An open mind is really important when you work with a client. My clients come with many different symptoms. One lady has diabetes and was losing some of the pulses in her feet. After two treatments she had an appointment with the nurse the next day who was very happy with all the pulses in her feet. This same lady had really pronounced black veins all over her feet and legs with three treatments her feet and legs became white again.
Another client had tennis elbow in both arms with one treatment the pain went away and 18 months later is still gone. Shoulders seem to respond very quickly to sound therapy one client had had an operation which initially cured the problem the pain returned and she was told she would have to live with it because there was nothing else they could do. One treatment the pain went and has stayed away for over a year.
These are just some examples of clients I have worked with I used my voice and tuning forks to create harmony within the body. The treatment takes around an hour The only requisite for treatment is somewhere quiet.

Give Your Home A Spiritual Cleansing!
Have you ever noticed the difference in the atmosphere, between say, places that have been empty for a long time, and peoples homes? Or maybe one room in your house makes you feel uncomfortable if you spend too much time in it.
Any place that has been a host for human activity, whether that is living in it or working in it, retains a certain amount of residual energy from those activities. Not all of this energy is bad.
Take a spiritual meeting place as an example. People meet there every week and the culmination of their psychic energy is stored in the space where they have performed their healings and meditations, and if you went and sat there by yourself afterwards you'd be able to feel the imprint of this on the atmosphere in the room. You'd probably feel uplifted and positive, cheerful and optimistic after you spent a while there.

Negative energy, on the other hand, is something that can make you ill. Especially if you are exposed to it frequently and for long periods of time. Some rooms, or buildings, and even open spaces, have a high concentration of negative energy, which makes it unpleasant to spend time there. There has also been a lot of speculation about the causes of this.
Sometimes there are cases where a high concentration of negative energy is stubborn and takes persuasion to be dismissed.

House Cleansing!
To cleanse a room all you will need is
*White Candles
*Large Mirror
*Smudge Stick
*Meditation Music
(Crystal Bowls, or Tibetan Singing Bowls
will also assist in raising the frequencies).
Place a circle of candles in the middle of the floor and light them, taking care not to burn yourself! Use the mirror to reflect the light from the candles into every corner of the room. Concentration of your thoughts is also important, affirmations should be repeated in your mind that the light from the candles is cleansing any negative energy, and releasing it from the room where it has been concentrated.
Use one of the candles to light your smudge stick, and it is a good idea to have a flameproof dish in which to catch the ash. When the smudge stick is lit, don't blow on it, but trace it in the air so that the end which is lit glows red and gives off lots of smoke. The idea is that the smoke purifies everything that it comes into contact with, so don't open your windows until the smoke has had a chance to penetrate through the walls.

Solving old family problems
Perhaps this time we will be spending long enough sorting things out, that the situations will be healed at last. All it takes is realising that old situations began in the past, and those origins may not be alive in the present any more, except in our memories. It is insisting on looking at memories instead of relating to NOW, that keeps old reactions alive. The thing to notice, when confronting a memory with someone, is whether your emotion is a reaction from the past (habitual and uncontrolled), or an up to date response to the present (awake and intelligent). If you are responding from your up to date self, you will be able to solve old problems and heal old hurts. But if you are still in reaction-mode from the past, you will not be able to change anything. This is all much easier to say than to do!
New relating
I&x2019;ve been hearing of lots of relationships that started in the autumn and turned out to be not what they seemed. Last month the New Moon squared Neptune and we were misreading signs so that they coincided with our ideals or desires. This month, the New Moon squares Uranus and we are grappling with loss, where the lesson is independence. The important thing about being in love is that the other person is triggering our capacity to feel the love that is in us always. We have the opportunity to remain in touch with that feeling independently of the person who started it off. That way, the love that has been triggered flows out to everyone, including oneself
This experience may be not just about relationships, but also the misreading of signs in work or business, or any situation involving our emotional needs or desires. If we make the personal growth and changes, regardless of the outside circumstances, we may find that things are not so bad out there after all. But it is a confusing time, so it's best not to expect clarity for a while.
Last month . . .
Through late November and early December, Mars was very close to connecting with Uranus. We were prone to breaks in the focus of our energy, so that, in the middle of carrying out one activity, we might have a feeling, or thought, that has us branching out towards something new, and forgetting to complete what we were doing. Generally, our minds are ahead of our actions, so perhaps that's why I think I've done whatever it was, and only later discovered I didn't complete the action. The interference could be coming from old emotions 2013; and this is where that New Moon in Scorpio showed up.
Whatever House in your birth chart has Scorpio in it, that would be where last month's New Moon focussed, to complete any unfinished business arising in that area of your life before Pluto (who rules Scorpio) moves into Capricorn in January. Pluto is still in Sagittarius, and it's about getting to the base line beliefs that help to create our life the way it's been. Were we to be completely in the present and open to our lifes process, we would experience much more flexibility and growth. It is our out-of-date beliefs and desires that limit our ability to recognise and follow the opportunities life offers.
This month - New Moon in Sagittarius
Sagittarius climbs the mountain of discovery that leads to understanding. He cannot do this when tied to someone else's beliefs. We can only understand from our own viewing point, so the task is to expand our view to include what others see from theirs, which enables us to understand why they think and feel as they do. This expanded view can only be seen from further up the mountain, and we need to do the climbing - the searching - ourselves from our own inner truth. This New Moon is in harmony with Neptune and the search is for our own spiritual connection, which reveals to us our true highest priorities. Mercury and Chiron point out the healing potential in our communications with each other this month. Our job is to stay calm, and keep focussed on a win-win solution, rather than being right.

