ASHTAR
Channeled Through Janisel
My Dearest Friends.... I come to assure you that things are as they should be. There are great amounts of energy bombarding your Earth at this time and everything is being greatly accelerated. NOW is the time for 'focus'. You who are the bridges between Heaven and Earth are the 'hands and feet' of the Command, so to speak. It is through you that much of our work is done. As I said, much has been accelerated and, although we wish you to remain in a state of joy and lightheartedness, it is now time to put your 'work' in its proper perspective and concentrate on the mission at hand. We are working very diligently to gather the Lightworkers together in order to prepare the general population for what is to come.
This means that each and every one of you are needed at this time to make a commitment in your own heart as to what role you will play in this. In other words, it is time to get serious. We are not asking you to give your lives over to the Ashtar Command exclusively, for you each have many missions and sub-missions that you are here to accomplish. What we are asking, however, is that for those of you who feel your connection to us to band together, so to speak, in order to establish and implement certain 'activities' towards the goals which have been set before us. You have shown that you can do this numerous times, such as in the planting of the crystals and the activation of the grid. This was an excellent example of the Unity we wish for you to achieve, and our heartfelt thanks go to all of you who have participated in this project. Rest assured there will be other projects we will ask you to work on. For the time being, we are asking you to continue in this Unity, and stay focused on the tasks at hand.
Do not let yourselves become 'bogged down' in the mundane affairs of your day-to-day activities. We wish for those of you who are aligned with the Command and its work to use this wonderful email forum to interact with each other in manifesting this bond of Unity. You are held within the gentle hand of All That Is and encircled with the energy of Unconditional Love of such depths that your present consciousness can not truly comprehend its magnitude. We of the Command and the Spiritual Hierarchy are working most diligently to help you and all mankind reach their full potential. As a 'return energy exchange', we ask each of you to now search your hearts and decide what it is that you are capable and willing to do in partnership with us. For you see, we are truly in a partnership in which each and every one must play their part. NOW is the time to begin. NOW is the time to decide your focus.
NOW is the time to dedicate yourselves to the work at hand. We need your hands, we need your feet, we need your voice, we ask your commitment. To paraphrase the words of The Most Radiant One, spoken so long ago, "it is time to be about the Father's business". There is no longer the luxury of time to be spent in petty pursuits, bickering, judgment, or anger. Your time, which we have worked towards for eons, is at hand. Know that, even though you may not see us in your skies, we are most definitely close to you, and send you our deepest blessings and love.
Your Friend and Brother,
Ashtar

Four of Swords
While we are young, we are especially open to the currents of sudden change and new direction in life. At crucial stages of development, an individual begins to construct thoughts in a more meaningful way. In this card, inner truth, represented by the stream-accompanied by the desire to understand freedom-the raft-emerges from the watery depths of the past - the fishing swords or lines.
The raft is a metaphor for a mind newly constructed upon, the idea that budding consciousness is yet to be found. The hope for higher knowledge is seen in the distance, only partially visible. In this card, freedom and form are a graceful pair, represented by the white bird that leads the boys on their journey.
Fishing is often a relaxing activity, as is floating down a stream on a raft. As you seek to retrieve memory images from the unconscious realm in order to build your future, strive to duplicate the quiet rhythm of the river you see in this card. Do not rush your process. Imagine yourself to be a fisherman, deepening your knowledge and dropping your line into the unknown waters of life. Anticipate the big catch. This stage of mental maturation can begin at any age. It comes when we feel the urge to build a new foundation of awareness.
A time for rest or more tranquil surroundings may enhance the quality of your life. Be at peace as you enter the waters of deep change and initiation.

The basic intuitive health reading deals with understanding three different levels of cards. All cards, Ace through Ten, function elementally to reflect the severity of the plane. As previously stated, the center three cards deal with the heart. If the ‘Lower Arcana’ is present, Aces, Twos and Threes will reflect the attitude of the ego, subtle issues and the use of the subconscious whereas Fours, Fives and Sixes deal with a surrounding physical problem. Sevens, Eights, Nines and Tens identify the body in conflict, with Seven being mild and Ten being intense. The ‘Court Cards’ always reflect surrounding souls who are helping to create or affect change in the soul. There are no victims; these court cards specifically reflect friends, family and work associates who are in a person’s life to help create change. Kings and Queens represent parents and genetic traits or a boss who controls stages of the life. Princes and Princesses are friends and lovers.
Issues Affecting the Heart
The heart deals with all four elements in finite order. The emotional element of the heart is seen in Cups. The mental conflicts affecting the heart are in the Swords. Blood pressure and arterial blockage are shown in Pentacles and the Wands shows the actual condition of the heart versus physical conditioning. To help us understand exactly what is surrounding the complex heart, we will often see a ‘Major Arcana’ card. So let us review each trump card and how they depict the heart.
The Fool reflects that our basic guidance has been ignored and the ego has manifested control of many aspects of the heart.
The Magician reflects Mercury and the lack of learning, knowledge and appropriate levels of communication with proper understanding.
The High Priestess identifies that emotional issues are creating pressure.
The Empress identifies hormonal influences that are in disharmony.
The Emperor is the zodiac sign Aries and reflects issues that have not been self-realized and still lie outside conscious perception.
The Hierophant is the zodiac sign Taurus and indicates that possessions and material pressures such as career, debt obligations, unemployment, inheritance, and social status all play into the heart
.
The Lovers is the zodiac sign Gemini and in the heart area reflects an energy pattern that is off-path and divided
.
The Chariot is the zodiac sign Cancer and deals with too much fat in the blood and home pressure.
Strength is the zodiac sign Leo and for the heart area deals with self-esteem pressure and codependent issues in life
.
Hermit is the zodiac sign Virgo and reflects life patterns which are offensive to the health of the being.
The Wheel of Fortune is the planet Jupiter and specifically affects the heart through lack and the inability to manifest desired levels of existence.
Justice is the zodiac sign Libra and for the heart is one of the Major Arcana cards that identifies metabolic imbalances.
The Hanged Man is another card dealing directly with metabolism. This card attempts to identify accumulated plague in the colon and acid waste deposits at a cellular level.
Death is the zodiac sign Scorpio and represents an imminent shift in the physical being towards a denser level of heart problems
.
Temperance is the zodiac sign Sagittarius and directly points to dietary complications in the problem. These issues might involve weight issues, processed foods, and high levels of hormones and antibiotics from irreverent sources.
The Devil is the sign of Capricorn and often depicts environment conflicts in the body. Heavy metal poisoning, industrial toxins and water source conflicts, as well as allergies and respiratory vulnerability, are shown in this card.
The Tower is the planet Mars and clearly identifies an imbalance in the yin/yang symmetry where the aggressive nature overwhelms the passive ability to meditate and calm the spirit.
The Star is the zodiac sign Aquarius and points toward a “disconnected” condition of the heart in terms of spiritual guidance and the subconscious system of intuitive suggestions that change many habits in life.
The Moon and the zodiac sign Pisces shows multiple levels of interference meaning that a cumulative effect of many issues is current in the functioning of the heart.
The Sun is the Sun and always identifies the conscious position of the being. This is a very important card in any heart area reading as it clearly represents the being’s inability to understand the proper care and maintenance of the body.
Judgment is the planet Pluto and identifies the being as clearly off-path, with health issues being used as an intervention aid to slow the life down and offer a period of mediation.
The Universe is the planet Saturn and has a special place in every one of the five planes we read. This is where a health issue is karmic and normally has been created over time. This is where the soul pays for specific possession of anger, attitudes, prejudices and opinions that are clearly irreverent to the soul.
When one Major Arcana card is present, the health issue is somewhat imminent. If two Major Arcana cards show up in the same plane, the health issue is at a disease stage. If three Major Arcana cards show up, the disease is chronic and life-changing.

Hey you. Found an article on abovetopsecret.com entitled "Psychological Characteristics of Lightworkers", under the Psychology, Philosophy & Metaphysics section. The author, using pen name 4stral4pprentice, feels to have compiled enough lightworkers research to provide an "outline of lightworkers' psychological identity". Interesting. Without further adieu..
"*From early on in their life, they feel they are different. More often than not they feel isolated from others, lonely and misunderstood. They will often become individualists who will have to find their own unique ways in life. They have trouble feeling at home within traditional jobs and/or organization structures. Lightworkers are naturally anti-authoritarian which means that they naturally resist decisions or values based solely on power or hierarchy. This anti-authoritarian trait is present even if they seem timid and shy. It is connected to the very essence of their mission here on earth.
*Lightworkers feel drawn to helping people as a therapist or as a teacher. They may be psychologists, healers, teachers, nurses, etc. Even if their profession is not about helping people in a direct manner, the intent to contribute to the higher good of humanity is clearly present.
*Their vision of life is colored by a spiritual sense of how all things are related together. They consciously or subconsciously carry memories within them of non-earthly spheres of light. They may occasionally feel homesick for these spheres and feel like a stranger on earth.
*They deeply honor and respect life which often manifests as a fondness for animals and a concern for the environment. The destruction of parts of the animal and vegetable kingdoms on earth by human doing invokes deep feelings of loss and grief in them.
*They are kind-hearted, sensitive and empathic. They may have trouble dealing with aggressive behavior and they generally experience difficulties in standing up for themselves. They can be dreamy, naive or highly idealistic, as well as insufficiently grounded, i.e. down-to-earth. Because they easily pick up negative feelings and moods of people around them, it is important for them to spend time alone on a regular basis. This enables them to distinguish between their own feelings and those of others. They need solitary time to touch base with themselves and with mother earth.
*They have lived many lives on earth in which they were deeply involved with spirituality and/or religion. They were present in overwhelming numbers in the old religious orders of your past as monks, nuns, hermits, psychics, witches, shamans, priests, priestesses, etc. They were the ones providing a bridge between the visible and the invisible, between the daily context of earth life and the mysterious realms of the afterlife, realms of God and the spirits of good and evil. For fulfilling this role, they were often rejected and persecuted. Many of you were sentenced to the stake for the gifts you possessed. The traumas of persecution left deep traces within your soul’s memory. This may presently manifest as a fear of being fully grounded, i.e. a fear to be really present, because you remember being brutally attacked for who you were."

Two important pointers for me today, from Osho Zen Tarot.
28. Self-Acceptance
Self-Acceptance
Heart's-ease in the king's garden
You cannot improve upon yourself. And I am not saying that improvement does not happen, remember--but you cannot improve upon yourself. When you stop improving upon yourself, life improves you. In that relaxation, in that acceptance, life starts caressing you, life starts flowing through you. Nobody else has ever been like you and nobody else will ever be like you; you are simply unique, incomparable.
Accept this, love this, celebrate this--and in that very celebration you will start seeing the uniqueness of the others, the incomparable beauty of the others.
Love is possible only when there is a deep acceptance of oneself, the other, the world. Acceptance creates the milieu in which love grows, the soil in which love blooms.
I have heard:
A king went into his garden and found wilted and dying trees, shrubs and flowers. The oak said it was dying because it could not be tall like the pine. Turning to the pine, he found it drooping because it was unable to bear grapes like the vine. And the vine was dying because it could not blossom like the rose. He found Heart's-ease blooming and as fresh as ever. Upon inquiry, he received this reply:
"I took it for granted that when you planted me you wanted Heart's-ease. If you had desired an oak, a vine or a rose, you would have planted them. So I thought that since you put me here, I should do the best I can to be what you want. I can be nothing but what I am, and I am trying to be that to the best of my ability."
You are here because this existence needs you as you are. Otherwise somebody else would have been here!--existence would not have helped you to be here, would not have created you. You are fulfilling something very essential, something very fundamental, as you are. If God wanted a Buddha he could have produced as many Buddhas as he wanted. He produced only one Buddha--that was enough, and he was satisfied to his heart's desire, utterly satisfied. Since then he has not produced another Buddha or another Christ.
He has created you instead. Just think of the respect that the universe has given to you! You have been chosen, not Buddha, not Christ, not Krishna. You will be needed more, that's why. You fit more now. Their work is done, they contributed their fragrance to existence. Now you have to contribute your fragrance.
But the moralists, the puritans, the priests, they go on teaching you, they go on driving you crazy. They say to the rose, "Become a lotus." And they say to the lotus, "What are you doing here? You have to become something else." They drive the whole garden crazy, everything starts dying--because nobody can be anybody else, that is not possible.
That's what has happened to humanity. Everybody is pretending. Authenticity is lost, truth is lost, everybody is trying to show that he is somebody else. Just look at yourself: you are pretending to be somebody else. And you can be only yourself--there is no other way, there has never been, there is no possibility that you can be anybody else. You will remain yourself. You can enjoy it and bloom, or you can wither away if you condemn it.
20. Beyond Illusion
Beyond Illusion
This is the only distinction between the dream and the real: reality allows you to doubt, and the dream does not allow you to doubt....
To me, the capacity to doubt is one of the greatest blessings to humanity. The religions have been enemies because they have been cutting the very roots of doubt, and there is a reason why they have been doing that: because they want people to believe in certain illusions that they have been preaching....
Why have the people like Gautam Buddha been so insistent that the whole existence - except your witnessing self, except your awareness - is just ephemeral, made of the same stuff as dreams are made of? They are not saying that these trees are not there. They are not saying that these pillars are not there. Don't misunderstand because of the word "illusion".... It has been translated as illusion, but illusion is not the right word.
Illusion does not exist. Reality exists. Maya is just in between - it almost exists. As far as day-to-day activities are concerned, it can be taken as reality. Only in the ultimate sense, from the peak of your illumination, does it become unreal, illusory.
Osho The Great Zen Master Ta Hui Chapter 12
Commentary:
The butterfly in this card represents the outer, that which is constantly moving and that which is not real but an illusion. Behind the butterfly is the face of consciousness, looking inward to that which is eternal. The space between the two eyes has opened, revealing the lotus of spiritual unfoldment and the rising sun of awareness.
Through the rising of the inner sun, meditation is born. The card reminds us not to look outside for what is real, but to look within. When we focus on externals, we too often get caught up in judgments - this is good, this is bad, I want this, I don't want that. These judgments keep us trapped in our illusions, our sleepiness, our old habits and patterns.
Drop your opinionated mind and move inside. There, you can relax into your own deepest truth, where the difference between dreams and reality is already known.

My card for today. Very fitting.
8. Courage
Courage
The seed cannot know what is going to happen, the seed has never known the flower. And the seed cannot even believe that he has the potentiality to become a beautiful flower. Long is the journey, and it is always safer not to go on that journey because unknown is the path, nothing is guaranteed.
Nothing can be guaranteed. Thousand and one are the hazards of the journey, many are the pitfalls - and the seed is secure, hidden inside a hard core. But the seed tries, it makes an effort; it drops the hard shell which is its security, it starts moving. Immediately the fight starts: the struggle with the soil, with the stones, with the rocks. And the seed was very hard and the sprout will be very, very soft and dangers will be many.
There was no danger for the seed, the seed could have survived for millennia, but for the sprout many are the dangers. But the sprout starts towards the unknown, towards the sun, towards the source of light, not knowing where, not knowing why. Great is the cross to be carried, but a dream possesses the seed and the seed moves.
The same is the path for man. It is arduous. Much courage will be needed.
Osho Dang Dang Doko Dang Chapter 4
Commentary:
This card shows a small wildflower that has met the challenge of the rocks and stones in its path to emerge into the light of day. Surrounded by an aura of bright golden light, it exposes the majesty of its tiny self. Unashamed, it is equal to the brightest sun.
When we are faced with a very difficult situation we have a choice: we can either be resentful, and try to find somebody or something to blame for the hardships, or we can face the challenge and grow.
The flower shows us the way, as its passion for life leads it out of the darkness and into the light. There is no point fighting against the challenges of life, or trying to avoid or deny them. They are there, and if the seed is to become the flower we must go through them. Be courageous enough to grow into the flower you are meant to be.
In light,
Zia

I am experiencing a difficult time in my life lately. Everything is collapsing around me. It sometimes feels as if stasis has set in; not being able to move.
At the same time I am experiencing great learning and growth. I keep getting messages to trust. And peace. During the past weeks I've found 10s of old keys littering my path, and I've saved each one.
This morning I learned another valuable lesson. A lesson to that takes me closer to still the mind, to let doubt go. To accept that I don't know how the path will unfold or what is the 'plan' of the universe. To just anchor into the vastness of space and being.
I went to the Osho Zen Tarot site to pull a card for today. This is the card that was given to me:
11. Breakthrough
Breakthrough
To transform breakdowns into breakthroughs is the whole function of a master. The psychotherapist simply patches you up. That is his function. He is not there to transform you. You need a meta-psychology, the psychology of the buddhas.
It is the greatest adventure in life to go through a breakdown consciously. It is the greatest risk because there is no guarantee that the breakdown will become a breakthrough. It does become, but these things cannot be guaranteed. Your chaos is very ancient - for many, many lives you have been in chaos. It is thick and dense. It is almost a universe in itself. So when you enter into it with your small capacity, of course there is danger. But without facing this danger nobody has ever become integrated, nobody has ever become an individual, indivisible.
Zen, or meditation, is the method which will help you to go through the chaos, through the dark night of the soul, balanced, disciplined, alert. The dawn is not far away, but before you can reach the dawn, the dark night has to be passed through. And as the dawn comes closer, the night will become darker.

