4 day Reiki introduction workshop - first degree - in Essaouira, Morocco

* Reiki first degree 4 day workshop training course to be held in Essaouira, Morocco. (see pictures) for groups of 5 - 7 people.

Price to include accommodation for 4 nights in Essaouira in addition to the workshops. Food will be organic and freshly prepared, on a bring and share basis.

* Travel - If you choose to travel by aeroplane, please be understanding to the fact that this level of carbon emissions is severely damaging to our planet and so I have to say that you must offest your carbon emissions, which I know is as easy to do as buying an online aeroplane ticket but far cheaper, to be welcome on the course.

This is for no other reason than I know there are other reiki practitioners out there who are nearer to you and that you could get to without damaging the planet as much.

At the same time I know that a journey into the light and connection with divine energy often requires some kind of travel to leave time for contemplation and inner feelings to surface, and that the carbon emissions could be offset on a plane journey for less than £20; and that if I was offered the chance to do my Reiki training somewhere as beautiful and peaceful as Essaouira, amongst people of Islam for my neighbours whilst I took my attunement, and found that the only way to fulfil my dream was to go by aeroplane I think I'd do it and plant some trees...

No judgement, arrive however you need to arrive, but please be aware of your carbon footprint as you go and offset your carbon emissions if you come by plane, before the start of the workshops. I'm interested in empowering us all to become aware of our actions and their consequences within the world.

* The workshops - 4 days (Monday - Thursday) with a morning and afternoon/evening activities including walking meditation; discussion; attunement; group and individual healing; Reiki history; cleansing and purifying techniques for life, food, body, mind and spirit; relaxation,; eating delicious fresh organic locally produced food; being thankful; being in good company; happiness and walking a path of peace.

* Essaouira is a beautiful, friendly, peaceful, small fishing port town on the coast of Morocco just west of Marrakesh. Filled with traditional music, arts and crafts and beautiful scenery.

Accommodation will be in the walled part of the town. www.essaouiranet.com is a good place to go with a lot of local information and some photographs of the town. There are watersports classes running all year round from the beach and it's surrounded by beautiful countryside to explore.

* I am an experienced Reiki master-teacher and have been teaching and practising Reiki for over 7 years, and practising hands on healing, channelling and lightwork for the past 25 years. I am a nontraditional Reiki master-teacher, and always tailor each course accordingly to the individuals who take part.

I believe there is a great responsibility involved in helping people connect with Source, light, Reiki, and that each individual has different needs. These will all be met over the course.

* You will notice this is a longer than normal Reiki 1 workshop course. This is for 2 reasons. Firstly, overheads are cheaper in Morocco hence being able to offer for the same price as a weekend attunement in the UK, a course that lasts 4 days.

Secondly because in practice I've found that 12 hours isn't always long enough for people for all the information and teaching to sink in, and after a weekend people invariably come back with questions or wanting further support. By taking our time we will have more opportunity to practice what we've learned and take as much time as is needed for each individual to get what they need from the course. We also get a whole load more sunshine doing it this way :) .

As always, I do not believe in attuning people to Reiki and then leaving them to it, as has sadly become common practice these days. So this course comes with a lifetime's worth of available support via email or telephone afterwards, or for as long as you like, and all participants will be warmly welcomed return to Morocco for Reiki share weeks afterwards, which will commence in September.

* Timings - The course runs from Monday morning to Thursday evening (which times with the discounted flight operators' landing and departure times on Sundays and Fridays and allows you to get a bus from Marrakesh to Essaouira and back, without rushing to or from your plane, if you choose to travel in one). Extra nights' affordable accomodation available upon request.

that we've not done enough; or that somewhere along the line we lost sight of our ideal world and our responsibility to make it - that we were sent here to be a part of co-creating that space for ourselves - BY OUR ACTIONS.

If you don't like the dog poo on the street - pick it up and dispose of it accordingly.

DON'T

waste your time and energy moaning about it, when you are responsible for yourself and your feelings and it's up to you to make yourself and others around you happy.

Let yourself happily tidy up the street, and enjoy how it feels to see the street clean.

Ours is not to judge how or why the poo got there.

- We all make mistakes along the way -

It's blaming people and  wrongly taking responsibility for judging another which lets war and conflict flourish in our world.

We MUST BE the light, the shining example, to set a precedent and show others the way.

Be like the water.

Drop all judgement.

Follow the tide and swim with it.

Keep in constant prayer/meditation/connection to divine consciousness.

Follow your intuition.

Become the change you want to see, for only then will you see it. Only you can make it happen, only you know your own true calling.

If all we are is peaceful, truly peaceful, taking full responsibility for all our actions and their consequences, regularly connecting with divine creation, asking for signs along the way if we feel lost, and never losing faith; listening to our inner voice and the word from on high, we are consciously taking responsibility for the truth of the situation and waking up to the reality of what needs to be done to right the wrongs of this world for many generations.

And simply by our actions and example, nothing more or less, as we walk the path of peace and truth in full view of the masses, so others will follow."