Jupiter will be crossing Pluto's position on 11 December in the last degrees of Sagittarius. We will have been feeling this energy pressuring us to do more, be more, achieve more, for some weeks, and it only begins to fade on 19 December, when Jupiter enters Capricorn and we see what's real. It's a window for inspirational ideas to reach humanity, so make the most of it in the area you feel most excited about. It is all there for you and possible - whether the ideas you get are relevant at the moment, or not, will become clearer after mid-December, and January offers opportunities to manifest your plans. Any work your have put in will bear good fruit. If you have been avoiding the work, you may find your harvest is less fruitful.
Jupiter is emphasising this transforming energy like the crest of a wave that washes humanity into the next 230 years or so, the next time Pluto will be in Sagittarius. The crest of a wave collapses on the shore, and we will have to make our own way doggedly after that. That next phase, of Pluto in Capricorn for about 16 years, suggests the transformation of our practical living, the operation of business and finance, and all things material. The ideas that are surfacing now are the tools we will be able to use to live more in harmony with the earth. So allow this energy to take you as far as you dare to think; it is a force from the centre of our Galaxy, and is bringing the seed ideas of a new understanding of life.

Be the centre of that peace and allow your heart to breathe.
Bring to your mind a huge flower,
that opens its petals in front of your face.
Feel its coolness and radiant life opening in your face
and breathe in all that it offers you.

feeling the flow to your fingertips and toes,
and let that life stream out from you into your world.