Today I've seen the word trust several times. I registered the pointers and looked within, and acknowledged that it is something I need to work on. Mostly, to trust myself and the universe totally, without any doubt hesitation or fear.
Then I came to the blogs and found the excellent blog by Sharon on trust.
Later, I went to the Osho Zen Tarot site and pulled a card for today. It was The Fool.
"A fool is one who goes on trusting; a fool is one who goes on trusting against all his experience. You deceive him, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you. Then you will say that he is a fool, he does not learn. His trust is tremendous; his trust is so pure that nobody can corrupt it.
Be a fool in the Taoist sense, in the Zen sense. Don´t try to create a wall of knowledge around you. Whatsoever experience comes to you, let it happen, and then go on dropping it. Go on cleaning your mind continuously; go on dying to the past so you remain in the present, herenow, as if just born, just a babe.
In the beginning it is going to be very difficult. The world will start taking advantage of you...let them. They are poor fellows. Even if you are cheated and deceived and robbed, let it happen, because that which is really yours cannot be robbed from you, that which is really yours nobody can steal from you.
And each time you don´t allow situations to corrupt you, that opportunity will become an integration inside. Your soul will become more crystallized. Osho Dang Dang Doko Dang Chapter 2
Commentary:
Moment to moment, and with every step, the Fool leaves the past behind. He carries nothing more than his purity, innocence and trust, symbolized by the white rose in his hand. The pattern on his waistcoat contains the colors of all four elements of the tarot, indicating that he is in harmony with all that surrounds him. His intuition is functioning at its peak. At this moment the Fool has the support of the universe to make this jump into the unknown. Adventures await him in the river of life.
The card indicates that if you trust your intuition right now, your feeling of the 'rightness' of things, you cannot go wrong. Your actions may appear 'foolish' to others, or even to yourself, if you try to analyze them with the rational mind. But the 'zero' place occupied by the Fool is the numberless number where trust and innocence are the guides, not skepticism and past experience."
Ok. Thank you. Message received loud and clear. Now I work on clearing my ability to trust.

Hey guys,
Had a small revelation that may or may not mean anything to you whatsoever, but figured Id share regardless. So, in case you didn't catch lovelight's blog about the triangular crop circle (guess that would make it a crop triangle...), here's a picture from it...
I had a discussion with Jyothi, a/k/a the Presence sometime ago, and we were discussing different lines in our hands. Well, there have been a couple triangles in mine for a while, and most recently, more have sprung up, but they're all connected to the main ones I started with. I didn't even think to check until I read lovelight's blog, but I'm sure glad she wrote it (thank you Courtland!). It's really hard to take a clear picture of it, I don't have the materials to make a professional hand print. But the crop triangles seemed to coincide with what is going on in my major hand, the one you use most naturally, my left. They are not perfect, but each one inside appears approximately 1/3 the size of the next biggest triangle outlining it.
Here's a shot of me outlining them....
The bottom line that connects them all is the Hepatica, also known as the health line. Some people may not have it, and it is generally better, healthwise, if this line is not present. Here's a bit of science fiction for you, this line was GLOWING last night. Not the area around it, but the actual straight line that forms the base of these triangles. I had my hands on the laptop, so I put them back on the laptop, being a skeptic, in attempt to recreate the glow. Unsuccessful. The entire hand was red, but not the actual line itself. Needless to say Im going to get a checkup, to clarify my health is decent. Again, it is very faint, but compare the picture above, to my actual hand print below to spot the triangles...
Also, there are SEVERAL other triangles that have appeared most recently. I don't check my palms everyday, but if you look a little bit below those main 3 triangles, you'll see several others that all seem connected. Such exciting times ladies and gents!!!! Being a natural puzzle piecer, I have to believe these are connected, and the crop triangle makers know what they're doing. I wonder if any of you guys have something similar as far as crop triangles in the palm. If so, the main 3 triangles (one within another, within the third) is considered a "lucky triangle" if it is comprised like mine, with two of your main lines creating 2 of the sides of the triangle, with the health line forming the base. A "lucky triangle" is said to increase one's luck significantly (this is not approved by me, yet! lol). Maybe I'm being pessimistic, being alive during these times is very lucky. And I believe our earth's shifting will be lucky as well. I do believe the triangles have a deeper significance, being related to the Fibonacci sequence, which is the basis of many life forms, such as the growth of a flower, the pattern found in a seashell, and now apparently our own palms :) Thanks for reading, hope you guys are all doing well, I think about you all the time. Peace, light and love

Well so it is...
I, few minutes ago, talked over the phone with my mother about the weather during Midsummer, as we plan to go camping as I mentioned in Monday Tarot - Change entry.
Now it seems it is those Midsummer days that a big thunderstorm is hitting Finland.
So we are not going.
What changed was we end up not going camping, ultimately better than having a flooding tent, scared dog and mother and catching what not in the cold.
Now I just have to make few changes to how to spend the Midsummers.
I was waiting for camping though, really was, hopefully the weekend after this will be nice and sunny. :)

Break is over! I have opened http://niinac.blogspot.com/p/niinas-tarot-reading-and-healing.html Free Tarot Readings again. :) With a new little line at the near top of the page.
"When it comes to payment, I give my reading for free, and remind my querent (one who asks the question) that whatever they can do, are good at, I gladly accept something as a trade, be it CDs, channellings, attunement, art, healing, love. :) "
This comes due to the few people who have send me CDs and attunements as they wanted to thank me for the readings - and as I am all for trade instead of putting monetary label on creativity and quidance I think this is a wonderful way to be in a society with each other. And also due to few emails I received from people worried if I was not receiving anything hence loosing balance. Such a valid point! As I had to eventually go on a Tarot break. There is always a great value in balance.
I find myself having more energy and time again as Summer draws closer so I wanted to open my e-mail to my querants again!
Love, Light and Joy!

What will this Week bring me?
Four of Swords - Sword represent our spiritual state and our thoughts. They reflect our attitudes, sword also tells what energies we use usually sub-consciously to make our life what it is.
Truce, Jupiter in Libra, finding one's own center, clarity, spiritual cleansing, unifying, expansion.
Four sword tips meet in perfect flower, troubles have been won. Ace of swords clarity has been regained and the blue color of divinity can be seen again. Yellow-Green color of Creativity dominates the card.
In this atmosphere the flower of Consciousness is good to grow and evolve. Jupiter represents Joy and Expansion! Even if something has felt hopeless so far, is in fact in itself holding all that is needed for a happy, positive outcome.
This card holds a warning as well, truce is not peace. On the surface things can seem peaceful, but this peace can be created by holding emotions in check. Give careful look at the possibility that there are things that can be hidden right now, to acknowledge them early can strip them off their destructive force.
You have the inner clarity now to successfully do what you plan. Make sure whatever happens always makes you feel good.

I wanted to do a reading for my Birthday Week, it seems there is much to condier, but... I think I know what this is about, and I am set and ready to do my best about it - all I can do is decide what I do and what my actions are. :) Rest of it is in other people's hands. I am at peace with myself.
Love, Light and Joy!

Dear hearts of light,
years i questioned myself how one belongs to fantasise and how one belongs to dream,
because everybody that i have get to know, doesn't matter who, did say in a certain way to me, "act normal",
when my fantasy or dream doesn't fit in the picture of that persons fantasy or dream.
Because of this i began to think about what normal behaviour is and what normal experience is and how on should experience normal,
because out of the fantasy and the dream grows experience and out of the experience you receave wisdom that
you teach your surroundings and your children and you pass that to your children what you see and find "that is normal",
while the child and someone elses vieuw is a completly different experience vieuw of what's normal.
I know that fantasising and dreaming is creating out of the fantasie and the dream and that is what Is.( All That Is )
Dear hearts fantasising and dreaming is the engine of inspiration to create what the creation does also and waht the creation truly is.
So why are we prisoning fantasys and dreams ourselfs and does that also happens by our surroundings while that
is just living hole and one with All That Is ( Creation, Source, Allah, God, Buddha, Dharma, Prana).
In loving service into infinnity,
Swen.

There are striking similarities between the Tower Tarot and the events of 911. This illustrates one more way in which 911 seems to have been an occult ritual.

Here's another reason to be glad I don't live in Romania. Leaving aside for the moment how they're defining witchcraft and how on earth a religion can be a profession, the latest wrinkle in the ongoing saga of Romanian witches is just, plain dumb. Apparently, they're equating the fortune-telling with being a witch (???). Obviously, there is a whole cultural context here about which I'm woefully ignorant. But making anyone who does psychic readings legally responsible for their accuracy is ludicrous. I don't mean that people shouldn't be held responsible for the quality of their work, I just mean that accuracy of predictions is a poor measure of the quality of a reading. I know this sets me apart from a lot of people in my field, many of whom are very invested in "accuracy." But -- and I truly tire of pointing out this various obvious fact -- if the future were unchangeable what would be the point of having a psychic reading? So you could know what was coming, good or bad, and sit passively and powerlessly until it occurs? The whole point of getting any prediction is to get a heads up on your direction and make whatever changes are necessary to avoid or minimize potential problems. In the case of positive outcomes, it is the very unusual case where all that's required of a person is that they sit on their hands and wait. There is usually some action required to manifest any potential outcome.
Tarot expert Rachel Pollack makes the point in one of her books, I can never remember which one, that from the moment a tarot spread is laid out, it's already at least a little wrong. That's because the observer of those cards now has information they didn't have before. As a result their actions will invariably change at least slightly. This is the entire point of getting any form of psychic reading. Apparently, Romanian politicians don't understand this... not that this puts them in the minority. Under Soviet rule, it was illegal to practice witchcraft or any other religion. Now to practice the craft of psychic divination means witches could go to jail for simply doing their jobs.
"Witches in Romania could receive a spell in jail or a fine if they make incorrect fortune telling predictions.
Politicians are debating a draft bill which will require witches to apply for a permit and be judged on their accuracy.
They will also be required to provide receipts for their customers and will be prevented from carrying out their work near churches and schools."

Haven't had a tarot reading in a while so I was suprised I wanted to do one this morning.
I suppose next week has a special meaning if it needs to be shouted out through cards. ;)
When you believe that the world arranges itself to accommodate you and your life with signs and synchronicity it's easy to use our newest tool of deviation - the internet - to help peek into the meaning of our current state (past and future included). That is why it was easy to use the online deck this morning (if you want to use it scroll down my blog and find it at the right hand side, around the middle of the side bar).
Before I start I should say I aimed this reading towards work. And as you read on you should be aware that this week we will as whole group of all-ages of co-workers going to go put out some fires as a part of a safety course.
~*~
The card on the middle represents imagination - the prophetic image that stems from the creative force of the previous card to initiate the project. Ten of Staves (Oppression): A final trial before an enduring reward. The greater the struggle, the greater the reward. (organization, fire department, saving lives, trial by fire, struggle to maintain life)
The card on the left represents emotion - the feelings aroused by or surrounding the ideation of the project that takes place in the previous card. Eight of Swords (Interference): Emotional disaster. Loss of a beloved person or a valued situation. A sadness that creates a new strength and resolve. (To save lives, to act, you have to feel sympathy and empathy for the people in need of help to be able to thrust yourself to act)
The card in the top represents the creative force behind the King of Swords: A man of volatile temperament. A born fighter and ruler. A person in complete command. Self-mastery. Expertise. A person who prefers action to reflection - above all, dramatic, decisive action. (In Firefighting you have to have calling, powerful temperment, call to action, strong will, resolution and andrenaline)
The card on the bottom represents thought - the analytical process of organizing the project and capturing the emotional content of the previous card. Page of Swords: A Passionate young person given to seeking out the heart of the matter, even to the point of spying. Vigilance and quiet intensity. (No need to shout out how important life is, how important it is to act right - but it is important to have that fire blazing inside you to do the Right thing)
The card on the right represents manifestation - the real work involved in completing the project, and the form it will take upon culmination. Two of Swords (Peace): Friendship, especially between student and teacher or younger and older. The adventure and excitement of childhood and adolescence. (What can I say! Who doesn't think putting out fires and saving lives is RUSH? Huh?! ;D )
All these Wands and Swords are screaming deep clear wisdom and authority to hack away opposition, both signs of ACTION.
Could have not been a clearer message. "Pay Attention, you will physically need this!"
With this in mind I believe next week will be something that will be of importance in the physical plane - everyday is in spiritual level.
Love, Light and Joy!
Niina
P.S: If you do ask question with the generator, ask without yes or no answer, hold intent of the question as it processes it and use your intuition as you read the answers, like I did above with the green italics.

Story
17 Sep 2010 - 2:41am
We drift down the river, dreaming our way forwards. Awakening slowly to the truth of our experience; in whatever way we can relate to it most truly as ourselves. This is why our comfort and expansion of being and awareness is so important; to shed the light of understanding upon the ever unfolding manifestation. This is so that we might address the hard problems of men and women. Evolution of self is a simple, yet hard response. So it is only most likely when everything is falling apart around us.
Those who have felt to be ostracized from others at some point shut-down or seek a change/evolution that would allow them a place among the people.
The separation and divide is strong and felt by many, so the will for revolution is strong.
The coming, the becoming. Revealing of truth. Death of the old, birth of the new. A chance for another golden age to dawn. An age in which light fills the darkness which has blanketed us for so long, we can’t truly remember what union is really like. We taste here and there, but we fall time and time again into the void of feeling incomplete. Always asking, “What am I missing?” Always moving forward. Happy or sad. Reveling in life, or shying away in fear. It matters not in our sense of union. We can feel anything in spite of our disconnection. But the truth of our disconnection remains. Whether it be with ourselves, another, the disconnect of our community at large, or with the divine.
Morning light should burst bright. Night fades, and we find ourselves in twilight; waiting for that damn sun to finally find its way above the horizon. How long we have waited for this! LET IT COME, we sing loud. I AM READY, we plead. WE UNDERSTAND COMMUNITY AND LOVE, we wager, but we’ve wagered wrong if we think that will let us escape what is to come.
‘Cause the tower you so desperately want to fall. It is going to. And none of us are ready for that. There is no way to prepare. It is sudden, takes you all the way down in an instant with nothing but truth. It’s amazing how certain truths bring us down so easy.
Everything you’ve ever done is not the right path. It will lead you to it, but the right path would lead us away from this tower. We only understand how to move towards it, because we asked for freedom. WE NEED FREEDOM NOW! We can wait not longer. And as the truth shall set you free, that is all that we will find. Yes, all this too has just been a stepping stone. To move from one place of understanding to one yet greater…
See, the truth is we’ve come to the point where we admit we don’t truly understand. We have learned a lot and are wise, but none of it fits as is in a way to meet the requirements of what we need to be doing. Massive apathy, confusion, and naivety have delivered us to a place in which we are powerless. Without a proper union of will, our power is nothing but a dream. We have to wake up, then and only then can we realize our dreams.
Only in our naked fearlessness will we meet our path of truth and right action with acceptance. It’s not a black and white matrix that leads us to our decision. Desperate clinging to wisdom of old and all the arcane knowledge of the world won’t make you decide one way or another. It was never about dogma. But once upon a time, what was it that dogma taught us?
These are the words of just a man, from within. But are we being called out to be more than just a single man or woman? What are we being called out to do?
In my dissolution I ask my HEART to give not a sign for the people, but a will. Does will answer me?
YES I DO. AUTOMATIC WRITING AND THE WORDS OF OTHERS WILL ONLY EVER GET YOU SO FAR CHANNELS! THE RIGHT ROAD AIN’T A ROAD AND IT IS A PATH FOR THE PATIENT. WE ALL ALREADY KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO, TIME FOR REST AND FINAL PREPARATIONS FOR A MOST NOVEL TIME! WHAT YOU ARE ALL LOOKING FOR ISN’T IN THE WORDS, IT’S IN THE HEART, SO TAKE HEART AS FULFILLMENT IS AT HAND! IT IS NOT SO MUCH MY WILL BE DONE, OR THY WILL BE DONE; SO MUCH AS JUST WILL BE DONE. I WILL LET THE CARDS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.
JUSTICE JUST IS.
TIME FOR A FOOLS GAME.
DEATH ISN’T PLAYING ANYMORE.
TEMPERANCE IS CALLING YOU OUT TO ONLY FOLLOW ORDERS THAT ALSO ARISE WITHIN YOURSELF.
THE STARS SHALL COMFORT US IN OUR DARKEST HOUR.
THE DEVIL IS ON YOUR SIDE, HE WILL ONLY EVER TELL YOU THE TRUTH, AND “HIS” SEED IN YOU IS YOUR REJECTION OF WHAT IS TRUE. HIS IS A TOUGH LOVE INDEED.
THE WHEEL MAKES A FULL REVOLUTION.
THE EMPEROR IS BESIDE HIMSELF.
THE EMPRESS WEEPS.
THE MAGICIAN SETS THE STAGE.
THE MAN HUNG UPSIDE DOWN HAS ALREADY FOUND THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN; WHEN THE WORLD FLIPS HE’LL BE BACK ON HIS FEET AGAIN.
“I WAS NEVER ALONE” SAYS THE HERMIT COMING FROM HIS CAVE.
THE POPE DIES.
THE POPESS REVEALS HERSELF, NOT A SCANDAL!
THE TOWER IS FALLING SAID CHICKEN LITTLE! BUT YOU’VE CRIED WOLF SAYS THE PEOPLE!
THE LOVERS FINALLY COME TO UNDERSTAND UNION.
THE SEED OF THE CHARIOT SPROUTS.
FORCES AT WORK AS ALWAYS, FINISH YOUR CURRENT AFFAIRS, THEN REST FOR YOUR HEALTH.
THE BRILLIANT MOON HAS REFLECTED A LIGHT OF LOVE WHENEVER IT COULD DURING OUR LONG NIGHT. AND SO LUNAR HAS CARRIED US FAR AND THROUGH THE NIGHT, BUT IT IS NOW TWILIGHT…
FOR THE SUN COMETH, BEARING JUDGMENT AND THE WORLD ON A WHITE HORSE.
Time to let it all go, because the love that is true will always remain. Thank you for reading, I hope I had something new to say.

