internal state of joy, and is different from happiness for a reason. Of course there’s always a reason to be happy. Somebody says, “I love you,” and that makes you feel happy. You win the lottery and that makes you feel happy. This kind of happiness is an expression of object-referral: You’re happy because of this; you’re happy because of that. But inner joy is independent of the situation, circumstances, people, or things. When we experience inner joy, we are happy for no reason. Just to be alive to gaze at the stars, to experience the beauty of this world, to be experientially alive in the miracle of life itself is our happiness.
Everything in life is changing; that is the nature of our world. But when we are self-referred, we enjoy the change instead of resisting it. People have asked me, “If something bad is happening in my life, how can I be happy instead of negative and depressed?” Well, by going back to our source, by recognizing that whatever is happening, it comes and goes. We don’t need to look positively or negatively at a difficult situation.
What is a positive mind? It’s an interpretation. What is a negative mind? It’s also an interpretation. And the difference between a positive mind and a negative mind is sometimes quite superficial. Both a positive and a negative mind can be a turbulent mind, and sometimes one can switch to the other very quickly. Courage can become fear in the twinkling of an eye. Love can transform into jealousy in the twinkling of an eye. These are turbulent minds. More important than a positive mind is a silent mind.
Why not go beyond both a positive mind and a negative mind to become a silent, non-judgmental, non-analytical, non-interpretive mind? In other words, the silent witness. In the process of silent witnessing, we experience inner silence. In the purity of silence, we feel connected to our source and everything. In silence, we flow with the tide, and the tendencies that emerge from here are evolutionary. In silence, inner energies spontaneously wake up and bring about the appropriate transformation for every situation.
There’s a saying that goes, “The river of life runs between the banks of pleasure and pain, and one bumps into both.” That’s not the problem. The problem occurs when we cling to the banks, either the positive one or negative one. When we quietly reconcile ourselves to all of life’s contradictions, when we can comfortably flow between the banks of pleasure and pain, experiencing them both while getting stuck in neither, then we are free.
Joy and sorrow, happiness and suffering, are the play of opposites; they are transient because they are time-bound. Spirit, the essential you, is independent of the play of opposites; it dwells in the silent bliss of the eternal. When we truly know who we are, then we are living from our source, which is bliss. The key to happiness is to stop looking for it, and to know we already have it. The key to lasting happiness is to live and play in the field of intelligence that is beyond positive and negative. That field is our source, and it is magical, holy, joyful, and free.

What Is a Spiritual Solution?
http://www.deepakchopra.com
Excerpted from his book Spiritual Solutions: Answers to Life’s Greatest Challenges
.
,
No one will disagree that life brings challenges, but step back for a moment and ask the deeper question, which is why. Why is life so difficult? No matter what advantages you are born with— money, intelligence, an appealing personality, a sunny outlook, or good social connections— none of these provides a magic key to an easy existence. Somehow life manages to bring difficult problems, the causes of untold suffering and struggle. How you meet your challenges makes all the difference between the promise of success and the specter of failure. Is there a reason for this, or is life simply a random series of events that keeps us off balance and barely able to cope?
Spirituality begins with a decisive answer to that question. It says that life isn’t random. There is pattern and purpose inside every existence. The reason that challenges arise is simple: to make you more aware of your inner purpose.
If the spiritual answer is true, there should be a spiritual solution to every problem— and there is. The answer doesn’t lie at the level of the problem, even though most people focus all their energies at that level. The spiritual solution lies beyond. When you can take your awareness outside the place where struggle is ever-present, two things happen at the same time: your awareness expands, and with that, new answers begin to appear. When awareness expands, events that seem random actually aren’t. A larger purpose is trying to unfold through you. When you become aware of that purpose— which is unique for each person— you become like an architect who has been handed the blueprint. Instead of laying bricks and fitting pipes at random, the architect can now proceed with confidence that he knows what the building should look like and how to construct it.
The first step in this process is recognizing what level of awareness you are working from right now. Every time a challenge comes your way, whether it is about relationships, work, personal transitions, or a crisis that demands action, there are three levels of awareness. Become aware of them, and you will take a huge step toward finding a better answer.
Level 1: Contracted Awareness
This is the level of the problem, and therefore it immediately grabs your attention. Something has gone wrong. Expectations have turned sour. You face obstacles that don’t want to move. As resistance mounts, your situation still doesn’t improve. If you examine the level of the problem, the following elements are generally present:
Your desires are thwarted. Something you want is meeting with opposition. You feel as if every step forward is a battle.
You keep doing more of what never worked in the first place.
There is an underlying anxiety and fear of failure.
Your mind isn’t clear. There is confusion and inner conflict.
As frustration mounts, your energy is depleted. You feel more and more exhausted.
You can tell if you are stuck at the level of contracted awareness by one simple test:
the more you struggle to get free of a problem, the more you are trapped in it.
Level 2: Expanded Awareness
This is the level where solutions begin to appear. Your vision extends beyond the conflict, giving you more clarity. For most people this level isn’t immediately available, because their first reaction to a crisis is to contract. They become defensive, wary, and fearful. But if you allow yourself to expand, you will find that the following elements enter your awareness:
The need to struggle begins to diminish.
You start to let go.
More people connect with you. You allow them more input.
You approach decisions with confidence.
You meet fear realistically and it starts to lessen.
With clearer vision, you no longer feel confused and conflicted.
You can tell that you have reached this level of awareness when you no longer feel stuck: a process has begun. With greater expansion, unseen forces come to your aid. You move forward according to what you desire from your life.
Level 3: Pure Awareness
This is the level where no problems exist. Every challenge is a creative opportunity. You feel completely aligned with the forces of nature. What makes this possible is that awareness can expand without limits. Although it may seem that it takes long experience on the spiritual path to reach pure awareness, the truth is exactly the opposite. At every moment pure awareness is in contact with you, sending creative impulses. All that matters is how open you are to the answers being presented. When you are fully open, the following elements will be present:
There is no struggle.
Desires reach fulfillment spontaneously.
The next thing you want is the best thing that could happen. You benefit yourself and your surroundings.
The outer world reflects what is happening in your inner world.
You feel completely safe. You are at home in the universe.
You view yourself and the world with compassion and understanding.
To be completely established in pure awareness is enlightenment, a state of unity with everything in existence. Ultimately, every life is moving in that direction. Without attaining the final goal, you can tell that you are in contact with pure awareness if you feel truly yourself, in a state of peace and freedom.
Each of these levels brings its own kind of experience. This can be easily seen when there is a sharp contrast or a sudden change. Love at first sight takes a person without warning from contracted awareness to expanded awareness. Instead of relating in the normal social way, suddenly you see immense appeal, even perfection, in one other person. In creative work there is the “Aha!” experience. Instead of wrestling with a blocked imagination, suddenly the answer presents itself, fresh and new. No one doubts that such epiphanies exist. They can be life changing, as in the so- called peak experience, when reality is flooded with light and a revelation dawns. What people don’t see is that expanded awareness should be our normal state, not a moment of extraordinary difference.
Making it normal is the whole point of the spiritual life.
Listening to people tell their stories of problems, obstacles, failure, and frustration— an existence trapped in contracted awareness— one sees that reaching a new vision is critical. It is all too easy to get lost in particulars. The difficulties of facing each challenge are often overwhelming. No matter how intensely you feel your situation, which has its own unique difficulties, if you look to the right and left, you will see others who are just as caught up in their situations. Strip away the details, and what remains is a general cause of suffering: lack of awareness. By lack I’m not implying personal failure. Unless you are shown how to expand your awareness, you have no choice but to experience the state of contraction.
Just as the body flinches when faced with physical pain, the mind has a reflex that makes it draw back when faced with mental pain. Here again, a moment of sudden contrast makes it easy to experience what contraction feels like. Imagine yourself in any of the following situations:
You are a young mother who has taken your child to the playground. You chat for a moment with another mother, and when you turn around, you can’t see your child.
At work you are sitting at your computer when someone casually mentions that there are going to be layoffs, and by the way, the boss wants to see you.
You open your mailbox and find a letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
While driving you approach an intersection when, out of the blue, a car behind you swerves past your car and runs a red light.
You walk into a restaurant and see your spouse sitting with an attractive companion. They are leaning in toward each other, talking in low voices.
It doesn’t take much imagination to feel the sudden change of awareness that these situations provoke. Panic, anxiety, anger, and apprehension flood your mind; these are the result of brain changes as the lower brain takes precedent over the higher brain, triggering the release of adrenaline as part of an array of physical responses known as the stress response. Any feeling is both mental and physical. The brain gives a precise representation of what the mind is experiencing, drawing on infinite combinations of electrochemical signals coursing through one hundred billion neurons. A brain researcher can pinpoint with ever- increasing accuracy exactly those regions that produce such changes. What cannot be seen on an MRI is the mental event that incites all these changes, because the mind functions at the invisible level of awareness or consciousness. We can take these two terms as synonyms, but let’s explore them a little.
Spirituality deals with your state of awareness. It isn’t the same as medicine or psychotherapy. Medicine deals in the physical aspect where bodily changes occur. Psychotherapy deals in a specific difficulty, such as anxiety, depression, or actual mental illness. Spirituality confronts awareness directly; it aims to produce higher consciousness. In our society this is seen as much less real than the other ways of approaching problems. In times of trouble, people cope as best as they can with a swirling confusion of fear, anger, mood swings, and everyday struggle. It doesn’t even occur to them to pair the two words spiritual and solution in the same sentence. This points to a limited vision about what spirituality really is, and what it can do.

Sidq (Truthfulness)
by Fethullah Gülen
http://www.fethullahgulen.org
Meaning true thought, true words and true actions, sidq is reflected in the life of a traveler on the path to God as follows: he or she does not lie or tell a falsehood, lives according to truthfulness, and strives to be a trustworthy representative of loyalty to God. In other words, he or she never deviates from truthfulness in all thoughts, words and actions and, in obedience to the Quranic command: Be with the truthful (9:119), always seeks truthfulness on both an individual and a social level.
Such people are so careful about being truthful that they never give false evidence or tell lies even in jest. As related in a Prophetic saying, one who is truthful to that degree is recorded as a truthful one by the Supreme Court, while one whose thoughts, words, and actions are contradictory and who deceives others is recorded as a liar.
Truthfulness is the firmest road leading to God, and the truthful are fortunate travelers upon it. Truthfulness is the spirit and essence of action and the true standard of straightforwardness in thought; it distinguishes believers from hypocrites, and the people of Paradise from the people of Fire. Truthfulness is a Prophetic virtue in those who are not Prophets, by which "servants" share the same blessings as "kings." In the Qur'an, God Almighty described as being true both the one who communicated it and the one who confirmed it: He who came with the truth and he who declared that it is true (39:33).
Truthfulness can be defined as struggling to preserve one's integrity and to avoid hypocrisy and lying, even in strained circumstances when a lie will cause release. Junayd al-Baghdadi says: "A loyal, truthful one changes states at least forty times a day (in order to preserve personal integrity), while a hypocrite remains the same for forty years without feeling any trouble or unease (over his or her deviation)."
The initial and lowest degree of truthfulness is sincerity and behaving the same whether in public or in private. This is followed by being true in all thoughts, feelings, actions, and intentions. The truthful are those valiant people whose feelings, thoughts, and actions do not contradict one another; the most truthful are those heroes who are absolutely true in all of their imaginations, intentions, feelings, thoughts, actions, and gestures.
Using all of one's faculties and capacities to achieve truthfulness in all actions, adherence to a lofty ideal or cause, and loyalty to or steadfastness in it is an attribute of Prophethood. In the verse: Make mention of Abraham in the Book: he was a most truthful one, a Prophet (19:41), the Qur'an refers to this highest degree of truthfulness. Truthfulness is the primary attribute of all Prophets, and the strongest moral force or means-producing activity for serving Islam and the Qur'an. It is also a believer's greatest credit and most valid document in the Hereafter. God draws our attention to this significant fact: This is a day in which their truthfulness profits the truthful (5:119).
Truthfulness serves the Prophets, the purified and perfected scholars and the saints brought near to God, as a heavenly mount that, as quick as lightning, can carry them to the highest heights; lying, however, pulls Satan and his followers down to the lowest depths. Thoughts "fly upward" on the wings of truthfulness and increase in value, actions grow and flourish on the ground of truthfulness, and truthful supplications and prayers reach the Throne of Mercy and are welcomed.
Truthfulness is as effective as the "elixir" of God's Greatest Name. When asked about the Greatest Name, Bayazid al-Bistami answered:
Show me the Least Name among God's Names so that I may show you the Greatest One. If there is something as effective (for the acceptability by God of prayers and actions) as the Greatest Name, it is truthfulness. Whichever Name is recited truthfully, It becomes the Greatest.
Visshuda Chakra. Also known as the throat charka
Truthfulness caused the light of repentance to shine on the forehead of Prophet Adam, upon him be peace. Truthfulness served as a vessel of salvation for Prophet Noah, upon him be peace, when the world was flooded. Truthfulness carried Prophet Abraham, upon him be peace, to safety and coolness from the fire into which he had been thrown. Truthfulness elevates ordinary people to extraordinary heights, and is a key that opens the door to realms and realities beyond visible existence. One borne aloft by truthfulness cannot be detained from journeying upward, and doors are not closed in the face of one who uses this key. How apt are the words of Rumi in this respect:
The truthfulness of a lover affects even the lifeless;
Why then should it be found strange that it affects man's heart?
The truthfulness of Moses affected his staff and the mountain;
Nay, it also affected that great, splendid sea.
As for the truthfulness of Muhammad, it affected
The beautiful face of the Moon and also the shining Sun.
In many verses, the Qur'an relates that being a true believer depends upon one's integrity and truthfulness in words, actions, feelings, and innermost senses. It also regards such a degree of integrity and truthfulness as the basis of happiness in both this world and the next. The following are a few examples:
- Say: My Lord, cause me to enter with truth, and cause me to go out with truth, and grant me a power from Your Presence to help me. (17:80)
- Grant me a good reputation, being remembered for truthfulness, in later generations. (26:84)
- Give to those who believe good tidings that they have a true, sure footing in the sight of their Lord. (10:2)
- The righteous are in the Gardens and rivers, on the seats of truthfulness in the Presence of a Mighty King. (54:54-5)
Entering with truth, going out with truth, being remembered for truthfulness, true and sure footing, and a seat of truthfulness are all stations of and provisions for a long road extending from this world to the Hereafter. Since what takes place in this world yields fruit in the Hereafter, the truthful always pursue what is true, observe truthfulness when starting a task or moving to another place in the way of God, act and live in accord with the requirements of truthfulness, and bequeath truthfulness to succeeding generations. Their objective is to deserve eternal happiness in the Hereafter.
To become truthful in intentions and aims, believers must consciously decide to become truthful in their thoughts, decisions, and acts. This is the first step. Those so resolved must persist in truthfulness, regardless of the consequences, and refrain from whatever might shake their resolution. The second step is to maintain this worldly life only to support the truth and gain God's approval and pleasure. Such people are always aware of the defects and faults of their selfhood, and do not surrender to the world's attractions and change their conditions for worldly reasons. The third step is to establish truthfulness so firmly in one's conscience that it governs every facet of life. This is identical with the station of being pleased, which is explained in the Tradition: One who is pleased with God as the Lord and Islam as the religion and Muhammad as the Prophet has tasted the delight of belief.
The greatest truthfulness and loyalty is for people to be pleased with the Lordship of God regardless of the treatment He dispenses, to accept Islam as the Divine system governing their lives, and to submit willingly to the guidance or leadership of the best of creation, upon him be peace and blessings. The way to true humanity lies in undertaking this grave responsibility, which is very difficult to fulfill perfectly.
Let us conclude with a fine couplet:
What befits man is truthfulness even if under threat;
God Almighty is the helper of the truthful.

Let Them Go if They Do Not Accept Your Love
In my life many people have come and many have left. Of course, each time when someone leaves, you think about why and you want to explore the reason behind it. Sometimes you do not really find a reason which makes this separation even stranger. Why did the other person leave?
I have experienced this often with people who could just not go along with me. When a person has a principle or something they are living for, others may not really have a solid reason for leaving but they do. They just could not go along with you on the way that you are following. You will hear many excuses but sometimes you can feel behind it that there is just one thing: you cannot compromise with your way and the others do not want to join you on your way. You know what? It is good that they leave.
I use to say if you have a wish, if you have a target that you want to achieve and you do not have any alternatives, you will reach there. Your wish will get true if you do not change your way. I do not have a certain aim. It is just not my nature to make targets. My principle for living in the presence is to be honest, direct and clear. It is not always easy to go this path but as I will not move one step away from it, I will go it. And those who cannot walk along on this way will naturally go away.
I know I am not the only one with whom this has happened. Someone leaves you and you wonder why but you have the feeling that you have done nothing wrong. You were thinking for their benefit but they did not want to accept your love or well-wishing. You wanted to do something good but they felt differently and left. Don’t worry about it. It is just normal, let them go.

