    I really not intending to upset anyone and their beliefs at all; this is simply my thought and my expression!

    We have people that have eaten whale and their ancestors for many, many decades before them. Why should we protest their right of passage? Who are we to stand up and say it is not right! We have come a far way since these acts where done.

    We have come to a realization on what affect it have on the delicate balance that our earth has. In over turning that balance we do not know what affect it will have on our earth and not to mention us. We are all intertwined together as one… Times have indeed changed instead of the elders going out in man powered boats to kill what was needed for their tribe to eat. We now over harvest anything and everything to a point that a once alive river system that always had plenty to give now is barren and lacks of any living things.

    Many still give thanks and some do the right thing but many people do not. Instead of canoes we now have high powered boats that spew out toxic chemicals into the air and sea. They do so much damage and thats without killing anything living yet! Pointing a finger at one race is naïve and not the answer because we still need to improve our way of life. Just because a few in a certain race do the killing does not mean we have to blame them all.

    Saying that I believe we can stop those who still whale or at least stop the amount of killings that is done to give time for recovery of the species. The claims are that whale meat and Dolphin meat are for consummation, then why are so many killed? The Dolphin meat has been found to have high quantities of mercury! The whale meat is reported to be piling up in stores because people are simply not buying as much as what is being harvested! What is left over is being canned for dog food! Then there is the science-based research claim, no one can shed light on this so called research. Scientists world wide have said there is no possible new research that has not already been done… Iceland has stopped whaling because there is simple no market in it! We should all do what we can to make a difference…

    This whole topic is like the world against Japan. This is simply not the case, a few people that want to make money from doing this and not caring for the animals themselves are to blame! Join groups that are doing something, meditate and envision the whales safety and for those who are putting their physical bodies in harms way for the whale’s safety! It is not a matter of what group is doing what, we are all fighting for the same cause.

    Live in harmony with the earth and take only what is needed and remember always to give back to this earth that holds us all!
