My Light -- Poem for my Twin Star

It's been over a year since I wrote this blog on my MySpace. It's for my sister, who had been going through a difficult time, and now I want to share it with my Light friends. First is a few paragraphs for my sister, and the poem follows.

No matter what the world brings to your door; the hardships, the craziness, the confusion, the chaos.. I'll always be here besides you. To protect you, to give you strength to fight your battles, and give you love and guidance. For you saved my life and gave me an understanding of why I'm here.

Through this life and many others we have shared together, no one will be able to, nor could they ever, tear us apart and destory the overwhelming love and knowledge we share. Each day is a lesson and a memory that will be forever etched into my soul. I thank God everyday for bringing you back into my life.. because He knew.. without you I wouldn't be as strong as I am now. He knew that you would complete me. I may not know what our Past Lives have held.. but I know that whatever happened we were there together. And we will be together still.. for all Eternity.

My Light

To the East the Sun rose in All Her Glory
To the West the Moon rested in Her Nightly Dreams
From the North and to the South the Sister Winds called

They called upon God to answer their Prayers to bring Life
The Earth was empty of Souls of Love and Change
So God reached down and gathered what he needed.

He gathered the Suns beautiful smile and warm heart
He gathered the Moons every lasting light and peacefulness
He gathered the Sister Winds using her strength and Independence to unite them.

Once God was done mixing he poured the Souls into Earthly Angels
For the finishing touch God gave the Earthly Angels the Pure Light of His Love.
"My Daughters," He spoke. "Forever will you be United. You are One and the Same.
"You will be a beacon on this Earth and you shall never be alone.
"Give your strength to each other. Give your love to one another.
"Forever be the Sister Lights of Heaven's Love."

God gave to them the Light of the Heaven's. His pure Love.
The Sister Winds rejoiced and praised God in All His Glory
Earth would Love and not be empty any longer.

Through the darkness and trying times God's beacon of Love
Lay in the hands of two Sisters. Forever united. Forever Together.