OPENING THE DOORS OF OUR SPIRITUAL PRISON
Believe it or not, Saturn really is the Father Christmas of the Zodiac. In spite of the impression both signs create, it is not Jupiter, the jolly and jovial ruler of the Fire sign Sagittarius, whose energies provide the background to the build-up to Christmas. However, immediately before Christmas the Sun moves into Capricorn and there is a profound and marked change of energies. Doesn't everybody know about that one? Try to watch out for this change of the energies when Christmas comes round again. On the day of the winter solstice, in the year 2007 on December 22, the Sun moves into Capricorn, where the Earth energies are felt most solidly and heavily. See whether you can sense this energy change, when it sometimes feels as if everything was coming down to Earth with a bump. If you can, then you will be living astrology the way I am doing.
Not without reason does Christmas fall into Capricorn, Saturn's own sign! The aspirations which under the influence of the spiritual fire of Sagittarius rise into the conscious awareness of the individual and collective soul of humankind has to be grounded and find practical expression in the darkest part of the winter and the densest ones of the Earth signs. In the olden days, the jollity and merry-making of Christmas were known as Saturnalia. Deep spiritual symbolism is hidden behind the old custom that only children who have been good and who worked hard receive presents from Santa Claus. To deserve Saturn's gifts, all God's children of the Earth certainly have to toil unceasingly, but they are worth striving for. They consist of the wisdom that can only be found through everybody learning from their own practical earthly experiences. Any knowledge we find in this way becomes our spiritual property and that is the only thing that anyone is ever allowed to keep and take into eternity.
Saturn is the symbol for the Divine aspect of the stern taskmaster, tough and demanding, which every child of Earth needs. For those who willingly attend to their lessons, in the end the loving and caring rewarder aspect of Saturn emerges and pours its blessings over them. Alas, the human soul seems to react with fear to all contacts with the energies of Saturn, but the time has come for shedding all our fears. The only way of doing so is through learning to trust the goodness of life to fulfil all our needs and that the great wisdom and love of our Creator will always provide us with the experiences that are right for us, at any given moment. God and the Angels are waiting to be called upon to help us dissolve the spiritual prison that consists of our deepest, darkest and innermost fears which, individually and collectively, we ourselves created. The doors of this prison are gradually creaking open for us and our world. It is true that initially contacts with Saturn stirs up fear, but this too happened for wise reasons. During past lifetimes, our fears protected us against experiences for which we were as yet unready. Now that we are ready and those fears have to be dissolved again, the energies of Capricorn and its ruler, Saturn, can be tapped into to give us the required determination and strength.
The day of the Suns entry into Cancer and Capricorn marks the solstices. In Cancer we celebrate the summer solstice and in Capricorn, its polar opposite, the winter solstice. Both events are special times when, for a brief moment the Sun in the sky above us appears to stand still, although in reality it never does. As mentioned in The Random Jottings of a Stargazer, throughout the whole of Creation, all is movement and constant changes; nothing ever stands still. At the time of the solstices especially powerful outpourings of blessing and healing energies flow from the highest levels of life into us and our world and everything that shares it with us. In the build-up to the solstices these energies grow more potent from day to day and they continue for some time after. For souls who are already walking the healer's pathway, great cosmic events of this nature create some great opportunities. They can consciously act as channels of light and play their part in the healing of our world, thus dispersing some more of the darkness that still surrounds it.

The Analogy of the River Sponge
You and I are consciousness made visible; we are like consciousness sponges. Divine Consciousness is like the Great River in which all are a part of the flow. Now, the sponge is a part of that river, and is suspended in the flow, becoming one with the flow. It lives out its being through the life-giving reality of the Great River, allowing it to flow through its pores and thoughts as it exists and grows.
Think! What is the purpose of a sponge, if it is not to be filled with life-giving water? Are not sponges meant to be in the water, hold the water, feel the water, and be with the water? It is in their nature.
So you will ask: Why is it that sponges can hold and be of the flow? Why are they so intimately connected to the flow, and there are so many who are not? What makes them so special?!
Now, upon the banks of the Great River we have these such sponges and river-dwellers, who slouch upon the dusty ground and little shelter, as the hot sun burns down from above. They live in misery and unimaginable suffering, because they have found themselves so far away from the flow that they cannot find a way back, or they are too afraid and impoverished to go back.
So when the sponge, upon realising the plight of the bank-dwellers, rises up out of the Great River, and sees for himself those who suffer upon the dusty banks, the purpose of the sponge is to pour out the life-giving water to those who go without, and to convince them it is safe to go back into the water so they can be whole and cared for once again. So they travel and work alongside the river banks, strengthening and uplifting those who go without, and their love is strong and compassionate.
But there are those within the Great River who have become so self-centred that they have turned in on themselves, and become as heavy as stones: and through closing themselves up these sponges fall to be buried upon the bed of the river, with everything else that is low and dense in vibration. When they are like this, not one drop of life-giving water can penetrate the stone-like organism, even though it is all around them, and they may be aware of it they suffer as much as those who lay gasping upon the river-banks.
These people are the righteous, the dogmatists, the religious fanatics, who see with eyes that are shut, and hear without listening to what is really being said. They will not feel water until they open their eyes and their heart.
But look, look to the river, and you will see those who have made the transition before us into ever higher vibrations. They are the ones who have loosened the heavier sponge form and have become as nets, great nets to catch and catching the full glory of the Great Flow; and upon catching it they share it abundantly with those who go without and/or need it the most. They drench them in the reality of their own being. Such people are truly the Christ Consciousness, for they lovingly help other people to see that they are at one the Great Flow, and intimately connected with it.
These netted beings retain their full individuality, whilst embracing their full Oneness with the flow, and their touch extends from bank-to-banknever haltering the flow, but expanding its reach to those who cannot accept the full reality of the Great Flow without an intermediary or guide.
So have compassion for those on the banks of life who need the water so desperately, but do not yet realise how to find it; and bring awareness to those stones who suffer from their own closed natures; and open yourself up to your path of spiritual evolution to a Greater Netted Reality!