There are many ways to define the same thing and depending on where you are coming from, the light that reflects upon the situation will make the same thing look drastically different. Understanding this is one of the most important principles the learning experience called life can give to you. If we cannot respect the fact that each person goes through their journey individually then we must at least agree to keep our judgments to ourselves and allow future generations to see the world through their own eyes.
New Age Spirituality tells us that judgments do not serve man; it only prevents the unity needed to achieve amazing things. By focusing on differences instead of similarities we prove the ignorance of the self and intern separate each one of us from the foundation of civilization, grouping ourselves to accomplish greater tasks and thus encourage a higher rate of human survival.
Now that we are no longer are in need of protecting ourselves from the beast of this planet and we do not needed to hunt for our own food anymore, it seems that there is no need for unity. When in fact there is a great need for unity of all people. When we come together and open our hearts and minds (not to accept others values as our own) but to hold a new respect; that a person holds their values close to their hearts in the same way that you do. Then we can break bread together and unity shall begin, and intern humanity will see a great reduction in conflict and a serious jump in technological, philosophical and social advancement.

33:33 #5 – An open tarot Spread
Email not displaying correctly? View it in your browser.
HI everyone, May the lights be in your skies always.
First up. A change in day for delivering the articles. Wednesday, which has always been a day supportive of the work that I do. So from now on, all 33:33 articles go out Wed morning, Singapore timeline.
Secondly, this week’s article is more of a short Tarot reading for consideration. It’s going to be generalized, quick and open to interpretation. Perhaps, its a reading more for my own reflections but you’re welcome to partake.
As my approach to 33:33 evolves, there is going to be more ways I’ll try to deliver something new and perhaps experimental.
The question on my mind was “what should we discuss tonight?” with an idea of connecting it with being prepared, on a spiritual level for so much things that are changing in this reality we share.
The opening of tonight’s spread (Using only the Thoth Deck) reveals both oppression and disappointment. On how we can overcome this, I pulled out an ace of swords. Based on these first three cards, I shall enter the discussion.
Oppression here, to me, is the affect of not being able to express or do what is desired. There is will, there is a drive to move forward but the prison like bars is holding everything back. It is restricting progress. It is a frustrating process.
I personally feel that on an astrological level, the grand cross has our reality in it’s sights and is surging out energies of change, support, Divine energy up-scaling and upgrading of our systems, reactions, choices and visions.
It’s taking stock time for plenty of planetary beings and so the ‘oppression’ here, and the ‘disappointment’ could be reactions towards a much needed time for contemplation and inner work. Perhaps, the conditions for change are moving into position and it isn’t entirely the right time to be charging ahead.
We stop now, to consider how our lives are changing’s and to consider what kind of changes we want in our lives. This would lead to the ‘new ideas’ expressed in the ace of swords.
Try to recognize what the ‘stoppage’ is. I picked out another card to ask ‘what is causing the stoppage’ and received the Tower card.
So here it is, in association with the ace, the tearing down of ideas no longer useful in the turning of the ages to make way for fresh, enlightening ideas. The old ideas may be prisons in itself, restricting our own growth. We should evolve, find new ways, break out of safety zones, discover new ways to explore the spirit.
I asked ‘what would happen after the tower’ and opened up….
disappointment (5 of cups) again and The Aeon (Last Judgment) but disappointment in what?
The Prince of Disks provides possible insights.
These ideas that the tower tears down may thus be related to the ‘work’ that we’re doing. It could mean our careers or our own spiritual work.
We may be disappointed once we’ve come to a realization; that whatever we’ve been building up may not be so relevant anymore, that we may have lost sight of the bigger vision of our lives.
And this pushes us to make a massive decision on where we should be turning to next.
(And so where do we turn to next?) drawn: (Princess of cups)
To enter the next spiritual stream without fighting against the current. If there’s too much resistance, we may not be on the right path.
Choose the path of least resistance, listen to what your heart is saying to you. If it isn’t flowing as smooth as it should, go deep within and find out why.
Find the next spiritual rapture.
Strive to be moving with the tides Also, be consistently striving to mature in your emotional life, to develop a strong ability to remain centered in the torrential storm.
If nothing is happening for you, don’t push it. Let it take its course.
You could be internally renovating, new energies coming into your system may not have adjusted and tuned with your own energy system.
Stay grounded, stay as centered as possible during the emotional turmoil.
Trust that you’ll be shown the signs. And most of all.
Stay calm and carry on.
Thanks for your time and attention.

ALL TAROT SPECIAL
HI. This is issue #2 of 33:33. May the Light be with you always.
We are coordinating with the universe here, keeping our eyes and minds peeled to the heart of the signs. The communication is ongoing though our engagement in the discussion may take breaks, sometimes abandoned altogether. Life is in constant interaction, no matter how still we can be. Not that stillness is not a virtue, it is. What this ‘dance with the cosmos’ means is that we’re not dead, though some of us can be ‘not so alive.’
The cards are static, its images are still though it’s spirit, like our imagination is in constant flux, ebb and pull and push and explosive. The cards come alive in our minds, moving according to its intended meaning, symbolism, weighted, advanced and enhanced by our experience and perceptions.
We pool our scenarios, challenges, uncertainties, affirmations, and so forth around the selected image. Then we give it intention, a notion, an idea, an onslaught of depth worship and understanding so that we can see as well as believe.
The higher mind is geared up and seeks to penetrate the mystery, to find answers, to reveal like a sleight of hand, the hidden gem, the shadowy cause, the elected truth that can sail us on our way out of troubled waters.
The Keys of the Tarot may crudely but surely imply an opening of the locks, the outpouring of information through the door of consciousness. It’s energy surges forth. We identify, react and engage. We KNOW these images. They’re collective, inherited, a formula encrypted in our DNA. The cards are consciousness, cosmic and unending, talking to our consciousness, speaking for itself, to itself. They are there in our lives just as we are in theirs. There’s a kind of unity here that may smack of oneness. Something inseparable and whole though appearing random and fragmented. Isn’t like that in general? This accused ‘illusion of separation’?
It’s all one picture it seems, no matter how many pictures there are.
ARTHURIAN TAROT – SWORD MAIDEN
Our silver lighted mind is sheaved in a scabbard of intricate designs. The maiden could be one who seduces, who eroticizes, who weaves the designs. Is this a distraction? Could the pretty things in this world’s temporary parade be hiding or even dulling the gleaming shine of a consciousness filled with light?
We are all always learning to use our minds. It can harm, it can sever what does not belong, it can be a righteous tool or a damning one. It can create safety or instill fear. However we wish to use it, it is our choice.
The maiden is a student, not yet a mother ready with shaping another child, not yet a wizened old woman, potent and experienced, discerning and frightening all at once. Ready to strike a deathblow to that which is irrelevant. Brutal and destructive, in creative, tough love ways. The maiden is still young, as some of us are, in our hearts and minds. We may still miss the sword for the scabbard, caught up in the pretty things.
But we will get there. Some of us are already there, but everyone is still striving forth, sharpening our minds, using it for what its worth. It is ours to wield, this sword of ours, this strength, this power called consciousness. We are responsible for it’s use.
To knight a man or behead him. That too is our choice.
EXPERIMENTAL TAROT – SHAMAN – 9 – WILL – A – SIGN OF MERCURY AND INFINITY.
Nine laser red rays shoot out the Third eye of the silver bodied masculine android. The nine rays may allude to the nine gifts of the spirit, distributing the nine powers of Wisdom, knowledge and discernment. Faith, healing and miracle working. Prophecy, speaking in tongues and the interpretation of tongues.
These also, are gifts of the Shaman. Not everyone gets all gifts. They receive according to their own needs and missions. The robot here is the light-worker, the magician, the healer. Governed by the WILL, transmitting energy fluidly and effectively via Mercury.
Learning is its foundation, as seen by the manuscripts before the figure. There should be a need for understanding the background, to be theoretically armed and executed through practical applications, of anything one chooses to do as a profession, a calling, a job. To know it, intimately, then to add to it, to evolve.
That is the nature of the butterfly and flower symbols. Of evolution (from the caterpillar through the cocoon to the flight of the butterfly) and (from seed, to flower) Both symbols resting on a red table, promoting passion, energy and fire.
The android is pleased to be what it is, as we should be pleased with who we are and how we should be growing. This cycle of birth, growth, maturity, ageing and death is one of infinity. It goes ever onwards, ever spiraling higher till the long journey is complete, till we have returned to the point of the nine rays, the third eye, the three, trinity of God-head; The Crown, The Wisdom and The Understanding, formed above the abyss of duality, where there is unity and the Allness.
We are our own shaman guides, the mediator between man (our lower selves) and Spirit (Higher self, the Only Self.) We can be the bridge to our own wholeness. Just take control. Learn. Evolve. Open up our crowns (our royalty) and our hearts (The Love Force)
Align our WILL to the WILL of the universe which is the will-to-good and we shall be ushered, surely, to the All Light of The Gods.
LEGACY OF THE DIVINE TAROT – KING OF SWORDS
(A Take on The Futurism)
It seems the Sword Maiden has now taken form of The King in future time. Silver wings of the mind expanded, hands firmly gripped on the sword of the four directions (cross symbolism of the downward facing sword) the four directions equating to the four elements. Mastery over fire, water, air and earth. Mastery over Will, Emotions, Mind and Material Life. This may be the goal, of this earth plane. Mastery over the self and the elements of life.
The king is heightened upon clouds, winged like an angel, our angelic self in full expression. The upward triangle is the sign of air, also a direction of scaling the heights, ‘heading up’ points to Heaven. A line dissects the triangle, separating the upper and the lower natures though both existing in one triangle. The mystery and the message repeat itself here. Royalty revisits our poor state. We are kings again, of authority and power over the reality we wish to create.
Lightning streaks in his blue cloak, a sign of raw energy moving through spirituality, charging up that which conceals us, our flesh, our clothes. The lightning is one that moves through us and within us, just as it says that prayer and mantras is lightning in reverse. From the earth to the heavens, we send our signal to manifest and the power comes down upon us again, manifested. We are empowered to believe and belief strikes first from the mind into the heart and into existence. We channel the power down, through us, into our earthly plane (Remember how the magician stands). Here we make the miracles happen, the magic of everyday life, once we have regained our right to be Kings over our own minds.
‘The ALL is mind, The Universe is Mental.’ This is the first Hermetic principle.
HAINDL TAROT –MIXED HAPPINESS – FOUR OF CUPS
(The Eyes sees, the Eye penetrates, What does it see?)
Cups collide above land and sea. On the left are leaves in full expression, on the right, only dry twigs, stripped of life. The larger leaves seem crisp and dried, where has the freshness gone? Perhaps that is why there’s mixed happiness.
Not everything is rosy. Not everything is smooth (see how textured the whole scene is, how rough.) The difficult times are here. Full blown, lingering, post-mortem. It had come, it stays, had just left. Doesn’t matter. It leaves some kind of situation, a taste stuck on our tongues. So what do we focus on? What we can still do, or what we have been stopped from doing? What we have lost or what we still have? Are we on the side of life or death?
As for the cups, we pour water into an ocean, an almost pointless task, while we also pour water onto the dry land, surely, something must come of it. SO why don’t we pour all four cups unto the land? To fertilize it, to give it life?
Watch how we may be pursuing the pointless things. Are we wasting our creative energy (water energy)? In another word, this means not investing emotions into things that have no life anymore. A toxic relationship, an old way of life, an unsuitable career. Whatever is holding us back or keeping us down. Nurture what is meaningful.
Spend our emotions wisely, then the mixed shall be turned into full happiness.
ESOTERIC ANCIENT TAROT -42-TENDERNESS
How battle hardened we can become in such a world, that we forget the tenderness of a soft breeze, of the motion of tall grasses, of our own fragile soul.
We live in noise and harshness, rush forward, amassing our fortunes, watching crime and war on TV while eating popcorn. Desensitization is our disease. We are angry angels.
Tenderness has an energy that is motherly and nurturing, gentle in its own powerful way. In the last bleeding throes, It is tenderness a dying soldier wants. Not a return fire. Not revenge. But of caring voice that says, “It’s Alright, It’s OK. You’re going home now…”
There is a tenderness in silence. In the quietude of sitting by a lake or of staring up at the stars, in the dark of our own room, we can choose to be vast and centered, expansive like the galaxy. Here we can take care of our sensitive spirits. Spirit is gentle. Spirit is tender.
Do we show tenderness to those around us? Especially children? Are we concerned enough for one another? Especially the sick and the sad? Are we even taking out our anger at our pets? Just because they love us not matter what?
To serve with gentility, to understand that beneath any grim and hard surface, hidden behind that unbreakable façade is a being waiting to be cared for, waiting to be loved, softens the blows of a difficult life. It’s a gentle strength like that of the strength card where the woman calmly soothes the savage beast. So too can we soothe this violent world, when we show a little more care and tenderness.
ROBIN WOOD TAROT – 6 OF CUPS
The third card in a series of cups sequences speaks to us about giving and compassion, as if to reinforce the nature of tenderness, as if to balance out the cold steel of the mind, the fire heat of the will.
What do we give to others? How do we give?
The flower is symbolic of spiritual unfolding and it is in the spirit of giving and of sharing, that the soul unfolds. Our own growth is food for another’s maturity. How we grow, the methods we use, the paths we have followed, the lessons we have learnt, should be shared with those who are willing to receive.
We can’t do this alone.
The gift of Sophia, of Wisdom is for all. Spirit is for everyone, the boundless light will serve us, those after us, till the end that does not come. We cannot keep it. We cannot lock it up in our drawers. The more we aim to reserve spirit for ourselves, the more elusive it can get.
Give and it shall keep coming unto you.
The sun rises and shines on all. The flower may be small the bush, inarticulate, but all deserves the sun’s life giving rays. Someone may be ‘small’ perhaps in mind or spirit, but that doesn’t mean he or she cannot grow. We can help one another to grow, by providing whatever it is we can provide.
Spread a little more love and knowledge. Use your gifts in the service of others. Share your stories and your faults, your strengths and your weaknesses. Let it out of you so that more can come in.
Giving and receiving is like breathing. Naturally in, naturally out, natural all around.
Thanks for your time and attention.

Hi everyone and thank you for reading!
May the Light be with you always.
Welcome. This is the first ‘issue’ of 33:33 where I contemplate 6 ‘cards of cosmic consciousness.’ I chose 6 because primarily it’s the number of harmony. It resonates as Tiphareth (Beauty) on the Qaballah Tree of Life and is the realm of The Christ, Solar Consciousness and The Sun.
The ‘mission’ of 33:33 is not about prediction. It’s about considering the essence, message or any kind of ‘sign’ that might show up as I randomly pick 6 cards from 6 different decks. Of course, please have a look at the cards themselves and gain from it whatever your intuition guides you to perceive. This is only my interpretation of the powers or aspects of cosmic consciousness that can be integrated and used to influence, affect and inspire our daily lives. You might hear a completely different message just by looking at the images and this is of course encouraged. Use what resonates and works with you.
Listen to your inner wisdom and it will tell you exactly what you need.
I hope to learn much from working on these cards as much as I hope you may learn something from them too.
Personally, I see these cards as wise reminders of the various attitudes, states of awareness and action steps we must take on or avoid in order to evolve and grow as spiritual beings.
I find that Intellectually perceiving these cards are not enough. We should also feel them, letting them work on both heart and mind.
By engaging in their respective energies, I feel that we are being lent these powers or somehow, activated, to take the steps we need to co-create our realities. We should create with feeling and the archetypes in these images are gateways to those feelings. Ultimately, we have to choose what we want to do with these inspirations and participate once we’ve been activated.
Once again, thank you for joining me and may your journeys be fruitful, blessed and shining like a campfire in the dark.

