I feel like I have control over my body once again. The past 6 weeks have been filled unbearable pain.
9-9-9 was a turning point for me. On 8-9-9 I had a couple of drinks with friends and told them in great detail that I was doing remarkably well on all levels - body, mind and spirit.
The next morning I woke with a violent cough and my muscles and joints were throbbing with pain. Fortunately I had an appointment booked with a physiotherapist to assess my rotator cuff injury.
She told me that due to the severity of the coughing I strained all my neck muscles which pinched my nerves, and that aggravated the rotator cuff, as well as limited use of both arms.
I could barely walk into her office because the pain in my feet was unbearable. Somehow that morning I torqued my pelvic while trying to get out of bed. It took me almost an hour to find a way out of the bed because my muscles were knotted and prevented me from moving.
I used the wall as support to walk to the bathroom. Dressing myself was quite a performance. I believe the angels must have brought me to the physiotherapist because all I remember is the pain, not the journey to her office.
She said she could release some of the muscles and realign my pelvic, and I should see the doctor because the flu sounded serious. For 3 days I rested without much movement and drank lots of fluids and took ibuprofen for the inflammation.
On day 4 it took me 2 hours to get out of bed. I walked at a snails pace to the phone to book an appointment with the doctor. He prescribed neproxin and rest, then scheduled an appt with specialist to rule out autoimmune disease. 4 days later the specialist told me that I did not have an autoimmune disease but the tests show non specific inflammation. Possibly due to injuries and flu.
Booked an appt with cranial sacral therapist to realign spine and work on rotator cuff.
Another doctors appt. He had laryngitis. He said it was just a cold a few days ago. I told him that is how mine started. Then bam I'm diabled. He asked on a scale of one to ten where is my pain level. I told him that my initial visit was a pain level of 15, and now it is approx. 4.
All of these events ocurred when I was undergoing tests for gluten intolerance. It involves a 3 month gluten free diet followed by a few weeks off which happened to coincide with the onset of the flu. Gluten intolerance produces a number of symptoms including joint and muscle pain, which was mild until the flu hit. That explains the wish I was dead kind of pain I was experiencing.
I told friends and relatives that I am being tested to the nth degree. Well I think I passed.
I'm back on my gluten free diet. I have removed processed foods, dairy products, meat, sugar and yeast. My body is recovering. I feel lighter and healthier than ever.
I woke up in a good mood this morning and I hope it will be smooth sailing from now on.....on the ascension process.
