Therefore incidents happen where the two vibrations meet half way and people experience angelic presence. We have our down or heavier days, but we also have our up or lighter days. To experience these lighter days more often and for longer periods of time, we need to practice raising our vibration. To achieve this, we quiet our minds and still our hearts and put ourselves in a peaceful space and become what can be called ‘centred’ or focused if you prefer. When we are in this mindset we can go more than half way to meet the angels and their messages will be even clearer and more frequent. The more we practice this ‘centeredness’ the more we are tuned in to these higher frequencies or messages.Our Soul and Higher Self are all beyond our living, breathing physical selves. By establishing a connection between our soul, our higher self and physical being we can have an even stronger link to the angels. This can be done through meditations to link our physical to our soul to our higher self. From there we can link ‘upstairs’.Don’t think of the angels as some mystical being who, as much as you like the concept of angels, you believe only appear, or are heard, or are smelt, or are experienced by ‘chosen people’. They are here to help all of us. The first rule is to ASK the angels. Don’t wait for a time of crisis in your life to ask for angelic help or guidance. Start asking NOW. One of the fun angels that I like introducing people to is the Parking Angel! It really does work, and it is always a fun time for me when someone who is especially sceptical of angels calls to tell me that the parking angel has worked for them. I love the film A Wonderful Life staring James Stewart as an example of this.Guides on the other hand, are spirit or energies as I prefer to call them have incarnated on earth as a human being. You will have many guides around you from your great grandmother to maybe even Ghandi, or even Jesus, and why not Jesus? Why shouldn’t his energy be available to you too? Your guides will come and go and change with each situation in your life. However, there is a very different feeling to the energy present when it is your guide to when it is one of the angels. Your angels are also your ‘etheric bouncers’ and will only allow guides who will serve your highest purpose into your life. There are signs when you have an energy presence. Some of you will have experienced the waft of a perfume, or the smell of a cigar of a deceased relative. The same is true of angels- except the perfume has a very distinct floral small akin to rose or jasmine. Who can resist smiling and feeling good at such perfumes? Angels have been known to leave their calling card – no, not their name and contact number – but with a simple white feather. You will spot these feathers simple because they are left in such unusual places. Then the penny drops, as to why you have spotted this feather, as there is no explanation as to how this feather got to where you found it, as there is no physical source for the feather in the vicinity.On a personal note, I remember leading an angel workshop and we were having a problem getting the music system to play for one of the meditations. We asked for an ‘electrical angel’ so sort it, and lo, the music began to play. I thought I would give it a personal go and asked for a stopping smoking angel. When we had our tea break, I lit up a cigarette. When I went to use the ashtray – there was a white feather in it! Needless to say I panicked and backed off the idea of asking for further help. Please don’t make the same mistake as me – accept angelic help when you ask for it. I could have stopped smoking several years ago if I had not let my fear get in the way.At first, this experience might unnerve you, even scare you a little, once it starts happening a little more frequently, who can resist a little nervous laugh or giggle? Have you noticed something so far? Angels love to see you smile, hear you laughing, and looking at peace and contented. What is so scary about being happy?OK, so from these higher realms, who is with you every second, every minute, every hour and every day of your life? The angels know who they are, but your link to them might not be so clear or a little foggy. Some of you may have some idea, but need more confirmation or clarification. Some others of you might have no idea at all, but somewhere deep in your heart or from your soul, or your higher self you just know there is something out there but you just don’t know what it is – sounds like the X-Files doesn’t it? Depending on your beliefs about reincarnation, and it doesn’t matter if you believe in it or not, your GUARDIAN ANGEL is with you from all your past lives and will be with you on all your future incarnations. Alongside your Guardian Angel you also have your PERSONAL ANGEL who is here with you from the very start to the very end of your present life. Your Guardian Angel knows more about you than you know about yourself. Your Personal Angel has a very special and unique assignment, this Angel knows everything there is to know about what your purpose is in this lifetime. So, if you are in the banking profession, you will have a Financial Angel; in the teaching profession a Teaching Angel; if you are a healer. Get the idea?What if you feel you are not doing the right job or profession? Talk to your Personal Angel, find out what their special talent is. What if you are perfectly happy with your job or career, but feel that there are other things you want to achieve in this life? Talk to your Personal Angel – it could be that your job or career satisfies your personal needs – you could have a Charitable Angel and perhaps doing volunteer work of some sort would give you the greater satisfaction than your weekly or monthly pay cheque.So, how are you going to start this dialogue between you and your Personal Angel? How are you going to link up with your Guardian Angel? You need to begin with that centred place I told you about earlier. This can be done through guided meditations and visualisations. If you find this too difficult to do on your own, find a workshop in your area that teaches meditation, or more specifically one, which offers an Angel workshop. Whichever you can find, always keep in mind, not to just accept without question what the workshop facilitator tells you. You must know in your heart of hearts that whatever signs or connections you make come to you personally. You will know when it does, because when that PERSONAL link is made it is quite irrefutable and you just KNOW. It will also be a most wonderful and marvellous experience. Once the ‘link’ has been made it will constantly strengthen in direct proportion to the amount of effort you put into it. The Angels have one rule, which is that they will not interfere with your life choices, or give you any guidance unless you ASK them too. The only time an angel will intercede is if it is a life threatening situation, and your ‘number isn’t up’.Leave your fears about these unseen energies behind you, there is nothing to be scared of because don’t forget the Angels are your protectors and you will only feel a tremendous amount of love, peace and joy when that link is made.“Minds and hearts are like parachutes, they only function when open”To help you understand and recognise connections to these realms when they happen, you will need a little more information.