Opening Up to Happiness
Why happiness is unattainable for some people and why it's a mistake to wipe out sources of displeasure.
By Mark Epstein
http://www.psychologytoday.com
One reason we have so much trouble attaining happiness is that we don't even know what it is. We keep trying to annihilate anxiety and other disturbances. But happiness has more to do with broadening your perspective, says a ground-breaking psychiatrist who blends Western and Eastern thinking.
"I'm sick of this," a patient of mine remarked the other morning. "I can't stand myself anymore. When am I going to be happy?" It's not an uncommon question in therapy, yet aspirations for happiness can sound naive or even trivial. How could she be asking for happiness, I thought to myself. Didn't Freud say the that best one could expect of therapy was a return to "common unhappiness?" Yet my patient's yearning was heartfelt. How could I possibly address it without being misleading?
I approached her dilemma not just as a psychotherapist, but as a longtime Buddhist. For Buddhism holds the promise of more than just common unhappiness in life; it sees the pursuit of happiness as our life goal and teaches techniques of mental development to achieve it. To the Dalai Lama, "the purpose of life is to be happy." He wrote those very words in the foreword to my new book Thoughts Without a Thinker: Psychotherapy From a Buddhist Perspective (Basic Books, 1995).
"On its own," he goes on to say, "no amount of technological development can lead to lasting happiness. What is almost always missing is a corresponding inner development." By inner development the Dalai Lama means something other than mastering the latest version of Microsoft Word. He is talking about cleaning up our mental environment so that real happiness can be both uncovered and sustained.
Americans have a peculiar relationship to happiness. On the one hand, we consider happiness a right, and we are eager for it, as the advertising world knows. We do everything in our power to try to possess it, most particularly in materialistic form.
On the other hand, we tend to denigrate the pursuit of happiness as something shallow or superficial, akin to taking up woodcarving or scuba diving. But, as the Dalai Lama always emphasizes, happiness is not a hobby, nor is it a trivial pursuit. It is a fundamental drive as basic as those of sex or aggression, but not often as legitimized in our cynical, postmodern culture. In fact, Americans are waking up to the Dalai Lama's point: Materialistic comforts by themselves have not led to lasting happiness. Having reached that conclusion, however, we do not often see another way, and retreat into our comforts, barricading ourselves from what appears to be a hostile and threatening world. Acquiring and protecting, we continue to crave a happiness that seems both deserved and out of reach.
My experience as a psychiatrist trained in Western medicine and in the philosophy and practice of Buddhism has given me a unique perspective. I have come to see that our problem is that we don't know what happiness is. We confuse it with a life uncluttered by feelings of anxiety, rage, doubt, and sadness. But happiness is something entirely different. It's the ability to receive the pleasant without grasping and the unpleasant without condemning.
All the Wrong Places
Buddhism and psychoanalysis teach us that the very ways we seek happiness actually block us from finding it. Our first mistake is in trying to wipe out all sources of displeasure and search for a perennial state of well-being that, for most of us in our deepest fantasies, resembles nothing so much as a prolonged erotic reverie. One of my patients said it best with his adolescent fantasies of romantic love. He described his perfect woman as someone who would faithfully leave him with an erection every time she exited the house.
This approach to happiness is instinctual, deriving from our earliest experiences, when intense emotional states of pleasure and gratification inevitably are interrupted by absence and frustration, evoking equally intense states of rage or anxiety. Anyone's first response would be to try to preserve the pleasurable states and eliminate the unpleasurable ones. Even as adults we rarely come to terms with the fact that good and bad are two sides of the same coin, that those who make pleasures possible are also the source of our misery. In Western society, with its extended family structure and rabid pursuit of individualism, people often find themselves with nowhere to turn for support in dealing with these feelings. In more traditional Eastern societies, there is a much greater social and familial support system that helps people contain their anguish.
However much we, as adults, think we have come to terms with the fact that no one can be all good or all bad, we are still intolerant of frustrations to our own pleasure. We continue to grasp at the very objects that have previously disappointed us. A wealthy patient of mine exemplifies this predicament. After a gourmet meal, he craves a cognac. After the cognac, a cigarette; after the cigarette he will want to make love; after making love, another cigarette. Soon, he begins to crave sleep, preferably without any disturbing dreams. His search for happiness through pleasures of the senses seemed to never have an end, and he was not happy. We think only of manipulating the external world; we never stop to examine ourselves.
Our search for perpetual gratification often plays out in intimate relationships. Take my friend who was very much in love with his new wife, but plagued by rage and bitterness over her sexual unavailability when she became pregnant. He could not help taking it personally. His happiness in her pregnancy was overwhelmed by his inability to tolerate his own sexual frustration, and he could not get past the feeling that if she really loved him she would be as interested in sex with him as he was with her. He was restricted by his tunnel vision; his own pleasure or displeasure was his only reference point.
We identify with the feelings of violation, rejection, or injury and we long for a happiness in which no such feelings could arise. Yet as Freud pointed out, even intense erotic pleasures are tinged with unhappiness since they all must come to an end, in the form of a relaxation of tension. Post-orgasmic depression is a well-known phenomenon. We long for this not to be so, but it is physiologically impossible.
The Buddha's point about happiness is very similar. As long as we continue trying to eliminate all displeasure and preserve only pleasure for a prolonged sense of well-being, no lasting happiness is possible. Rage, envy, and the desire for revenge will always interfere. Real life and its complications inevitably trickle in. There is a well-known story in the Buddhist tradition, that of Kisagotami, that illustrates how important it is to give up that approach to happiness.
Kisagotami was a young woman whose first child died suddenly somewhere around his first birthday. Desperate in her love for the child, Kisagotami went from house to house in her village, clasping the dead child to her breast and asking for medicine to revive her son. Most of her neighbors shrank from the sight of her and called her mad, but one man, seeing her inability to accept the reality of her son's death, directed her to the Buddha by promising her that only he had the medicine she sought. Kisagotami went to the Buddha and pleaded with him for medicine. "I know of some," he promised. "But I will need a handful of mustard seed from a house where no child, husband, parent, or servant has died."
Slowly, Kisagotami came to see that hers was not a unique predicament. She put the body of her child down in the forest and returned to the Buddha. "I have not brought the mustard seed," she told him. "The people of the village told me, 'The living are few, but the dead are many."' The Buddha replied, "You thought that you alone had lost a son; the law of death is that among all living creatures there is no permanence."
Kisagotami's story resonates, not just because of our sympathy for the horror of losing a child or because of our fear of a world in which such tragedy is possible, but because we all, like her, feel that our situation is unique and that our emotional pain requires relief. In the privacy of our own minds, we are aggrieved and single-mindedly self-centered. We still seek absolute gratification that is intolerant of frustration.
But the most difficult part of Kisagotami's story for me comes when she lays her child down in the forest. Even though he has been dead for a long time, I still feel slightly aghast at the idea of her leaving him there. Yet this is precisely what the Buddha is asking us to do. He did not teach a method of recovering primal emotions or embracing some sort of injured child that lies buried within. The Buddha helped Kisagotami find happiness not by bringing her dead child back to life, but by changing her view of herself. The inner development he alludes to is a development beyond the private childish perspective of me first that we all secretly harbor.
Happiness a la Buddha
The root cause of our unhappiness is our inability to observe ourselves properly. We are caught in our own perspective, unable to appreciate the many perspectives of those around us. And we are unaware of how insistently this way of perceiving drives us. Only through the uprooting of our own self-centeredness can we find the key to happiness. Buddhist meditation practice is one way to catch hold of this me-first perspective and begin to examine it. But it can happen in incidental ways. A teacher of mine, for example, remembers standing in line for food at a silent meditation retreat when someone suddenly spilled the large serving bowl of soup. "It wasn't me," he remembers himself thinking spontaneously. "It's not my fault."
Immersed in the quiet of the meditation retreat, he was all too aware that his reaction was patently absurd. Yet this is the kind of response we all have much of the time without being aware of it. Buddhist meditation is a way of coaxing the mind to deal with frustration in a new way, experiencing it as an interested observer instead of an aggrieved victim. Rather than responding to the inevitable frustrations of life with "Why me?" the successful practitioner of meditation can begin to see how conditioned our everyday sense of self has been by the insulted response to disappointment.
Our True nature
The first step to inner development is to find and hold the sense of single, one-point perspective. This is the feeling that we all have that we are really the most important person in the room at any given moment, that no matter what happens the crucial thing is how it will impact me. You know the feeling; it's the same one you have when you are cut off suddenly in traffic or are standing on line at the cash machine while the person in front of you makes one transaction after another. The visceral response is always, "Why are you doing that to me?" Similarly, when someone comes to therapy because they have been spurned by a would-be lover, there is always the feeling of "what is wrong with me?" In Buddhist meditation we seek out that feeling; we bring it into self-awareness rather than let it run our lives. When a person is able to do that successfully, there is often a sense of freedom.
A patient of mine, for example, recounted to me how, when he picked his girlfriend up at the airport recently, he reached out to carry her bag for her after retrieving it from the baggage claim. She took the bag from him and carried it herself. Rather than take her action as a sign of self-sufficiency, he felt immediately rejected, as if she were not glad to see him. Once he learned to make that knee-jerk reaction of his the object of his meditative self-observation, he was freed from his obsessive scrutiny of his girlfriend's mood. He then became more self-reliant, she felt more supported, and both were happier with each other.
As the tendency to view the world self-referentially loses its hold, we begin to appreciate the Einsteinian world in which all realities are relative and all points of view subjective. Then a happiness that has more to do with acceptance than gratification becomes available to us.
One particular meditation technique prepares the mind for the a new, broadened perspective, that of naked--or bare--attention. The technique requires you to attend only to the bare facts, an exact registering, allowing things to speak for themselves as if seen for the very first time and distinguishing emotional reactions from the core event. So instead of experiencing a spouse's suggestion as criticism or their withdrawal as abandonment, as so often happens within couples, one would be able to simply bear the experience in and of itself, recognizing any concomitant feelings of rejection as separate and of one's own making.
As bare attention is practiced, many of the self concepts or feelings of self we harbor are revealed to be reactions that, on closer inspection, lose their solidity. My patient who overreacted at the airport was astonished at what he discovered upon closely examining his core sense of self. "This is it?" he asked. "This little feeling is determining so many of my actions? Am I really so narcissistic as that?" The answer, for most of us, is a resounding yes. Our sense of self, we soon find, is a house of cards.
A common misbelief people hold about meditation is that, in attacking reactive emotional tendencies, it encourages a stoic acceptance of unhappiness. Yet stoicism is not the goal. The point is not to become impervious but open, able to savor the good with the bad.
We cannot have pleasure without displeasure, and trying to split them off from each other only mires us more deeply in our own dissatisfaction. A recent incident involving an old friend of mine may illustrate the point. After breaking up his 10-year marriage, he sought psychotherapy at a local mental health clinic. His only wish, he told his new therapist in their first meeting, was to feel good again. He implored her to rid him of his unwanted emotions.
His therapist, however, had just left a three-year stint in a Zen community. When my friend approached her with his pain, she urged him to stay with his feelings, no matter how unpleasant. When he complained of anxiety or loneliness she encouraged him only to feel them more intensely. While my friend didn't feel any better, he was intrigued and began to practice meditation.
He describes one pivotal moment. Terribly uncomfortable with the burnings, pressures, and pains of meditation, he remembers watching an itch develop, crest, and disappear without scratching it. In so doing, he says, he realized what his therapist had meant when she counseled him to stay with his emotional state, and from that moment on his depression began to lift.
His feelings began to change only when he dropped the desire to change them. This is a major revelation that is often brought on through the physical pain of meditation, which requires stillness within a demanding posture. My friend's discovery is similar to the sensation cancer patients feel after taking morphine for chronic pain. They say the pain is still there, but it no longer hurts. So the sensation remains, but without the oppressive quality. Likewise, my friend learned to recognize his emotional pain, but was not oppressed by it.
Well-Being
Like many others, my friend was looking for that pervasive feeling of well-being and hoped that meditation (or love, money, success, alcohol, or therapy) would provide it. But well-being, which is not sustainable, is not the same as happiness. Happiness is the ability to take all of the insults of life as a vehicle for awakening--to enter into what the pioneer of stress-reduction, Jon Kabat-Zinn, has called the "full catastrophe" of our lives with an open mind and heart.
In pursuing a study of Buddhism and psychotherapy, I am convinced that a method of mental development exists that enables a person to hold feelings of injury without reacting destructively. Rather than immediately responding with rage or anxiety, a person can use feelings of injury to focus on the core sense of self that will prove illusive, nonexistent. If there is no self to protect, there is no need to react in rage or angst. Pleasure and displeasure can then be appreciated for the ways in which they are inextricably linked. Well-being becomes understood as an inseparable part of a larger whole that also encompasses catastrophe.
Happiness, then, is the confidence that pain and disappointment can be tolerated, that love will prove stronger than aggression. It is release from the attachment to pleasant feelings, and faith in the capacity of awareness to guide us through the inevitable insults to our own narcissism. It is the realization that we do not have to be so self-obsessed, that within our own minds lies the capacity for a kind of acceptance we had only dreamed of. This happiness rarely comes without effort to train mind.
To accomplish this we must first discover just how narrow our vision usually is. This is the function of meditation. Go ahead, close your eyes for five minutes and observe how self-obsessed your thoughts are. "When can I stop doing this?" you may think. None of us is very far from the eight-year-old child who can think only about who got the biggest piece of cake.
Mark Epstein, M.D. (b. 1953), is an American psychiatrist who has written extensively about Buddhism and psychotherapy. Epstein is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Medical School. He has been a practicing Buddhist since his early twenties, primarily as a student of Joseph Goldstein and Jack Kornfield. He is a psychotherapist with a private practice in New York City, contributing editor to Tricycle: The Buddhist Review and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology at New York University. His books include Thoughts Without a Thinker and Going to Pieces without Falling Apart. Both books deal with the difficult and counter-intuitive Eastern teachings of non-self, a concept which has sometimes proved so alien to the Western mind as to be out of reach for many Western Buddhists.

Strength and Beauty of the Rose is What Each of YOU Are
Message from Archangel Jophiel
Channeled by: Julie Mille
June 21, 2012
How is everyone when it comes to patience? Have you mastered this part of yourself yet? Patience, patience, patience – it has always been a most difficult virtue at obtain for many. Patience dear ones is much more than learning tolerate an undesirable state. You do not go through all the efforts to bring positive change into your life just for the sake of change, you move forward to bring change because you welcome the improved processes that will be gained and old ways of being and thinking will become abandoned. Great care is taken when you undertake the necessary steps to achieve all the changes you wish to produce. It is like growing and cultivating a magnificent rose. The weeds are what must be discarded, removed in order to better feed the rose, thus the rose will gain the benefit of the nutritious soil, water, and care that will be bestowed upon it. Yes the weeds will return, and they become easier to remove as the cultivator of the rose becomes more diligent and dedicated. You are the rose dear ones, when properly nurtured you bloom and demonstrate your beauty to all that comes across your path. You become the representation of all your accomplishments through all your challenges. Beauty is more than the appearance, it’s the journey that brought you to where you are and how you learned and coped through your heart with God at your side each step of the way.
You will acquire this virtue dear one when you apply great effort to understand your reactions, and understand if you can the other person. Take the time to really get to know yourself, recognize the many changes that have transpired from within you. Familiarize yourself with your own God Self; make it a constant habit to enter each interaction from your God Self, which is through your heart. Then you will demonstrate not only your true and pure love and compassion, but Patience. Mastering patience is definitely difficult for most dear souls, but nothing is ever impossible. When you wish to achieve something bad enough, you will go through all that it takes to meet the desired outcome.
I urge each of you to illuminate your dear heart with knowledge and clear thought. I hold the Flame of Illumination dear ones and when you ask for my guidance I will guide you to see your own De-LIGHT-Ful Heart. There is no dark passageway or challenging storm that the light of your heart cannot dissolve. The beautiful light that fills your heart allows you to see clearly, it will cast out all illusions and non-realities when you become dedicated and committed to working through your heart during every part of your everyday life. When you are able to fully understand your complete nature, and accept that self-improvement is an ongoing necessity that is required for everyone and NO ONE is perfect, and then wisdom can be attained. You cannot dear ones obtain wisdom without comprehension and illumination, so I ask each of you to always think with great care about what you are about to say, think, write or do, and determine if what you are thinking of doing or saying resonates with your heart by weighing your words truthfully and honestly with love. Once you have gathered your thoughts in a mindful manner then speak and do what you need to express with the understanding you are responsible for what you say or do, but you are not responsible if another person chooses to take what you say or do. It is then up to them to consider your actions and words as being from your higher selves, and if they contain any amount of love at all.
When you have become completely joined with your higher self, then all the knowledge you have been receiving and learning will be understood at a higher level and a deeper understanding will take place. You will discover more A-ha type conclusions when you integrate with your Higher Self through every single instance in your day. I will help you dear ones to form this much needed connection by guiding you through your chakras and helping you to understand the cords and links between each one, especially your Crown Chakra. Once you have mastered all seven primary chakras you can begin working on the higher chakras and higher levels of spiritual vibration. I will help show you the way that will create you into becoming a more complete soul of light. When you start climbing the higher vibrations, it becomes only a knowing and understanding that everything that is out there for you access in the great universe is what will become when all that you have learned sinks in, in a harmonious and complete balance. Hard work and great discipline will bring you here dear ones, do not rush the lessons being received daily from the many challenges that greet you. These are part of the wisdom that you are acquiring and the development of your SELF.
Get rid of any amount of ignorance by learning. Ask questions, learn and understand the diversity of the world. Rise up to your Higher Self, show the world, and show yourself you are willing to accept and learn about different cultures and ways, and the people that apply those beliefs. Just because you might not follow their custom does not mean you cannot be respectful and appreciative. There is much to be learned from everyone learning to work together. Shine that illuminating light that is streaming from your heart, and become a shining example of God’s Love in action.
The more light you are able to allow into your hearts dear ones, the more you are able to eject ALL insensitive feelings and explosive emotions. When you are illuminated from within from God’s Love and you are filled with confidence from your own light then you will clearly see the truth. And when you are able to finally see with clear eyes through your love filled heart, then all things that you were once fearful of or carried negative feelings about are no longer there. It is the Ego that feeds your fear, and clouds your thinking. You may not be able to remove it completely because it is a part of you, but you can learn to control it. YOU are the Master of YOU. Be in control of your emotional and mental body dear ones, understand when you are not and work through each err when they occur with love and understanding for yourself. Refrain from lashing out at another, go within and learn where the root of your anger or upset feelings is really coming from. Banish all discord and replace those negative feelings with nurturing love and forgiveness.
I understand from observance that many souls are hit with self-doubt and self-pity. This occurs mainly when you lose your connection with God. When you recognize this occurring dear one, stop yourself and open your loving hearts again and let God in, tell him through your thoughts because he can hear your every word before you say them. Welcome the Love and Light of God back into your heart and receiving His almighty healing embrace of welcome. By consciously opening your heart allowing God to re-enter will aid in banishing negative obstructions and will reinforce the bond that was already there. You will be guided by the Love of God to the next step to maintaining this phase of your journey’s development and you will be shown how to integrate every part of yourself that became separated from the blockages. Through God’s Fatherly guidance you will use this information to guide yourself through situations that have the potential to breed fear, astonishment, discomfort, dread or sorrow.
Don’t be too hard on yourself when you realize you have disconnected from God. Forgive yourself, because God already has. Come into to god’s ready embrace, allow yourself to feel the compelling nature of his Divine Love and Brilliant Light.
Go through your day in deep peace with all that you are knowing God is always within each of you – living inside your precious hearts.