MAEVE - CYCLES & RHYTHMS
“Honor the cycles of your body, energy levels, and emotions.”
She knows which points on the earth to awaken, as you know which points in your life to redeem.
Have you been repeating your mistakes? Doing the same harmful thing to yourself or one another, again and again?
It is time to break the cycle. To touch your error and say, “you shall be an error no more.”
Then walk away from it, believing in your new cycle of life, and starting on a new level (never at the same old point.)
You shall evolve.
Let the white and Violet flame burn away the old you. Let it burn from the ground up, just as you reach one level to the next. Immerse yourself in it. Let it transform you.
The violet fame is from Saint Germain. The white flame of ascension is from Serapis Bey. Both spiritual masters. Both helping us rise to new levels of consciousness.
Dance according to the movement of the tide. Why swim against the current of things? Everything has its rhythm.
Work with it, play with it, sync with it and you will be aligned. There is no other soundtrack except the one you make your own.
Don’t be afraid to live according the beat of your own drum. Be original. Stay true to yourself and your cycles of growth. There is no point in rushing things.
Take the time to listen to the rhythm of your heart and the sanctions of your soul.
Heaven has given you to yourself. Don’t lose it to someone else’s ideals. Create your own reality.
From Doreen Virtue’s Ascended Masters Oracle Cards
WHITE TARA – PURIFICATION
The soul is a delicate thing, like a stem of a flower. It needs fresh clean water to bloom openly and splendidly. So does your spirit.
The water of purity is all around us though we do not see it.
We are like fishes in a sea that does not realize it is swimming in the sea. So are we immersed in the great life force of power and pure energy.
But how do we use this life force? How do we live our life? The force can be animated in any way we like. Are we making it move within us with the right intentions? Are we occupying our minds with the rightful kind of energy or are we burdened with dark, troubling thoughts? Is there light in our hearts or only the weight of resentments and anger?
Take a deep breath.
Then blow out anything that may be upsetting you. Release the heartaches, the troubling energies, the burden of your world.
Breathe in strength again, breathe in the pure light from above, the blessed air powered by the Sun.
Blow out again everything that is disturbing you, making you hurt, causing you pain.
Let it all go.
Have a bath. Shower away your bad thoughts, your sour feelings. Imagine them draining away into the black hole.
Be clean, both in body and mind and Spirit. Wash ALL your negative filth away and your soul will be refreshed. It just takes a little imagination to wash away the ‘dirt’ in your life.
Bless your water and drink from the cup of cleansing. Let it flow within your body, energizing and cleaning away all that is unclean for you. Let it drown out your old habits, your negative thinking, your worrisome and unhealthy ideas, your old, irrelevant self.
Go to the restroom then flush it all away!
Out of your system, out of your heart, out of your life. You may imagine a white cleansing light filling you up, dispelling the dark fog.
Breathe in the Light. Breathe out the darkness.
Connect always to the pure ocean of light and you shall glow gleaming and glorious as an immortal flower.
From the ZEN OSHO TAROT deck by OSHO.
PLAYFULNESS
As the joker once said, “Why so serious?” Throw your head back and open your arms to the playfulness of the universe.
Watch the way the kittens play with their mother. See how the dolphins leap out of the ocean. Observe the way monkeys chase each other through the trees. The whole of nature understands playfulness. It is we humans who sometimes forget it.
Go ahead. Have fun. Spread a little joy around.
Playfulness is also a way of letting go.
Through play, we spend our energies in a positive, uplifting and even infectious way. We may even make others watch and smile and even join in on the expression.
Do you not smile when you watch children squealing with joy dashing around a playground? By being playful we are not being childish. In fact, we are simply allowing our inner child to come out into the sunshine.
Paint and draw without restrictions , play some board-games, play catching, ride a roller coaster, go on a water slide, do ANYTHING that you deem fun.
Youthfulness of heart and soul can be made manifest this way. Don’t we all wish to be young at heart sometimes? To feel the power of youth again?
Then give yourself permission to enjoy your life in a heartfelt way.
Our innocence may not all be lost if we allow a little more play into our lives.
From the THOTH TAROT by Aleister Crowley
6 OF CUPS – PLEASURE
The cups are illuminated, its flow, smooth and uninterrupted. The waves rise and fall like a ballet, everything is expressed like a fine tuned choir singing an uplifting song. That is the feeling of pleasure in the heart.
Find the pleasure in everything that you do because harmony comes from a joyful and pleased heart. It shall sing whenever it is engaged in something that is meaningful to you.
Then you will know it has hit its mark and found its home.
It is true that sometimes, we must do things that are not pleasurable, but the bigger picture, the vision on the horizon has to have that pleasing and well meaning end. If it does not, then find it. The heart knows the way. I do not mean pleasure here in an overly sensual and depthless gratification of enjoyment, but a stable satisfaction that stems from a deep and restful happiness. To KNOW, deep inside, that it is right and it is well.
To FEEL that the outcome has made life a little more meaningful and fulfilling.
That is the pleasure to keep and to cherish.
From Doreen Virtue’s Messages from the Angels deck.
CRYSTAL
“Have Faith and Hope, because there is something positive and new on the horizon that you can’t see yet.”
The Angel touches her heart in a field of flowers, as if to say, “thank you” or “You have touched my heart.” She speaks to the universe, for she knows that the universe always provides, that it’s will – to – good shall make things right even when they seem wrong.
Trust, that the universe is taking care of you.
We may not understand why something ‘bad’ may have happened to us, nor can we see what’s on the curved road ahead. What we can do is believe. Believe that the same sculptor that brings such beauty to a field of red flowers is the very same sculptor that can shape our lives. If we allow it.
Believe that the power of our rising sun, with its energetic and powerful light bringing life to the world is the same power that lends us strength in times of conflict. If we ask for it.
Look up to the stars at night and take a deep breath. See how vast it is, how eternal. See how the moon waxes and wanes, shining in its full moon glory. See the might of the sea or the stillness of a lake. See all of this and know that the force behind such beauty is the same force we can rely on when we have faith and hope. Believe, and it will become real. Ask, and be open to receiving. Put your trust in the universe, and the universe will take care of the rest.
From Diana Cooper’s Atlantis cards
Sound & Music “Keep everything in Harmony.”
Sound is energy and music is a mood enhancing tool. It takes you up, it takes you down, it takes you on journeys.
Music is frequency and vibration, with its highs, middles and lows. Change the music, change the frequency, change the mood, change your state of vibration.
So choose the mood you wish to be in. Choose the frequency you wish to BE and vibrate at that level.
Music is everywhere, in nature and in culture.
Some can damage us, some can enlighten us. In the end, it is how you FEEL that matters. The heart cannot go wrong with this matter. Let it lift you up or even take you down if that is what you need to keep moving.
Music should leave us whole and complete in one way or the other. Everyone has their own taste, their own style. Find the one that MOVES you, for movement is part of existence.
Music may move you within, guiding and swerving your emotions into new profound territories. Or it can move you without, connecting you back to the tribal times of dancing and expression, of physical movement that releases energy and emotion in creative and spiritual ways.
Music is about expression and giving yourself the permission to express, to let go, to release.
Music is cathartic and energizing. It is the maiden of memory and inspiration.
Use music to harmonize yourself to the universe. Dance with the rhythm of existence and let your soul sing the song of spirit.
Thanks for your time and attention.

Here I stand in the center of the universe. My universe in which I am the creator of and the creation, there is no one as important as me in this Universe. I realize that because I AM in the center of my universe I am in a position of ultimate power. I am the master of my Universe and I can control anything that goes on with-in that Universe. I live with-in this universe, and I mold this universe because I live in the center of this universe which is located in the metaphysical center of me. Truth be told the metaphysical sense of me is truly who I AM and so are you.
You are the Universe; your Universe is in a great place of power and love.
I do not think there are words sufficient enough to explain these truths because there is only ONE way to find this out and that is through YOU. That is not negotiable although the methods will be as unique and personal as the individual.
I was able to gain access to this wonderful world of Metaphysical knowledge when I accepted responsibility for everything that has ever happened to me and I accepted that it was my fault entirely. I do not blame anyone for my F-ups I have and always have had the choice of living the life I wanted. I then choose to look fear in the face and try to understand the unknown. This was the thought behind the subtitle for my book “15 Days to a beautiful life - Understanding God”. I have no Idea how to describe what I am seeing as truth and I feel like I am seeing above things at times with lack of language to express it. I can just tell you taht the answers are right there for you inside your true self.
It is becoming undeniable that the metaphysical is becoming a real force in this world and I have watched many ancient theologies warm up to this idea, which is wonderful. As long as there are people like you and me who put the fact with feelings and look inside, we will always be amazingly blessed. When we look with-in we magically have a mutual understanding of free will and individual preference because we will know the truth and purpose of choice. Besides those that do not observe this truth will not be part of a masters Universe and are not a vibration match. This is the Universal Law which is set by the hand of those who observe it and is as powerful as your Universe wishes it to be.

I am sure someone has asked you this question many times; although depending on your age the phrasing may be different. The most common form of this question is “What do you do for a living?” I am going to assume that 99.99% of the time this refers to work or your job in some way. Most people relate who they are with what they do. This subconscious hick-up can cause a ton of unnecessary negative emotion and even worse “Writers Block”.
Truth be told, even the most glamorous job cannot define you. You are way more magnificent than that. If you are a musician, artist or writer your work may be a reflection of which you are as a person but it is you the creator who breathes life into the creations in which you create. You are unique and anything that more than one person calls them self cannot represent you ij your entirety. I am a writer, a dad and a husband no one thing describes me although I am proud to be all of them.
There are over 6 billion beautiful people that are each truly unique, no two are exactly alike. Your body is your temple and it holds the most beautiful, loving and extraordinary amazing creature inside of it; Your Spirit.
The spirit that is inside of you is the truth, your truth. The only truth you shall ever have. I say to my readers almost every essay, blog, speech or book I create. To look inside, they ask me why?
Your spirit will answer all the questions you have and I can assure you that the answer will be as unique as the faces that represent the journey to get them. Man has got into a great deal of trouble by telling others how to live and what to believe in. The obsession to be right is something that has taken many men to the point of insanity and all for not because each person’s path is unique and their interaction with the path they are on.
Many people pick up self help books like mine and hope that the book is a user manual to their souls but that would serve no purpose to you. I choose to put the power in your hands, I write to point out that there is beautiful and loving magic inside of you that is always at your disposal and is as abundant as infinity. This journey is deeply personal because we all do not all think the same exact thoughts. Your path is either littered with negative thoughts, hate and intolerance. Or your path is pure of all impurities which are one of many symptoms of the positive thoughts you think, and positive affirmations you say.
That being said, this all comes back to loving yourself. Desiring what you want is the easy part. The belief that you can do it and feel that you are worthy enough to have it is another. This is where you find the state of being needed to succeed and it also provides you with the endurance to make positive thinking an effective Life style choice. If you cannot find love for in yourself, you will not find that love in yourself. That love is your truth and is your spirit and it has always been there waiting for you to stop star gazing and look inside.
Try Loving yourself and Love whatever it is that makes you, YOU!
Then figure out what you believe and start looking for the magic in your life. You will be surprised in what you find and how amazing you truly are.
No matter what your theology it serves you no purpose to doubt yourself; so pay attention to that gut instinct, respect each other’s path, and put your faith in yourself where it belongs.

~~The Fool~~
The Fool's journey is an analogy for our own journey through life and spirit. He is the unexpected quiet hero and his quest is one of purpose. He is the pilgrim, ultimately trying to find meaning for his life. He is on the path of self-development and spiritual enlightenment. He represents the chaos before order, our impulsiveness before rational thinking, and innocence before experience. The Fool represents the childlike spirit within everyone.
The Fool is the only card in the deck that is, essentially, numberless. The Fool can appear at both the beginning or the ending of a life cycle. Therefore, he does not need to be assigned a number. He is the child embarking on a new journey. Significantly The Fool can be the first card of the Major Arcana or the last. Moreover, he can also appear in any major life transitions. The fact that he is numberless serves an important purpose. He can show up at any point in one's journey. He is omnipresent with an important message "follow your heart and stay true to who you are".
In a tarot reading
The Fool can suggest a new beginning or ending of a phase of life. In some cases there may be an unexpected influence that can change the direction of the your life path. Often you may find yourself faced with an important decision that can have profound results. Depending on which cards surround The Fool, a warning or change of direction may be warranted. Although The Fool can be the free thinker and creative dreamer, he may also be reckless and irresponsible. The nature and meaning of The Fool card is often more clearly determined by the other cards flanking it within the reading.
Upright Fool Tarot Card Meanings in a tarot Reading
In its upright position The Fool represents the journey into the unfamiliar. An unexpected opportunity may arise or a life changing decision might have to be made. There may be a new relationship on the horizon or a new, unconventional person may be entering your life. The Fool suggests that you may also need a change of perspective, one that is more true to your heart. This perspective may require you to find a more child-like approach to a new situation or utilize more flexible, innovative thinking. This may be a creative time for you and you can expect some uncertainty. In a Tarot reading, The Fool also indicates a period of doubt. This is a time to take a leap of faith. Occasionally, The Fool may indicate an upcoming trip or travel of some kind.

~~The Sun~~
Traditionally, the Sun’s Tarot meaning represents success and achievement. Often, the Sun relays messages of positive news such as births, financial successes, marriages, stability, completion of projects and an overall happiness. Because the Sun represents a new light, it alludes to the fact that one’s path may have endured dark periods. This is a time to rejoice and celebrate. A cycle in life has been completed. One may once again view the world from a new perspective.
The Sun card is the representation of psychic unity. The conscious and unconscious have reached a level of harmony. They have come to recognize and accept each other. Although there is a new sense of wholeness, the psyche has not fully integrated its two parts. The two halves of the psyche are depicted as children, because there still needs to be one final act of development. Before the last step can be achieved, however, all struggle between old and new perspectives must be transcended. The new identity that has been reborn is not quite ready to endure the full power of the sun’s strength.
In terms of the soul’s journey, the seeker has traveled the path lit by the forbidding moon. At last, the sun has risen and trepidation has been replaced with hope. The seeker has experienced the death of his old self. His new life emerges from the nurturing properties of the sun, and he can, once again, perceive the world from a childlike perspective.
The Sun’s correlating number is nineteen. When added together, the sum is ten. Ten symbolizes union and attainment. Like the Wheel of Fortune, the Sun has the protecting qualities of the mystical circle, the mandala. Its center represents divine sprit and wholeness. The Sun Tarot card represents a childlike intelligence enhanced with a new confidence. The Sun refers to the spontaneous knowledge that arises from a childlike perspective. This is an element of inherent intuition, the type of intuition that provides us with a sense of knowing without physical evidence. Like children, there is purity to one’s intentions. In a Tarot reading, The Sun depicts a level of naivety or innocence. Issues of doubt and negativity are cast aside. One can find the world as a place of endless possibility.
The negative aspect to the Sun Tarot card is represented by those in constant pursuit of the pleasures of physical bliss. These are individuals that remain fixed in attaining things that provide bodily satisfaction. They can be thoughtless and cruel.
Upright Sun Tarot Card Meanings In A Tarot Reading
In its upright position, the Sun's Tarot card meanings refer to periods of hope and happiness. Success will be attained. Projects or endeavors will reach completion. This is a time of celebration. You may find time spent with family and friends to be emotionally gratifying. You will feel healthy and free and may experience a change of perspective. Optimism replaces negativity. New possibilities are in the near future. In a Tarot reading, the Sun indicates the importance of solving your problems with rational and conscientious thinking. This is also a time to utilize your creative energies. Friendships and romantic relationship will prosper. There may be travel to a warm and sunny place.

~~Justice~~
Justice stands for balance and equality. Justice represents the influence of our inner self and our conscience. Justice (depicted as female) symbolizes a mature sense of self. She has found her place amongst her fellows. She is dependable, worldly, and has reached a level of prosperity and status. Yet, she still struggles with a feeling that all is not as it should be. This has to do with fact that although she has mainly served her ego and conscious mind, she has lost touch with the yearnings of her unconscious. She must, once again, strike a balance between the two.
When Justice appears in a tarot spread, it informs you that the journey you are on may have to take an entirely new direction in order for justice to be served. With the repression of unconscious desires, one may find that their conscious mind either becomes consumed with things from younger age or there may be a deep depression that has slowly settled in. This is what some refer to as a mid-life crisis. In a tarot reading, Justice signifies the time to change one’s perspective. There is a need to accept the second part of one’s life. It is a journey into the realm of the inner self and requires a shift of focus away from the outer aspects of worldly interests.
Justice acknowledges the need for a moral inventory. Things must be put back into balance, regardless of the consequences. Although there is a basic unfairness and lack of balance in the ordinary order of things, the true imbalance lies within the self and not in outer, worldly realities. When we strive to meet the destinies of our journeys, we must find the strength to abide by the principles of the universe. These principles are the laws which govern us. They must be learned and we must comply. This must be done to avoid serious consequences.
The corresponding number for Justice is eleven. Eleven is the number of insight, idealism, wisdom and compassion. It embodies the universal laws of our world. With this in mind, it is important to acknowledge that Justice’s sword is double edged. One aspect represents law and order and the other aspect represents mercy and consideration. We must assimilate each side of the sword in order to reach enlightenment.
The negative aspect to Justice is when the laws which govern us are misused or applied with too much rigidity. Much of the injustice of the world today has its roots in human failings. The scales of equality are tipped and the virtue of mercy is lost and forgotten.
Upright Justice Tarot Card Meanings In A Tarot Reading
When the Justice tarot card appears upright in your online tarot reading, it usually is a good indicator that there is a decision that must be made in order for your life to take a new direction. This decision typically requires a great deal of consideration and contemplation. This is a milestone, often influencing the course of your fate. Its tarot card meanings usually refer to the need to take the time to restructure your life according to moral principles. It would be in your best interest to explore other points of view. There may be issues of justice and fairness. You may have to become accountable for your choices. Should you have acted in an unfair matter, it may come back to haunt you. At times, the Justice card can indicate the onset of legal issues. Things should proceed with fairness and integrity. The outcome should be positive. You may receive help from an outside party that can tip the legal matter in your favor.

