Christopher Titmuss is the co-founder of one of the largest and most respected retreat centres in Devon, from which he travels all over the world to teach awakening and insight meditation retreats. From 1962 to 1969 he worked as a reporter in London, Turkey, Thailand, Laos and Australia - and then spent 6yrs. as a Buddhist monk in Thailand and India. For the past 25yrs he has been teaching the Dharma. He is an active supporter of global responsibility and is a founder member of the 12-strong international board of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship. In 1986 and 1992 he stood for Parliament for the Green Party.