Your rewards and concerns are immediate. Part of the maturing process is balancing your being. That which brings you joy is the area you feel a need to balance.

Brenda’s Creation Energies BlogTalkRadio.com show presents different channeled material than Brenda’s Blog even though both might be about the same topic.
Dear Ones,
Many of you feet battered and bruised. That which was a given just a few weeks ago is now in question. Others of you have felt little change in the past few energy bursts. That is to be expected.
We wish to address those who have been emotionally traumatized by recent eclipses and energy bursts.
Your concern is that this trauma, this chaos is your new you. Not at all. It is you becoming the new you.
Many channels have used the analogy of a seed sprouting from earth to explain why your life seems so chaotic at this time. That is an apt description – for you have no idea who you will be once you are the mature Lightworker you are striving to become.
Some of you believe that since you have not experienced chaos recently you must be a better or more mature Lightworker than is true for those who are in the midst of it. Such is partially true.
Some of you are postponing your chaos until you feel more comfortable doing so. Others of you may never experience it. Not because you are better or more rapid learners than other Lightworkers, but because you have decided to plant your being where you are physically, emotionally and spiritually OR you have not yet felt the need to move through your heaviest issues.
It is perfectly correct to plant your being or to postpone your chaos. But the Lightworkers we are directing our message to today have done neither. They are in the midst of their storm. They are feeling the emotions of others, as well as exploring their deepest secrets. None of which is pleasant, but all of which needs to be explored before fully moving into the 5th dimension.
Some of you reading this blog are not that interested in moving beyond the 4th dimension, ascending or becoming part of the new earth. That is well and good. It is not that you are interested in remaining in the 3rd dimension, the old earth – but that you feel comfortable where you are.
For indeed, those of you who are not experiencing chaos at this time are comfortable where you are – you are in an ongoing respite. While those of you pushing yourselves beyond the 4th dimension, are probably not at all comfortable. You may have recently had hours and days that have a felt as a respite – but certainly not weeks.
Again, we are not stating that some of you are more advanced than others. You are all Lightworkers – just with different roles and interests.
Those of you now in chaos will soon sense a feeling of peace and well-being.
Returning to the seed analogy, you will burst through the soil to find a loving sun and adequate nutrition to display your beautiful flower. You will stand tall and proud of all you have accomplished. And then you will nurture those hidden in the soil, too afraid to pop through – those in the midst of or contemplating their chaos.
The end product of your current chaos is to find your sun. This summer solstice will provide the push you need for your flower to display its beauty. For those of you concerned about the longevity of your flower – our plant analogy stops with your bloom. Consider yourself an “endless bloom” not an “endless summer” bloom.
What will happen to your being in December of this year? There are so many shifts occurring between now and then that there is no need or space to outline all of them.
Again, think in terms of a flower. Perhaps butterflies, worms, rodents, humans, bees all find a flower perfect. Each of which has different expectations with different results. All point to the flower’s importance, but different aspects of the flower at different times.
so it will be for you. Perhaps your big role will be to walk someone across the street only to realize you have saved their life. Or maybe to move to a neighborhood to uplift the spirits of your new neighbors or to become internationally famous. Of course, one person could perform all those functions and many will. For just like the flower, your being will represent many things to many entities – not the least of which will be your perspective about this chaotic time. You are the first to burst through the soil.
Do you not suppose that at some point in your earth history, a bee found a particular flower sweeter than others and directed the bees in its hives to that type of flower? And then did not the DNA shift within bees so future generations knew that such a flower was perfect for their needs?
So it is for you. You will perform your role perfectly by being you. Your chaos is temporary, but necessary to clear out latent, deep-seated Old Age beliefs and fears. Which is no different from a seed hiding in the dark soil for weeks before it pops through to the glorious sun and the role it was to perform for nature, humanity and the world. For indeed, one or two flowers missing from earth would not make much difference. But if all the flowers disappeared, your world would not be as beautiful or self-contained.
Each flower plays an important role, as does each Lightworker. Seeds do not necessarily know what role they are to play, they merely know their piece during the growth process. And so it is for many of you.
Perhaps you feel as if you are buried so deeply in soil you will never bloom. We beg to differ. Allow the rays of this solstice to renew your being and encourage you to burst from the chaos into the sunlight. So be it. Amen.

People are not perfect... very often the relationships that are strongest are those where people have worked through big crises, but they've had to work through them. So the challenge to us is to work through that.

Don't you just Love the Sun !
Hi Friends ~ It's a beautiful winter's morning here in Queensland, Australia, and first thing in
the morning after rising from bed, the furry kidz and I go out in the warm sunshine to shake off
a cold night. Another gorgeous day...........and luckily they are dogs that like to play and explore
the gardens.
Instead of sitting around wondering if this or that is going to happen, I like to air the top bedclothes
each day in the sun. The kids have their own blankets and pillows so they go out to the sun for a good
airing and freshening up. I came out with something profound (?) while chatting to Charlie in the
kitchen this morning. He wanted something and I was doing something else.......you know kids!!!
So I said to him, " Charlie, I have to do this now because now is forever and that is all we have. "
I had a good laugh at myself hearing that come out.........then I thought, well, now is forever because
in the now is where we always live - actually live, not in our minds. Oh well, I think it bypassed
Charlie as it didn't sound like 'chewy' or 'biscuit' so it wasn't important, at all, in his world!! lol
Looking out of several windows here as I type, all I see is sunshine on the tops of trees and plants.
When you live in a place like this, you have to feel grateful and blessed as many others on this planet
would not even know that this type of living exists. Accentuating what is positive in One's life by
recognizing it and expanding it each day goes a long way to staying positive within Oneself in a
rapidly changing world. One can easily get rattled by the many writings of how others see the world.
Suddenly there are experts everywhere on what is going to happen to us.............
"You reckon?" Is all I have to say to them! I live in what I can see, feel, know and experienced for myself.
My forecasters are my heart, my gut and my experiences. We have it all within us; I don't see the need
to look elsewhere. Keeping in touch within as that connects us with the spiritual TRUTH of what is
really happening.
Back to the sunshine now, time to water the pot plants.............
Have a beautiful day, everyone, much love, Tara.*~*

I just finished reading Tara's glog about being an old soul and I realized...Man! my a** is tired!
I am halfway through 2012 and I need a vacation.
That is it!
I am taking a vacation from 2012.
Catching my breath so to speak.
I am going to the beach tomorrow, since my little house by the sea was finished yesterday.
It is the home which love built.
What an exercise in patience!( not one of my strong points...)
Focus(had to be very aware of my thoughts so the house would be finished by June).
(Now I realize I will be in my house by the summer solstice hehehehe)
Intent(for the highest good of all, with the purest heart, with the purest intent).
This all combined with my own spiritual spring cleaning, which kicked my booty.
But with it came such intensive spiritual growth.
My spiritual body would like a vacation too.
And what about my physical body?
Yikes!
From not sleeping, to sleeping a lot.
Eating habits all over the board.
Digestive system becoming very picky.
Cold energy running through me.
Hot energy running through me.
Incredible headaches.
Eyes kinda goobered up.
Strange pains that come and go.
Tingling.
Feeling like my body is too small for me.
Feeling like my body is too large for me.
Hearing vibrations and ringing in my ears.
Sensing things.
Smelling things.
Sweating like crazy, while freezing.(that one was a heck of a release...)
I am constantly praising my body because it is working just as hard as everyone else.
These energies are constantly up and down.
My body is riding these waves at the most dense level.
It definetely needs a vacation too.
And my mental body?
Absolutely nutso,definetely needs a vacation.
So I will be packing my car with bare essentials and get to my little house by the sea.
We are halfway through this year and I definetely need a breather.
And I have one.
...Until the summer solstice, when I think something pretty amazing will happen.
I feel it,in my cells, in the air around me,in my heart.
A build up of energy of sorts.
Kinda like when you rub your shoes on the carpet and then build up static energy so that the first thing you touch gets shocked.
A build up like that.
But not shocking.
The word gobsmacked comes to mind for some reason.
We shall see what happens, won't we?
Thank you dear family for being here with me.
Hope you get a beautiful vacation if that is what you need.
But either way, hope you are having a beautiful day.
In Light and Love

Spiritual values are human values
Excerpt from the book, ‘Put Your Spirituality to Work: The Basics’
By Debra and William Miller
The values of truth, righteousness, peace, love and non-violence are found in all major spiritual paths. These spiritual values are also human values and are the fundamental roots of a healthy, vibrant, and viable work career.
The values of truth, righteousness, peace, love and non-violence are found in all major spiritual paths. These spiritual values are also human values and are the fundamental roots of a healthy, vibrant, and viable work career.
Our collective business experience showed us that these five human values were the fundamental roots of a healthy, vibrant, viable organisation – and of healthy, vibrant, viable individuals. For example:
Truth fosters trust and honest communications.
Righteousness fosters high quality work.
Peace fosters creative and wise decisions.
Love fosters self-less service based on caring for others' well being.
Non-violence fosters win-win collaboration.
Yet we have chosen to call them human values rather than spiritual values. “Spiritual values” implies that they are something that human beings need to aspire to and hopefully someday achieve. We are well aware that most people see human nature as anything but spiritual – they typically see it as limited, imperfect, and so on. However, we know that we are spiritual beings first and foremost and that “to be human is to be spiritual.” So, by calling these spiritual values “human values,” it reminds us that they are inherent in our spiritual nature.
We emphasise three principles:
These human values do not need to be taught or learned; rather, they must be evoked or unveiled, sometimes by unlearning the ways we keep them hidden.
These human values represent humanity at its fullest.
These human values can be understood from three perspectives:
Their spiritual essence, based on the principle that Divinity resides in all of creation.
Their cross-cultural expressions, which we find in all societies though there may be variations and different emphasis from culture to culture.
Their individual (personal) expressions, which reflect the attitudes and motivations beneath our unique personalities and behaviour.
While the spiritual essence of the human values is inherent within us, the cross-cultural and individual expressions are learned, developed and practised throughout our lifetime in the social environments we live and work in. By exploring the cross-cultural and individual expressions of these five human values, we can bring them forth in our everyday life and work.
One point we found quite interesting is that since these human values come from a common spiritual foundation, they are an indivisible whole; one human value cannot exist apart from the others. This integrated wholeness of the human values gives us tremendous strength as we seek to bring them forth in our work.
So, what does each of these human values look like when expressed in the typical workplace?
A professional would tell the truth about errors or delays, even if it meant a temporary reprimand.
A clerical person would do his or her best quality work, even if no one were watching.
An executive would continually strive to find creative new ways to deliver goods effectively and efficiently, without adding undue costs to his or her customers.
A sales person would actively seek to serve people rather than hide behind bureaucratic rules.
A manager would seek to keep the environment clean and unpolluted by wastes from the business.
How can we practice all five human values in a practical way?
Truthfulness: speak honestly with co-workers and customers.
Righteousness: keep your agreements with your manager and co-workers, as well as customers.
Inner Peace: practice equanimity, even in crises, in times of profit or loss, and in times of praise or blame.
Love: listen generously and compassionately to others rather than being judgmental.
Non-Violence: find win-win solutions to problems, rather than winning at another’s expense.
Explore for yourself: What do each of these five human values mean to me personally and how do I currently express each of them in my work?

Throughout the time i have chosen to share my Awakening online, i have noticed, on occasions, an over eagerness from others...
Whenever i detect such Spiritual greed, i slow down considerably, or take a break until i feel such energies have settled...
The reason for this is to show such people that the 'rush' is theirs, and theirs only - i would very much advise others to do the same :-) :-) :-)

If we have known someone for any length of time, they are often labelled as 'friends' - but are they always true friends???...
The answer is, no they are not - for some are simple users of friendship...
Like the person you go out of your way to help, only to find that when the boot is on the other foot, assistance is repeatedly not reciprocated - so if you have a 'friend' that is all take and no give, know with clarity that this person is a user of friendship, and not a true friend at all :-) :-) :-)

Much has happened in the past few days. Some of you are focused in your New Age path. Others of you wonder about your future. Still others remain enmeshed in the Old Age or 3D life.
This is how it should be. Those of you interested in New Age materials are Lightworkers. You are all just at different stages and playing different roles in this transition.
Perhaps you believe space aliens are controlling the media and government. Such a thought is entirely right for the times. Earth beings are moving through the boogeymen of the Old Age. It would be difficult, if not impossible, for most of you to move into the New Age in one day. Of course such is seemingly true for some of you – you have just forgotten the stages your completed to reach your New Age awareness. For most, shifting into the New Age remains part of an ongoing process.
One cannot go from darkness to light without stages of activity. Such would be too difficult for your physical being. Think of someone imprisoned for months underground and then forced into the noon sunlight at a spot near the equator. An extremely difficult transition. Yet for someone who works outdoors in the same geographic location, the difference in light from one day to the next would not be noticeable.
Your physical being – although wondrous in its components and capabilities – remains an earth entity with requirements you often wish to avoid.
Even though you will not need years to fully transition into this New Age, you must remove domination from your belief patterns to fully do so.
The source does not matter. The important piece is knowing that no one from any place, gender, race, pedigree, religion or position can dominate you unless you believe they can. You are not a puppet. You are part of God – as is true for those you allow to dominate.
There is not a better or not so good entity. You are all part of one.
A concept that applies to dominant/subservient relationships throughout your world and the Universes. You cannot believe the media sways your thoughts and yet be fully of the New Age. You cannot believe your government determines your direction and yet be fully of the New Age.
Many of you believe that a particular political party is your gateway to the good life. Such is not true. You are your gateway to the good life.
Do not political parties control the money, wars, healthcare, education, taxes and on and on? They do – for those people who do not believe in their own power. You cannot controlled by anyone or anything – unless you wish to be.
Now you are angry because you are thinking of taxes and thousands of other policies that protect or ruin your life – depending on your perspective. Such is not true. Once you claim your rightful place – and the powers that such a place contains – you will not worry about taxes or healthcare for you will have the resources to provide for yourself in the way most comfortable for you.
You are your guru. You are part of God. You are a unique person who can and does create your life. How are such statements possible if your government, the media or space aliens are in control? Those two concepts are not compatible. You cannot be partially pregnant. And you cannot be partially controlled.
Yes, the government, media, religion and similar bodies sway thoughts and deeds – but only because people allow themselves to be swayed. Do you remember in the early 1960′s when the United States government and media proclaimed the Vietnam war just? Some young adults in tie-dyed t-shirts decided that such was not the case. They were not political leaders or part of the media. They just decided the war was not right for a variety of reasons. They believed they had the power to change the world – and so they did.
So it is for you now. Perhaps you do not like the policies of a particular political party. Vote your conscience if you like and then allow yourself to believe that all will be perfect for you. You are not tied to a political party or the media. You are following their lead because you want to.
As for aliens from outer space. Why would you wish to add to your anxieties – now rampant in your world with your physical, emotional and spiritual shifts – with another layer of fear? Do you realize how closely linked your concerns about space aliens are to your childhood fears of a bogeyman?
Of course there is life throughout the galaxies – your splinters are part of that life just as we stated last week in Brenda’s Blog. There is nothing fearful about these entities other than perhaps a different physical appearance. Which is also true for your various races on earth.
Earth physicians do not need separate medical journals for each race. There is only one male and female physical body with a variety of skin colors, body shapes and facial features. Nothing extremely dramatic – as you have come to realize through generations of not accepting this race or that look. The same is true for your splinters residing in other locales or joining you.
Granted your physical being is transitioning as you mature spiritually, but there is no alien bogeyman waiting to harm you – anymore than was true for the bogeyman you believed was hiding under your bed when you were young.
Perhaps you think we are placating you so the “enemy” space aliens can conquer your world. We have returned to our theme of the day – you can only be dominated or controlled if you allow it. And there is no longer any reason for you to be dominated for you are a Lightworker of the New Age.
If you feel a strong need to be dominated and yet wish to devour uplifting New Age pieces, part of your role may be to move to the New Age through the very heavy last stages of the Old Age. Which is neither good nor bad, merely an observation.
You create your reality. So if you wish to be attacked by space aliens, government or the media – you will create a way.
But if you expect to live a life of joy, no matter what happens on earth as it completes Old Age belief lessons in the most obvious ways possible, you will live a life of joy.
You are not a “Pollyanna.” Nor is it true that nothing fearful or rage-producing will ever again happen to you. But such heavy feelings and thoughts will become fleeting – just as joy was in the Old Age.
Those who feel their power slipping away, as more people ignore or laugh at their fear-mongering, will try to produce bigger fears and worries. It is your choice what you do with those fear thoughts. December 21, 2012 – the end of the earth or the end of the Mayan calendar? It is your choice – and so it will be. Believe it or not. So be it. Amen.

