Unifying psyche and spirit is my ongoing work. The past two years I've been presenting my theoretical work on psi-phenomena at meetings of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and their on-line conference PsiberDreaming. These theories contribute to our understanding of "sacred sites" (the most well known is Stonehenge) that have been investigated by people like Paul Devereux and Stanley Krippner. The next step is to find funding to organize an experiment to test the long-standing belief that "sacred sites" influence our dreams for prophecy and transpersonal insight. I've also been involved in the evolving movement known as ecopsychology, which brings this work of unifying psyche and spirit into our daily lives. I'm currently exploring the history of ecopsychology and some of its potential applications in psychotherapy. My colleague and former professor Ralph Metzner is currently examining the links to alchemy. Eventually this work will include a better understanding of theories of personality and motivation that will help to create a coherent, co-evolutionary, sustainable worldview.
