I have worked in Human Resources for several companies and often was in charge of FUNDRAISING for charities like United Way. One thing I learned was how quickly a small amount of money can GROW when LOTS of people do even just a little bit (nothing is too small or insignificant).

Therefore, when I saw the notice here at Lightworkers.org for $3,000 needed to upgrade so we can "keep on keeping on" . . . I thought, no problem - with membership of OVER 1,000 now - if 1,000 of us donated $3 each then $3 x 1,000 = $3,000!!! Use PayPal or a credit card, it's a piece of cake. For those that do not use PayPal or have a credit card, mailing $3 to the Administrator of Lightworkers.org is maybe a possibility - yes!? I plan to donate my $3+ today - how about you guys!?? Let's DO IT! TOGETHER we can move mountains (faith the size of a mustard seed)!

I don't honestly know much about the www.gatherthewomen.org organization that first posted this a few years back - however, it is a great concept that is timeless!

Reaching One Billion Women:
The Gather The Women Initiative envisions one billion women participating in some way during the week of March 3-8, 2003. Some have said that this is impossible.

Shown below is a mathematical chart complied by Christine Gregory, member of the Gather the Women Guiding Circle, that shows just how easy it is to reach one billion women in just nineteen (19) days.

If only 3 women tell 3 women we have 9. If those 9 tell 3 we have 27. If those 27 tell 3 we have 81. If 81 tell 3 we have 243, etc. By the 19th day we have ANOTHER 1,162,261,467 women!