I am visiting my beautiful family this week and I love being with them.
But...
It so happens that they are in the military and they live in Washington D.C.
I gotta tell you, this place feels really bad for me and I can't seem to shake the apathy and the headaches that are constant since I have arrived.
The feeling of anger and hate and frustration and pain is very, very strong here in this place.
The feeling of war.
I am sleeping a lot, it hurts to be awake, almost like my life force is being taken from me.
I have become very good at clearing and shielding and for the last three days I have used all my tools, but it is this place that seems to be a vortex of negativity.
I am here till Friday and I am needing help from my Light family.
The headaches are so bad I am having trouble keeping my vibrations high.
Please send Light to this place, for I tell you this is energetically the worse place I have been in and I am having a very hard time with these energies.
Send Light and Love to our government, they have to work in this place.
I feel so bad for the people that have found themselves here, living their lives....I know it is their choice but yuck!
They need light and love too.
Thank you my light family.
In light and love and gratitude.

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It is yours. – Ayn Rand

For weeks and weeks now I've been just plain upset and anxious and even lonely, and never could understand what it was that was happening. Finally last night it occurred to me exactly what was wrong and the complications of that situation. I have over the past year or so an a bit at a time, probably so slowly and gradually that I never noticed at first, been cut off almost entirely from others in the spiritual community. Some of it was simply life circumstance that did it. A friend that mostly understood me and was probably another lightworker himself moved from town and hasn't kept in tough at all anymore. The chatroom here at the site had to close due to those tech issues. I tend to work or find myself otherwise busy and end up unable to join the voice chat groups on this site and I've never actually found anything similar anywhere else. But on top of just all that life stuff and bad timing, I've just found that no matter how hard I try I'm never taken seriously by others when i try to learn and advance and of course help people. For complicated reason there is no point in going into here,I've never quiet been able to express outwardly what's really inside. The me people see and perceive is only the best I can do at showing who I am and what I can and want to do. I'm constantly seen as unconfidant in every way. No one knows or believes that given a chance at really anything in life, spiritual or otherwise, I would jump in and do the best i can with what I've got. I want to help others in so many ways and so few ever trust that i can do anything at all to help. I hold open a lot of doors for elderly people and let others in front of me in store line-ups just trying to help in any way I can. There's nothing wrong with this of course. help is help and every tiny motion helps someone somehow. I get that, yeah. But so few understand. I was sent to help people and to really do things for the planet and humanity. All over now I just see others run right past me as though it never occurred to them to consider letting me try, and finding another friend who they can talk to about, well anything important. And now I find myself with fewer and fewer people to talk to as well in any case.
I feel that I need to advance further on a spiritual path and that's all been complicated by any and all lack or a spiritual group either on line or off. There is just nothing in town I can get involved in, though I would so like to be able to. I have literally become a lone lightworker not only trying to work alone in a part of the world I feel for the most part will never see me as useful to it in a way I know I was sent to be, but also still trying to learn and evolve and advance at the same time, all while not getting knocked flat onto my face because I know I'd have no back up if I let that happen. I was very much learning and moving forward once. The only way to go was forward and upwards. Now, all alone I just smash into walls endlessly. I must admit I'm not sure what to do, or how to proceed forward at this point. I am so depressed over being all alone on the path. The need to find a spiritual group to work with as part of a team have become a need as great as food and water and I can't find a way to meet that need anymore. I just feel like crying so often because no one thinks I can help anyone, and i wonder how I will face years and years more of this kind of life, a life where so few really know who and what I am and want to do. Everyone tends to see me short and fear i will fail. They do that to everyone I know, but I don't even come off as anyone who can defend myself. These are two different issues I know. I meant to keep them separate but someone in this blog they've gotten all mixed in together. I suppose that's okay. Perhaps they are more related than I think.
I think I need some real advice on this one as much as I hate having to ask for help. Perhaps there is some kind of group online that would take me in. I don't think finding one in person in this town is going to happen. I've been searching and never finding a thing like that. Also since it does seem I've just mixed everything up here, perhaps there is a way I can learn to show outwardly what's inside. Not being able to truly help a friend is something that could of course only become worse as years go on. Every year I don't gain experiences with such a thing the older i get without the experiences to ever warrant a chance to learn and start.

Ok once again I have been inspired to write in response to a writing by Yarra, who was inspired by Ish... : )
The main thoughts were that as much as many of us would love to remain cocooned in the places of heaven that we have made for ourselves, we have to take action and start to speak up for the wrongs in this world.
We need to be the ones that make our brothers and sisters aware of issues that they don't want to face.
We have to be the change we want to see in the world.
Just because we don't give energy to the horrible actions on this planet, does not mean that those things are not happening.
But as I was reading, a new idea slowly came into my heart and then quickly expanded.
Maybe it just takes One of us to change the world.
Maybe One awakened soul who truly believes that they have the ability to change the world is all we really need, their energy being the catalyst for our planet.
So then I thought, what about Jesus? Or Buddha? Or any of the ascended masters that have come to us through time to help our planet evolve out of the service to self.
Why didn't they?
Maybe their mission was to lay the seeds, to steer us in the right path.
Maybe it was not time yet, the collective consciousness still needed more time to experience this aspect of the world as it is today.
A choice made by all.
Lately I have been integrating the notion that I might be the only one in my world.
Blogged about it the other day.
All around me are mirrors of myself but ultimately I am the only one in the room with myself.
Observer and player.
So if that is the case, I have the power to change my world.
I just have to believe I really have the power to bring about such massive change.
There cannot be a shadow of a doubt left within myself as to my divine abilities which I have within myself as an aspect of Source.
Because if I am a part of Source, there is nothing impossible for me to accomplish?
I am not sure of any of this.
As in often the case when new information comes to me I have to chew on it for a while.
Try it on for size so to speak.
But what if I could raise my vibration high enough to where my world would change from service to self to service to others?
Then what about all the other souls?
Would they just wake up in a different world, thinking that the new reality is all there is?
Or is their world the same until they remember who they are?
Are there billions of earth realities all connected to each individual soul, and each one has to remember their aspect of Source in order to change their world?
Do all 7 billion of us have to wake up in order for the whole earth to change?
Or since we are all one, does it just take One of us?
Kind of how I am integrating all of my selves and becoming one?
Oh boy... when I start to integrate these new downloads it still feels like Christmas morning to me!
I don't really know much of anything anymore.
Got a million questions but only one thing I know for sure...
I am a spiritual being in a physical body experiencing this amazing life, connected to all souls everywhere, with Source connected to my heart.
And I am returning to being One.
And I am starting to believe, really believe what that means.
And I like it.
In light and love
Thank you my family for being here with me.
In my world.
Shine on!

Your Feelings are Yours
Message from Ascended Master, Lady Nada
Channeled by: Julie Miller
June 09, 2012
Blessings to all on a beautiful day from where this message is being transmitted from. They delightful laughter of children, combined with the lively chatter of birds fills the air; the mood is light and love filled.
There are some dear souls that are pursuing along their journey to be selfless. Selflessness dear ones is a stage that each of you will at some point reach as it is required for you to fulfill the mission of your soul – your divine purpose. You will realize you have achieved selflessness when you are no longer aware of your choice to be selfless. Choices surround you every day, including the choice to love God and allow God into your heart and to accept your role of being in loving service to God and God’s word. You must be aware of the self, understand the desires, what you are sanctioned to have and do, what your preferences are then it is up to you to choose to relinquish of all that I gave example of that describes the self. It seems to be ambiguous yet it is not.
Discipline to center yourself with the polarities that flow through you, being aware of choosing between the Self, your Real Self and your Non-Self that is described and reflected through your ego. Love yourself with honour, learn to love all peoples including neighbours and those across the globe equally as you love yourself. Once you achieve the fullness of love for ALL, I ask you to discard this self and allow your True, Real Self to perform and work automatically as God; demonstrating the teachings of the masters, honoured deities, the angels and others that resonate within your precious hearts. Being as God, loving unconditionally with compassion is not a difficult concept, but this endeavour as splendid as it is, must start with the Self, with YOU.
Every day your path leads you to lessons. Some of these lessons are from reading and discovering the wondrous A-ha sensation when an idea finally sinks in, other lessons come from personal experiences that include interactions with other people and some lessons can include the experience you feel when you work with nature, how it responds to you, the outcome of a project, handling a pet or seeing similarities in animal behaviour to your own – lessons come in great disguises and it is up to each of you to recognize them when they appear. No matter how lacking you may perceive yourself, you are always working at perfecting the Self. A great undertaking this is; such pursuit in self-mastery will require a significant amount of patience to reach the desired destination of self-improvement. All that you do today is creating your future. Your journey is filled with many opportunities and your path and its directions are not carved in stone; every day and moment is opportunity to embrace change and incorporate ideas that ring true to you, making all that resonates in your heart to work together wholly and complete.
I know there are many dear ones across this fine globe reaching for more; they feel the stirring within themselves. When you feel this inner need and quiet yet loud urge to explore what is available for you to learn and express through your Christ Self, I then suggest you to allow your heart to direct you. Where you are drawn to the most is where you are meant to be. Your journey and the learning that you undertake will possibly at times bring you to stressful and frustrating situations. Greet these as rationally as possible, understanding there are dear souls like yourself finding their own way of what resonates within their heart. Mocking them for what they believe in does not offer encouragement dear ones. Learn to control your emotions and express yourself through your Christ Self as often as you possibly can. This will greatly reduce further stress from collecting around your energy field, slowing you down with the weight that accompanies it. The more your practice self-control the easier it will be for you be in control of your reactions and responses as you are responsible for each action, reaction, response, thought, feeling and so forth.
Become consciously aware of your thoughts and behaviours and notice your reactions. To retrain yourself on responding through your Chris Self is an act of self-care and self-love and with pure effort from your precious heart you will achieve ALL that you set out to do. Learning to control your behaviour in any situation regardless of the environment is an indication to the Self, especially the Ego Self that you are in control and you are working through your heart at every instance.
It is normal for you to have feelings and you cannot ignore what you feel. Your feelings are yours; they do not belong to anyone else. All your feelings regardless what you feel has caused any feelings to surface is created within you. All your feelings of loneliness, frustrations, boredom, and doubt; even happiness and higher emotions such as love are all created by you during circumstances that you also created that would cause you to face specific emotional trials and tribulations. You must cease blaming others for any emotional upheaval and outwardly expressions. You are responsible for what you feel and what you do. Work at bringing calm into every situation and express your God-Like Self at every instance. It does require conscious effort and awareness of the situation for what it is. You have many opportunities to demonstrate your higher self many times through your day, take advantage of these moments when they come and revel in the lessons you are also learning from each one. You are building so much knowledge and wisdom dear ones. Learning to remain calm under high pressured conditions will create a more mindful and compassionate stance and once all is done, relief is much sweeter for all involved.
Part of your reasonability is to become educated in what is going around you. You do not have to go into an institution such as a school or college to learn, you need to learn from honest observation and take it upon yourself to understand others. No one can push those nerve buttons if you are in control and have knowledge of their way of thinking. Learn, ask questions and let information come to you from listening to your Inner Voice. Don’t just quickly respond without thinking, think before responding. People do appreciate the time and effort you take to learn and understand them instead of quickly jumping to ill conclusions without the effort to learn first. Some of the greatest educational learning tools do not come from heavy books or lessons from instructors, but from simple observation and listening. Open your heart and your mind. Not everyone will see as you do. The world is filled with a diverse population of people. Knowing this, understand respect of what you do not know well needs to be applied. Ignorance is not bliss when it causes another person to feel hurt from lack of being understood and accepted for being different. Each difference is a beautiful expression of their God-Like being-ness.
Each of you is filled with the potential and ability to be God-Like in all your actions. Your journey will lead you to many wonderful discoveries that speak of incredible opportunities to build your knowledge and widen your consciousness beyond any expectation or pre-imagined thought. I see and feel your struggles and I know learning your True Self can become problematic at times when you are tired and over drawn. Take time out for yourself. Give yourself mental and emotional breaks, appreciate loving yourself with healing and nurturing words of self-praise. Every person deserves to respected and loved, and this also includes YOU. Love and respect yourself dear ones. All efforts that stem from the purest intent from your precious hearts will bring fruitful rewards dear ones – patience and commitment will ensure your outcome.
Definitely I am enjoying our transmission today. I will return soon as I have much more to discuss through this child, your sister who is on her own light filled journey.
I am with you dear ones when you allow me to guide and support you once you invoke my presence. You will never be judged by me, by any other master, angel or God. I will aid you when you are ready to surrender to the word of God and accept God into your heart.

Destructive Emotions
http://www.innerfrontier.org
Only the rare high saints achieve a level of being untouched by anger and other destructive emotions. The rest of us must deal with distasteful, even ugly emotional states in ourselves. For a meaningful and satisfying life, and particularly for our spiritual path, our emotional nature matters dearly, serving alternately as an essential help and a severe hindrance. We need the inner skills to manage our troublesome emotions. The bouts of anger and rage, fear, anxiety and timidity, greed, lust and gluttony, envy and jealousy, arrogance, coldness and rigidity, squeamishness and laziness, worry, hurry, and depression all take a toll. They make us pay by destroying the precious energy of our inner life in a wasteful, self-referential cycle. These self-reinforcing emotional descents interpose themselves between us and the people around us. They distract us from working toward our goals.
But emotions are not our enemy: they are us. Or at least through the process of identification, we believe them to be us. Emotions propel us through life. Our destructive emotions call us to respond to ourselves with kindness, acceptance, and patience. We can learn to neither abandon ourselves to their indulgence, nor to blame ourselves for their arising. Indulging in destructive emotions makes us petty and self-centered, and can even lead to emotional instability requiring professional psychotherapy. The other extreme of unwillingness to face destructive emotions or of condemning them as spiritually impure, leads us to repress them, to refuse and cut off part of ourselves, part of our energy. And ultimately, the repressed energy finds a way to surface, perhaps even more destructively.
With destructive emotions, the most effective spiritual practice, assuming one’s readiness to bear it, is to be openly and unflinchingly present to these emotions, to be here within myself in the midst of my inner turmoil, to simply see and not to run away into repression or indulgence, and to not identify with or collapse into them. Such forthright presence brings a subtle but crucial new element to bear in our emotional life. Persisting, eventually our presence grows stable enough, large enough, and strong enough to embrace the whole unexpected catastrophe of our destructive emotions. By choosing to participate in an undefended awareness of what we find most objectionable in ourselves, we set the stage for a gradual transformation of our emotional life. By respecting even what we consider lowest in ourselves, we learn to respect others as well. We clear a path for the higher emotions such as love, kindness, generosity, joy, and compassion.
While presence to and awareness of our destructive emotions forms the first requirement, the second crucial element for working with these states is the willingness to let go of the emotion, to let go of nurturing and dwelling on the cause to which we ascribe the emotion. If, in our mind, we keep ruminating over the unpleasant event or situation, then we feed the wrong side in ourselves, giving energy to our downward emotional slide. We need to be willing to let the whole thing go, so that we can live in a higher part of ourselves instead of lingering in our emotional dungeon of identification, which drains the life-blood out of our spiritual work.
Transformation of our emotional life remains one of the greatest challenges confronting us on the spiritual path. We so easily fall into our emotional mud. Another step and we sink up to our necks. Our head then enters the fray as a supporting actor, busily thinking and imagining in ways that only worsen our position. Our breathing may grow rapid or shallow, our heart may pound, our shoulders may slump, and our face may flush or tighten. Our entire bodily demeanor reflects and abets the emotional siren. Our consciousness flees, not wanting to face the disaster. And so, we abandon ourselves to the chaotic whims of the torrent. By this time, there is little we can do but ride out the storm, attempting not to inflict any lasting damage. But even in the thick of it, if we can but open one eye, ever so slightly, and see with a modicum of clarity and perhaps even a hint of compassion for ourselves, we set the stage for the next round not to be quite so dark. Perhaps the next time we open an eye a bit earlier in the process, and a bit warmer. Eventually we may see with kindness at the tempest’s beginning, at the first flap of the butterfly wings, the triggering event. Then, before the emotional storm clouds gather, we can choose to let it all be, and let it all go. Out of respect for ourselves and for others, we might choose not to allow this wasteful pain to overtake us again. This forms part of the long-term blue-collar work of the path, wherein our hands get dirty and our heart gets cleansed. We become able to be more present, more compassionate, and more joyful.
In practice, we must find a way to “own” our destructive emotions. Take the example of anger. As long as I inwardly blame another person for “making” me angry, I am feeding my anger. As soon as I see that the anger is mine, that it has arisen in me, that the other person's actions do not directly arouse my anger, but rather find a ready response in me, that someone else might respond without anger, that I am responsible for the anger, then I may decouple my anger from the outward apparent cause. When I am able to see this clearly, the anger subsides rapidly. Then I am free to take or not take appropriate action in response to the outward situation. But my inner life has been spared the cost of allowing the destructive action of anger to continue within me. Notice that owning my anger does not mean pushing it away, repressing it, or disowning it. It means accepting the anger as mine and seeing into its roots within me. A similar process applies to all our destructive emotions: not blaming the outer situation, owning the emotion and, finally, letting it go.
Some emotional storms are short-lived, even less than a minute. Others can last for days. Recurrent or chronic destructive emotions that consistently derail us from living a full life, from loving relationships, and from our spiritual practice may require the help of a good psychotherapist. If that describes our situation, then the sooner we seek therapy, the sooner we can move on. We need to be responsible for what we make of our lives, because our precious time is limited.
So if you see the anger or other destructive emotion, understand its causes, see it as baseless and unnecessary, and yet despite all that it still has you, then what? Depending on how thoroughly involved you are, you may be able to turn your attention away in that moment, toward something else. One potentially powerful place, if you have a prayer practice, is to turn to prayer, as deeply, strongly, and genuinely as you can. At that time, rather than ask for relief, we offer our love for the higher. Opening toward the Divine, with intention and heart, can transform your state of difficulty into a state of grace. As a byproduct, prayer releases the energy of the destructive emotion to feed your soul instead of sapping it. Another excellent place to persistently direction your attention is toward the work of sensation and presence.
Another source of help in an emotional storm can come from remembering the purpose of our life, remembering our spiritual path. Destructive emotions are so called precisely because they destroy, at least temporarily, our spiritual possibilities. These emotional upheavals burn our energy and entice us into attitudes and actions that increase our egoism, our sense of separateness. Remembering that all this flows in the opposite of our intended direction can help us do damage control, conserve our rapidly ebbing energies, and shift our sights toward the path of purification. Every time we fall into some dark state that causes our inner work to vanish, we get up and start again, sooner rather than later.
And what if even that does not help? You are left bereft. Seeing and inwardly admitting to your enslavement, your powerlessness in the face of your emotional state, can empty you, can breach a hole in the darkness of your ego. Your heart and soul lie in ruins. Such emptiness cleanses your heart. Indeed, this emotional emptiness can lead us toward true spiritual emptiness, toward the inner need and openness that relates us to the Ultimate Source of All. The higher can only enter our emptiness, not our fullness. If our need is strong, and if we can orient that need toward the Sacred, the Response will surely come.
The challenge of emotions is not one of taming or controlling them. We need our emotional engine to be strong and vibrant. Our problem arises from our fractured nature. Our emotions, our mind, our body, and our spirit all push or pull us in different directions. The spiritual challenge calls us to integrate our heart into our whole being. Within that wholeness, all our parts find transformation. Then our true consciousness emerges, not identifying with our painful emotions, letting them pass through without singeing us or our neighbors. Clear seeing of our emotional dramas and traumas in action extricates our sense of self from our narrowly-defined, self-centered emotional pseudo-life and brings us to a wider consciousness. By integrating our emotions into our wholeness, by not identifying or collapsing our sense of self into our emotions, we can rest in the freedom of consciousness and toward the higher emotions, toward the source of love. Furthermore, the whole of our inner work, all rightly conducted spiritual practice contributes toward freeing us, which, in part, means loosening the grip of our destructive emotions. So by working at meditation, prayer, presence, kindness and the rest, we naturally lighten our emotional burden.

