Tarot the Mysterious!

The Tarot pack consist of seventy eight cards. The 56 Minor Arcana which can be considered as a 'pack of playing cards' The 22 Major Arcana that can be considered as "Books"Interpreted as - one card holds as much information as a book! Many distinctive and imaginative cards have been developed and designed with symbolism in every aspect through the ages. All depicting and interpreting in their own sweet way with *you* as their guest.

Respect for self is paramount when dealing with this mysterious interaction! I would never in a million years be able to do the history of the cards justice or an injustice come to think about it! so, I will not. What I will do is, explain my frame of working and give you an exercise to develop your own intuitive tarot interpretations, called

My Experience

I started reading/playing with Tarot when I was 9/10 ~ The cards that I
first encountered were playing cards.. And I really loved the "Joker"/The"Fool"
mostly the cards had no pictures on them, although the royal cards had funny looking people looking at me.
Tarot usually these days, are experienced as very distinctive, thought provoking,
colourful and artful paintings.

The cards I experienced, had numbers and patterns on them.
Situations were happening around me where people were playing cards a lot.
This used to happen often. (Out of these situations came some uncanny"Coincidences".)
Look! >>> When we play a normal card game we know don't we?
that the queen of spades looks a bit harsher than the queen of hearts! even if it is just darker in colour.
If we all didn't, I did..... I always wanted to have the red queens.

The black queens somehow always looked so... well... so SERIOUS. Mind you, those red queens could be a little sharp on the senses at times. On my path of Tarot I have experienced a spectrum of colourful energy,
insight, inspiration and stress whilst embarking upon trying to read my own
cards objectively. (I know more learning is to come, I do already have a life long learning ethos about my Whole picture, do you get my drift!?) Still los more to learn of that I am sure

Another example,

the 5 of hearts was not as good as the 6 of hearts. WHY?
Because it is a bigger number! EH?!! Alright I was only a kid, and the bigger numbers looked better.!

The Jacks to me, looked like naughty young men with ego's.

The Kings!? Well the Kings are another "story"

Striving is said to be inherent in all humans that mature and the nervous system get stronger...
( Kundalini energy could be linked here with the nervous system getting stronger, this striving may draw you to
sense the things it is you need along your chosen path of life.

A Tarot Challenge? Tarot links in to the big picture.
It is not a easy task having gifts that others feel they have not. But only if they were to search their inner souls, would they, find what it is you I and they already have and know*

I talk about that which is inherent in humans and that it is intrinsically good. I feel that learning to interpret Tarot is a little like the striving to become WHOLE! to be who we are meant to be and where we feel safe and happy on our continuing path of life. Movng out of the comfort Zone in comfort.

Try this.... It will take you 78 months as it did me! And then I started again and again...

Each card has its own interpretation and history. And like I said above I could do anything but regurgitate information before me, so I will not. Whilst you endeavour to reach for resource and information about Tarot choose a card a month and leave it on the wall where you can see it. If this is not appropriate put it on your person where you will frequently see it, even better if you can! like your wallet of filafax. Sense your experiences from this day on.

Please carry on using your "Earthly" senses such as sight, hearing, smell and touch because we do not
want you touching down to earth after you have bumped into a lamp post whilst not being alert and having one wits about them!

INTUITION

It will be your INNER~TUITION that you will be developing. You may also
notice peoples attitude changing toward you....

Who knows what you may experience?

We all have our unique and intimate relationship with the Tarot
and Universe. If at any time you feel over whelmed by negative energy (and
we may or may not deny the existence of such energies - sit calm and affirm that
you are intrinsically good - also affirm in your imagination if you can this following affirmation

'Halt does the Darkness Before my Cross of Light'

Sit quietly and imagine you are a blazing ultra violet light and affirm in your
heart and say;

'I am an enthusiastic and salutary visionary and I have an uncontaminatable essence. I make anticipation of future success my motivation'.

These are my affirmations and I share them with you gladly.

Your Journey

Your journey through the Tarot pack may be a long, joyous and at times an
arduous task. If anyone reading this thinks not, then you have been very
fortunate and will make composed and centred guides when the time is "right". I am sure.

For those of you who yet have not experienced the Tarot - hold down your sarongs, as it is a fantastically wild pendulum of activity, excitement and euphorically "funny" adventure.

Your Cards

Treat your cards as you will and respect the learning they offer. Respect
you yourself! And Postiviely Regard others.

You may choose any card to start with but may only do one card a month.. Good fortune to you and your cards my friends ~ I will sense you in the Ether!

In conclusion to the question what dio I think about Tarot and Tarot reades....Tarot is there as a tool to be taken out of the 'toolbox' and made use of uniquely and integrally by all Tarot Readers at all lvels the skill comes with practice.