Heaven and Earth Spread
This spread is unusual in that the Major and Minor Arcana are used separately, which seems to have been the method of tarot divination before Etteilla (late 18th cent.) suggested mixing the two in the "Great Pack" . Each deck is separately shuffled and cut, after which they are laid face down in order; when the spread is complete, they are turned up and interpreted in the same order. Naturally, the Major Arcana are spread in Heaven and the Minor Arcana in Earth.
Quaternio Nuptialis (Marriage Quaternity)
0. Ego (Pivot)
I. Coniux (Spouse)
II. Umbra (Shadow)
III. Genus (Sibling)
IIII. Ipse (Self)
0. Ego (Pivot)
The deck of Majors is used to construct the Marriage Quaternity. The Pivot card is laid face down first, and it becomes the center for the rest of the spread. Choosing this card defines the juncture between Heaven and Earth, that is, between the eternal archetypal realm and the temporal world of ordinary life. Psychologically, it represents Ego Consciousness at the intersection of the two realms; when it is revealed (turned up), it suggests the stance to be taken with regard to the eternal and temporal structures that will be revealed by the remaining cards. Alternately, if you prefer to work with a significator, you may use the significator as the Pivot, since it represents ego consciousness at the moment of divination.
The next four cards are laid out counterclockwise, as four rays around the Pivot, beginning in the West. (The tags West, South, etc. are to help you remember the positions.) If you want to distinguish reversed meanings for the trumps, you should consider the bottoms of the cards to be toward the center of the circle. These cards represent four principal archetypes in a structure called the "Marriage Quaternio," especially as it appears in the Cross-cousin Quaternity (Jung, Aion 63-4, 209-52, MC 101, 185, 425-6).

Dearest hearts,
Lately I've been guided to anchor and emit Divine love, I know I'm not the only one. For I sense a whole group of light beings doing the same, maybe not the same type of meditation but amazing energy work through the heart chakra.
I've been on this healing, soothing, frequency band of Divine Love for a few days now and I believe it will continue on through the weekend when the majority of the collective consciousness is also focusing on LOVE on February 14th.
I feel surrounded by a beautiful pink wave of love, it's like a healing balm. My affirmations lately are alot about being, choosing Divine love, so it was a nice synchronicity this morning when I pulled out a card from the Triple Goddess deck (found on lightworkers.com) and the message was about divine love and the journey home.
I wonder if any of you are also experiencing this enhanced focus on Divine love lately?
Here is the message I received....
The Journey Home
I was shown a fledgling learning to fly. Its first efforts were very feeble, but as it used its wings more and more, they became stronger until it found the freedom of flight and was able to soar to great heights and fly great distances without any effort. “Not losing or giving away your power. Keeping your dignity. Fighting for what you need in order to be who you are. Standing up for yourself. Willing to challenge those who stand in the way of who you are. Unwilling to conform to someone else’s ideas for you even if they think they know better what you need.”- Five of Swords
I spent a lot of time today thinking about my love for writing. I have multiple books spinning around in my mind, slowly being written one article at a time. I thought about how I love writing so much and how I’m still wanting to link that with an income. I love writing so much that my perferred way of doing spiritual counseling is via email, even though people seem to prefer seeing me in person. And again even in person I spend more time taking notes of the messages coming out and then giving said notes to the clients in the end. What can I say? I am a starving artist writer.
I’m not starving for money only either. I’m starving for readers, for channeling messages that might actually bring some truth to a person, for the joy that comes from knowing that I am fulfilling my life purpose. The test seems to be, “Are you willing to fulfill your life purpose as a writer even if the readers never come?”
The answer is yes. So what if I end up being that tree that falls that no one hears or sees. If I died right now and Archangel Michael asked me what the highlight of my life was I would say, “I liked a lot of little things in my life but as far as personal joy that seemed to come effortlessly, nothing really compared to the happiness I felt when I was writing my blogs, my articles, my chapters….”
The five of swords seems to be reflecting this “I will win” attitude because even if I lose at this writing thing I’ve already won because anytime I get the computer to myself and get to write something I am already winning. And yes people around me wish I would do something else that was more....that created easier results of basic success. I want that too but if I was to let the writing go I would be letting a part of me go not to mention I would be cutting of a very real connection to Archangel Michael because he does channel through my writing sometimes.
As I sit here looking at and reflecting on the 5 of swords I think maybe it isn't always about a lose/lose situation. At this moment when I look at it the card seems to be saying to me, "You've fought to keep the real you alive. And maybe the real you is a loser to other people. But without the "real you" any other "winning" wouldn't feel the same and probably wouldn't be lasting. True happiness comes from fulfilling your life purpose and the goals of your spirit. You've been fighting for years to keep the real you alive and present. Maybe you don't need to fight for a place in this world anymore. Maybe now you can just get on with being YOU."

Like all spirituality bounded people I read tarots. Been doing so for many years. It is a hobby that I have found completely accurate at times.
Today when I read it I got
1. The wand Queen - which is suppose to symbolized me. I don't ask it concerning other people. I really don't like minding people business with my tarots.
2. The Hermit - which symbolized caution
3. The Emperor - which suppose to symbolized a man in my life.
I think the cards are telling me to be careful of who I choose for my soul mate. Over the years I seen the cards be right. I guess something is looking out for me.
I pulled a separate card out by chance is shows prosperity. - it was the nine of pentacles.
However if anyone out there can read these signs better than me. I will greatly appreciate you input. Bye

In this article I cover the Minor Arcana, and try to give structure to something I have long considered the most tedious part of learning the Art of Tarot.
My point of view on the Minor Arcana comes from Paul Fenton-Smith.
His book, “The Tarot Revealed” has been companion to my Rider-Waite deck since I picked up the Art.
It is his wisdom that I tend to defer to, and his interpretations that I have taken as my own.
Do take this article with a grain of salt, as the views expressed here are my own and may differ from each practitioner to the next.
Numbered ace to ten, with four court cards, the Minor Arcana cover fifty six of the seventy eight cards of the Tarot.
I shall cover the non court cards separately from the court cards, addressing each as a theme and by their individual suits.
The Four Suits
Each of the four suits represents an element, which is tied to a concept.
This element and concept is also used in the court cards.
Suit/Element/Concepts
Wands/Fire/Action, Passion
Cups/Water/Emotions, Relations
Swords/Air/Thoughts, Ideas
Pentacles/Earth/Material wealth, CareerRelations
above refer to any connection between two or more people, not necessarily limited to the romantic variety.
The Non Court Cards
Each of the four suits has ten non court cards, with each of the suits telling a different story. However, the numbers on each card represent a theme.
Card/Theme
Ace/Beginnings
Two/Decisions
Three/Growth
Four/Consolidation
Five/Change
Six/Stability
Seven/Perseverance
Eight/Strength
Nine/Re-assessment
Ten/Completion
Putting the theme together with the concept of the suit, it becomes easier to get a grasp of each of the forty non court cards of the Minor Arcana. E.g. the Four of Swords according to the two charts above would mean “consolidation” of “thought”.
The Court Cards
There are two ways to interpret court cards.
Firstly, each of the cards may represent people. In this case, it is possible that each of the cards represent a certain Zodiac. Alternatively, each of the cards may represent qualities of people.
Secondly, the court cards may also represent an element very much like the suits.
However, they all share a certain theme as well. Since the former is in contention between different schools of Tarot, I shall focus on the second method.
Card/Element/Theme
Page/Air/News, Ideas
Knight/Fire/Action
Queen/Water/Emotions
King/Earth/Results
Putting the theme of the court cards together with the suit, I usually interpret each card as an elemental expression of an elemental concept. E.g. the Knight of Swords would mean the “fire of air”; that is to say thoughts or ideas put into action.

The magician, is a card of great possibilities....
He is the opposite of the fool whom there is no knowledge and no idea what her wants and let himself go with the wind.
He is power incarnate. A physical demostration of power.
As in the cards, you see that all the suits of the minors are stated in the magician. He has the outward appearance of a capable man and has the ability to make his goals come to life.
In most cards there is the infinity sign in the picture. it shows the infinite powers of a magician. Prior to actions, all the potential in the universe is gathered. All possibilities are able to present itself....
Next.... you see that in the cards most magician has a table with the tools which are the minor suits... this means the choices and the resources to make everything possible, you need to choose.... it means to choose to act or remain inert.
Wisdom is in the card of the magician. it is outwardly shown.... you see the tools his skills all laid out.... unlike the high priestess..... which is hidden....
He points to the heavens and points to the earth. this action has several significance.
1) it means, "may my will be done..." the act of magic requires preparations, and the art of conceptualising the illusion or the act. hence very strong will. another more reportoire manner of speech is "May the heaven's will be manifested on earthly means...."
2) it could also mean of heaven and of earth there is only me to make the changes which is required because i am at the point of action. When the Buddha was born, it was rumored that the child pointed to the heavens and the earth in the same manner....
For power, it is very powerful card.... yet there is a dark sign. power uncontrolled and used for dark deeds....
Bearing in mind, HERMES and THOTH are both trickers gods....
HERMES often tricks other gods to his ends.
THOTH tricked RA to give up this powers and even won a nite from him in a chess game.
It could mean that there is a smooth talking sales man trying his luck to trick you....
Or what it is may not be what it seems.......
Yet.... it is the card I and the card of action...... Binary code... 0 to 1. 1 is again power on!!!!.

Tarot and all forms of divination are all methods for guessing the future based on the omens of today. These forms of divination has been passed down through the ages and have records on how they should be used correctly.
However, many people do not trust these guesses in the future as they state that these are without basis and with logic. They lack belief and faith, which is essential upon the use and operation of tools for divination. Moreover they view divination as random without a specific purpose or motive. When the reading or the diviner tells these people their fortunes, due to their lack of faith and concentration in the cards, the result proves to be false.
Yet an equal number of people can attest to the correctness of these methods to divine into the future. Being a Tarot reader, I would use tarot as and example. Tarot is an art of fortune telling. It is the most powerful tool in the Western tradition in which fortunes are told. There are several stories on the origin of Tarot. Some say it is an art, which has existed since the time of the pyramids. Some say that it is an art of gypsies
However, the first traces of the cards are form in the 14th century in the form of the Visconti-Sforza deck. The fact is it contains many icons and images which Psychiatrist, Sigmund Freud and management Guru, Carl Jung has mentioned in their books.
The reason why these people can use and believe in Tarot is the fact that tarot is a recorded system. The meanings of the 78 cards, the system of the spreads and the kabbalah have existed for ages. Individuals add their own meaning to the cards and come up with decks in their own images. These individuals have experiences with readings and through the records of these readings they develop their meanings and understanding of how better to divine the future. For instance, the 3 of swords upright in a reading concerning relationships is often referred to the card of sorrow and most tarot readers will in the same way. This method of recording readings and divination is similar to the methods of a doctor treating a patient.
Through the ages, the use of medicine developed from an art, which is random to an science with logic and system. How was this possible? In ancient times, healers and doctors did not really record the methods of how an illness is developed, what are the symptoms and how is it treated. These healers and doctors practiced through word of mouth and much knowledge is lost. It was only during the times of the greeks, the time whereby writing is developed that cases of illness are recorded, the types of medication used. As these information is useful to the society, a lot of effort and money has been placed in the preservation of these records and so the medicine became more and more accepted as a science. Yet medicine is also unpredictable. The most common of diseases could still kill if the patient, who is taking the medication, lacks the belief in that it will cure him of illness. New diseases and uncertainties are constantly developed. Hence there is research and development of new medications and treatments.
In view of motives, Divination and medicine are similar. One can aid the person in the curing of subconscious anxiety whereas the other cures the person physically. Both have established systems, which could be recorded and developed. Both can have repeatability in results. However, divination is not seen in positive light as there are many in the field who does it out of selfish and self fulfilling reasons. Moreover, these individuals tend to bend the readings or deceive the clients in order to achieve gains in their favor instead of the actual act of helping others. It is my sincere hope that in the future there are organizations which could develop the arts of divination in the positive manner. That is the reason for me to teach others Tarot and make them aware of the positive manner to use this art to act as a medicine to heal and not to deceive.
I leave you with an excerpt for the Alchemist.
"When people consult me, it's not that I'm reading the future; I am guessing at the future. The future belongs to God, and it is only he who reveals it, under extraordinary circumstances. How do I guess at the future? Based on the omens of the present. The secret is here in the present. If you pay attention to the present, you can improve upon it. And if you improve on the present, what comes later will also be better. Forget about the future, and live each day according to the teachings, confident that God loves his children. Each day, in itself, brings with it an eternity."

The Hermit
Of the most difficult climb upward lies also the most trying search inwards.
Alone at the peak and alone within, The Hermit bows his head in meditation and gentle quiescence to envision the light before him, glowing within. His forehead, home of the third spiritual eye, touches his magickal staff held upright in his left hand of intuition. His mind’s energy is the vehicle that wills the natural fluidic transmission of thought to descend the staff of willpower. It penetrates the ice snow ground of the unexplored unconscious to delve deep into the sacred space of archaic archetypal images.
With the guiding force light of the eternal spark of the God father sun, he illuminates the cavernous spaces within in search of monsters and angels.
These are the monsters of the fearing psyche, where within, like on the astral plane, living things are symbols. These symbolic monsters are our fears. The beasts of denial, indolence, anger and hatred breed side by side with the horrible creatures of hurt from out past made manifest as tentacles that strangle us and keep us imprisoned. There are the bestial forces of unreasonable stress and worry, the low frequency menace of depression and affliction, abuse and addiction and the suffocating nameless forms of sloth and strife.
All these things and the others that are borne of this realm are warred with not with the brunt of violence directed inwards but with the loving gentle light of awareness and truth, our inborn angels.
We must know and understand our monsters before we can overcome them.
The light of knowing oneself illuminates these terrible forms and gives it shape and names.
Name thy monsters.
Names have power and so naming them gives you power over them. Overpower them with the great light of wisdom, love, understanding and knowledge which may be found in all hearts, like angels cradled in their holy temple, which is ultimately in your heart of hearts.
To find that temple, one must retreat regularly into the silence, into your innermost being. Let the hermit who is also your inner, elder guide, direct your minds eye and understanding inwards. Withdraw from the world of noise and movement and rampant desires and be still like a candle within.
Only in the stillness can one come to appreciate the lasting resonance of God and listen to the Voice of the power that keeps one grounded and centered.
Only in silence can one begin to see the innate wisdom of all our souls and find the sustaining powers that helps us dominate the nightmares within.
Use the power of the inner light to learn and reflect upon one’s being. Only through self-knowledge can we understand the way to deal with our inner darkness.
Spend time alone.
Meditate on visions that bring peace, on words that bring solace. Breathe deeply and reassuringly. Let the silence comfort you, let the quietude bring you to your inner sanctuary where your angels are there ready to help you face your inner demons so that none of them can harm you ever again.
May your great and wise Hermit self lead you to where you wish to grow.

Strength in Rider Waite / lust in Thoth.
One of the two more striking differences between the Thoth and RW deck concerning STRENGTH/LUST is the order and the name. Crowley maintains the traditional ordering of the trump at 11 but changes the name to LIST instead. IN doing so, he expanded the range of influence behind the card while adding to it a greater sense of active dynamism and energy that wasn’t so outright in the RW. concerning the numbering, I personally feel that since LUST is indicative of the energy that drives the WILL and as WILL is associated with the magician, 11, being crowleys number of magickal expansion is very appropriate . The 8 in RW also seems highly attuned to this concept since the sideways 8 is a lemniscates above the head of the lady and also the magician. There appears to be a connection between the two numbers both concerning the magician and his directive. 8 is also the number of ‘female magic’ according to tradition.
The other difference concerns the ‘energy’ or tone of the card. In comparison, the imagery in RW appears more calm, docile and subtle while the Thoth exudes a energetic activity, overt power and obvious simmering fire, like that of a volcano about to erupt. In the same vein, there is a tame and gentle feel to the RW while LUST shows domination and ferociousness. This is seen in the way the scarlet woman rides the beast using a harness like on a horse while the decent lady of the RW uses just her hands to scratch and comfort the lion as one would playfully do to a pet dog. Babalon is wild and naked, her head thrown back in ecstasy while in RW, it is the lion that is in ecstasy while the lady is fully clothed in virgin white and subdued just like the beast. This onctrast seems to go against each other. Shamelessness and modesty.
While the feminine principle is being represented in the RW by the lady in white with her crown of flowers, Crowleys woman displays her essence embodied in the Holy Graal. The ten rays of light that appears to emanate from the Ten Sephiroth above the scared cup could very well signify our entire self (in the form of the map of the tree of life) returning back into the cup via dissolution. The other ten circles in the background of the card could indicate the scattered emanations of the sephiroth that is a direct result of the dissolution , the chaos that follows before the order is restored by a diety that lusts to create. Other patterns of Tens in the LUST card are the ten snakes and the ten heads counting the Babylon and the obscured head of the figure just below the limb of the beast. IN total, this counts up to 50. Five sets of tens which seem to correspond to the 50 gates of Binah in the kabbalah. But Maybe I’m just reading too much into it.
Between the two cards, RW imagery covers more traditional forms of nature, displaying mountains, trees, land, and flowers while the THOTH imagery ventures into mythological and primal realms including snakes (reminiscent of kundalini serpent power) and crowley’s 7 aspects. I personally feel that the seven are all beings driven by lust as understood as passion, even though they each belong to a different realm of being and their passions are driven to different pursuits. Likewise, in RW strength is inherent in the strength of the lion now tamed by the tamed lady with such strength plus the strength of nature to withstand the worst of humanity’s abuse.
Color wise, Crowley’s card is volcanic brown with fiery reds focused in the grail while the RW maintains a quiet evening glow like that of a setting sun, again close to the temperament of the card.
The signs of leo is present in RW as the lion itself while in thoth, leo appears more as a symbol while the ebast plays the role of Therion. There are no Hebrew letters in the RW.
Spiritually, RW’s strength deals more with symbols that are easily recognizable and translatable using traditional ideas from alchemy/astrology (the lion/leo), psychology (taming animal desires in the lady’s act) and osmic principles like the feminine forces (the lady herself) Crowley on the other hand uses his specific thelemic imagery and its attending cast of deities to construct a visual story of a process. The dissolution of the self into the godhead is the process. RW seems to function like one part of a process, a specific element. To me, Crowley’s LUST card has a far deeper and richer self-perpetuating meaning. Its more alive, like a gate card that Pollack suggests.