Naturally, the power-elites and their minions who apparently believe the world to be their personal play-pen have a great deal to lose should the Under-Classes, that is the ordinary men and women of the world, learn about the subtle nature of the psychic and social control that operates all around them and that is hidden in plain sight.However, the task of revealers is made considerably more difficult due to "consensus trance" and the knee-jerk fear that automatically freezes a mutilated and conditioned human mind. The Servants of Truth know from experience how few friends are won when, and if, they should endeavor to expose the dirty little secrets of religion&x2019;s upper echelons.
Nevertheless, a Servant of Truth is not permanently daunted by the discomfort caused by the presence and proximity of truth. The Servant of Truth is aware that it is easier to cut oneself with a blunt knife rather than with a sharp one and that the price of ignorance is ultimately far greater than the price paid for knowledge. The Servant of Truth knows that freedom is never free and that silence is most definitely consent. He comes to realize that on the great board game of life if he fatally chooses to not occupy the white squares of knowledge he will be manipulated by those who will. I endeavor to demonstrate how they have used religion and politics to further their nefarious anti-human schemes. Our primary intention is to inform the ordinary citizen of certain occult facts that are not even known to those members within the hierarchies of the various secret societies of the planet. The true origins of the Masonic Order, the Knights Templars, Rosicrucians, and the Illuminati, etc, have been carefully guarded secrets and are largely unknown even to those serving within these societies.

It is the goal of my next book, the Irish Origins of Civilization, to provide the reader with an equally interesting and revealing conspiracy against truth that has been in operation since the aftermath of the universal upheaval that brought about the wholesale destruction of Atlantis, Lemuria and the other great continents of pre-history. Our story involves Egypt, but also Ireland, for it was on the Emerald Isle that many of the survivors of the Polar Shift, and subsequent cataclysms, found haven. The majority of scholars believe that civilization arose in Asia Minor, in the Levant, and in Egypt (Africa). However, nothing could be further from the truth. Revealing the Irish origins of civilization will involve exposure of the multifarious ways in which humankind's history has been distorted and manipulated.

The Path of Learning

As more adults turn to studying complementary therapies, it is important to understand the differences between instructing adults and instructing children. Children need discipline, rigid structure and are learning acceptable social behaviours in addition to their lessons. Adults should already have these factors, and more often than not are acquiring knowledge. They are socially conditioned to be independent, and when learning disciplines that may encourage emotional issues to be released, it can seem that some of that independence is given away. It is the job of the adult educator to support and teach without stripping a students of his or her independence.
Most adults studying complementary therapies feel let down by conventional, institutionalised health care and many have had positive experiences with "alternative" therapies. In my years of dealing with adult students, I have found a solid majority to be in the 'I tried everything else, but Reiki worked for me.' These students are most eager to learn, but real life - children, school, work, travel - too often intrudes. It is important for instructors to understand that these students are adults and have unique needs, which often require a great degree of flexibility to accommodate. But that's why instructors are paid - to help their students.
The first thing a student has to do is find the teacher that is right for him or her, and establish comfort with them. It can be five, ten, even twenty or thirty years since they have been in a learning environment, and everything that the teacher can do to establish trust with the student is essential. It can be very intimidating, as an adult, to ask someone else for help and information. It is important for the student to understand that they are not declaring themselves incapable, they are asking for information. It is equally as important for the teacher to understand and accommodate this factor.
As more and more holistic therapies become commonplace and, in my experience, as Reiki training becomes mainstream, it is time for teachers to set the bar higher and ensure that they work to the unique needs and time requirements of their adult students. Teachers have the very special responsibility of passing both information and experience to others, and it must be remembered that we will never know just how many people our teachings will touch - and it is for the better.

