Going Home
Going Home
Have you ever had the feeling that you’ve lived this life before?
Something known, without your knowing, something seen, you never saw?
A face, a look, a loved one, so familiar that it seems,
that the space which passed between them isn’t just amongst your dreams.
How many times I’ve travelled to a far off distant land
where memories come flooding in like swirling grains of sand.
There’s a vision of a finer world, a place of joy and peace,
where all the troubles of this world will forever cease.
A land where you are welcome, whatever race or creed.
A land where there is plenty, where there is no sense of need.
Each cherished new arrival is greeted with delight –
There is joy round every corner – surprise at each new sight.
There are buildings – oh so beautiful! Landscapes – oh so fine!
And then the realisation – WE ARE INDEED DIVINE!
No mortal could create this place, no human mind conceive it –
such wondrous scenes, I can’t explain – it’s hard just to believe it!
The beauty that surrounds me now – the sense of love so true,
I think Pure Love is willing me – to pass this on to you!
The strange thing is, Love’s always there, but somehow we forget,
then we return to our dear Earth, to try again – our lessons set.
Right now a distant memory is stirring in us all,
A Wake-Up call is sounding out, we’ve done the work –
learned through ‘our fall’.
Grace has returned, and we shall find - a ‘place’ is saved for all Mankind.
