This is based on research and information from divine sources... Vitamin C is an antioxidant which goes under the names ascorbic acid, sodium ascorbate among other things. It quenches unwanted and Having plenty of vitamin C will help this process greatly, either by having foods high in vitamin C, or supplementing it (do not use pills with sweetners in, go for either sugar-sweetened chewable, non-chewable. Sainsburys vitamin C if you are in the UK is a good start. If your body tells you to have some, then do. For starters, 1 pill or glass of orange juice or an orange in the morning and same at lunch and in the evening, if you are using 500mg pills will equal to 1.5g of vitamin C. If you are having too much vitamin C (for me over 10 grams will do this) you may get diarhea as the body just flushes out the excess, which is non toxic unlike some other vitamins can be if taken in excess. So for this reason use vitamin C containing pill only. If you feel like taking more than the 3 pills a day, take more. Do as your body asks, consult your guidance if unsure. You might get a day where you don't feel you need any, or a day where you feel you need 3 - 4 grams worth... listen to your body. Vitamin C in large ammounts is very good for colds and other infections as it enables the body to fight them more effecently by removing unwanted byproducts. Personally i sometimes take around 5 - 8 grams, sometimes only 2. Now this is only to protect myself but this information is used at your own personal risk. I am not responsible for any injury which may occour from using this advice and if in doubt, consult a doctor before proceeding. Do some research, this vitamin will help alot! :) Do not try 'megadosing' with other vitamins or multivitamin pills, some vitamins are toxic when taken in excess. You can find information on the internet about vitamin C megadosing. Feel free to comment :) |