PREPARING YOUR ANGELIC SACRED SPACECleanse your room or Sacred Space with air - open the windows, burn incense or Essential Oils. Use fire, a great cleanser, light a candle. Use the element of earth - make sure you have at least one plant in your Sacred Space. The use of water ensures that energies are encouraged to flow and continually cleansed. Water features, water in your burner, or a bowl of water with floating flowers are all good options. Use sound - quite loud music initially to cleanse your room of negative vibrations, then soothing, more meditative music to invoke the positive energies. Allow the light into your Sacred Space. Sunlight mostly, but sometimes the Moonlight can be a great cleanser and energiser.The whole room can be your Sacred Space, or you can make a special place within your room and create and ‘altar’ of your favourite and special objects as a point of meditative focus. There are some wonderful ideas in Liz Simpson’s ‘The Book of Chakra Healing’ ISBN 1– 856750—83—3ANGELIC PRESENCEThere are many signs of Angelic presence, or ‘calling cards’ as I like to call them!1. Temperature change. Usually an increase in temperature, warmth. This can sometimes be accompanied by a light breeze.2. Fragrance or perfume that you will find difficult to describe except for the fact that it is beautiful!3. Light - coloured lights, flashes like fireflies, sparks, shafts of light, do not be alarmed! You will not ’see’ an Angel until you are ready—the Angels do not want to alarm or distress you in any way.4. Sound - voices or singing - again, only when you are ready.5. Emotions - your heart fills with love, you cry tears of joy, you start laughing - but you cannot explain why!6. White Feathers - probably the most famous Angelic calling card! They appear or manifest from nowhere in the most unlikely places. This sign in particular, is to show you that Angels are around you and ready to answer or already have heard and responded to your prayers.7. Dreams. Angels may appear in your dreams - you might not remember it, but if you have gone to bed with a problem only to wake up with a solution - the Angels have spoken to you in your sleep.8. Feelings. Some might just sense a presence in the room. Once you feel this presence, sometimes you will go on to see, hear, or smell their presence, or you might just react with your emotions.9. Signs and Symbols. This one is a more physical expression of the Angels helping and guiding you. We often say things appear or happen in three’s. Well if you are alert in your daily tasks, the Angels will send signs such as a picture in a magazine, only to be repeated in an advert on TV, to be repeated again in conversation with somebody. This is a more physical, quite practical, and to some people much more down to earth and therefore more acceptable way to know you are in touch with your Angelic guides.CONNECTING WITH ANGELSWrite them a letter!Before you begin, make sure you will not be disturbed. Sit in your Sacred Space, quiet and centre yourself. Play relaxing music, light a candle; evaporate some Essential Oils, and anything else that adds to your sanctuary. Now you are ready to begin writing a letter to your Guardian, personal or a specific angel, or just the Angelic realm, as though you were writing to a friend. Write all that is troubling and causing you anxiety. End your letter by asking for guidance to a solution to your problem. Now the important part - leave it with the angels. Try your very best to trust that the Angels have now taken over and they will resolve the issue in the best way possible for all concerned. As you conclude, make sure that you send love and peace to the other party involved in the situation. Sit back (not literally!) and watch with amazement as the situation begins to resolve itself.Ask your Angels!It does not matter where you are, you can mentally and silently communicate with your Angels. Try it with the Parking Angel, you will be amazed!Pray Aloud to your Angels!Talk to your Angels on a daily basis - out loud! Praying is asking for assistance, whether it be for a Driving Angel to protect you on your daily car journeys, or a Healing Angel to help a sick or ill friend. The more you talk, the stronger the link will become. “It pays to talk”!Meditate and Dream with your Angels!When we meditate we are waiting quietly and patiently to hear, or see the answers to our prayers, which is when we ask for help. It is important at certain times, to sit quietly in our Sacred Place to meditate which is listening for the answers and guidance to our daily lives.To dream with our Angels can be very effective for some people. When we are asleep, more of our brain wakes up! Our subconscious - the largest part of our brain (almost 90%) becomes active. So, before we sleep, we pray for guidance or help, and when we sleep (meditate) we will receive the guidance, answer or healing we have prayed (asked) for.See your Angels!Yes, open your mind when you meditate, intent that you wish to ‘see’ the angels. Allow pictures, symbols and colours to come into your mind. As you become more adept, you will start seeing the Angels in your minds eye. Sometimes colours, symbols or pictures will carry more meaning for you. Just keep your mind and heart open like a parachute - all three work better that way!
