you can have a simple life

Some years ago I was working as a Design Engineer and Technical Author for big UK companies. I was made redundant 4 times. The first 2 times were devastating because we had to pay a mortgage, bills and credit cards. The last time my then wife had terminal Overian cancer I rode on my motorbike to work which was in Lambourne UK.
As I crossed over the Marlborough Downs near Avebury UK there was the most beautiful sunrise, I was looking at some cropcircles and I felt so happy.
I said to myself: 'Wilf your life is changing today'. It did; as soon as I arrived at work, my Boss called in another three colleques and we were made redundant.

Also the stress involved in my job, travelling, going to usless meetings etc. I had enough. I wanted a simple and contented life.
When I met my wife Sarah (sarahk) we moved to the French country site, the first years were hard because we had to re-adjust to a new but exciting way of life.

We own our place, live with our animals and we just earn enough cash from our work to pay our way.
We also took ourselves out of the loop of an ever recurring cycle. We did forsee of what's happening today.
We broke the cycle of fear.
Today life is good and I and Sarah are grateful for all we have and is great to share this and all our love with family and friends.
