When I was a little kid, my sister turned me to P.O.D. and I always listened to her p.o.d. satellite cd, I didn't even know it at the time, but their songs are all about opposing the systems of control. It had such a profound effect on me even since I was a kid, not knowing what the messages meant but was drawn to it cause there's messages in them.

I think it's awesome they can be so hardcore, so 'in style' and still have these messages in their music trying to wake people up. their album satellite is old which is the cd i have which has this song.

To me, this has messages coded deep in the lyrics.

-this is me, i'm always the same, virus in the system, crash the mainframe: inside man figuring out the system and how it works to inform the people

uprise, fall in line, roll with the pack or get left behind..... revolt and unite for the cause.

Take down the regime, break the trend: free ourselves from free enterprise taking over and from thought control.

Trust what you know, soon enough they'll choke.-

I just think Payable on death (pod) is really clever in how they incorporate these messages in the kind of music with the style that appeals to the younger generations especially.