Strong buoyant feelings of love and happiness hit me as if on a wave as I entered the large hall of the Casa De Dom Inacio (Johns healing centre and Spiritual Hospital in sunny central Brazil.) Amidst hundreds and hundreds of people , from all over the globe.and all walks of life , with all different beliefs , sitting in white or light colours.humbly and expectantly waiting their turn to see the healing medium.. I felt a deep in my bones that I had FINALLY found the place where I would heal and also feltvery much at home and welcome. Settling down on a chair to await my turn , I focus my attention on why I have come here
feeling all at once ; happy , excited , apprehensive , humbled and full of hope. The healing sanctuary sits peacefully nestled at the very end of the small and rural village of Abadiania , which is a one and a half taxi ride from Brazilia airport.and sits on reportedly , the largest crystal plateau in the world. ( John of God was guided to build his sanctuary here by the Spirit entities that work through him , as it is known that such a large mass of crystal, forms a powerful base for transformative healing energies and therefore speeds up and intensifies the deep healing processes that occur here.)
Since John was very young , he has been taken over by benevolent and elevated Spirit entities , as a very powerful and highly effective Channel in healing many , many people. He has dedicated over 45 years to this , often at great personal cost to help thousands upon thousands with many forms of serious diseases . such as cancer and aids , many of which have been so called medical write- offs and hopeless cases.)
Although there is nothing like a guarantee , there IS an incredibly and unexplainably high success rate of healings here. Many travel thousands of miles to get here. John of God is perhaps one of ( if not the ) most powerful healing channels on the planet today. Perhaps his background as a poor farmer has served him well in being able to withstand and sustain such a tough mission. He is a big, strong and simple man.with an indomitable spirit and strong faith in God and his given mission, and insists It is not I , but God that heals. ( and as Dom Inacio the Spirit whom the casa is named after said For they who believe no words are necessary .for those who do not, no words are possible! )
On the day of my operation , we are all called into a small room where some mediums are sitting in trance and deep concentration. We are bade to sit and close our eyes, focus on what we need to heal and put our hands on our hearts.
As John of God walks past I feel a surge of pleasant sensations run through me, particularly in the areas I need to be healed, and hear a voice as clear as day, from some place deep inside say , if you would not have come here, you would have had a heart attack! This together with pulls and tugs in my Heart area. This rang alarmingly true. It was all over in a few more minutes and we were all led outside into the bright sunlight and given some post op. advice.
It sometimes happens people go home and have had an x.ray with their orthodox doctor and they have seen evidence of stitches on the operated area that John has worked on! Much to the dumbfoundedness Of their doctor. I felt much better and ever since. In general, since being in Brazil I feel much better in all ways .Many incredible healings have been reported here ..Funnily enough .it is sometimes the ones whom have the most doubt and lack belief in any God or after life and spirit world...the cynical, whom have radical healing experiences.as if Spirit wants to prove something!? Others need more time to learn particular lessons presented by their disease. People come for mental, emotional and spiritual healing .as well as physical.
Ops can be visible ( physical) or invisible. The choice is ours.
Though there is really no difference in result between the two. John often gives an op. or two on stage perhaps to lift the veil of what is possibleand what is not .in our limited perceptions. Cuts& stitches are administered , tumours are removed , crutches are thrown away and there has never been a case of infection , even at the close inspection of Doctors and professionals within scientific organisations , who come to try to prove it a farce, ( even T.V. crews)The work has only proven to be authentic if not illogical! There are profound emotional and spiritual shifts in people.

Data Protection in the UK
Monday 17th December 2007 personal details of three million candidates for the UK driving theory test has gone missing from a "secure facility" in Iowa.
Monday 17th December 2007 The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has fined Norwich Union1.26m for failing to safeguard customers against fraud because of a number of glaring system weaknesses which exposed confidential customer data to fraudsters.
Thursday 20th December 2007 Retailer TJX has finally held its hands up to the exposure of as many as 100m customer credit data records. It is thought to have cost around $2 -$4 Billion to put right. TJX have settled the case for just $40 million.
To be honest I could have filled this entire e-zine with all the data and security blunders from just this week. That business and government departments don't care or understand the need for vigilance concerning your private information is plainly obvious. Whilst the law does indeed need to be tightened as far as data protection goes there are things you can do to protect yourself. Over the next few issues we will go through some of your options to take control back of your privacy, securing your pc or laptop,personal information and protecting yourself against identity theft. We will also include anonymous web surfing and guides on best practice for social networking sites,search engines,cookies etc.