The need to focus on Positive News is something we should all aspire too especially to lift up our vibrations and thoughts.
This totally made my day, it is a video of a young man named Ashton. I was touched by his emotions and i truly believe that children especially are able to feel what is going on around us.
"Today I heard my 6 year old son Ashton talking with some of his Galactic friends from upstairs. He was celebrating with them the ending of the war as he described it and the Federation of Free Worlds. When I went into the living room where Ashton was sitting he started telling me how we need to spread this message to the people around the world, that we are all free now. I then asked him if he would like to
do a video so we could share this message. Here is what he had to say :
Love to all,
Ashton & Joe
May we all truly embrace."
Lots of love and light, Sammy :D

For about the last week this date has been in my awareness and I feel a great sense of joy as it draws near.
(I also feel it might be my actual birthday as well)
I think maybe many of us are feeling it as a beautiful energy running through the grid.
A sense of anticipation, like when we were children and had been invited to our best friend's birthday party...
and it is coming up in two days or something.
Just thought I would share and see if anyone else was feeling it as I am.
As a rush of joy and anticipation.
The infusion of Light and Love is coming in from the Cosmos and it really feels amazing.
The Sun,the Moon,Venus,the Pleiaides...and many more.
We are being showered in amazing new energies.
Thank you for being here with me my light family.
I feel you in my heart.
In Light and Love

In this time of major Energies coming to us, of Changes and of New Awareness, I have been slightly taken aback by my increased perception of others Negativity - even from those I thought were well on their Spiritual Path. From those who preach Love and Peace. Even some Healers. Do others feel this too?
Perhaps my own Light is so much brighter now so these Souls are offloading or blurting out these feelings they can't keep inside when in my presence.
We are all praying for others to "Find their way to The Light" and for the Earth, the Universe to be in Harmony and I can now see what an enormous task it is. So all I can do is find that harmony within me, the Light, the Love and radiate it out quietly. Even for a moment. Blessings to you. Starseer

Chaos and the Mystical World of Faith
by Fethullah Gülen

Today, everyone breathes resentment, swallows hatred, curses all that is deemed to be an enemy with a fixed and determined passion, as if programmed for fury.
The ink that flows on the pages of newspapers, the pictures that are broadcasted over the television, the electromagnetic waves that resonate on the radio scratch our ears like ill-omened screams emitting from a variety of places—in the mountains or on the water, in the valleys or up in the hills; they strike our eyes like photographs that make us shudder and they open wounds in our hearts. These startling epics of hate that we hear about day and night, all these ill-omened screams, make us sick at heart, and yet the people who seek a cure for these ills are few indeed. Their thoughts go in different directions, but they always seem to arrive at the same point: money, financial prosperity, and success.
. . . emotions base, desire consuming
The meaning that flows over from the gaze is full of contempt for the subject of God.
Akif
Very few are exempt from such a turbulent point of view; no difference remains between what is collective and what is not, between capitalism, communism and liberalism. The distance in nature—between those who attach their lives to the considerations of eating and drinking, resting, and earning money, having a good time in general, and other beings who are bound to spend their lives in a similar way due to the unchanging character of their nature—becomes smaller day by day. The basic differences between the two sides vanish into thin air one by one, and humanity seeks new directions, despite its own nature.
Religion, piety, morality, free thought, our own perceptions of art are rarely given consideration; power has become so ulcerated as to be unrecognizable, fantasy has taken on the image of lofty ideals and these disagreeable ideas are being forced upon others. Indeed, I have to say that I have a hard time understanding the inner drama of such a terrible fanaticism. Nowadays, when enlightenment has become widespread, when intellectualism is at its apex, the fact that science and ignorance seems to meet at the same spot, contrary to the distance that one would expect to exist between them, suggests a dark complicity and makes the existence of a serious problem obvious. Such a contradiction gives us the impression that the emotional will of some people is miles ahead of their intellectual and logical will.
I believe that in such a dark period, when opposites have become intertwined, when in different sections of society chaos is heaped upon chaos, when shadowy acts of different origins have darkened the face of the Earth, when what is underground reigns over what is above, when polemics and dialectics have become so popular with so many, when hearsay, especially through the use of media, is welcomed as acceptable merchandise, when we have begun to feed upon the lives of others, when the soul of unity has been shaken and different groups are scattered everywhere, when hopes are shattered and wills are paralyzed, when souls give up the fight against desire, there is a burning need to turn toward our own spiritual sphere and listen to our own inner world, to tear ourselves from the dark atmosphere of the bodily realm and sail into the magical atmosphere of a hearty and spiritual life. Those who do not fall into lethargy and return to their usual state as soon as possible will feel the magic and charm of their own inner world; the unfortunate who fail to return and remain in between, or who remain on the other side, continue to resent, hate, slander, lie, and feel contempt, they continue in the dissolution and obstinate disagreement which they have practiced until this day, and even in climates where the sun continues to shine they will dream of dark things, they will mutter dark thoughts, always seeking dark places in which to hide and dark corners in which to live.
One hopes that they would be able to feel the joy of the blessed days and nights that we experience, when showers of light reach everywhere. One hopes they too would abandon the heresy, unbelief, dissension, and sedition in their hearts and that they would be able to respect the chosen understanding and stance of every single soul! Maybe one day these wishes will be fulfilled, but the self-proclaimed enemies of God, the prophets, religion, and piety—once having breathed nothing but materialism, having gone into a frenzy denying divinity, and having plunged into the quicksand of anarchy and nihilism—will never be able to breathe this reviving air. Oh dear Lord, had you only made yourself known to them and released the chains from their hearts!
In every community and society there are people who are inclined to abandon their faith and there have been many times when such people have spun out of control; other communities and societies do not have such powerful places to seek refuge when faced by these abysses and weaknesses as we have. Indeed, they have thoughts which soothe, beliefs which reconcile, days and nights which tremble with joy, festivals and carnivals; but, these days, these nights, these festivals, these carnivals are devoid of any holiness. They are like fireworks, shining for a moment and then are gone, giving only instantaneous pleasure; they are ephemeral and physical, not promising anything in the way of spiritual joy. Indeed, in their worlds you cannot feel the greatness of faith to God, nor can you feel that souls are free from the boundaries of time and space; everything starts with a false and transitory happiness, and takes place in a delirium of flesh. All is then transformed into painful memories, regrettable dreams, and disappointed hopes, and finally everything simply disappears.
In this spiritual atmosphere where we are closely bound to God, every sound, every word, every action is felt like a nursery rhyme and listened to like a melody. These shower down upon us like the rain; we soak up the bounties of these showers. The moon changes its form every night, as if signaling particular times and happy hours, the sun moves to a new spot on the horizon at every dawn, awakening our feelings and thoughts in a new period of time, causing our dreams to follow it, presenting memories to us that resemble the river Kawthar, promised to us in Heaven. The past becomes like a veil of many colors draped before our eyes, the happy future is the apex of our dreams, waiting for us with open arms and we, who have been freed from the narrow confines of time, live the multiplicity of yesterday-today-tomorrow simultaneously and, like the angels, feel all the joys of surpassing time. It is impossible for those who are not fed from the same source, those who do not share the same feelings and thoughts, to feel and understand the holy depths or the happiness and joy like the rivers of Paradise to the same extent.
Our faith, our horizons of thought, and our manner—characteristics of the fortunate, but at the same time belonging to a little-wronged nation of the world—have become, through being formed and re-formed in the mold of the collective personality, greatly refined and adorned with universal values. The truth is that in these characteristics the holy sadness of our hearts and the enthusiasm of our souls, like water running between the rocks, are felt and heard. Indeed, those who listen to what we have to say always hear the melodies of the pain of separation voiced along with hope; they hear the notes of reunion, of the sweet and eternal search for home in our intonation and manner. Indeed, while on the one hand we murmur "Oh, cup bearer, I have burnt in the flames of love, give me a cup of water," on the other we say "I have dipped my finger in and tasted the honey of love, give me a cup of water," and thus we are able to turn our grief into smiles. Our tongues speak sometimes of love and sometimes of weariness; though love and weariness cause pain to others, in them we always hear, like Rumi, the poem of longing for the realm that we have left to come here. Love and weariness to us are like a plea from the tongue of the soul, stemming from a sorrowful desire for eternity. Since our beliefs and feelings take us to the magical worlds of beyond, we almost always feel sadness and joy intertwined; we hear the sounds of crying and laughing as different notes of the same melody. We respond to the troubled heaving of our breasts with smiles on our faces, as our eyes overflow with tears, our conscience takes upon a red hue with the roses of the Iram gardens.
Even though it may not be easy for every individual, our connection to God is the most natural attitude that we can adopt; our relation with Him is like a spell that transforms all the moments of our life into enthusiasm and joy. Our hearts that beat with feelings toward Him fill and re-fill with the dream of this gaze; we are able to live through the bitterest autumns in our hearts because we have the joy of spring. Our souls adopt the most enviable attitudes with instincts of particular feelings and joy that are the result of our connection with the All-Glorious One; thus transformed, they make us feel a refreshed enthusiasm, a new opening and revelation, even at moments when we are filled with sadness and grief. Pleasure or sadness, revelation or sorrow, all these emotions undergo metamorphoses in our hearts, as they beat with faith and speak to us of the most natural pleasures and the most realistic expectations. It is a fact that we, too, experience interconnected moments of ease and hardship, sweet weeks and bitter days, light and darkness which come and pass, like day and night. However, we sip the unsurpassable benevolence and joys from the hands of all these tribulations, because we have our beliefs, our connection to the Just One and our hopes! Those who do not recognize the trials and pleasures to be the product of the same will writhe in never-ending agony, while in our own atmosphere we see clearly that everything will be transformed into deep compassion. We taste a whole life, with its bitter and sweet facets like Kawthar, the blessed water of Paradise, in everything that we eat and drink, at every place that we inhabit, with all the beautifully divine discoveries of our own inner world. With all of their different wavelengths, we feel our sorrows shrink in the face of happiness, feel our pain melt away in pleasure and feel how our lives flow into glazed cisterns in a spectrum of colors. Our mortality is transformed into eternity; we exude smiles even when we cry.
In our world, the beliefs and the expectations that emerge from the heart of those beliefs are so intertwined with our lives that each chapter of our lives lends us the wings of the station of prayer and takes us to the gate of the Hereafter. It takes us there and lets our hearts drink of the beauties of heaven. In this way, we feel as if we are inhaling the scents of heaven. Even if we should let ourselves be swept along by our daily lives, the calls for prayer, songs that exalt God, the various sounds of prayer, the recitation of the names of God, those who give Him thanks, calling out His Uniqueness, letting this spill from the windows of the mosques, all draw us to their climate; they paint our souls with their hues, they give a tambour-like voice to our hearts, they make them sigh like a flute and excite them with the happiness of music. These sounds excite our souls and we are charmed by the mysteries pertaining to God, the charm of these mysteries which comes galloping from the depths of our inner world and which spreads to all our senses, this charm which tints the gardens of heaven in our thoughts and which flows past our lips like cascades of inspiration. Thus charmed, we stand awe-struck.
This charm, this recognition of the mysteries pertaining to God, reaches a higher level on the blessed days and nights when limitless abundance and bounty are showered upon us. This is true to such an extent that everything around us ascends in a state of joy, every corner takes on a spiritual hue and the excitement of our souls, aiming at metaphysical destinations, reaches its apex, or in Sufi terms, our souls reach the highest heaven of maturity. To the degree that we can hear and listen to what is all around us, we too rejoice like children who feel as if they are in the fair grounds of joy; thus we experience the happiness and joy of a feast day.
In such a world, the dawn flows into our houses from the doors and windows like an awaited guest; the evening comes into our private chambers like a lover; the night clings to us with its associations of reunion with the Confidant; and in every valley hands are raised up toward Him in prayer, ready to receive the gifts that will come from Him, assuming a state of metaphysical tension with the power of the soul, sighing, saying "Hold my hand dear Confidant, hold it, for I cannot do without You."
In such a world, prayers roar like the booming voices of Gulbang hymns and echo like the voice and breath of the divine depths; the warm solitude of the night envelopes our souls like silk; our pulses beat with the excitement of one who has received good tidings. Perhaps some of us keep singing His praises, come rain or shine, like the nightingale that breaks its heart in an effort to express the ideal rhythm for its emotions with the most touching of sounds. In a word, everyone is humming a melody with never-ending agony and joy, never-fading love and excitement, listening to the shivering of their souls and letting others hear it, too. Everyone sighs with the fever of love and makes other people feel it. Yes, as they reflect on the excitement in their souls and the inspiration of their hearts, expressing themselves one last time, they become the mouthpiece for the feelings shared by all and they are able to speak of the hidden meanings that they want to speak of but fail to verbalize.
The horizon of living yesterday-today-tomorrow at the same time with such a degree of faith and hope, of love and recognition of the mysteries that pertain to God, gives such a depth to life that each heart in the orbit of the hereafter finds itself wrapped up in the melodious harmony of emotions and ideas and is freed from the limiting, stifling effects of matter. I believe that the strongest basis of all human relations, the purest source of all pleasures, and the fountain of all love, longing, attraction, and gravity is this faith and hope. Every disciple of the heart who attains this faith and hope can experience and feel the state of being outside of time, with the ability to sense all of its depths.
Indeed, to the extent that one can attain this view, one can feel existence in a different manner, evaluate things in a different way and melt in on oneself with the color, taste, aroma and accent of manifestations from the Eternal; these attributes pervade everything, and people can reach a second existence with a new "birth after death." During such joyful hours, when the internal gaze is focused on that which is behind the visual scene of existence, one feels all the joys of being. One feels as if one has taken a shower in wisdom, as if one is freed from the weight of all things that are alien to one. The distant heavens shower blessings down upon these hearts, hearts thirsty for love and galloping with longing and affection; all hearts that live in fear of drying up are quenched. Celestial flowers flourish in these showers adorned with dreams!
Some of us may not be able to comprehend this state—a state which becomes a succession of struggle (to overcome the darkness with its all connotation) and dawn—of these people of faith and horizon; but all these are phenomena of the heart, soul and emotions. Living through the countless revelations of life, no one but the active heroes of the dawn and of the great strife can understand this love, enthusiasm, poetry, and music poured into our souls by the Eternal One. Those who do not understand this will not be able to understand these heroes, either. Those who remain distant to this fine and delicate life live in the darkness, while the comprehension of those who have found a position from where they can view the truth in such a way that it appears as obvious as it really is always feel this gift in all its wavelengths, sip it like the rivers of Paradise and live their earthly lives as if in Heaven.

