Dear Friends

Join us at the Third Gathering of Light and Unity on the 11 June – 13 June 2009 at Metzukei Deragot beach, an oasis of beautiful fresh and saltwater pools on the banks of the Dead Sea. This area is easily accessible for both Israelis and Palestinians who can come from across the West Bank without special travel permits; it is a unique and natural meeting place
The vision is for friends from Israel, Jordan and Palestine to come together in nature amidst difficult times, to share, connect, reenergize, and unite in prayer, light and action

So what are we going to do these days
We have a very interesting program that includes teachings by sheikh buhari , water and sound therapy, energy workshops, music , listening circles and fun interactive games
The success of the meeting depends on the mutual cooperation of all participants so we are happy to share the tasks involved with you. Attached is a list of working groups. Anyone who sees fit to add his name to any group, please enroll with your full name & phone no. so that we can contact you
What to bring? At the site of the gathering there are NO facilities so make sure to bring lots of water, tents, sleeping bags, food to share (we are making a common kitchen, so please see the food list and tell us what you can bring), firewood, torch, candles,mosquito repellent, a swimming costume (please take care to be modest), towel, long sleeved cotton shirts to wear in the water therapy workshop, dish and cup for eating/drinking and musical instruments, love and peace.
How to arrive? Coming from Jerusalem/Jericho on road 90, towards the Dead Sea, stop at Metzukei Deragot, just before the check post, walk down the beach. By public transport, bus no's 486, 421 487 from Jerusalem and bus no 444 from Eilat stop at

There are organized rides for those coming from Palestine, please call your local contact for more information about this. For those coming with private cars, we cannot be liable for them
