PERU Travel log 2

Meeting my new family was so much easier than I hoped for! I felt so comfortable with each and everyone of them, including Tyb, a very soft, gentle bear of a man (he's 6'5!) Tyb had told us that we had all been drawn together as we were part of a soul family, and wow it was like I had known them all!!! Let the games begin!!! We set off for Cuzco, our first destination and a step in getting used to the high Altitude. Our guide met us at the plane, Jorge`, and welcomed us home. All of us were making a pilgrimage to the land of OG (ancient Peru). WOW!! Cuzco was awesome!!but we soon found out what altitude meant!!! the road was swaying a bit, didn't matter, we were quite spacey! Going uphill, well that showed us what the body enjoys about low altitude!!! woooo, we started drinking the inevitable cocoa leaf tea, this is what cures everything in Peru!!!!! and for most of us it did. We had our first official ceremony that night and introduced ourselves, saying why we had answerd the call! When it came to my turn, I spoke of the energies I had bought from the Tasmanian vortex to share with the sacred sites of Peru, next thing I new, A Sirrian guide spoke through me and told of the joy they were feeling at the reunion! wow, the combined energy of this group was bringing all kinds abilities to the surface, others found the same thing happened!!!! The group energy was building!!! By now the excitement was also building, ohhhh this was going to be soooo good!!!!One of the symptoms of altitude difference is sleepless nights! The first night my eyes refused to close!!! I watched a few films on TV that night, such a pity I don't speak Spanish!!! Lonely Planet had taught me a few words, but they were lost in a torrent of other words!! The next morning Jorge' took us to a temple on the outskirts of Cuzco and we gave blessings to mother Earth, acknowledged the Puma and the Condor, and the Snake (totems of Peru). We were then opened from the heart and cleansed by Jorge' we were taken into a cave, the womb of the mother, light came down through a shaft anf then we were reborn into the light by going down a passage, back outside. Caves normally make me feel a bit uncomfortable, but this one made me feel so at home, I didn't want to leave, I was starting to connect with the inner Peru, the one that lives in my records somewhere!!We stopped at another temple on the way back to the hotel, this was the first of many 'unusual experiences' on this trip. 2 years before I had recurring dreams about this place, I 'relived' this whole dream, scene for scene!! hmmmmm!!! Later we hit the markets, we needed a shamans hat and poncho, What a day!!!! I slept that night!!!!