We will start this article with the basics on the Data Protection Act and how you can utilize the act to protect your privacy. We will finish on how to avoid unwanted marketing,phone calls etc.
The Data Protection Act UK
The Data Protection Act regulates how your personal information is used and protects you from misuse of your personal details. Details of the Data Protection Act are quite complex, but at the heart of it are eight common-sense rules known as the Data Protection Principles.
These require personal information to be:
* fairly and lawfully processed;
* processed for limited purposes;
* adequate, relevant and not excessive;
* accurate;
* not kept longer than necessary;
* processed in accordance with your rights;
* kept secure;
* not transferred abroad without adequate protection.
Organizations using personal information ('data controllers') must comply with these Principles.
The Act provides stronger protection for sensitive information about your ethnic origins, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, health, sexual life and any criminal history.
Getting access to your information
The Act, with some exceptions, gives you the right to find out what information is held about you by organisations as the 'right of subject access'. On written request, you are entitled to be supplied with a copy of all the information an organizations holds about you.
The organization may charge a fee for providing the information, up to a maximum of 10 in most instances and up to 50 in the case of manual (i.e. non-electronic) medical records. To see what information is held on you by credit reference agencies costs £2.
Is information held about you?
If you want to know whether information is held about you and if so what it is, you will need to write to the person or organization you believe holds the information. This is known as a 'subject access request'.
You can ask for a copy of all the information held about you to which the Act applies. If you are not sure who to write to within an organization address your letter to the 'Company Secretary'.
Here is an example of a letter which you could use:
Dear Sir or Madam
Please send me the information which I am entitled to under the Section 7(1) of the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you need further information from me, or a fee, please let me know as soon as possible.
If you do not normally handle these requests for your organization, please pass this letter to your Data protection officer or another appropriate official.
Yours faithfully
The right to require a data controller not to use your personal data to market you with products or ideas.
This right is contained in section 11 of the
Data Protection Act 1998
How to prevent unsolicited or directed marketing
Direct marketing is the communication to a particular individual of any advertising or marketing material. It is not confined to the advertising or marketing of commercial products or services. It would include, for example, the promotion of an organization's aims or ideals or a charity or political party making an appeal for funds.
If a specific organisation is targeting you with direct marketing information, you have the right to send that organisation a notice requiring them to stop or not to begin processing your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing at the end of such period of time as is reasonable in the circumstances.
The notice must be in writing and may be in the form of a letter. You should ensure that the notice is dated. There is no particular form of words that you need to use provided that you make clear the following:
* Your identity and the personal data to which you refer
* The nature of the processing to which you object
* When you require the processing of your personal data to cease (and this must be at the end of a period which is reasonable in all the circumstances)
Next steps
The notice must be sent to the data controller. If you are sending the letter by post, it is advisable to send it by recorded delivery. The notice may be transmitted by electronic means provided that the data controller is able to identify you and the personal information to which you refer and the notice is capable of being used for subsequent reference.
You should keep a copy of the notice you send and the reply you receive from the data controller and all other communications, recording the dates of all correspondence. This will be important as evidence in any future consideration by the Information Commissioner or the court. If you do not have the name of a particular individual within the data controller's organisation who you know can deal with your notice, you should address the notice to the 'company secretary'.
*WHAT IS A REASONABLE PERIOD TO SUGGEST FOR THE DATA CONTROLLER TO CEASE OR NOT TO BEGIN
PROCESSING OF MY PERSONAL DATA?
This depends upon the size of the organisation. In the case of a small organisation with a small database it may be reasonable to expect them to deal with your request within 28 days. In the case of a large, multinational organisation which may conduct processing of your personal data in many locations, some of them overseas, it may take longer for the relevant department to be notified. The position will vary according to the circumstances of each case.

RE: Notice under section 11 of the Data Protection Act 1998 to cease or not to begin processing personal data for the purposes of direct marketing. I[insert full name] of [insert full address]require you [to cease] [or] [not

If you do not normally handle these requests for your organisation, please pass this letter to your Data Protection
Officer or another appropriate officer.
Please note that if you fail to comply with this notice, I can apply to the court for an order against you under section 11 of the Data Protection Act 1998.

A data controller must comply with your request as soon as possible. There are no exceptions to this.
Other things to consider. When being served in a shop and the clerk asks for your home address or e-mail or any other personal information. Stop and ask them why they need it. Don't imply consent to use your data by just giving it away. To be honest people probably used to think I was mad refusing to give out personal information when I saw no good reason but there again I have not had my identity stolen and am not overwhelmed with junk mail or spam. Same with web forms, just because they say it is a mandatory field do not just fill it in. Go to a less intrusive site.
