On Karma

***I realize many believe very differently about Karma and that the old saying should be, "Never discuss religion, politics OR Karma." :-)  So I share this knowing those who resonate with the message will smile, and those who don't will just "poo poo" it and change the channel. :-)  Hey, "change the channel."  In this case that has two meanings!  Ha!***

It is time to see that karma is not a system of "pay back" but more a lesson as old as time..."you reap what you sow." When seeds are planted with the best of intentions and watered with love for self and all, the fruit/flower of that seed is not only delicious and beautiful, but it can go on to feed the stomach, the soul, the eye and the mind. A seed that is planted without the best of intentions and love for all, will bear fruit/flowers that not only are sour, rotten and frail? But that are of no use to anyone. Have you not excitedly cracked open a walnut, only to find it's insides dead, shriveled and surrounded by the webs of spiders? Have you not cut into an orange, to find it's pulp dry and hard? Have you not bought rosebuds that never bloom? So it is with the seeds you plant in life. It isn't so much that there is a plan to "punish" each individual for the bad they have done to others, but instead, the laws of nature can only create it's best, when given "thee" best. So what may look like "pay back" is only "reaping what has been sown." What looks like "what comes around goes around" is only the result of its beginning.

So, stop worrying about "karma" and payback. Instead, make a point to plant your seeds with the best of intentions, love and with the idea that what you "grow" in your "garden" is a reflection of how great a "farmer" you are. Look around at what has sprouted around, in front and behind you. Worry not about what is in the garden next door. As long as yours is always blooming with fresh fruits and flowers? You will always have enough for you, your loved ones and anyone who crosses your path. When your fruits are eaten, and your flowers are enjoyed for their beauty...you have, without words, taught others how to become "gardeners" of their own lives.
