Connecting with others' energy while meditating

Hi Everyone! Do any of you experience this while meditating alone: feeling like you are joining a group meditation with a crowd of people (though not oppressive crowd) around you or you are joining energy of other people manifesting their own meditation in other places? I experienced this last night and found it very interesting. Just curious.