THE ANGELIC HIERARCHY As there is order in our physical world, so too is order in the Angelic realms. This order in the Angelic realm is firstly established by what is known as the Spheres, of which there are three.Within each Sphere there is a ‘pecking order’, not necessarily by which is most important, as each is as important and integral to the functioning of each Sphere but also in the relationship between each Sphere. Although at the moment we are primarily concerned with our link to the Angels and Archangels, there is no reason at all why you should not explore any of the other realms within any of the other Spheres. As this is still a ‘young’ web site, I am intending to add more information to this section as time goes on. SPHERE 1Heavenly Counsellors who are closest to God or Source.This Sphere directs and transforms the pure light and love from Source to an acceptable level that can be absorbed throughout all the levels of the Universe.The SeraphimThe essence of the Seraphim is pure love. They balance the energies of creation and the other spheres by using sound and song. They direct the light or love energy that comes from source, or if you prefer the term ‘all that is’.The CherubimThe Cherubim are angels of wisdom. They are the guardians and directors of the light or love.The ThronesThe Thrones are Angels of the planets. They protect, guard and keep the balance throughout the Cosmos.SPHERE 2This Shere serve as heavenly Governors.The DominionsThese are the celestial prefects of all the Angels. As such they do not have much direct contact with us as their work is with the Angelic realm below them.The VirtuesThe Virtues are the Angels who make the love and light from source accessible to us. They are the Angels of miracles and blessings. They are often referred to as “The Shinning Ones” because of the light they radiate.The PowersThey are our Protectors, the Angels of birth, death and rebirth. They are the keepers of the Akashic Records, or the Lords of Karma as they are sometimes referred to.SPHERE 3Heavenly MessengersThe PrincipalitiesThe Principalities guard nations, countries and large organisations.ArchangelsThe Archangels are our guides, protectors and teachers. The Archangels lead hosts of other Angels. AngelsThe Angels are our Guardians and Personal Angels. DEVAS ELEMENTS AND BABY ANGELSThis particular area of the Spheres is very special for me and as such I will be devoting a separate part of the magazine to them. Please visit the main page regularly for an update on the progress of this area. The reason why the ‘Baby Angels’ are so special to me is as a Clinical Aromatherapist, I work with essential oils, and my Personal Angels come from the realm of the Elementals. Whilst giving a treatment one night, I and another therapist, my Reiki Master to be exact, saw 3 beautiful blue lights, not much larger than fireflies, over the clients head! It was a privilege and a very special gift we were given that night.DevasDevas are guardians of forests, rivers, lakes, seas, sacred sites and holy shrines. They protect and nurture these areas around the world. They also mind the seasons. All in all they work to keep nature in balance.ElementalsFairies, elves, gnomes, pixies, undines (water), sylphs (air), and salamanders (fire), they are the closest link to nature and the elements. They may appear as specks of light, or as ‘wee fairy folk’ to those who are attuned to them!
