Ian Gardner was born on the 20th February 1934 in Sri Lanka, then Ceylon. He moved to Australia in September 1969. From childhood he had an enquiring mind and an innate interest in the supernatural. Since 1986, nineteen years of meditation, "searching within", reading and revelations have culminated in the book The Milk Is White which brings together the teachings of the major Masters together with his own insights. When he completed the first part of The Milk Is White he felt as if he had in his hands a beautiful, white, fantail pigeon which he could release into the sky to come to roost where it would. This ‘release into the sky’ became possible in 2005 when his daughter and a friend decided to subscribe to his entry to the Internet.
The book and his subsequent writings are available free.
Please see, in my profile, the book web site URL [Ian's other URL in the left panel on this page] where more information is available. At the web site click on the tab THE BOOK for information on downloading the book and/or reading it and The QVF III* on the web.
When reading the book please note the quotations in the pages leading up to the contents page: they are significant.

PERCEPTION AND THE ESSENTIAL TRUTH OR REALITY.
It is often said that the Truth or Reality is dependent on the perception of the beholder and is therefore a variable. This is only true up to a point as illustrated in the quotes below:
1. Along the way there are many springs for us to quench our thirst for knowledge and all are from the same source within the mountain. As we climb we experience the Truth from our peculiar standpoint at the time. However, since there can be only one ultimate truth, when we reach the top we all come to the same pinnacle of knowledge and state of being. Another analogy of the Truth is that of a multifaceted diamond. Imagine one hanging in the middle of a group of people. Each person has a different perspective depending on such things as light intensity, angle of reflection, the height of the person, their distance from the diamond and so on. If they choose to move around they will encounter varying aspects of the stone as well as varying aspects of the light. Yet, the stone and the light essentially are unchanged.
2. The "Point" of Reality. In The Milk Is White the souls' Earthly journey is likened to a climb up a mountain peak, with each one taking a different path. It is stated that, because a peak ends in a point, and at a point there can be only one Truth, all souls find the same Reality, the one Truth. Some may dispute this conclusion and state that there can be more than one truth at the top so let us look at the Reality: The disputant would be correct from the perspective of practical science because any peak consisting of matter has as its very top an infinitesimal particle of matter which, no matter how small it is, has a top surface, and any surface can hold more than one thing. However, although this would be the reality in the material world and an understandable perception of the mind, the fact is that when we bypass the mind and its limitations, we find that mathematically, or according to theoretical science, there is an absolute point. Therefore, in this context, that which is found at the absolute point is the Absolute Reality - just one Reality or Truth.

DREAM INTERPRETATION:
After keeping a dream journal and analyzing about 300 dreams of my own plus some for others over many years I started a dream interpretation group at the Gaia Community which has been running for 2 - 3 years and currently has over 600 members. I have noticed such a group here and will drop in as time permits to help where I can. :-)
MY SALUTATION:
() denotes one's two hands placed together in front of one's chest. This is a S.E. Asian salutation of farewell or greeting expressing respect, honour and humility accompanied by a bow of variable depth. With this I salute you. [Note: This symbol may be incomplete when posted. The two parentheses should have a line below and touching them.]

Ians Dictionary/New Words Coined.

1. In the past, so as to differentiate between mental activity [commonly called thinking] and thinking [by which I mean those thought processes that do not involve the mind], I coined the word mentivity. Today, as a result of something new that is happening with me, I have coined another two words.
2. To differentiate between the Sanskrit darshana generally meaning anything seen and sometimes meaning something not seen with the eyes; a vision which has many interpretations; an epiphany, which implies something instigated by God, and a realisation which has a mental as well as a spiritual connotation, I have coined the word neopt, pronounced nay - opt, and its various derivatives, from old German and Latin. See below.
Ians Dictionary
Words:
blisstasy n. That spiritual 'quality of being' or 'state of being' which is beyond the physical/mental (emotional) experience and surpasses joy, bliss, love et al.
blisstatic adj.
mentivity* n. mental activity commonly called 'thinking'.
ment* v. think; adv. to think; n. a thought.
menter* n. one who ments.
menting* v. thinking.
moul n. soul or mind - since I neopt them to be the same.
neopt (nay-opt) vb. neopts, neopting, neopted. to see without the eyes. [from ne (D) + ops (L) = no + eye]
neoption n. something seen without the eyes.
neopter n. one who sees without the eyes.
neoptic adj. a neoptic incident, occurrence etc.
[*Note: The word mentality, meaning state of mind, already exists in the English language.]
Phrases:
Emotional self-sufficiency. Unlike where all emotional needs are met this phrase describes that state of being where there are no emotional needs. In other words where emotion is concerned a state of balance/harmony exists.