I plan on taking sometime tomorrow and meditating with the everyone else during the 11:11 shift. I want to see the peace that is promised. I have been contemplating the what the outcome could be or be like from different perspectives. We could bring about some great changes that will result in transformation and restoration. Could we get back to the mind set prior to 9:11?
The mind set though is two choices, burdened but the outcome of our near past. Self-critical thinking needs to be released. The "Stinking Thinking needs to go out with the trash."
The non-trusting mind though is very strong with our current thinking. There has been no asking of what we could provide for service. How we could sacrifice and make greater changes by doing without or making wiser choices. The two issues that will need to be weighed, the better choice is to wait and trust than to over-analyze it so much that it creates doubt, confusion, and interference.
So the direction the Oversoul wants to take with the Universe and the internal guidance is to be gentle in considering and move with trust and inner guidance.

The Egyptian Revival, or The Ever-Coming Son in the Light of the Tarot
By Frater Achad
Edited by Jade Ashcroft
The text of this electronic edition is taken from the Samuel Weiser printing of 1974. The work is not copyrighted
Preface
This little book has been written in the spirit of Suggestive Inquiry, and the writing of it has led to
many illuminating ideas in regard to the Universal Tradition as disclosed by the Tarot Trumps.
Some months ago, I prepared a treatise entitled "Q. B. L. or The Bride's Reception," purporting to be a simple exposition of the Qabalistic Process and an explanation of "The Tree of Life" with its
Correspondences according to the system I had studied and practiced for a number of years.
While writing it I obtained some "New" ideas which seemed to indicate the possibility of the Restoration of the Order of the "Paths" to their Original form.
These ideas I put down as they came to me, and included them as an Appendix to the main body of the book.
Briefly, the nature of the suggested change was as follows: The Qabalistic Tradition of the last few
centuries is that the "Ten Sephiroth", or "Numerical Emanations", were formed by the "Lightning Flash" of Creation, while the "Twenty-two Paths" were produced by the Ascent of the "Serpent of Wisdom" from Malkuth to Kether.
The recognized Numeration of these Paths was from Number Eleven, transmitting the Influence from Kether to Chokmah, to Number Thirty-two, transmitting it from Yesod to Malkuth the Tenth and last Sephira.
I questioned this, since the Serpent is said to have _Ascended_, and suggested that the Eleventh Path should be from Malkuth to Yesod, and so on up the Tree in exactly the reverse Order.
Upon experimenting with this arrangement I discovered that although there seemed to be a decided
improvement as regards the Paths below the Abyss, above it, all the symbolism became reversed and confused. Even so, there were some interesting combinations.
The main point was, however, that the new arrangement of the lower Paths suggested the
possibility of a wonderful Astrological Harmony, since many of them were now united with their Planetary Rulers, etc., in the Sephiroth.
The next step was the discovery of the Symbolism of the Middle Pillar, when the Three Mother Letters of the Elements were attributed to the Three Paths which unite the Four Sephiroth which are in equilibrium.
These, when placed in position, showed the Symbolism of the Universal Mercury under the form of a Caduceus and Winged Globe.
I decided, therefore, to adopt this arrangement of the Three Elements, and to try to place the Planetary and Zodiacal Signs in such positions on the Tree that the Astrological Symbolism would be perfect.
I discovered that this was possible. There was one variation, which, if adopted, disclosed some other valuable Qabalistic Symbolism in regard to "The Beginning". I explained this fully in the Appendix to Q.B.L. With my original notes left in their rough form, I published the complete book in a limited edition for Students of the Qabalah. This has met with a very good reception in all parts of the globe. I have received many encouraging letters, all of which express interest in the revised arrangement. The press reports have been favourable, and a conservative Magazine "The Occult
Review" admits the importance of the discovery.
One great Authority, however, while admitting that many of the ideas are brilliant, says that he cannot accept this Reformed Order in the face of several hundred years of the old tradition, and maintains that the previous arrangement is the correct one.
While I realize that great changes in the recognized Systems of Initiation in certain Orders
might be necessary if the Reformed Order of the Paths were adopted, and while recognizing the importance of the opinion of the Authority mentioned above, I still maintain that this New Arrangement is worthy of the most careful consideration and study. One would expect
to find some reason for the arrangement of the Paths, and this present plan seems to me the most reasonable; in fact it suggests that there was an Absolute Reason in the Primitive Universal Tradition, though this became lost to view as time went on.
My aim is to discover the Truth insofar as that is possible to man, and to uphold what seems to me most true, until I am convinced of error; but, to change my viewpoint, if necessary, as soon as more Light is given me. If this "New" arrangement is correct, it will prove itself to be so in the minds of those who study it in an unbiased manner. In any case it is of interest as one aspect of truth, and its right place may be found in due course. It may lead the Student to other important discoveries as it has in my own case. I am convinced that the enquiry is by no means exhausted.
The Tarot Trumps, being a sort of Universal Alphabet, may of course be interpreted in a variety of
ways, but I shall discuss their Symbolism when arranged upon the Paths of the Tree of Life according to the Reformed Astrological Order given in the Appendix to Q. B. L.
If by this means we obtain "More Light on the Tarot Trumps" and the Universal Tradition, which
transcends what we call Light and Darkness, becomes plainer to my readers, the book will not have been written in vain.
Before discussing the matter in detail, I am giving a brief summary dealing with the earliest
traditions of Mankind and their effect upon the present day, or the New Aeon, the Cycle of Aquarius, in which we are not living.
I trust that this book will lead to further Light on the very vital issues of this present Age, and
perhaps to a solution of some of the most perplexing problems.
At least, I hope so.
Frater Achad
Chapter I
Light on the Egyptian Revival
The more than ordinary interest displayed by all classes of people in the recent discoveries connected with the opening of the Tomb of King Tutankhamen, indicates, what may be termed, an Egyptian Revival.
This, to some, may appear quite unaccountable; in fact one of the popular writers in the daily papers has questioned just why the public should suddenly show such great interest in this particular discovery, while many similar ones have created little or no stir at all.
There may be a very deep underlying reason for this, and in order, if possible, to discover the hidden causes it will be necessary for us to make a brief survey of the Egyptian Current of Thought from the earliest times to the present day.
Again, we do not find the public interest centered alone in the treasures found in the tomb of
Tutankhamen, but in nearly every instance reference is made to his immediate predecessor King Amenhatep IV, or to use his more familiar title King Khu-en-Aten.
King Khu-en-Aten is reported to have been the first King to attempt the establishment of a
Monotheistic Religion in Egypt, and the Worship of the Aten or Solar Disk; whereas, after his death, Tutankhamen is said to have re-established the old order and the worship of Amen-Ra in place of that of Aten, or perhaps more properly Atum.
What was the cause of this controversy, and what is its bearing on the thought of the present day?
One of the immediate effects of the public interest in these matters has been the production of a
charming little book by Robert Silliman Hillyer entitled "The Coming Forth By Day". This consists in a number of Hymns translated from the Egyptian "Book of the Dead", as it was erroneously called. But the chief item of interest is the introduction, giving a brief but sympathetic outline of The Egyptian Religion, which ends as follows: "For the mystics of the world have
always, under all systems, escaped beyond the externals of faith, and held close to the Presence enthroned in the inner court of the temple; the same Presence in how many different sorts of temple! The God who walked by the Nile walks also among men today; whether we call him Christ or Osiris, whether we see him betrayed by Set or Judas, he is always here, he is always betrayed.
Osiris was not the shadow cast before by the coming of Christ, nor Christ a remembrance of Osiris; they are the same, the same significance in different syllables over the earth. The machinery of religion changes, but whatever the modern man finds in his heart, that the Egyptian found also; for that is not the Christian Religion or the Egyptian religion; it is Religion, and the rest is merely an attempt to name that which is nameless."
We can hardly imagine a statement of this sort being made in a small, popular book a few years ago. It is surely a sign of the times and of the Influence of the Ever-coming Son, the Crowned Child, Lord of the New Aeon.
But Mr. Hillyer does not go back far enough into the past to throw the most truly significant light on the present and future. In order that we may properly understand the matter, we must delve deeply into the remotest times; somewhat in the way Gerald Massey did in the "book of Beginnings." In fact his research work is invaluable, but unfortunately far too lengthy and recondite for the popular taste.
Let us then endeavor to piece together a few of the most vital and interesting fragments, so as to
obtain, if possible, a bird's-eye view of the whole matter.
The beginning of mythology with the mother and boy is universal, and still survives in the Virgin and Child of Rome. The sonship preceding the fatherhood represents the most ancient form of belief, and when recognized in that light, is found to explain many of the early mysteries.
The first boy and his mother were called Sut-Typhon.
Sut means "The Opener", and this may be taken in the physiological as well as the astrological sense.
The Child was the opener in the sense of being born of the un-mated Mother. The Sun is the Opener of the Day, while Sut as the Star-god was considered the Opener of the Year with the rising of Sothis, and on his rising was the Great Bear cycle founded.
The earliest conception of the great Mother was under the form of the Hippopotamus, the Devourer of the Waters. This led to that of the Water-Dragon, Typhon. But the Great Mother was She who brought forth the Stars, thus we find Her assuming the form of the Star-Goddess, Nuit of the Heavens, who is represented by a beautiful human form arched over the earth. Her change
to this human form was portrayed as "Beauty and the Beast in one Image", and from this was the ancient fable derived.
We find the Child described from the very earliest times, as of dual type, so that he became known as Sut-Har or Sut-Horus. Later the idea of twins arose, and these became the Gods of the Two Horizons. Sut the Opener and Horus the one who Shuts or Closes. The earliest phenomenal form of these twins was as darkness (Sut) and light (Horus).
Har or Horus as the Sun was an earlier type than Ra who later became the principal Sun-god. Har, as the son of Typhon the Great Mother, became known as the earliest of the Pharaohs and rulers of Egypt.
Primarily the word Pharaoh is derived from Har-Iu, which means the Coming Son of a two-fold nature, and of the two (Iu) houses. This, again, was Har of the Shus-en-Har or the Bar or Baal of the Heksus.
Now the rulers of the Shus were called Heks, and thus we may trace the early name of the God Hak which is a form of Harpocrates, the God of Silence, the Babe upon the Lotus; who is sometimes considered to be the twin of Horus, and concealed within him.
Har-Makhu was the Star-God of both Horizons. Sut-Har developed into the Solar Deity afterwards called Aten, or Atum. Thus we begin to see the Typhonian origin of the God Aten, and we shall learn from this something of the nature of the revival of Aten-worship under King Khu-en-Aten, the father-in-law of Tutankhamen.
But we first need some further links in our chain, and these may be supplied as follows:
As time went on there was mention of Four Suts, and the worship of the Mother Typhon and her son Sut began to fall into disrepute. A father was needed to account for the generation of all things, and gradually the idea of Tum the Old God of the Setting Sun arose, and he was said to be the Father of the Four Suts.
(Thus the four Quarters were established, or perhaps the Equinoctial points and the Solstices). Tum then became known as Atum, and the Solar Fatherhood was established. Also the twin Lion-Gods assumed the type of Sut-Horus in Atum-Ra.
The quarrel which rent the monuments arose on account of Sut-Horus (Sut as brother of the Sun) and the Egyptian Amen-Ra who was identified with the Greek Jupiter-Amen.
An alliance was made between the Ammonians and the Osirians against the followers of
Sut-Har, or Sutekh or Sebek, and the ancient genetrix Typhon.
The taunt flung by the Osirians at the Sut-Typhonians was "Orphan", intending to brand them as
Fatherless in a religious sense because they worshipped only the Mother and the Child, who became looked upon as the Harlot and the Bastard.
This led to many unpleasant things being said on both sides, and we find a period when the followers of both forms or worship accused the others of every form of immoral practice.
We should now take up a slightly different angle of the situation. Atum was the same as the first Adam of the Hebrews. The Rabbi's taught rightly that their typical Adam, of the same name as the monkey Udumu, had carnal knowledge of every tame and wild beast that he could dominate, and was not satisfied until Eve was made for him.
Atum as the Second Adam represented the first purely Human Deity without any animal admixture. We now get a glimpse of one of the reasons for the strange half-animal half-human types found in the ancient doctrines. There is another explanation of this, however, which will be discussed later.
At the same time we begin to see how it was that King Khu-en-Aten, who revived the early traditions, had many purely human figures made, quite unlike the other Egyptian Images, and that these came to light in the recent discovery of the Tomb of Tutankhamen, who preserved them.
We have made mention before of IU, which means Twin, or Dual being, male and female in one. As in the case of Pharaoh or Har-Iu, we again find IU as the root of the word Jew.
So, too, we find in Iu-Sif the origin of Joseph, of whom more anon.
We find in Unicorn, Sut the Sun and Typhon the genetrix, and how this type preceded the Bullock or Osiris.
Sebek (The Crocodile) was a form of IU-Sif, as well as Har-Makhu and Aten of the Disk, who were each the Iu of the two horizons, as Son of the Mother.
After the reign of King Apehpeh in Egypt, the religion again changed hands and there arose a "King
who know not Joseph" i.e. who did not worship IU-Sif or the Coming Son.
IU, as the Genetrix, became IU-Pater or Jupiter; and IU the Son who Comes, became IU-Sus, or Jesus. The Ever Coming Son was the prototype of the Wandering Jew, originally a symbol of Eternal Youth.
If there is any historical Joseph to be found in the monuments he is Aiu. He was a protégé of Amenhetep III.
This King was of the Black Aethiopian type, son of a black mother, but he married a fair wife. He was the father of Amenhatep IV, who changed his name of Khu-en-Aten, or the Adorer of Aten. Amenhatep the IV's nurse was the wife of Joseph. On account of his parentage, Amenhatep IV was probably of a Reddish type, and the Aten whose worship he adopted was the Red Disk of the
Sun. He may, however, have obtained a glimpse of the Concealed Father or Sun behind the Sun, and thus recognized that in one sense the old Sut-Typhonian tradition was nearer the truth than the prevalent worship of Atum Ra, or Amen Ra. He was of course misunderstood, most people thinking he had gone back to a dark and despised tradition.
I shall endeavor to show, later on, how this confusion arose. We must remember that Atum was born as Horus or IU, child of the Mother and afterwards developed into Atum-Ra as God the Father. Hence he became the make of the Gods and men, the Begetter who succeeded his father Ptah. Atum means "Created Man" or Adam.
When the human soul had come to be considered as derived from the Essence of the Male instead of the Blood of the Female, the woman was naturally said to be derived from the man, as she is in the second of the Hebrew Creations described in Genesis. A soul derived from Atum was dual in sex. The soul was divided into Adam and Eve, the typical two sexes of the Hebrew legend.
Again it is recorded "When Horus had fulfilled the period of 2155 years with the Easter Equinox in the Sign of Aries, the birthplace passed into the Sign of Pisces, when the Ever-Coming One, the Renewer as the Eternal Child who had been brought forth as a Lion in Leo, a Beetle in Cancer, as one of the Twins in Gemini, as a calf in the Sign of the Bull, and a Lamb in the Sign of the Ram, was destined to manifest as the Fish, in the Sign of the Fishes.
The rebirth of Atum-Horus, or Jesus, as the Fish Iusaas, and the Bread of Nephthys, was astronomically dated to occur in Beth-Lechem -- the House of Bread -- about 255 B.C., at the
time the Easter Equinox entered the Sign of Pisces, the house of Corn and Bread."
There had been a time when the two birthdays assigned to Horus of the Double Horizon, were allotted to the Child Horus in the Autumn, and to the Adult Horus at the Vernal Equinox; but when the Solstices were added to the Equinoxes, in the new creation of the Four Quarters established by Ptah for his Son Atum-Ra, there was a further change. The place of Birth for the Elder, the mortal Horus who was born of the Virgin Mother, now occurred in the Winter Solstice, and the
place of Birth for Horus the Eternal Son was celebrated at the Vernal Equinox, with only three months between the two instead of six.
As above stated, the Entry of Horus into the Sign of Pisces occurred 255 B.C., and another period 2155 years added to this, brings us down to the year 1900 E.V. at which time Horus should astronomically be expected to appear in Aquarius. This is a purely Human Sign, the Sign of MAN, the Water-bearer or Bearer of the Waters of Life in his own person.
In the year 1904 the Law for the New Aeon was received by one of the Adepts, and the reign of Horus duly proclaimed as Ra-Hoor-Khuit.
Since then many changes have occurred on the earth, and few can fail to recognize the coming of
Horus in one of his aspects as the Avenger of his Father Osiris, so plainly manifested in the great World War, and in other ways. But Harpocrates, his twin, is hidden within Him, and we may look for the Crowned Child to be born in every Heart, during the Coming Period.
I have given this brief sketch, which is not by any manner of means complete, in order to prepare the mind of the reader for the explanation of the Universal Alphabet of the Book of Thoth, or the Tarot Trumps, in relation to their proper Paths on "The Tree of Life" of the Ancient Qabalah, as reformulated in my book Q. B. L.
I shall hope to show by this means that there is a still deeper meaning under all these things, that the
Universal Tradition, long lost, may be revived to our great advantage in understanding not alone the Past, but the Present Period of the History of Mankind on this Planet.
But I shall first supply those who are unfamiliar with these ideas, with "The Essence of the Practical
Qabalah," and even those who have read "Q. B. L." will do well to refresh their memories by a study of the brief outline which follows.
Chapter II
The Essence of the Practical Qabalah
It is not our intention that this chapter should represent a complete exposition of the Mysteries of the Holy Qabalah, but rather to give a brief outline of some of the principal doctrines which may lead the Student to a clearer conception of the value of the Qabalistic System as a method of drawing the Infinite within.
The Plan of the Ten Sephiroth, or Numerical Emanations, forms the basis of the Work, for, by
erecting upon this foundation the scaffolding of our Temple, we may learn to restore our lost Equilibrium, thus canceling out the "Pairs of Opposites" which ordinarily obsess us.
Briefly, this process may be described as follows: Prior to any manifestation, the Supreme was NOT. This being inconceivable, may yet be slightly apprehended if we consider the Ain Suph or Infinite Space, followed by the potential existence of Infinite Light.
Only when we conceive this Infinite Light as concentrated upon a Central Point, does the first
positive Idea arise.
This Concentrated Light is called Kether -- The Crown -- the First Sephira. From this all
else proceeds very much in the same way that Light may be broken up into the Colors of the Spectrum.
The next highest Idea is that of Wisdom, represented by Chokmah, the Second Sephira or
Emanation. This is equivalent to the idea of the Logos, the Word of Creation which was in the Beginning with God and which was God. This is the great Creative Word -- the Divine Fiat -- and represents the Highest Intelligence of the Archetypal World.
Next, co-equal with Wisdom, is Understanding, Binah the Third Sephira, the Highest Intuition which is capable of interpreting the Word correctly and of transmitting It to the lower Spheres. This is the Creative World of the Qabalah, the Great Mother Substance, energized by the Divine Will and Life.
These Three -- Light, Life, and Substance -- are the Supernal Triad, One and Indivisible. For Life is
the substance of Light and the Second and Third Sephiroth are but aspects of the Living Substance which is Light Itself.
Next we come to the Formative World, composed of the following Six Emanations:
Chesed or Mercy, balanced by Geburah or Severity and forming thus Two Great Pillars which support the Arch of the Trinity. These balanced Ideas are harmonized in a third, the Sixth Sephira -- Tiphereth -- which equilibrates them and is Itself called Beauty or Harmony. Following this we find the triad of Victory, Netzach, the Seventh Sephira; balanced by Splendor, Hod, the Eighth Sephira; and equilibrated by the Foundation, Yesod, the Ninth Sephira.
All the above are summed up in the Material World, the Tenth Sephira which is called Malkuth or The Kingdom. This sphere is pendant to the others; it is in reality One with Kether for all proceedeth from the One and is within the One. Yet in order that we may learn
to comprehend the Nature of Unity, we must first contemplate the diverse and apparently complex. The limitations of Time, Space and Circumstance make this necessary to us at our present state of development.
But the ideal before us is to return to the Pure Conception of Unity, thus ridding ourselves of the
Illusion of duality and accomplishing what is called The Great Work.
Had the Qabalistic Plan ended with the production of Malkuth the Kingdom or Material Universe, we should have been forced to admit that the creative process was one of degeneration. And so it Must appear to us from our limited viewpoint, until we have learned the Plan of Redemption and profited by it.
Chokmah, Wisdom or the Higher Will, is called The Father; Binah, Understanding or Intuition, represents the Great Mother; the next Six Sephiroth are centered in Tiphereth, The Son, and represent the Intellect; while Malkuth, The Kingdom or Animal Soul which perceives and feels, is called The Daughter.
The Daughter must marry the Son and so become the Mother, true mate of the Father, before all is re-absorbed into the Crown of Light. In other words, by means of Intellect we may control our animal nature and eventually Understand through Intuition, which in turn
is capable of receiving the Wisdom of the Father and thus making us true representatives of God upon Earth capable of doing His Will as it is done in Heaven.
The Qabalists further postulate a series of Graded Intelligences higher than Man. These are the Celestial Intelligences, the rulers of the Sephiroth. They reflect and re-produce the Divine Ideas, and also actively transmit them for the illumination of man and the control of Nature. Thus each is in itself both active and passive.
The Human reason is also active and passive. The reason proper is the active aspect, the passive side is usually termed intuition. This intuition is capable of absorbing truth from above and below. The active reason is capable of forming a thesis, antithesis, or synthesis in regard to the truths presented to it by the intuition.
The Nature-reason is to be found in the intelligibility and order of all natural things,