THE ARCHANGELS Michael – “Who is like God”Michael is usually depicted as carrying a sword. This is a symbol of protection, courage, strength, truth and integrity. But more than this, Michael can be called upon to ‘cut the ties’ that we have mentally, emotionally or etherically with past or present issues. We can therefore call upon Michael to help us ‘let go’ of situations which hold us back from our highest purpose and being in this lifetime. Michael helps us to remain balanced and steadfast to our principles, integrity and highest good, and by so doing protects us from ‘evil’ or negativity. His light is the colour blue. Machu Pichu in Peru is the home on the planetary grid for Michaels energies, and represented by the planet Uranus.Gabriel – “Strength in God”Gabriel brings guidance, vision, inspiration and even prophecy to us. It is quite logical therefore that he is the Archangel who governs our ‘3rd eye’. He brings to us guidance and direction when we have strayed or are confused about our ‘Life Path’. He comes to us in our dreams with visions, inspiration and prophecy. Gabriel is also the Archangel of purification – he can remove toxins, negative thought forms, negative feelings or energies from our environment even the negative energies of another person we might have absorbed. Gabriel comes to us with indigo and white light. On the planetary grid, Gabriels energies can be located in Tibet, his planetary association is Mercury.Raphael – “Healing Power of God”Raphael, alongside Chemuel, helps our heart charka. Where Chemuel assists in our expression of unconditional love, Raphael helps us with the healing of our love of self and others. Raphael brings healing, wholeness and unity to our heart. As the meaning of his name tells us, he is the Archangel to call upon when any kind of healing is needed for ourselves, or others. As Chemuel carries pink light for the heart and orange light of the sacral charka, Raphael exudes both pink and green light associated with the heart charka. Raphael’s home on the planetary grid is the United Kingdom, and earth is his planet of choice in the universal charka grid.Zadkiel – “Righteousness of God”Zadkiel teaches us forgiveness of self and others. When we forgive, we walk in grace, with tolerance and the ability to see the ‘greater picture’. By forgiving, without judgement, we can walk apart, or above or away from negative influences with grace and integrity. To do this we have to reach the depths of our soul, and as high as we possibly can to the source, hence the reason why Zadkiel works with Jophiel on our crown charka, but more importantly on our 8th or Higher Chakra. Zadkiel plays a unique roll on the planetary grid in that he connects Earth to the other major planets thus making earth part of the Universal Chakras, and connecting us to these through the planet Venus.Uriel – “Light of God”Uriel, along with Jophiel is associated with our Solar Plexus. He brings peace and tranquillity, the ability to receive as well as to give. He brings stability and ‘self – knowing’. He helps us work on, understand and transmute negative aspects of ourselves, and others so that peace, tranquillity and serenity can abide within us. When we have worked, understood and transformed these negativities we become ‘self-knowing’ and truly connected to the “Who I Am”. He comes with gold and purple light. Uriel is located at Ayers Rock on the planetary grid, and as the colour of Ayers Rock is red so is his associated planet Mars.Chemuel – ‘He Who Sees God”Chemuel is the Archangel of pure, unconditional love. He helps us with all aspects of our relationships with partners, our children, relations, friends and colleagues. Most importantly he shows us how to love ourselves first – warts and all! Because, unless we can love ourselves first, we cannot possibly, truly, unconditionally love anybody else. Because our love firstly emanates from our heart, and then in close intimate relationships from our sacral charka, it is perhaps why Chemuel is one of the archangels that governs more than one of our charkas. Chemuel’s spiritual ‘retreat’ on the planetary grid is Hawaii, and connects to Neptune on the universal charka grid. Jophiel – “Beauty of God”Jophiel takes us even closer to source, God, our soul, or our higher selves. He awakens our sleeping self to wisdom with imagination and inspiration. Once awakened we feel a new connection to something far greater than just our physical being. This brings joy and excitement to our lives. Although Jophiel is normally associated with our crown charka, he also works with our solar plexus, the “Who I Am”. Both of which, given Jophiels directives makes sense. He brings yellow or golden light to us. He is associated with the Arctic on the planetary grid, and links to Jupiter on the universal grid system.THE THREE 'BIG BOYS'!SandolphonSandolphon keeps both our feet on the ground! He brings earth energies to us, which make us feel supported and secure. He therefore works on both our base/root and what is known as our Earth Star charkas. Having said this, Sandolphon can then fly to the highest of heights, as he is the great Angel Prince who oversees the seraphim, little wonder that he connects to the planets Pluto and Saturn.MetatronYou will certainly feel the presence of Metatron if you ask for his help! He is the physical ‘General in Chief’ of the Archangels. If you ever need physical protection from any negative or possibly dangerous situation he will make his presence felt like a huge impregnable wall between you and whatever is threatening you. In the meantime he will call on the appropriate Archangel or Angel to help resolve your situation.MelkizadeckAs Metatron is the physical ‘General in Chief’, so Melkizadeck is the all knowing Archangel who keeps our Karmic and Akashic records. He knows everything about everything – a veritable etheric encyclopaedia! He knows about every healing modality that has\ever been or ever will be. He knows all there is to know about science – past, present and future. But for all his knowledge it is all balanced with wisdom.
