We have all heard that love is a many splendid thing.
Love is in my opinion the most powerful emotion a person can feel, weather it is coming in or going out. Most of us feel love the strongest as it is going out of us, the love we feel for others. Love is however most awesome when it is coming in, when we can feel loved by someone. This is the part some of us can get in trouble with. The part, that is unknown to some, until it is no longer there, this is the part that can be taken for granted in so many ways. It can be take for granted by the receptor, or it can even taken for granted by one who loves so much that, he/she does not stop to feel or look for clues of reciprocation. In either case love only hurts when it goes unreciprocated. One can always get in trouble when one thinks "my love is enough for the both of us!" Not so. Love is an energy, one that must flow from and to both directions. When love flows out of us and is not reciprocated all you are doing is draining your heart. The good thing is that when we sow love we reap love even if it is not from the same source where we sowed it. May you always plant your love in a fertile heart that reciprocates what you put into it.
