Prayer for Congo, Africa

Reports in the news tell us of heavy ethnic in-fighting in the region of Congo, Africa. Murder, rape, and sexual mutilation are a common and daily occurence. Rape in particular is being used as an instrument of war.

There will be a peace conference held on Sunday Jan 6 which has a "very slim" expected chance to stop the violence taking place. Please say a prayer for its success, and for the victims of this war, and their families. Thank You.
