I have been amazed after realizing that our "world" around us (or our perception of it) is so affected by our creative thoughts that we feed it. Our own world is exactly as we choose to perceive it. We may see it as a terribly cruel place..... so then everywhere we look we see justification for that which we have decided is the truth. The mind likes to see proof to validate its "truth". It seeks to verify our claim of it because this idea is what we hold in consciousness, thereby creating what we expect to see.

Thoughts are "energy" and they, like other forms of energy, have creative potential. "We reap what we sow". We get what we prepare for". We somehow have been created so that what we hold in our consciousness is attracted to us. I see it everywhere I go. Once you become aware of it, you see how it seems to affect us all. I ask inside and this is the answer I get. I want to know. (Sometimes I forget). It is difficult to control your thoughts sometimes, but this idea makes it sound like an important thing to learn to do, doesn't it.

Let's say that we are driving in traffic and we notice how everyone is in a hurry and they are all so rude... how they all are cutting in on each other as they hurry to work. These people don't care about anyone else but themselves. Well that is easy to decide for most, but sometimes I notice how everyone in traffic lets me into their lane and I wave and smile at them and then at the store a guy holds the door open for me and then gives me a smile and it makes me feel great as I start my day.....This last part is the scenario I choose and I try to look for it and then I see it everywhere I go. On a good day, when I don't get trapped in the web of "low-conscious human-ness, I choose to see the world as a wonderful place full of harmony and I see it everywhere I look.

I know it is not everyone's Idea of perfection here, but we chose to be here so we can learn. In the 3D world we find ourselves in fields of opposites. There are things here that that don't exist on the higher planes. There are opportunities for experiences here that can't be manifest on those higher levels. We have the opportunity to learn that we, even on this plane, can be creators and have an effect on our own reality. We are creators and although some just don't see it yet, it is something that we might try to understand. Although I am just another "little one" and have not yet mastered life on this physical plane, I have noticed how the way I think seems to affect my own personal reality. This is the way that goal setting and "affirmations" seem to work. I have seen it help others become successes at that which they choose to become. I am still learning all this myself, but I have seen that, for me, it is manifesting to some degree. I sit back as the world puts me on a show. I find it most entertaining, but since I have noticed that I have a choice, I choose to see this place as a wonderful learning experience. I try to make the best of everything (even events that sometimes could be judged as "bad" somehow will have some "good" in them....somewhere deep inside...) We just must judge everything mustn't we. We must just try to realize in this learning environment that we are all right where we need to be to learn just that which we need the most.

I want say again that I am a spiritual being, experiencing a human existence here and I have days which I forget all the universal laws that I so eagerly study. I keep trying to put this knowledge to use in my life since it is has little value until you use it.