Directed, Unitive Will: Love
Compassion, Acceptance, Connectedness
http://www.innerfrontier.org
.
.
We are. We are not alone. Even the proverbial mountain hermit, with no human contact, is not alone. This intuition underpins much of our life, much of what we feel and what we do. Though there clearly exist good evolutionary reasons for a group-oriented mentality (the group protects and feeds us and helps us survive), love goes beyond the need to survive. Love does not come to us as an inherited, genetic trait implanted by the struggle to survive. Rather, survival is a side benefit of love, because our inherent unity allows group cohesion. That fundamental unity transcends everything and ties it all together, forming the core quality of the unitive energy, which we know as love.
When will works through the unitive energy, it does not split apart. Although will is always one, indivisible, its surface manifestation through the lower energies appears fractured. Your will, your individuality seems separate from mine. My own will harbors conflicting desires; I am at odds with myself. These splits grow worse as the quality or level of energy descends. But at the heights of the unitive energy, will can retain its wholeness even in action. The result: love. We experience our deepest unity: unity of will.
Love transcends our similarities of body, which lead to cooperation. It transcends our sameness of consciousness, which gives us the kindred feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood. And it transcends our creative freedom and individual uniqueness, which arouse mutual respect. At the level of love, the One and only Actor acts through us all. This is the source of the unreasonable power of communal action; when we align our will with others, the combination stands closer to the power of the One Will. Acting in concert with other people, aligned in purpose and in action, raises us into a wholeness much greater than the sum of its human participants. We see this in team sports, in communal worship, in group meditation, in political movements, in choreographed dance troupes, and in many other forms of coherent group action.
Although the deepest unity of love seems beyond our usual experience, it touches us nevertheless, as compassion, acceptance, and connectedness.
One form of actively directed will working with the unitive energy is compassion. We see another person or an animal suffering and we suffer with them, as if it were our own. We feel compassion. With the unitive energy, their suffering is our own. One natural response is the wish never to cause harm, because harming someone else feels like harming ourselves. That harmlessness radiates and elicits the same in others. When you meet someone whom you immediately sense as harmless, you more easily feel your natural kinship, your shared humanity. Harmlessness feeds back to compassion, because seeing another person’s suffering affronts your attitude of non-harming and invokes your compassionate response.
Harmlessness and compassion are already there in us, in our core. All our inner work combines to remove the layers veiling those qualities. We can, though, directly practice them by acts of courtesy and kindness, by being aware of people as people, their situation and what’s needed, possible, and appropriate. And then we act. Every courtesy and every kindness spread a beneficial influence on our world and on us.
One form of receptive, but directed will with the unitive energy is acceptance, of ourselves and of others. Directing our will toward ourselves, being receptive to ourselves, with love, leads us to accept ourselves completely as we are. Such radical acceptance heals our inner wounds, some carried since childhood. Acceptance turns our inner critic into our inner coach. Rather than berate ourselves for our shortcomings, we see and know and allow ourselves to be as we are. Only from this utter self-acceptance can we find true inner peace and the possibility of real growth. After all, our self-judge, our superego, is part of our ego, part of our illusion of separateness, part of the non-entity that we build and defend and substitute for our self. Letting that go unburdens and frees us to get on with our life and our inner work. To let go of that acid self-critic is to love and respect our self.
Self-acceptance opens the door to accepting others unreservedly. Aware of own inner challenges and struggles, we see the same in others. Aware of our own desires for meaning, fulfillment, service, peace, love, and fun, we see the same in others. We intuit that we are not as different as we appear. If I can accept my own challenges, limitations, and motivations, then I may be able to accept that in my neighbor. If I can accept who I am, then maybe I can accept my neighbors for who they are. Then acceptance can reach such a state that it disappears. The question of whether or not to accept vanishes. We just are, as we are: my humanity, your humanity, our humanity.
With active compassion, we feel another’s suffering as our own. Because suffering can be so obvious and acute, it can connect us to complete strangers. In the case of someone we know well, we may be able to generalize beyond compassion to feel not only their suffering, but much more of their inner world, their emotions and desires, as if they were our own. Couple that with receptive acceptance of that person and a third factor opens our heart: the unitive synergy of connectedness, commonly known as love. The synergic willingness actively to be one with another person and receptively to accept that person as they are, opens us, in the case of a husband and wife, to true marriage. In other cases, such as a parent and child, this is love: inwardly embracing the other to the point of no separation. What they want for themselves, you want for them also. This love, this non-separation, this connectedness between husband and wife, between parent and child, between mentor and student, and between friends raises the whole tenor of our life. Love toward one leads to love toward others. Accepting and connecting with one person, makes it possible to accept and connect with others.
Of course, life confronts us with issues and apparent exceptions. A child wants something unhealthy or damaging, while the parent wants only what is best for the child. A friend imposes too much, setting love and respect for your friend against love and respect for yourself. Anger, resentment, jealousy and other destructive emotions distract us from the reality of love.
But we can face these and similar situations, difficult on their surface, by allowing love as our motivation. If we do not react, if we stay in peace within, we may hear the sound of oneness that is love. Love is not beyond us, nor foreign to us, nor distant from us; it touches us all through the unified will at our very core. Love is a more fundamental driver of our attitudes and actions than is self-centered egoism. When we do not dwell in separateness, love dissolves our egoism. Yet we do not lose ourselves in love; we are fully ourselves and fully connected.

First Impressions Are Intuitive
by Owen K Waters
Whenever you step firmly into heart-centered consciousness, your awareness immediately becomes more connected to your inner source of intuition. Through intuition, you become aware of information about people, places and events that springs from the essence of those people, places and events. This information is not delivered through the outside senses, although it may unfold within you at the same time that you receive sensory information.
While visual information relates only to the sense of sight, intuitive information includes much more. It includes all sensory information – sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste - and, in addition to that, the thoughts, feelings and memories that are relevant to the situation.
First impressions are more than just visual. They are intuitive as well. When you are about to meet a person for the first time and you are approaching them, you will receive a visual impression and your consciousness will also receive impressions about the nature of their consciousness, such as their true emotional state. That intuitive stream of information will come into your awareness alongside the visual stream and, if you are aware that it exists, you can add the intuitive information to your conscious impression of the person.
Everyone receives this intuitive information stream unconsciously, but, for it to arrive in your conscious mind, you have to:
1) Be aware that it exists.
2) Be open to receiving it.
The more you practice having an openness to intuitive information, the more this will develop.
Most people are not aware of their mental and emotional transmissions. In a crowd of people, these transmissions add together and there is as much mental noise as there is physical noise. As you become more in tune with your inner senses, you will find that, on some occasions, it’s better not to access your intuitive information for a time, just to give yourself some peace from the volume of mental noise.
At night, when you travel out-of-body in the spirit realms, communication is different than when you are awake in your physical body. The natural method of communication in your spirit body is to exchange information with others via thought. In the spirit world, people naturally know when to open for a communication and when to close down their thought transmissions again. There, you sense when a person ‘opens’ to you and sends a mental greeting, or when they are ‘closed’ and not offering any communication.
In daily life, first impressions are intuitive as well as visual. The reception of such information is automatic, but the conscious mind misses this information feed when it is focused entirely upon the external world.
Be more aware of your own intuitive information. Be open to it. Then, it will flow right into your conscious mind along with the visual information that your conscious mind is receiving

Once again I have had to let go of a loved one who no longer has a place in my life.
We are no longer in sync.
Another relationship that is ending.
Making room for the new.
And I am so tired of having a broken heart.
So flipping tired of feeling such intense sadness.
And if that was not enough, I am so empathic now that I feel all his sadness too.
It is almost unbearable and I just want it gone.
I just can't anymore I think.
And then the day ends and another begins and the sadness is still here....and somehow I continue to plod along in my life.
I shield myself, I cut the energetic ties,I heal the wounds, I fill with Light, and I still feel such incredible sadness I am completely overwhelmed.
I am so tired.
I seem to be stuck in a vortex of sad energy and endings.
I reach out to my light family but my heart is so heavy with sadness I cannot hear the guidance that I know is there waiting to be heard.
I can't hear my heart.
It sucks.
Since my awakening I have come to make all my decisions from my heart.
It is within me that I find peace and contentment.
But at the same time, it is that going within that alienates me from the rest of the world.
That makes me so weird and different that not many people can be around me too long it seems.
I don't even have to say anything.
They sit beside me and just start to tell me their troubles, I tell them my awakening story, and they integrate it and then move on.
And I find myself alone again.
And yes I know that there is no such thing as being alone.
We are all connected.
We are never alone.
Yes I know!
But I am still somewhat human, (am I ?) and I want to share my life with someone, without heartbreak.
It is not a weakness to want to share my life, is it?
To experience physical love.
After all that is why we are here isn't it?
So I will continue to trod along with my broken heart today.
To keep reaching inside of me and get every last bit of broken heart to come out.
I no longer want to live my life in sadness.
I am done with heartbreak.
I deserve to be happy.
We all do.
So as these energies beat the crap out of me, I will continue along.
I want all sadness gone.
I don't want to continue reliving this, it no longer serves my highest good.
I want to fill that space with love and light.
And I want to let him go so he can do the same, even though he does not believe in anything that is happening to me.
He does not believe the Light exists.
That is his path.
And I love him forever for it.
I want to ascend, whatever that experience means to me.
I want to be one with the Light.
And I know I have to go through this to get to where I am being called to go.
Wherever that may be.
So hold on my Light family.
All of us are going through this crap together at one time or another.
We will come through it with flying colors.
It has already occurred.
All is perfect, all is as it should be.
Sending light and love and healing to all.
You are in my heart, this I know for sure.
Have a beautiful day and thank you for being here with me.
I am not alone.

I was just sitting up thinking how I really have no one to relate with concerning my spiritual beliefs or spiritual interest that are actually physically in my life. This is a lifestyle to me and to some it is a nice thought. Most people I know like to see how many drinks they can get a guy to buy them or how many dollars they can get in their pocket or how many heads they can turn or how many cars they can get or how many haters they can get or how much food they can buy or how many pairs of shoes they have or how much jewelry they have or how many times they can get their hair done for $200, But me, I wonder how many times in a day I can forgive someone, how many times I can smile at someone when I just want to hold my head to the ground, how much I can give a person and still make it til the next paycheck or how many times I can be kind when someone has been rude to me over and over and over and still leave upset that I was so kind. I like to see how many people I can go without judging, or how many times I can tell a person they are not alone or how many times I can turn the conversation away from me and just listen to someone else. I like to see how many times I can put myself in someone elses shoes or how many times I can thank god for being amazing even in the rough times. I have always been blessed with a sense of self and a non jealous spirit so it is not that im putting myself last it is just like I want to affect the people around me but they are just not awaken to the things I feel are really important. It sucks.

Hey there dearest Lighty friends,
Don’t you think it’s strange, how children love to be frightened and scared s*&tless lol?
I was at the supermarket earlier this evening, waiting outside was a young girl, about 10 years of age, obviously babysitting her approximately three month old sibling, who was sitting in her stroller, as cute as a button. Both were having a grand old time waiting for mum to emerge with their groceries - playing that age old game of ‘Peek-a-Boo’. Big sis had a baby blanket and she was covering the little darling bubby sisters eyes with it, big sis was saying to baby sis - ‘Amelia – where are you?’ Then she would suddenly whip the blanket from baby’s eyes and shout, ‘BBBBOOOOOOOOO!!!’ Baby sis, would sit there absolutely startled for a couple of secs, really not sure whether to laugh or cry, then suddenly she’d just burst into a fit of uncontrollable baby giggles of delight. Kicking her little feet frantically and waving her hands in excitement, obviously wanting big sis to do it again.
So I got to thinking about this kind of behavior. You see, babies are naturally born with absolutely no fear. Fear is something that I personally believe is learnt. For example, most small children don’t have an innate fear of water, unless they have survived a traumatic experience that involved water. Hence so many childhood deaths by drowning in backyard swimming pools, or when my daughter was crawling, I was paranoid about her falling down our steps – well as it would happen, my worst fears came true. One day, she maneuvered the child barrier to the stairs and went tumbling down from top to bottom. I was just paralyzed by shock, expecting the very worst. Then to my utter amazement, she just got up and went about her business as usual – but when I gathered myself, I fell apart emotionally and freaked out. Then she reacted to how I was reacting, so consequently, she started to bawl her eyes out too. I was outwardly projecting my fear onto her. Anyway, subsequently, she learnt to navigate the stairs from that day forward – it was much better and safer to crawl down them backwards lol.
Just think about it? From all our childhood stories and favorite fairytales – they all involve a character who is evil and scary – a wicked witch, an evil queen, a big bad wolf blah, blah. Think about the literary phenonomen of Harry Potter? Not exactly enhancing sweet dreams for little children in between the pages of those volumes – however kids, just love to be frightened out of their wits. The scarier and spookier the better – even children’s amusement parks are filled with hair raising, thrilling and adrenalin pumping rides – Ghost Train, rollercoaster etc. There is an entire industry focused around terrifying children. I just think that is really odd – don’t you? I was no different as a child – loved scary ghost stories and creepy mysteries – as well as bloodcurdling and spine tingling fairground rides lol.
I remember when my niece and nephew were about four and five years of age. I was always telling them stories (not particularly scary ones and very rarely did I read them a story from a book) – often I would just make one up from the top of my head, they were the best ones, they would just love them – because I was using my imagination and I was indirectly teaching them to use theirs.
Anyway, one night we were lying in bed together, my nephew Liam, my niece Rhiannon and myself, all snuggled up ready for sleep, after I’d finished one of my stories. Next thing Liam asks ‘Aunty LouLou can you tell us a scary story?’ I replied ‘Well darling, I really don’t think that’s a good idea, considering you are just about to go to sleep’. Both started begging me ‘Please, please Aunty LouLou, we promise we won’t be scared, we’ll go to sleep’. I said again, ‘Gee I don’t know – I have some pretty scary stories to tell but I think they may be too frightening for certain little boys and girls’. Well that just made it worse, ‘Please, please, please Aunty LouLou – just tell us one’. This banter went on for quite some time then finally I relented. ‘Okay’ I said, ‘Just one story – and this is the scariest story I know, so you are not to complain if you get really frightened’ – ‘We promise we won’t, we promise’ they both went on.
So I set the atmosphere, dimmed the lights and got both of them to cuddle and huddle around me in the bed, then I commenced my menacing tale. It went something like this, ‘Sometimes, in the darkest part of the night, when everything is quiet and still, in the deepest part of the forest there is a tree. Not just an ordinary tree but a tree that walks by night ---------no, no, I can’t finish the story, it is way to chilling and creepy. I think I had better leave it at that’. I got out of bed to go, much to the distress of my niece and nephew, ‘Please Aunty LouLou – what about the tree that walks by night – what did it do – where did it go???’ I just shook my head and said, ‘I’m so sorry my darlings but it is way too scary to finish telling you this story – you will never sleep again if I do’. By this time they were pleading with me ‘Please, please, please Aunty LouLou tell us what happened?’ I just said to them ‘This is all I’m going to tell you okay – then I don’t want to hear another word about the tree that walks by night’. Both nodded their heads in agreement. ‘Alright then – all I can say is that there is a happy ending – now goodnight my darlings’. With that, I turned and left the room.
Rhiannon and Liam are both in their teens now but to this day, they both confess that was the most terrifying story that was ever told to them, because I just left the rest to their imagination. Call me cruel – or call me kind but ultimately they scared themselves stupid lol. I sublimely projected a fear onto them – THE TREE THAT WALKS BY NIGHT – oooooowwwwwaaaaaahhhhh!!! Boogedy!!! Boogedy!!! Weird hey???
Much love and happiness to you all - sweet dreams but be careful of 'The Tree That Walks By Night'.

