Hello and welcome to my virtual home! I am honoured to be a part of this community and am pleased that you have arrived here! I am Emelar of the Light, the Mystic Light Rider. An intuitive healer, medium, spiritual counsellor, metaphysician, author, scientist, woman, mother, sister, friend and human being. I am of mixed Welsh, Cree, Sioux, French and Dutch heritage. My path is not defined by any one way: I have a unique perspective that has been created throughout my many lives, and is heavily influenced by yogic philosophy, Cree/Sioux spirituality, Buddhism, Celtic traditions, and my spirit guides. I have been working with the light as long as I can remember, and have learned many things on my own, directly from Spirit. I have also trained with many exceptional teachers. Through these experiences I have become a reiki master, and metaphysical counsellor. I hold a bachelor's degree in geography/environmental studies, a bachelor's degree in metaphysics, a metaphysical minister certificate, and an associate's degree in biology. I am currently working on a masters degree in metaphysics at the university of sedona. My master's thesis focuses on the benefits of meditation for children. In addition, I am developing cirriculum to introduce children to meditation in schools. I am also working with ADD/ADHD kids to get them off medication by teaching them breathing techniques and medititation. My goal in life is to help people find the light for themselves, and I am progressing toward creating a sanctuary for seekers here on vancouver island. My life is a blessing for which i am eternally grateful.
