A PHOTOSHOW FOR SOME FUN: A Pinch of Humour in the Face of Emotional Challenges

There's been some talk recently on this site about how to get over the fear of showing one's weakness in front of other people. One of my friends said that there are especially heavy energies this week. Some admit to having had some strong emotional outburst last weekend just like myself... I guess I recognize the inner child in others but maybe not quite so easily in myself. I don't know why I feel so threatened by my companion when it comes to taste in music and movies. How can art, that we both like so much, become such an inflamed subject? All I can think is that we are both dealing with past feelings of not having been accepted for who we are. And worse still, not being understood for who we are. I also get all knotty inside if I feel pressure to like something that someone else likes. I can't say anything nice about it even if I feel it. This no doubt dates back to the time when my mother's opinion on things was all that matters. At times this fear makes me over-assertive and so people close to me may feel that I am overbearingly opiniated. I thought to present a series of antropormich photos I took while in the US just to bring some humor into all this bleakness. I hope you can see what I have seen and find it amusing too :-).