Hey there dearest Lighty friends,
So today I’ve been thinking a lot about innocence. Why? I hear you ask. Well, I guess it stems from a response from another Lighty to a previous blog of mine.
I have a ‘Rogues Gallery’ of family photographs that adorn the wall leading up my staircase. One of these pics is of me, as a little girl at about three years of age. I’m sitting down on a chair, holding a big teddy bear. All dressed up, in a pretty pink frilly frock, with a satin sash tied at my back. White shoes and lacey socks on my feet - dark hair, with bangs, with a huge ribbon on top of my head, smiling broadly, still with my perfectly white milk teeth, wide hazel eyes, big and round and full of innocence, purity, beaming with the anticipation of surprise and excitement.
I can clearly remember the day that photo was taken, mum was fussing around with me and my younger sister and brother, getting us primped and preened in time for the photographer. I recall thinking I was a royal princess in all my finery, or a beautiful ballerina – swirling and twirling, dancing happily and freely around our living room. I can also recall what it was like to feel that childlike naivety and the ingenuous sense of unsullied freedom - I was completely untried and untested in the ways of the world. I had a sense of utter safety and security – I was truly loved by my parents.
However, I was a particularly vulnerable and over sensitive little girl. Both my grandmothers could see this in me and both were quite protective of me. I couldn’t stand pain or suffering relating to anything defenseless or powerless, particularly with regard to wee animals and trees and plants. I also recollect as a small child, seeing a vase of dead roses, mum had picked from the garden a few days beforehand, I couldn’t understand or comprehend, that something so exquisite could die and wither away. It was so painful to watch the beautiful wilted petals fall from the roses one by one - I would gather them in my little hands and vainly attempt to put them back on the roses – just so they still looked beautiful. It literally got to the stage where my mum wouldn’t pick flowers from her garden anymore because I couldn’t stand watching them die, it was completely distressing for me – she had to opt for plastic ones, which were in vogue in the 60’s anyway lol. I had a major aversion to pain, suffering and things dying. To me it just seemed so completely unnatural. Funny, how a child can think.
I now regard myself, as such a lucky and fortunate little girl. I knew I was dearly loved and I trusted, trusted, trusted explicitly, not knowing what my future held, actually I was totally oblivious to the future, I thought I was going to be a big girl when I started school lol. I just naturally assumed that life would always treat me fairly and I would continue to live this way forever. Life then, was absolutely carefree, I didn’t fret over anything really – where I was going to sleep that night, where my next meal was coming from. Never gave two hoots regarding the coming days, all that was important to me was living in the moment. Playing my imaginary games – I had such a vivid and unruly imagination – my friends and siblings never refused to play with me. I would take them on adventures and journeys to places that were beyond their wildest dreams.
So now, I’m looking and scrutinizing that picture of this particular little girl. I know she was once me but what has changed about her? As I look closer I notice something significant – yes, obviously I’m so much older, but there is something more – it’s something within my eyes. My eyes are completely different now, they’ve changed profoundly over the years – they no longer hold that demure childlike simplicity – my eyes are harder now, more cynical but so much wiser and wary to the ways of this sometimes harsh world. There is a deep sadness in my eyes also, one of regret and disallusionment. During my life, as I grew into adulthood, my eyes have seen things that should never have to be seen or witnessed by another human being. Especially a small child, who is constantly exposed to trauma. The damage inflicted upon such a young one is soul destroying and usually irreparable.
Consequently, as I contemplate in the NOW, over my past, present and future, I guess all this has led me on my spiritual path, in an indirect manner, I suppose I wasn’t really conscious of it until just recently. My urge to protect and guard innocence and purity – I wish to see it preserved for as long as possible, before it eventually and inevitably becomes tainted and jaded by life’s challenges and trials. My wish is for all children to have the same sanctuary and safe environment as I did as a little girl, where they can be at liberty to be innocent and unadulterated for as long as is possible. I guess I can say the same for our natural fauna and flora too – everything has the right to flourish without deliberate contamination or harmful interference by another.
Every child has a RIGHT to a childhood – they are entitled to it. No child should ever be exposed to senseless suffering, pain, neglect, abuse and to the horrors of war. This is one the greatest crimes humanity has inflicted upon itself. I believe it is our responsibility and obligation to protect and guard the innocence and purity of our children for as long as we can, without forcing them to grow up beyond their extremely tender hearts and minds and prior to their vital informative years. Essentially, we must guard and cherish the innocence and purity of everything – all living creatures for that matter. This is something I’m extremely passionate about - those that know me well, understand that this is my truth.
Why is it so important for our children to grow up so quickly these days? Sometimes I wish I never had to mature and I long for that uncorrupted childhood perspective of our mere existence, just a day to day occurrence, tomorrow never really mattered. I want to view this world through the pure eyes of child once more – O and what a beautiful world it once was – and probably still is, particularly if you are a happy child, knowing beyond doubt, that you a truly loved and wanted and so very much meant to be here.
Besides there is absolute TRUTH in innocence - it rarely ever lies or deliberately deceives.
Much love and happiness to you all

Dear One,
During this time of the year it would be easier to stop the earth from spinning than to stop the surge
of new life being awakened within her.
Seeds buried in the earth are broken apart from the inside out, made to release their delicate shoots
of grasses, herbs, and flowers that reach for the light above them. And, as if by magic, along the sides
of seemingly lifeless branches appear silver-green buds of baby leaves that stretch out to unfold
themselves like banners in the sun.
Life is beginning again everywhere, and so can we, if we are willing.
The power of spring lends us the fresh forces we need to break through and to let go of old patterns.
During this time of the year, the possibility of making a brand new beginning in life is never greater.
Why is this true? Because spring also dawns within us, and if we will align ourselves with the power
of its presence, then the unstoppable principle of rebirth itself will work for us.
How can we harness this planetary power for our own good? Here are just a few of the many ways
we can work with spring to start a new life for ourselves:
All past wishes lying dormant within us -- to outgrow old limitations -- should be brought out into the
light of our longing to transform them and be left there to bathe in our need to be free.
Whatever conditions in life may have once overcome us should be re-challenged now, regardless
of past results.
And, as spring marks the return of a celestial light that gradually grows greater than the darkness it has
come to dismiss, so is this the best time to stand up and start walking through whatever frightens us.
We should work to detect and detach ourselves from old heartaches, keeping our eye on emerging
possibilities, instead of looking back at lost opportunities. By acting in this way -- as though we are free --
we find that what once held us captive no longer has the power to keep us down. We succeed because
we have becomes partners with the light of Real Life.
Lastly, spring is a time of great and natural tension for all living creatures on earth. Nature sows into every
last one of her children an urgency to seek out their "other" and to procreate in order to ensure the continuity
of their species.
Each spring great forces are released to work upon and within us. Life is literally seeking itself through us,
asking us to open ourselves and receive what will renew us. But, if we would receive this new life, with all its
promise, then we must be willing to sacrifice within us whatever stands in its way. We can only be made as
new as we are willing to let go of who we have been, and springtime not only awakens this need within us,
but it also grants us the possibility of its realization.

I often call myself an 'average Joe', because this is what we all are - Equal :-)...
So the label, 'Average Joe', is a very appropriate one...
Our Father Works through us all, when He decides it is appropriate to do so...
And He Works through us all in many different Ways, with each of us playing our parts Equally...
No-one is 'special' - so we shouldn't be making anyone feel 'special'...
It's simply not appropriate, as we are all 'work-in-progress'...
If we get the job done, we will simply have Healed all within our Cradle of Life...
So that we may all continue our many Sojourns, in Harmony with Mother Earth...
Doing what we should have been doing in the first place - taking Care of the Garden...
It really is as simple as that, and if i end my life having helped to Realise this Dream, for ALL of us, then i shall be very Happy - as we should all be, Equally :-) :-)

Being in the earthly vibe these days is hard for everyone and impossible to sustain for many. I have heard of lost hope and no future before, but this is serious business to consider right now. In the recent weeks, the social structure has imploded all over the place, the ones with power are enclosing those without, and hard times are getting harder in every sector of society. It doesn’t matter if you work hard or are out of options, it’s getting near impossible to get ahead and feed the hunger that wells up all around. Meanwhile, those with the goods are getting greedy, and it may well prove to be their undoing at a critical point ahead. For now, the suffering for so many is more than I can bear thinking about, mostly for the innocents, the children, and the beaten dreamers of yesterday.
Yet, there is light coming through the darkness, legitimate forays into hope in the form of shifts of power and rationality taking the reins of leadership. You are in for some surprises, I think, and I’m eager to see what could unfold in the coming months. It feels like it’s time for the card house to fall and a new world to be built up, but it has to be timed just right so no one gets misplaced. It’s already started. Once it gets up to full speed, we’ll see the kind of change that has been promised and hoped for for eons of time.
One of the big flashing signs that’s lighting up the way to change just happened over the weekend, in the new moon solar eclipse. The energies it opened up were ready to pour through and we were ready this time to receive them. They will keep coming in and no amount of intentional manipulation of weather, atmosphere, news or anything else can keep them from anointing everyone on this globe. You can refuse them but they will nonetheless soak you. It is time to talk about the future in tones of hope, letting fear have its brief flash in the pan and be gone, and for life to re-establish itself among us and within us. The door is open and it’s staying that way. Home is on the threshold. Sanity has arrived.
There is no point in letting the daily news have more than the moment of grief that the inability of mind to comprehend the bigger picture allows. I feel grief and it is real, for every story that grabs my heart and wrenches it from fiery worlds of Hell into the reality of this world’s insane overlay of heartlessness and waste. Yet this grief doesn’t consume like I expect it to. It burns out some sense of separation from those who are suffering and brings me closer to knowing that it must change, it has to change, there is no option but for everything to change. In that moment of pain from someone else’s entry into loss, I grieve, then grab the energy of that and throw myself into the totality of the consciousness that is love and comfort and peace, taking with me the pain that has touched me. It’s all I can do, but perhaps there is nothing else that we can do but to act in this way, to bring pain into the open heart of the creative mind of divine source itself.
You have my sincere wishes for peace to find you and for grief to evolve into pieces of light, the pure thoughtform energy of light that is the basis of life. May bright mornings come soon to dissolve the dark of doubt and freedom lead us each to the field of a new dawn. I sure am ready, and I know you are too. Grand awakening for the whole planet is almost arrived. In love, I wish you well.

The entire cosmos is a mirror to the divine
by Fethullah Gülen
http://www.fethullahgulen.org
Everything in this universe is a mirror pointing to God Almighty, like an articulate language telling of Him, and a tune singing His Name. Human beings, things, and the whole of existence always reflects Him and bears witness to Him in their sounds and silences, acts and positions, in their beings and the fruits they yield. In their manners and stances they allude and point to Him. They are like shadows emanating from His existence in their weave, pattern, and accents…. Let those who cannot see fail to see; those who can see with their insight read His signs in everything, and listen to such sounds and words from His different manifestations. If hearts are open to Him and eyes can see beyond corporeality—this may not be to the same degree in everyone—whenever we look at existence as if we were reading it like a book, whenever we visit the exhibition of this earth and set ourselves to gazing at it, we find everything in it as mesmerizing as in dreams. Those who do not or cannot look at things and events in the Name of the Creator cannot feel this charm, underlying meaning and content. They cannot see the beauty, harmony, grace, and the underlying purpose, will, and wisdom behind all of these… They cannot feel the light, knowledge, love and vigor flowing from them into our souls.
However, all things are under a mysterious spell all the time. Nature sways like a flower bed. Rays of light gently descend as if being poured down on our heads with compassion. Breezes caress us with a new grace at every moment. And the winds blow with a mixture of scents.
In the sight of someone who has managed to adopt the right perspective, everything living or non-living points to God with its manner and appearance; as things smile at us, they make allusions to Him, presenting ranks of pictures of meanings which belong to Him. They open up to our gaze entrancing vistas and let our souls listen to choruses of the most delightful sounds. All of existence is enlivened in our eyes as if it were feeling the joy of reunion. We join the same rhythm at times, we enjoy the rapture as far as we are capable… and we remember Him in every breath we draw and release. As our vision become clearer, we see the hues appearing and hear the sounds echoing around us differently. We interpret every act and every sound very differently as if we were able to understand the tongues of all things. From the blades of grass and the trees swaying around us to the birds flying overhead, from the tiny creatures hurrying here and there near our feet to intimidating creatures of immense size, from an entire arena of things to humankind, which represents the hands, feet, eyes, ears, tongue, and lips of the tree of creation, in short, from everybody, every event, and every object, we get different messages; we try to decode them in our own way, enter deeper reveries as we succeed, open up more towards the essence, are further invigorated—how happy are those who can accomplish all this!—and then we can focus on the dimension that lies behind the apparent face of all things.
For such people, this universe and what it contains seems like a comprehensive book. This magical palace called the world becomes an exhibition of divine art. The life they lead turns into an enjoyable journey to the Hereafter and what they see and sense makes them realize that they are alive. And then they feel as if they were soaring past the horizons of the heart and spirit for a lifetime. As existence and what is beyond open to their consciousness, the knowledge and love of God within them transforms into a deeper love and attachment. Now these people feel Him in everything and relate every event and every object to Him. Life becomes more beautiful to them than ever before; everything changes its manner and language and assumes a more magical identity. Then their spirit, which ascends beyond all obvious considerations, awakens to deep secrets never unlocked before.
If we manage to overcome the barriers of the body and corporeality, we see the entire cosmos as if everything has passed to a different dimension and feel as if we are in a world of surprises. Then we interpret every event differently—the air we breathe every moment; the rivers which flow chanting His Name, the blades of grass swaying sweetly as they offer bouquets of melodies to us, and the trees; the stars singing a new song to us every night; the moons and suns, whose rising and settings are all adjusted in precise measure and which offer us different feasts every night—and what is more, we feel as if everything is a part of our being because of the spaciousness faith brings to our hearts. And then every time we gaze at the magnificent spectacle of this cosmos, we let ourselves go into waterfalls of love and vitality and feel as if we are soaring through a magical time towards the reunion with the Most Beloved. As we walk, we benefit from the lights of the signs He placed on the road, we converse with everything living or non-living we encounter, give heartfelt greetings to the signs and sign bearers, try to transform the difficulties of travel into blessings of the way, make the hours, minutes, and seconds granted for our journey gain such depth that they become a means to reach eternity, and turn this transient life into a corridor leading to the realms beyond. Actually, all the beauties of this world which evoke surprise and admiration in hearts can only open up through our intentions and adjusting our perspective correctly, provided that the Beloved One looks upon us with mercy. Then these beauties become eternal, and a day comes when they rise on the horizons of our spirit and shine. We feel the genuine taste and delight of the fruits of life we enjoy thanks to the graces of the Beloved One. We understand the relation of other beings to us and the warm company they keep along the way by feeling and sensing their relation to the Only Beloved One. And then, this relation within carries on as long as we manage to keep the warmth of our love, care, and closeness for Him, since all loves, cares, and relationships are for Him, who is the sole Ruler of the throne of love. Everything tells of Him in a different manner and style, utters words about Him to passersby, and whispers love of Him into our ears. So we love everything and everybody we come across on the way because of Him. If we are trying to keep our eyes on these roads, it is to see something from Him, and if we are alert to sounds, this is to hear something from Him. In fact, this is His right over us, and our responsibility toward Him. If a word is related to Him in the end, it may be considered to have found its value. Different considerations bear value if they can open a door to Him; and we can say that progress is being made if it is possible to keep every move and action within the scope of seeking His approval. We already know that we are sent into this world in order to prepare for a different realm. As for inviting to belief, it is nothing but calling people to such preparation. Those who believe in that are always aware in their feelings, thoughts, intentions, and all their actions that they are responding to that call, that they need to respond, and that they are on this testing ground and in this place of suffering in order to become worthy of the bounties and blessings beyond. So they constantly walk toward Him with the light of His presence in their eyes, the charm of believing in Him in their hearts, and a ceaseless desire for reunion in their dreams; by feeding their spirituality with faith, Islam, and perfect goodness,[1] by being immersed in knowledge of God, and being refined through love and zeal…. They are in a state of constant bliss, surprise and admiration. They listen to sounds belonging to Him along the way, ask everybody and everything they see they come across about Him. They walk toward that Eternal King of all the known and unknown realms, as if they are fixed on the target.
They do not ask how long the road is, when the destination will be reached, or when the reunion will be realized; they do not wish for this journey of knowledge of God to end for they expect further graces and need more compassion. They are filled with considerations of loyalty and determination always to act sincerely, and eagerness for a wider perspective in their contemplation.
As they progress, they see better the smiling face of their fortune, the other side of their life, and the mysterious world of faith. Then they begin to draw new messages from everything, and they become more enthusiastic with every new sound and every glad tiding. They keep ascending as if realizing a holy Ascension (miraj). They reach levels previously unknown, travel through worlds unfamiliar to them, and greet everybody and everything they see. They shower all of these with smiles of contentment and walk toward the ultimate limits of the potential of their nature; smelling the roses and flowers on the way, talking with everything and everyone they encounter, conversing with light and shadow; listening to something of Him in every sound, every word, every accent, and every sight.
A time comes after this when they are always with Him, and they are freed of themselves. Their vision changes; they see the thorn as rose, and poison as honey… and they meet such great figures hidden behind humble appearances. God knows how many times they feel dizzy at different beauties, how many times their hearts thrill with divine surprises, how many chambers of secrets they visit, and how many times they receive divine compliments and graces in private. Every time they see and contemplate the different manifestations of His Beauty in different mirrors, the blood almost drains from their hearts, the rhythm of their pulse changes, and they sense Him alone. As a matter of fact, while our sensing Him is His due right, it is both a duty and blessing for us to do— or try to do—so. For the travelers who are aware of the gravity of this duty and who aim to attain the delight of this blessing, their journey is like a trip around the gardens of Paradise, no matter how steep and difficult the road being walked, and with the help of His signs placed here and there, covering the seemingly impossible distances turns into a journey of joy and zeal; apparently impassable chasms or obstacles are leapt over with the zest for reunion, and no trace of fatigue from the way or from the troubles of walking is felt; they wish to walk these paths forever. These souls, who are fixed on reaching the Beloved and seeing Him, are aware that they continue their lives by freeing themselves from the trivial matters of corporeality and the narrowness of the world, that they lead their lives within the vast and colorful atlas of faith and knowledge of God and are nourished by His graces. They revere everything they contemplate as a letter or a stamp from Him and always walk around the limits of spiritual delights. They think every peak of knowledge and love of God to be the ultimate citadel; they glorify Him with “God is great,” and express their gratitude with “all praise be to God.” However, they meet a new shower of surprises two steps later and find themselves in a different symphony of spiritual pleasures and knowledge of God.
On every new peak they reach they sense the All-Beautiful One in His different manifestations, they once more rise with love and vitality and walk toward the next peak which lies further on. Beauties follow one another on the path they walk; neither the manifestations of His Beauty end, nor does the pleasure of contemplation in their souls.
For those who can see and perceive, this road features love and zeal, just as it is replete with reunion in the form of drops which point to the ocean. God knows what else those who see the ocean in the drop, who contemplate constellations in an atom witness from the realms beyond, and what extraordinary sounds they listen to, for, “This world is but a mirror; nothing lasts but with the Almighty Lord” (anon). So, reading the signs is the purpose of creation and the essential wisdom of being human.
[1] The term ihsan, which is translated here as perfect goodness also denotes worshipping sincerely and seriously as if one were able to see God or at least in the awareness of being seen by Him.

