A phenomenal read. Here is the background info on it:

All that is needed to change the world is for people to change their minds. Unlock Reality (UR) is a book everyone should read. Explaining the Construction of the Universe in simple terms that anyone can understand, it has been lovingly passed from hand to hand for years, only recently becoming available to all as an eBook. Despite Baptist's protests succeeding in having its paper publication abandoned, Atheists and Theoretical Physics buffs spending much energy trying to discredit it, and failing, today you can get a copy of this warmly written, (ever so slightly subversive), book to read for yourself on your PC.

Below you will find a list of points summarizing some useful interesting information about the Manuscript "Unlock Reality (UR)".

Point One:
Unlock Reality is a book in manuscript form that is just over 100 pages long (122 A4 pages, printed on one side – double line spaced – with the last 10.5 pages being footnotes).

Point Two:
There is somewhat of a mystery over UR’s exact origins, no one here is really sure if it is an old/ancient text that has been revamped, or a modern text written entirely in the last century. No one knows which country it might have come from, which language it started life in, who or exactly how many may have written it.

Many theories abound and many people express certainty that they know – though between you and me, I can tell you that it does not really matter a jot

Point Three:
UR does not have an author listed, though it is widely rumoured that five main people are involved with its production. Two are reported to be Monks of some sort, one a Metaphysics Professor working in a British University and two other gifted people with no specific qualifications. Even a Native American Chief and George Harrison have been sited as having leant a hand, though this has never been confirmed.

Point Four:
Unlock Reality has been briefly descried as “one of the most unusual publications on the planet, with the potential to produce a shift in perception that could change the course of history and guarantee the survival of the human race. It explains the Construction of the Universe in simple terms that anyone can understand”.

Point Five:
All those concerned with proof reading and the production of UR have had to sign confidentiality contracts. In addition all copies request that readers do not quote/copy from it, or give away it conclusion - no quotes have appeared anywhere.

Point Six:
It is being prepared for world release by the holder of UR’s copyright - the Individuals Self Discovery Trust (ISDT) a.k.a. ‘The Trust’. There is also a group trying to prevent it getting out who go by the name of The Brotherhood of the Eternal Light (BEL).

Point Seven:
50 copies were released by ISDT via Bookcrossing.com in 2005. They were mainly found by people on park benches in London England.

These copies are still highly sought after – having been the source of an International Book Hunt - many of those original copies have made journeys right around the world.

Point Eight:
It was set to be released in 2006 by a publishing house called ‘One World Publications’. They dramatically cancelled their plans with no explanation. At the same time the BEL indicated that they were responsible and claimed a victory for their Anti UR Campaign.

Point Nine:
Thousands of people who had been waiting for the world realise of UR started a campaign and lobbied ISDT to make more copies available. ISDT reciprocated and made 7,000 manuscript copies available. These copies sold out in less than six days...

...they have now become nearly as sought after as the original 50 bookcrossing.com copies.

Point Ten:
There is a project to place copies of UR permanently in key locations around the world, including the Grand Canyon and Tower Bridge. There is meant to be a copy being held by Tibetan Monks for safekeeping.

The Dalai Lama (pictured below) and the Arch Bishop of Canterbury (also pictured below) have both been presented with copies of Unlock Reality (UR).

"The Archbishop of Canterbury became the latest high profile religious leader to be invited to read the mysterious and elusive manuscript Unlock Reality (UR) that has had the Internet in a frenzy over the last year.

The Archbishop was sitting for a portrait being painted by St Martins Collage Fine Arts Graduate Ben Rogers when he was presented with the manuscript, in his private study at Lambert Palace on 09/05/06.

He briefly thumbed its pages and like the Dalai Lama before him, the Archbishop was told that he could not take it with him, but that a special copy would be presented to him prior to its world release, giving him the chance to be one of the first people on the planet to give UR a proper read.

As he is well known for his integrity and outspokenness on a wide variety of issues, it will no doubt be interesting to hear his comments on this funny little book that seems to be cutting across religious boundaries and appealing to young and old alike, around the globe, who are gathering in their thousands on the Internet in anticipation of UR’s world release."

Point Eleven:
There has been quite a storm over whether or not Unlock Reality (UR) is a real book or some kind of grand international hoax; ironic for something that has sparked much debate over the nature of reality. While impossible to prove UR’s ‘reality’ to those who think it’s not real – maybe the rare photos on the topic linked to below may help…

Revisiting Point Three:
In recent times there has been some speculation that a ‘Helen Grant’ (an author who has a page on Myspace) is the author of Unlock Reality. This has not been confirmed and when asked she has denied being the author – though she appears to be a fan of the book as she has written some very nice things about it.

This has been suggested, as Helen Grant is also the name of the Trustee of ISDT who brought the much-documented court case against Google involving Unlock Reality (UR).

It has also been speculated that a Robert Williams is the author of UR. This has been suggested, as he is also a trustee of ISDT who made a few public statements during the period that UR was realised as an eBook.

It has also been that suggested I (Tony Hartly) am the author of UR as I worked with ISDT on the footnotes and run this fabulous group.

Lastly, the ‘Group Leader’ of the massive Myspace ‘Unlock Reality UR Here Now’ group, called ‘Self’ (known to many as the affectionately as ‘The Monkey’) has also been suggested as a possible writer of UR.