according to their form and the material of which they are composed.
All corporeal things may be said to have a three-fold existence. They exist as Ideas in the Mind of the Logos. Materially they exist in themselves, and Spiritually in the minds of Created Intelligences. It is important that we should grasp this three-fold idea of existence, as it makes many things clear that would otherwise be obscure to us.
If, for instance, we perceive a table, we should remember that since we are of the Order of Created
Intelligences, the table exists Spiritually in us. What a table is in itself we do not know. Nor are we able to comprehend with certainty its Nature as an Idea in the Mind of the Logos.
Thus things may appear imperfect to us, while in truth they are perfect but for our limited idea of
their nature.
The Great Work consists in correcting our distorted vision, thus making us capable of perceiving
all things in the White Light of Truth, unrestricted by the limitations of our narrow outlook.
This may only be accomplished by our obtaining what may be termed a world-view or vision, free from distortion. The aim of all the Great Teachings is to give us such a view of the whole Creation, so that we shall be enabled to cooperate consciously in the fulfillment of the Divine Purpose.
Every Celestial Intelligence is said to be interiorly united with all things and to contain them
in a spiritual manner. Thus the Great Work is to unite the Microcosm with the Macrocosm.
It is also said that every mundane intelligence is capable of taking all things into itself in a spiritual
manner, and that in proportion to the extent to which this is accomplished does it become one with them. Here we have the key to the use of "The Tree of Life" or Qabalistic Plan of the Sephiroth and Celestial Intelligences. As we travel up the "Paths" of this "Tree" we must gradually absorb and so become One with all things in the universe in a spiritual manner. This must be accomplished by gradual steps, represented by the Grades of the Great Order. Each step taken must be
fully mastered, ere we proceed to the next.
We must learn to balance and equilibrate all things as we go, for there may be no false summits in
our Mystic Pyramid, nor missing spokes in the Great Wheel.
The Daughter, the nature-will, must be united to the Son, the personal-will which makes man more than mere animal, and gives him the power of choice. What is more, the Intellect -- or Son -- is naturally above Time and Space and is capable of containing time and space and all that is within time and space.
Thus, by means of Dhyana, does the Mystic transcend these limitations and becoming one with them absorbs them into himself. But the little "self" is no more, for he comprehends the nature of the Higher Self or Holy Guardian Angel. This is what is meant by the destruction of the ego; not a lessening of the conception of self but a recognition of the Nature of Self in its wider aspect.
The little self sees Nature as extremely complex; there are so many things to know that the task seems endless and impossible. The Qabalah teaches us to group all ideas according to their fundamental nature and correspondences, thus as we proceed, we are able to know a greater and greater number of things in the light of a smaller and smaller number of ultimate ideas. The thirty-two Paths of Wisdom enable us to classify all things in the universe in terms of thirty-two; from that we go on reducing our ultimate ideas and increasing the field they cover, until Unity is reached.
The formula of 5 = 6 (that of the Adeptus Minor in Tiphereth) is represented by the Pentagram and the Hexagram. Man, the Microcosm is symbolized by the Pentagram composed of the Four Elements Crowned by Spirit. The Solar System is summed up in the Hexagram with its Planetary Correspondences, and this represents the Macrocosm.
Man must learn to draw the Macrocosm into himself, to absorb spiritually the Ideas represented by the Planetary and Solar Intelligences; thus may this part of the Work be accomplished. He obtains the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel or Higher Self. Beyond this, again, is the great Star Universe, wherein every man and every woman is a Star. He must absorb the Ideas of this Sphere, and at the same time recognize that every atom is a star in his own being.
Thus at last will he come to Understanding, the Throne of the Great Mother.
Then will he, who is called Nemo, absorb the Wisdom of the Father, the Logos, so that in turn he may not only Understand but Will and Create according to the Divine Plan. He will then become Illumined by the One Light of the Crown upon his head; yet this, too, he must absorb so that Selflessness becometh Self and the Final stage of the Solve formula of the Great Work is
accomplished. This Light must then penetrate deeper and deeper into Matter till the Plan of Creation is fulfilled.
Remember these words: Things exist because God knows them. Man knows things because they exist.
And again: Man ascends from things to ideas; God descends from Ideas to things.
Thus ye have the keys of the Great Gateway in your hands.
Now it is well that we should consider once again the very essence of the Qabalistic Process and the
nature of its mystery of Number as the basis of all ideas.
If we can succeed in reducing our ideas to a numerical basis, we are better able to deal with them
and to bring them back to Unity.
The Ten Sephiroth give us a basis of the decimal scale for all our main Ideas, which must be grouped accordingly. The Twenty-two connecting Paths, based on the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which is itself numerical, enable us to link these ideas and to travel from one set to another with perfect ease and certainty. The Plan of the Four Worlds, The Archetypal,
The Creative, The Formative, and The Material, enables us to increase the number of things known by considering the Sephiroth and Paths as existing in all of these simultaneously, yet at the same time to classify all Elemental ideas in terms of Four. These, crowned by Spirit, make the true Microcosm, Man the Pentagram. Our main Universal Ideas are to be summed up
in the Hexagram as before said. Unite the Pentagram and Hexagram and an Eleven-pointed Star give us the Key of the Aeon with its Word Abrahadabra as our Magick Formula. Thus we unite with the Word, the Logos, and finally with the Divine Breath which produced It.
Remember again the Qabalistic means of reducing all Words to their Numerical basis.
For in Hebrew every word is also a number. Thus we may discover the Word and Number of our own being, and our place in the Creative Scheme. The correspondences between words of a
similar numerical value will help us to form Galaxies of Stars, which are men and women, traveling in groups in a common direction, without friction, each in his proper orbit. Thus shall we come to comprehend the Mystery of the Starry Heaven, the Body of Our Lady Nuit. For as every atom in our bodies is itself a little solar system, so are we in the Body of the Mother of Heaven, and She is energized by the Invisible Point which is Not, yet which is the Life of All.
Remember too: The more universal ideas and reasons to which we attain, the nearer we approach to thinking the God Thought, which is the universe itself. There is but One true Thought, the ultimate Thought which is All Things. Normally, that which can be thought is not true, as the Hindus tell us, for until we reach the Smooth Point all things are but relative, and so is truth.
But: The Highest Reason, which is in God and which is God, is absolutely ONE. God knows all things by One Idea, which is identical with His Being.
Chapter III
More Light on the Tarot Trumps
In the Appendix to "Q. B. L. or The Bride's Reception" I have shown the possibility of arranging
the Twenty-two Trumps of the Tarot on the Paths of the Tree of Life so that the Astrological Attributions are in perfect order, and I shall now trace out the Symbolism of the Cards themselves, and attempt to show that this arrangement is the Original one, long lost in the mists of antiquity.
The Diagram of the Tree of Life, with its attributions according to this re-arrangement, forms
the basis of our present study.
Kether, The Crown of Light, is called AHIH or Eheieh which means Pure Being, that which Is, prior to "existence" or the "standing out" or "coming forth" of the manifested Universe. It is also called The Concealed of the Concealed, and the Supreme and Concealed One which is therefore Amoun.
In Egyptian the hieroglyphic is two feathers, which represent AA. From this we obtain the idea of The One First and the One Last, similar to Alpha and Omega. This sign also represents the inherent idea of possible duality, or the apparent duplication of the One. But again it may be translated
IU and is therefore the Root of "The Ever Coming One" of a dual nature. From this idea sprang that of IU-Pater or Jupiter as the Father, and Io, the root of Jove or Jehovah, which also symbolizes the Number Ten, or the Ten Sephiroth inherent in the Being of the One.
Kether is also called the Sphere of the Primum Mobile, the First Whirling Motion. It represents the
Living Substance; being potentially both Life and Substance in the Pure form of Light.
From Kether proceed the Ideas of the Father, Mother, and Holy Spirit or Son.
The First ray produced Yod, in Chokmah, the next He in Binah, and the third Vau in Tiphereth, and from this proceeded the final He, the Daughter, in Malkuth.
On the Path from Kether to Chokmah is the Tarot Trump called "The Wheel of Fortune," the Key of Destiny which is one with the True Will, and also, some say, with Chance. This is the Card of Iu-Pater, Jupiter the Father, and it symbolizes the Great Wheel of Life; the Whirling Forces of the Primum Mobile, which resulted in a System of Revolving Orbs, the Star Universe or Sphere of the Zodiac, in Chokmah.
This Card depicts the Three Principles of Alchemy, Mercury, Sulphur, and Salt; the Three Gunas, Satva, Rajas and Tamas; the three forms of Force, Radiation, Conduction and Convection; the States of Peace, Activity, and Sloth. These are symbolized by the Sphinx, Hermanubis and Typhon upon the rim of the Wheel; while the "Centrum in Centri Trigono" is concealed within.
This Life Force is active in the One Substance, which becomes differentiated into the Four Elements as symbolized by the Four Cherubic Beasts at the Corners or the Card. Also this is the birth of Tetragrammaton, the Word of the Elements, coming into Existence, or becoming, as shown by the Letters Yod, He, Vau, He on the Wheel. On this we also find the letters Taro or Rota and the suggestion of the Beginning of Law as Thora.
This Ray of Light is the Essence of Wisdom, the Higher Will or Purpose of the Universe, and as the Star Universe this becomes apparent in Chokmah, the Sphere of the Zodiac, the Second Sephira. It is the root of the Jupiter-Amoun Tradition of the Fatherhood of God as a Supreme and Concealed Force, which on that account was little comprehended by those who accepted the Tradition of a Mother and Son, with the Son preceding the Father.
This Ray is the Essence of Light, but it becomes represented in Chokmah as Grey, a mixture of colors which partially concealed the Supreme Essence, thus causing the Root of Duality. From this Path cometh the Tradition of the Light as the Word or Logos, who was in
the Beginning with God and who was God.
The Path from Kether to Binah is attributed to the Trump called "The Universe" corresponding to Saturn, Kronus, or Time. This represents the early tradition of SUT, who later became identified with Set or Satan. Here we have the beginning of the Tradition of the Fatherless Child and the Mother, the Sut-Typhonian Mystery, as we shall see more clearly later on.
The Card shows a Female Figure as the Mother of All Things, but this conceals a figure of Dual-Sex, or the Idea of the Two-Sexed Son, which afterwards became the Twin Horus, and later the Two figures Sut-Horus, as Darkness and Light, and the Two Horizons. The Ellipse shows the beginning of the Time Cycle, for Saturn or Kronus was the Devourer of his Children, the Hours. It also indicates how the Gods, the Tellers of Time, were to be born from the Elementaries or Elements, under which form the earliest ideas of the gods existed. The Card indicates the essential natures of the Four Elements in the Undifferentiated Substance from which they proceeded; or in the Womb of Time. The Four Beasts at the corners again show this clearly, and the Card itself is called "The Great One of the Night of Time." In this Path "The Light shineth in Darkness but the Darkness comprehendeth it not," for the Children of Time know not the mystery of the Here and Now.
This Card is the synthesis of the Elemental Forces; the Figure in the center directs the Positive
and Negative Currents. It is attributed to Saturn and symbolizes the Influence from the Crown which resulted in the formation of the Sphere of Saturn or the Sephira Binah, the Great Mother. The early tradition connected the idea of the Great Mother with Typhon the Mother of Sut.
Binah is the Sphere of the Substance of all things, and it balances that of Chokmah wherein is
concentrated the Life Force. Together they represent Living-Substance, the Father-Mother from which all proceeds.
Binah is also called The Great Sea. All is said to have been produced from Water brooded over by Spirit.
Uniting Chokmah and Binah we find the Path attributed to "The Star" and the Sign Aquarius. This
Sign is Ruled by Saturn, and it will be noticed that it is connected with that Sphere. But it also represents the mystery of the Star Universe, which symbolism is derived from Chokmah.
The old G.D. Ritual (although attributing this card to the wrong Path, as in the old order) states:
"This Key represents a Star with seven principal and fourteen secondary rays, altogether twenty-one, the number of the Divine Name AHIH. (Notice AHIH is the Divine Name of Kether immediately above.) In the Egyptian sense it is Sirius, the Dog-Star, the Star of Isis-Sothis. Around it are the seven planets. The nude figure is the symbol of Isis, Nepthys, and Hathoor. She
is Aima, Binah, and Tebunah, the Great Supernal Mother Aima Elohim pouring upon Earth the Waters of Creation. In this Key she is completely unveiled. The two urns contain the influence of Chokmah and Binah. On the Right springs the Tree of Life, on the Left the Knowledge of Good and Evil, whereon the bird of Hermes alights, therefore the Key represents the restored world."
This symbolism is so clear according to the Restored World Plan of the Paths that it would seem to
need little comment. But there is much more that might be said.
The earliest calculation of Time centered in the revolution of the Serpent round the Dog Star. The First Mother is said to have given birth to the Seven Elementaries, who became the Seven Gods or Planetary Intelligences, the tellers of Time. I may go into this aspect more fully later on.
I have purposely made no mention of the Path from Kether to Tiphereth, as this will be better understood if we first deal with those from Chokmah to Tiphereth, and from Binah to Tiphereth.
According to the Tarot Keys these are "The Sun" and "The Devil"; the twins of Light and Darkness.
The Card of "The Sun" represents the Influence of Chokmah or the Star Universe upon Tiphereth. The old G.D. description may again be quoted, but how different it appears when the card is in its proper place. "The Sun has twelve principal rays which represent the Zodiac (Chokmah), these are divided into 36 Decanates, and again into seventy-two Quinaries. Thus the Sun itself embraces the whole Creation in its rays. The Seven Hebrew Yods falling through the Air refer to the Solar Influence descending. The Two Children, standing respectively upon Water and Earth, represent the
Generating influence of both, brought into action by the Rays of the Sun. They are the two inferior and passive elements, as the Sun and Air above them are the superior and active elements of Fire and Air. Furthermore these two Children resemble the Sign of Gemini."
Now, if we place the
"Key" in position on its proper Path, glancing for a moment at the complete diagram of the Paths, we shall be able to draw some further conclusions.
The Sun, as a Star from the Sphere of Chokmah, is seen descending to take up his Office in Tiphereth, as the Son of the Father. The symbolism of the Sun shows the corrected division of Time according to the Precession of the Equinoxes, viz.: the Osirian calculation of the 365 1/4 days in the Year, instead of 365 according to the Sut-Typhonians whose calculations were made by the Dog-Star. Gerald Massey states "There is an Egyptian legend which relates how Osiris in the
365th year of his reign came from Nubia accompanied byHorus to chase the Sut-Typhonians out of Egypt. By this we may understand that the perfect Solar Year of 365 1/4 days was made to supersede the Sun and Sirius Year of 365 days. In the battle for supremacy Horus was
aided by Taht, the Lord of the luni-solar reckonings."
The two Children, or Twins, represent the twin theories, and also the Horus Twins, and the Two
Traditions, which resolve themselves in Tiphereth.
Also the Wall of Red with its Blue Top represents the Barrier and the Waters of Death. The Path
attributed to the Key "Death" is that from Chesed to Geburah, and it crosses this Path of "The Sun." Again the Twins appear on the Path of Gemini, which runs from Tiphereth to Hod.
Rider's Pack shows a different symbolism. The Sun and Wall appear as before, but the Twins are replaced by a Child on a White Horse. This is the Crowned Child, the Son of the Sun, who has overcome Death and is the ruler of this Aeon.
Chokmah is the Root of Fire and this Card is called "The Lord of the Fire of the World" showing the Sun as representative of the Star Universe while ruling the World or Malkuth the Tenth Sephira.
This is the Path of the Tradition of Light.
We may now examine the Path from Binah to Tiphereth which is represented by "The Devil" and the Sign of Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn from whose Sphere it springs.
This Key is called "The Lord of the Gates of Matter, the Child of the Forces of Time," and it
represents the Birth of Matter from the Great Sea, orMother, the One Substance. This is the Way of the Children of Time, Saturn or Kronus. It is the Path of the Tradition of Darkness, the twin-brother of Light, of Lucifer, the Satanic Saviour who Fell from Heaven. This gave birth to the idea of the Sun as the Devil or Satan, for it represents the Sun in his material aspect, the Red Disk of Atum.
The Key shows the Twins chained by Time, while those of the "Sun" Card are Free, since they receive the influence of the Divine Will from Chokmah. The Italian Pack clearly shows The Devil standing upon the Sun, and so does Levi. This is the Card of Ayin, the Eye. It represents the Eye doctrine rather than that of the Head or Heart. The Sut-Typhonian calculation of Time was incorrect in representing the Year by 365 days.
Notice in this card there is also a Wall, but the color symbolism is reversed. This again indicates the
Wall of "Death" whose path this one crosses in the same manner as that of the Sun on the opposite side of the Tree.
This Path of "The Devil" represents the Sut-Typhonian tradition of Set or Satan, as its ruler was
afterwards called. The Path of "The Sun" represents the tradition of the Jupiter-Ammonians with Horus as its ruler. Horus of the Star is the reconciler between them.
Both the traditions of Light and Darkness as opposed to each other sprang from the Primal Idea of
the Pure Spiritual Light of The Ever Coming Son, IU, the Holy Child of Kether. So we may now examine the Path from Kether to Tiphereth, that of the Influence of the Supreme and Concealed Father of All becoming Manifested in the Son in whom Glory and Suffering are identical.
This, by Tarot, is the Card called "Judgment" attributed to the Letter Shin, the true Fire of the
Spirit, and the progenitor of the Sun behind the Sun.
This is the equilibrated Triple Flame of the Supreme Godhead, the Winged Globe of the Three Supernals, the Head of the Staff of the Universal Mercury, the Absolute Reason of All Things.
The Influence of this Path causes the Dead to rise from their tombs in the Resurrection of the pure Spirit and the Regeneration of Matter. It passes through the Path of "The Star" as the Child of Chokmah and Binah which overcomes Death. It is the Path of the Ever-living One coming into Manifestation, it represents the Absolute and Universal Tradition of the Golden Age. "It
is called the Card of Perpetual Intelligence because it _regulateth_ the motions of the Sun and Moon (Tiphereth and Yesod) in their proper Order, each in an orbit convenient to it" (Sepher Yetzirah).
The Paths of "The Sun" and "Devil" merely suggest man's attempts to discover the true Motions and Order of the Universe, and to translate them into Time. This Path _actually regulates these motions_, therefore suggests, perhaps, the true calculation of the Course of the whole Solar System round the invisible Center of All.
It is said in the Old G.D. Ritual: "This card is a glyph of the powers of fire. The Angel crowned with the Sun is Michael, the Ruler of the Solar Fire. The Serpents which leap in the Rainbow are symbols of the Fiery Seraphim. The Trumpet represents the influence of the Spirit descending upon Binah (this according to my opinion should be Tiphereth), the Banner and Cross refer to the rivers of Paradise."
But in this Card we are able to trace the symbolism of the Divine Breath of Kether, not
whispering the Word in Chokmah, but coming to us through the Trumpet of the Sun, ever proclaiming the Brightness of the Lord and Giver of Life to all men.
And this Trumpet is the Horn that is exhalted for ever. The Path combines the Mysteries of the Death and Resurrection as shown in "The Sun"; and the Erection and Re-erection of "The Devil" with the Generation and Regeneration of the Spirit.
As shown in "Q. B. L.," Shin represents the Roots of the Elements, the essences of Kether, Chokmah and Binah, concentrated in Tiphereth. It also represents "Number," the first of the Three Creative Sepharim of the Sepher Yetzirah.
Having dealt with the most direct influences descending upon Tiphereth, and we must next consider
the supporting Pillars and the indirect influences through Chesed and Geburah.
Let us take the Path from Chokmah to Chesed, and then follow the one from Chesed to Tiphereth, thus completing the Right side first.
The Key to the Influence between Chokmah and Chesed is called "Temperance" and is attributed to the Sign Sagittarius. A Figure is seen pouring fluid from one urn to another. It represents "Preservation," as opposed to the "Destruction" of the Path of the "Blasted Tower" on the opposite side, while the equilibrated Path in the Center is that of "Creation" and "Regeneration" as before noticed.
Sagittarius is the Sign symbolized by the Archer who is half man, half horse. The Horse is said to be
the gift to man of the Goddess of Wisdom, viz.: Chokmah. This Sign is Ruled by Jupiter and it receives the Influence of the Path of IU-Pater through Chokmah.
It is also connected directly with the Sphere of Jupiter or Chesed. This gives us some indication of the dual-symbolism of the Forces of Life in the two Urns held by the figure on the Card. We may also glimpse some idea of the Ascending and Descending Arrows of the AA or IU. Again we have the ascent and descent of the Wheel of Life or Zodiac which revolves, so to speak, as Chokmah, between the two Jupiterial influences.
The Figure is clothed in Red and Blue, for Chokmah is the "Root of Fire" and Chesed the "Sphere of Water."
It stands on Water, or Chesed, but the Robe immediately above the Water is Red, for Sagittarius is a Fiery Sign.
In Rider's Pack we actually see a "Path and a Sun" to the left of the Figure, just where the Path of the Sun comes in this arrangement. The Sign of Fire is on the Breast of the Figure, above which is faintly seen the Hebrew IHVH, the Word of the Father, Chokmah.
Chesed is the Sephira of Mercy (opposed to that of Severity, Geburah) and also that of Authority for it Transmits or reflects the Word of the Father or Logos.
The Path from Chesed to Tiphereth is that of "The Moon" by Tarot and is attributed to the Sign of Pisces, which in turn is Ruled by Jupiter. Through this Path came the Piscean Tradition of the Fish-God, another aspect of Horus as the Solar Deity or Son.
The Card itself is described in the old G.D. Ritual as follows (we should place the card in position
on the Tree and study the symbolism carefully):
"It represents the Moon in its increase in the side of Gedulah (Chesed), it has sixteen principal and
sixteen secondary rays. Four Hebrew Yods fall from it (4 = Chesed the representative of the Law of the Father). There are two Watchtowers, Two Dogs and a Crayfish. The Four Yods represent the letters of the Holy Name (transmitted from the breast of the Figure of Temperance). The Crayfish is emblem of the Sun (Tiphereth) below the horizon, as he ever is when the Moon is increasing above."
As we shall see later the Path of the "Sun" is that of the Setting Sun. The Moon God was known as
"Sin" whose word is restriction, and this has been characteristic of the Piscean Age just passed. The true tradition of the Sun became clouded in that...

