Why does God send so much energy.....?

Why does God send so much energy down to cleanse my soul but no real methods to help me to deal with the emotional trauma that surfaced? The only method there seem to be is just meditation and centering. When I try to meditate (which I can't because of the emotional stuff that keeps coming up), I feel like hell everyday. I hate him so much.
