Spirals of life

A poet friend of mine Ric Masten once wrote
something along the lines of ....

Poets see life sideways.

Most people look down and it's a circle.

If you look sideways it's a spiral.

Life IS a sprial.

WE KNOW THIS SO STRONGLY NOW!!

My friend at dinner lasts night was talking about
religion and awakening.

She had read a book by Karen Armstrong called (?) The Spiral Staircase
(not sure of the title)

Talking about the circular nature of religion, but that

SPIRituality is a SPRIRal Upwards.
