How do I select multiple content categories from the list? (when you add blogs for example)

The category list appears as a mini window with a scroll bar and a selection of many categories. You hold down CTRL key and then just use the mouse as normal to select multiple items from the list. Holding CTRL as you click the mouse on the list items. Clicking once will add the line item/highlight it. Clicking again will take it off.
