I just wanted to share a few short stories before I go to bed. I get the giggles just thinking of it.

Last year we had found out that my sister had Hodgkin's Disease. She had a port put into her chest after they did the biopsy. She had gone through three rounds of chemo and 14 days of radiation. She is now in remission, and we have been very blessed. When they took out the port several months ago it was a very hectic day. I had left work early, and drove up to Des Moines from where I live, which is only about 30 minutes away.. and I just made it. She was heading into the recovery room. I had promised her that I'd be there when she got out of surgery. As we were sitting there in the recovery room she looked at me and said that she had looked at the clock as soon as she woke up and it had been 1:55. Then she said that they had her down to go into room 26 and instead they put her into room 29. It took a few minutes for me to realize what had gone one. The number 11 came up twice, and I knew that everything would be OK.

A few days ago I realized I hadn't been seeing 11:11 on clocks and I was feeling kind of bummed. I had been seeing 9:11 or even 1:19 but I missed seeing 11:11. Last night, I had fallen asleep on the sofa, with my earphones on and listening to soft music on my computer. I remember looking at the clock around 10:20 or so and then I was out. Then I woke up from a dead sleep and my eyes went directly to the clock on my computer.. can you guess what I saw? That's right. 11:11

I giggled and smiled. Said a thank you and headed to bed.

Just a month or so ago I realized that every time my sister wasn't feeling good, I wouldn't feel good and I couldn't explain why. We had got to talking and she said she had noticed it to. That whenever I wasn't feeling good, that she wouldn't feel good. Even before this we had been able to since when the other was distressed or hiding something.

Last Monday morning she had gotten into an accident, another car rear ended her. Her head, neck, and back hurt. That afternoon mine started to hurt, and it was worse the next day. I talked to her and she said that she was very sore. Then this morning at work, I grabbed a spoon that was sticking out of a pan that held navy beans in them, to stir it. Before I could say anything, she went "Owww!" just as I was jerking my hand away. The spoon had been really hot.. from the fire and heat of the gas stove.

So needless to say, our powers are growing.