The Virgin or Isis is represented in this card from the Initiates Way Tarot.I'd like to hear opinions on the imagery in this card. What can you see in the layers and what can you derive from it without having any of the imagery explained? When this card turns up in a Tarot reading the questioner may be receiving guidance or instruction of a spiritual nature from the higher self. Intuitive decisions are being made, as opposed to making choices through left brain logic; listen to the inner voice in the silence of the heart. There may also be unleashed occult power, or unrealised inner potential lying dormant.Reverse interpretation:Intuitions should not be repressed. One's gifts are a blessing and recognition of inner needs is essential. Difficulties are a result of being out of touch with the unconscious, or inner self. possible insensitivity towards a partner, or denial of one's sexual and emotional needs.Initiates Way Tarot © Jade Ashcroft 2006

The Tarot is a deck of cards now commonly used in 'fortune telling', or divination. Divination using cards is called cartomancy. The deck consists of four numbered suits like a regular deck of playing cards, and twenty
two picture cards numbered one through twenty-two (in some decks, zero through twenty-one).
Uses for Tarot cards are varied. They can of course be used in a traditional fortune telling layout. But they can also be used as inspiration cards, affirmation tools, or for self-discovery and intuition building.
The tarot can help you understand yourself better and teach you how to tap your inner resources more confidently.
Tarot reading revolves around the belief that the cards can be used to gain insight into the current and possible future situations of the subject (or querent),. the cards help them tap into a collective unconscious or their own creative, brainstorming subconscious.ore confidently.
The standard tarot deck consists of 78 cards divided into two sections, the major and minor arcanas. The word arcana is the plural of arcanum which means "profound secret." To the alchemists of the Middle Ages, the arcanum was the secret of nature. The tarot cards are therefore a collection of the "secrets" that underlie and explain our universe.
The 22 cards of the major arcana are the heart of the deck. Each of these cards symbolizes some universal aspect of human experience. They represent the archetypes - consistent, directing patterns of influence that are an inherent part of human nature
Modern oracle cards
Recently, the use of tarot for divination, or as a store of symbolism, has inspired the creation of modern oracle card decks. These are card decks for inspiration or divination containing images of angels, meditational, ascended masters, etc. Although obviously influenced by divinatory Tarot, they do not follow the traditional structure of Tarot; they often lack any suits of numbered cards.

The traditional imagery on this card usually has a magician and his tools of the trade.
The Initiates Way re-interpretation offers a couple of layers of meaning.
The open door of communication, with the movement of cyclic energy are the destination to which the tools of the magician have been the voyage.
On the right hand side of the card you can see the sword, pentacle, cup and wand lying at the bottom of a growing branch of light, suggesting movement upwards into a higher realm of understanding. The symbol for eternity and the Ankh suggest deeper significance again for the seeker to meditate over. When this card appears in a reading there is a basic interpretation, as a starting point, which the practitioner can use:
INTERPRETATION: Confidence, intelligence and practical ability of the questioner are suggested here. The channeling of mental ideas into productive activities, leading to success in one's chosen field. Personal satisfaction in relationship matters and also the channelling of sexual energy into spiritual activities or projects; sublimation of energy for the highest good.
Reverse interpretation: Creative energy is being misused or inhibited, either due to difficult circumstances or present attitude of the questioner. Lack of confidence and fear of the unknown may be blocking progress. Dishonesty, frustration and, or impotence is suggested. There may be a great deal of effort being put into an unsatisfying relationship , leaving the questioner weak.
In relation to the tree of life this card can be found on the path connecting Kether and Binah, or the 12th path. The pure energy of spirit, descending on its first step on the path towards density. It is the "First Principle" or "Beginning" of the Alchemists and is symbolically represented by the serpent that bites its tail, or "Uroboros". Active and passive energies issue from this path, it receives and transmits these energies simultaneously.

In the traditional tarot decks this card usually has the image of a jester, or fool.
In my re-interpretation of the imagery, which I was given by spirit, there are two flows of energy spiralling inwards and outwards. There are no definitive explanations as to what the symbolism in this card represents, and it is open to the individual to take from it whatever they see, and whichever meaning they arrive at for the imagery is right for them.
When dealing with what the card means as it appears in a reading, I have given a brief simple explanation, which is merely a starting point for interpretation.
Interpretation:
A new way of life, renewed energy and beginnings are indicated with the appearance of this card, also and intuitive leap into the unknown is a necessary step to take now. There are feelings of well-being an positivity; an ability to live in the moment without excessive concern for the future. The exhilaration of falling in love, or the possibility of a new relationships could be immanent.
Reverse interpretation:
Carefree innocence is still apparent but this is an inappropriate attitude for this moment. Foolishness is likely; restlessness and irresponsibility, a reluctance to make commitments will be causing friction. A naive attitude and foolish infatuation may lead to problems within a relationship.
In relation to the tree of life this card can be found on the path connecting Kether and Chokmah, or the 11th path. Interested in learning more about the Tree of life in relation to the tarot?

Hi All,
To me the six of swords represents our attempts to look within us so as to change on a molecular, “scientific” level. Behind closed eyelids, whether through prayer, meditation, affirmation, or intention, we really can continue to evolve our own energetic bodies which leads to our own ‘awakening.’ The example I always like to use is that by raising our energy on that molecular level, we will, eventually, be able to activate our DNA…meaning that 100% of our energy and astral body will be vibrating at the frequency of a higher octave.
The six of swords is an indication for us to look inside. As Carl Jung said, “Your vision will become clear when you look into your heart [being the cross in the center of the card]. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”
I can find no better interpretation of the number 6 than from the crystalinks.com, a site that I frequent, that has a vast array of amazing knowledge.
“The number 6 corresponds to the six sided Seal of Solomon and the Merkaba. The Merkaba is the divine light vehicle allegedly used by ascended masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. "Mer" means Light. "Ka" means Spirit. "Ba" means Body. Mer-Ka-Ba means the spirit/body surrounded by counter-rotating fields of light, (wheels within wheels), spirals of energy as in DNA, which transports spirit/body from one dimension to another.” (crystalinks.com)
What do you think?