It is not just what we do, it is how we are.
So yesterday I told the story of my awakening to two new people in my life.
Two men, which is awesome to see, as it used to be mostly women who heard my story...
That is one way I spread the Light.
I have found that every new person that comes into my life and finds themselves one on one with me,
is ready to hear my awakening story.
My ability to switch between 3d and whichever "d" I am when connected to my higher self,is instant.
It's like I shift higher and tell my story to where they understand it.
Another way to spread the Light is simple and beautiful.
I realized this today.
Be happy.
That's it.
Every moment of our day when we do something that makes us happy, we are spreading Light.
By being happy,we help others see that they can be happy too.
We help them remember happiness.
They start to question their lives and try to figure out what would make them happy.
They start to question...and that is a good thing.
By being happy we raise the vibrations around us.
The people around us pick up the higher vibrations and they feel happy too.
Our vibrations affect those around us.
The Law of attraction is real.
Right now we are all working very hard to try and keep ourselves centered so we can anchor the Light for our brothers and sisters.
Stay in the moment and allow yourself to feel happy in the moment.
Remember to play.
Listen to your body.
Remember to not take it so serious.
Relax.
Everything is as it should be and deep in our hearts we are finally starting to hear the truth.
The shift is happening and we all feel it.
It is no longer a wish and a prayer.
It's real and it's is time to expand once again.
So while we are all spreading the Light with our own special gifts 24/7,remember to gift ourselves too, with happiness.
Be a lighworker by being happy.
Not too shabby of a "job" description...
In Light and Love
Have a beautiful day my light family.
: )
marie
We are doing an amazing job, ALL of us, lets feel the happiness that is being here at this amazing time on Mother Earth! : )

Hey There My Lighty Friends,
I’m off out to my Bollywood Party later on this evening but before I go, I thought I would share this funny, true story that happened to me today. It’s a tad bitter/sweet but really quite humorous.
I was over at my neighbor’s house earlier this afternoon, Misha and her family are Punjabi Austral/Indians – so Mish was helping me get organized for this party. I’ve got the whole Bollywood thing happenin lol – hands Henna’d, a Bindi gem attached to my third eye, she even did my eyes up with dark kohl and glitter, lent me the most exquisite peacock blue Sari trimmed with gold embroidery - so I’m looking rather exotic but in a really weird way lol.
Last week, my daughter sent me some ‘Scratchies’ for Mother’s Day, along with a lovely card, (you know those scratch and win little lottery tickets?). Personally, I never buy them, I sort of never got into the gambling scene, Rarely, do I ever bother purchasing a lottery ticket, don’t even place a bet on a horse in the Melbourne Cup (complete blasphemy but Oz standards heehee) – it’s just not my thing. I’ve never regarded myself as a particularly ‘lucky’ person when it comes to raffles and the random winning stakes. I don’t really focus on money or financial gain. Money is either something that I have, or more often than not, don’t have. I’ve always been indirectly provided for. I just place my trust in the Universe to get me through the lean monetary times I have experienced in my life. Universe always seems to do the job just perfectly for me, so money doesn’t really concern me. Basically, I can live with it and I know I can survive without it.
So after all the ‘glam’ treatment at Misha’s place, we were having a coffee and just chatting over the kitchen table. It was then I remembered I had the Scratchies my daughter had sent me in my purse. So I just thought I would start scratching them off whilst I was talking to Mish. Scratched two tickets off with no luck and I had one left. I said to Mish ‘O well darling, you know the saying, third time lucky’, we had a bit of a giggle, like ‘as if’ heehee. I continued to scratch away on the third ticket, (it was one of those tickets that if you scratch off the same amount three times you win the amount indicated on the ticket). Here I am, scratched off the first number $250,000, didn’t think anything of it. A couple of cash amounts later, I scratch off another $250,000, still I didn’t get excited – just began to wishful think lol, continued to scratch the remaining boxes– then on the final scratch, another $250,000. I just didn’t react at all, I just said to Mish ‘Darling, can you have a look at this ticket and tell me if I am seeing things? I think I may have won something substantial here?’ I handed the ticket to Mish, she looked at the ticket for a minute, then she looked me directly in the eyes, this big smile suddenly lit up her face, she just replied in complete shock ‘OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! You’ve won $250,000’. She jumped across the table and gave me a hhhooogggeee hug. We were laughing, and making all sorts of joyful noises.
Her little brother Jos was sitting in the living room watching TV, he came into the kitchen, initially to tell us to be quiet because he couldn’t hear what was on the telly. We just couldn’t talk – Mish just handed him my ticket and said ‘Take a look at this!!!’ Jos just casually gazed at the ticket for a second then he just exploded with this whooping noise – ‘Yeeeehaaaa!!!’ lol. Consequently, all three of us were jumping around in the kitchen, hollering and cheering, hopping up and down with joy and sheer happiness - we even did a ‘happy dance’ together lol. The ruckus we were making was incredible and probably violated all noise restrictions stipulated within suburbia lol.
Consequently, Misha’s dad came in from outside to find out what all the fuss and commotion was about, we were all running, darting and dancing around the kitchen like little dazzling fire flies, hugging and kissing each other. Jos gave his dad the ticket and said ‘Look at this Dad – Lou has won the BIG ONE’. So Raj took the ticket and sat down at the table to look at it, whilst we were all carrying on, partying and celebrating like there was no tomorrow. He just watched us with a slight smile on his face, until we finally settled and sat back down at the table.
I had my hand over my heart, trying to catch my breath ‘I can’t believe it – I never win anything’ I was utterly overwhelmed and was puffing and panting – we seriously exerted a lot of energy in our delighted elation lol. Raj just grabbed my hand from across the table and gently squeezed it, ‘Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Lou – but sadly you haven’t won anything’. I just looked at him quizzically, ‘What are you saying? Are you sure?’ He replied, ‘I just didn’t want to take away from the moment you three were sharing. It was so wonderful to experience pure joy in my home – but one of the numbers is actually $25,000 not $250,000’. What??? He handed the ticket back to me – Mish and Jos were looking over my shoulder as we again scrutinized the ticket. To our utter dismay and disappointment, Raj was right. How could the three of us be wrong? We all saw the same thing. However fatefully, it was true, one of the numbers was $25,000 – AAAWWW and a big sigh , our shoulders dropped together, all simultaneously with the cheerless realization – how disheartening.
I must admit, initially I was really dismayed and so were Mish and Jos. It was literally like having the wind taken out of our sails. We sat there quietly for a couple of seconds, nobody saying a word. Then I just started to laugh, I just couldn’t stop laughing. Mish said to me ‘Lou what’s so funny?’ I could barely respond, I was laughing so hard, I just replied, ‘Universe is so funny sis – at least I now know what it feels like to be a winner for a change – even though it was just for a little while’. Then we all started to laugh, even Raj, we were cracking up and chortling away at our stupid blunder, making gags about how amusing and embarrassing it would have been, if we had taken the ticket to cash it in heehee. How ironic, that the three of us saw exactly the same thing and how grateful we were that Raj has picked up the discrepancy. It was a grand comedy between us.
One thing I also took away from this experience, it that in fact, I actually had won something that money could never buy. I’m so grateful to have such good friends that genuinely shared my joy and who were sincerely happy for me in my fortune– even when it turned out to be misfortunate lol. I really am a WWWIIINNNAAAHHH after all. How lucky am I really???
Anyway irrespective, I intend to have a wonderful evening and celebrate my wonderful misfortunate good fortune, in true Bollywood style – YEEEHAAAHHH!!!
Much love and real happiness to you all

Is Karma Punishment, or Opportunity???
A long time ago, although i was living a 'good life' for an 'average Joe' such as myself...
I became very disallusioned with it all - all experiences i chose in life, started to become very 'samey'...
What had previously excited me, quickly became just another 'Groundhog Day'...
Causing me to think, that 'unthinkable thought', that 'there's just gotta be more to life than this'.
Within 6 months of thinking this, unthinkable thought, my life completely fell apart...
And i quickly became 'the angry young victim'...
No matter how much i tried to make a 'success' out of my life, once more, absolutely nothing worked...
Whereas, previous to thinking the unthinkable thought, life seemed to give me everything i wanted...
Eventually, the struggle became exhausted, within me.
After a while, i realised how 'well off' i was - for i had a roof over my head, food in my belly, and was living within comparative peace...
So i was able to start looking Inwards, in search for my Truth...
What i now Realise, is that, although life seemed extremely tough at times, the experiences i 'endured', were exactly the experiences i needed, in order to Realise that, there is indeed, much 'more to life than this'...
So it can be seen that the CAUSE of my Karma - the initial asking of 'the question' - resulted in the EFFECT, such experiences have had upon me.
As is said, 'Always Look On The Bright Side of Life'. :-) :-) :-)

From my personal Perspective, the Laws of Karma, are irrefutable...
Simply because it has been Shown to Be, as i have walked my often winding Path through life...
So, quite naturally, i would be a fool to even try to deny this...
It would simply be a betrayal of my life, for as we sow, we reap also.
I have no idea whether we are being visited by ET's or not...
Yes, i have seen many video's and photographs of alleged UFO's...
But let's all keep our feet firmly fixed on the ground, also...
By acknowledging that we are living within an ever-developing, technological world.
I can easily believe in the possibility of having produced our own highly advanced craft...
But, whether this is true or not, i have no idea - for i have no personal evidence of this...
Similarly, i am open to believing that knowledge of genetitics, could be a lot more advanced, than we are led to believe...
But, again, i have no evidence to support this.
I find crop circles to be quite fascinating...
But note that their 'complexity' seems to be evolving also...
In a similar way to how our technology is evolving...
So who is producing them??? - only time will tell, i guess.
I often Ponder 'ET's', within the framework of Karma...
And being a rather simple-minded soul, i tend to think in a simple-minded way...
So i simply ask myself, the following question...
If my Father gave me the task of 'looking after the Garden', should i expect Him to be happy, or disappointed with me???

Beginning with the early dawn of each day, I will radiate joy to everyone I meet.
I will be mental sunshine for all who cross my path. I will burn candles of
smiles in the bosoms of the joyless. Before the unfading light of my cheer,
darkness will take flight.
Let my love spread its laughter in all hearts, in every person belonging to
every race. Let my love rest in the hearts of flowers, of animals, and of
little specks of stardust.
I will try to be happy under all circumstances. I will make up my mind to be
happy within myself right now, where I am today.
Let my soul smile through my heart and let my heart smile through my eyes,
that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts
I will always behold in my life the perfect, healthy, all-wise, all-blissful image
of God/Creator/Source.
I will try to be a joy billionaire, finding my wealth in serving the God within every
soul. I will satisfy my need for spiritual and material prosperity at the same time.

Hi friends.
I thought I would share something I feel is very important to all of us, personally, in a time when there are sooo
many earth changes, energy shifts, emotional and physical challenges brought on by the last two mentioned.
Just to name a couple of things that are affecting everyone.
And, add to that the climatic conditions causing widespread havoc and disaster in different areas of the world.
Some caused by snow, some caused by extensive rain flooding cities and towns here in Australia.
In my home State of Qld. to be exact.
It is very easy dear friends to become overwhelmed by all of this as we get bombarded by daily news around the
world of something or another that is either changing, getting destroyed, nature suffering because of chemicals,
unexplained beachings of sea mammals, thousands of birds falling from the skies to their death, poverty increasing,
well, you know it all by now. Frustration can easily rule our lives if we allow it to.
After pondering all of this as I rest on my bed with my two little ones snoring gently beside me,
I thought hard and long about what can we do about all of this. I looked around my house, I looked at one of my
babies who suffers from skin conditions, and I looked at my swollen red legs thinking that I had overdone it by
not putting them up enough during the day. I thought about how I could have bought the Alloveen special
shampoo for my little Charlie earlier than today so that his rash could have gotten better sooner. I had been
giving him the occasional cortisone tablet from the Vet . The Alloveen had worked wonders tonight - his rash
had subsided and he was sleeping peacefully without licking his paws a lot. I apologized profusely to him for
not buying it sooner calling myself a bad mother.
I know that I am not really, but I was so "choked up" about all the suffering going on around me just a few hours
drive away. Devastation like we have never known before. I thought to myself " now people here will know, just a little,
what the people in third world countries cop a lot of their lives, except they don't get the help that us westerners do."
They most certainly do not get the immediate aid that we do, nor the cash handouts or food drops and clean water
delivered. A lot of human suffering happens for example in Africa on a regular basis, but the world is so used to it
that the Western countries hardly bat an eyelid.
This brings me back to why I am writing this blog. What came to me this evening is this :
" The best that we can do for the world is to take care of ourselves, our famiies, our own communities
if we can, and the world we have created for ourselves."
Creating a loving, caring, and cherished environment where we live is important to our own health, happiness and
well-being. Taking care of our own patch, including our beautiful nature of course, is one thing that we can have
control over. Overwhelm can take over if we start thinking "how on earth can we help all of those people who need help."
If we have control over our own lives, this forms a sound base for our thoughts and our emotions to become stabilized.
Our energies are put to creating the world that we want to see and have for not only us, but our future generations as well.
The earth is a big planet and every square inch of her is important. Your little patch of garden is very important to mother
earth because she can feel every bit of love that you put into it. And your house too, because your home and what
energies you put into it is anchored into mother earth as well.
Every bit of tender loving care is felt by our mother earth.
So I guess the main point I am making with this blog is to share that I think as long as we take care of us, our family
including animals, and our own environment is going a long way in helping to balance the energies of earth.
We also feel that we can control something in our lives as it is not possible to change the whole world at once.
We nurture us, therefore we nurture mother earth. We nurture our gardens, therefore we nurture mother earth.
We nurture our children, therefore we nurture our future generations. We are in control of ourselves and our own
environment - what is more important than that?

I once read an article in "Body, Mind, Spirit Guide" that suggested that when we are feeling badly, we should think about three things that we were blessed with during that particular day, or in other words, count our blessings. We could also do this each night before we fall asleep. The three things that we think of can be anything from how we helped someone or how someone helped us, something good that happened during the day, or simply being grateful for having a roof over our head, a warm bed to sleep in, food in our stomach, clothing to clothe our body, transportation, etc.
Whenever I do this, I find that I have a hard time limiting my list to only three things. I end up with a long list of things that I have to be grateful for. I have learned that I am truly blessed with a lot in my life.
I have found that if I make it a practice to do this on a daily basis, it helps quite a bit. For one, it lifts my spirits, because it transforms my thinking away from the negative to the positive. Secondly, it changes my focus on what I lack to focusing on the abundance that I already have to be thankful for in my life. It makes me feel more thankful for even the seemingly "small" things in life. And lastly, it makes me realize that even if I am feeling badly, things aren't really that bad in my life. I have a lot to be happy and thankful for.
What three things do you have to be thankful for today?

Missing Our Old Habits
Enduring Discomfort
by Madisyn Taylor
Sometimes when we break a habit or addiction we
find ourselves missing it like a dear friend.
Whenever we make the effort to free ourselves of an addiction or a habit we no longer need, we are
often surprised to find ourselves missing the old pattern as we would a familiar friend.
This sounds counterintuitive, because we think we should instinctively gravitate toward that which is good
for us. And yet, it makes a lot of sense when you consider that we humans are creatures of habit.
This is why we gravitate to people and places—and patterns of behavior--that make us feel comfortable.
Therefore, many of the habits we form are not conscious and are based instead on learned behavior from
role models who were not always making the healthiest decisions.
Most addictions begin as a way of avoiding feelings that are extremely uncomfortable, so it makes sense
that stopping the addiction means, for a time, a fair amount of discomfort. The same, of course, is true of
habits that we have developed over time that we are ready to release. Just knowing that this is hard, and
having compassion for ourselves as we work through this process, can help us to stay the course when we
feel the urge to backtrack. It’s also helpful to remember that in time we will establish new, healthier patterns,
and the yearning for the old ones will disappear. Eventually, we will instinctively reach for things that are good
for us, and the longing for positive change may form the basis of a new habit.
The only way to get to this new place is to endure a time of difficulty, which is a challenge we can confidently
handle if we remember that it will lead to the change we seek in our lives. Our bodies, hearts, and minds
always need time to adjust to a new way of doing things, but they will adapt, and even become our allies,
if we remain true to our vision of a new way.
