Creating:

I'm going to school this fall for a 12 month full-time program in Digital Photography. The rough plan is to become a freelance photographer and travel the world taking pictures! But, whatever happens is fine by me - I know it will be the right thing for me :)

Awakening:
My spiritual growth really started to bloom when I was 16 and left the church. I had a desire for spirituality in my life, but the dogma didn't sit well with my rebellious side. I began an independant study of religion and spiritual teachings from all over the world. This is an endlessly fascinating topic to me, and I love to learn about the differences and inherent similarities in world spiritual beliefs.

I am here to be reminded, everyday, of my essence, and to find other people who live in essence so that we can remind eachother. :)

Things have changed a lot for me since I was last active on this site. I have spent the spring and summer not working. What an opportunity! To reflect, to dream, to plan out a fantastic future. Or at least, the beginning of one. I think I may have gotten carried away with the planning last time - life just doesn't work that way, which is wonderful! If we always knew what was coming, would we ever really be happy? I know it takes more than that for me to stay engaged. So here's to life; drink it up, drink it down, but don't waste a single drop!

On a lighter note, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, camping, reading, writing, photography, motorcycles, fast cars, cooking interesting food, and lots of other stuff too.

My Mission Statement

I intend to love, respect, trust and honour myself and everyone around me. I intend to keep track of my feelings and behaviour, and what they indicate is happening with my essence. I will give myself permission to play and be creative. I need to live my truth - what I resonate and believe in, not what everyone else expects of me or wants of me.
Life is a grand adventure - I'm not going to miss out!
I will let go when I need to. I will allow my essence to guide me.
