Small Things...
The energy in the city I live in is very dense and it's often a bit difficult to see the lights in people. I have to shield alot so as not to become mired in it. This morning I was reminded, as I have been often lately that the lights are out there even if they're difficult to see at times.
There's a cafeteria at my company that makes the best hummus you'll ever eat. I often have to ask for it because it's sold out. This morning, i went down there and there wasn't any and i didn't want to bother anyone for it so I got a bagel instead. Well the cashier tells me that the guy that makes it made some up for me and was holding it back in the kitchen so noone would buy it. I almost cried. That was so very sweet and unexpected. And you know he gave me more hummus than is usually in the package. I sent an email to the manager thanking him for that small act of kindness.
I also want to tell you about Sunyata and how special he is. He offers phone sessions for free and they are so beneficial to your energy matrix, words really fail to describe it. There are some people you meet where their energy is so 'good' you just want to sit there with them even if they don't say a word. Sunyata is one of those people. It amazes me that he offers so much of himself at no charge. It means alot to me and i'm sure it does to so many others.
I'm sharing all this with you guys because i think sometimes we get so focused on changing the world in a 'big way,' that we forget that all you really need to do is live your life. It's the small things that make the most impact. It's the small things that remind people that this planet is full of love and light even if it's hard to see at times. A smile, a phone call, a hug, a listening ear and even a bowl of hummus can change the world in more ways than we know.
