For the month of October we will see alone for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia many punishments sentenced to innocent civilians. On another note, why the hell is it being ruled under a king? This is not the medieval ages anymore.
I will be listing a majority of the punishments that reached headlines this month.
October 7th A Saudi Arabian court sentenced a Saudi Arabian man to 1,000 lashes and five years in jail for boasting about his sexual experiences on a Lebanese-based satellite television station On relation to comparison of a serious crime this month the general court in Al-Jouf sentenced two young Saudi men to 10 years in prison and 500 lashes each after they were found guilty of robbing SR195 from a gas station and burgling a number of apartments. A third was sentenced to eight years and 350 lashes. So I must add, where are their heads at? Not only that a journalist from the Lebanese show was sentenced to 60 lashes, a female Saudi girl for working on the episode as its coordinator.
October 2nd 100 people were arrested by Saudi Arabian police for attending a mixed-gender party. The people may be subject to lashing or jail time. Many of which were drinking and are subject to punishment considering that Saudi Arabia does not allow the consumption of alcohol or a good time in general. Last July, 7 men and four women were sentenced 700 lashes and jail terms ranging to 10 months for attending what authorities called an “immoral” party.
October 1rst a Filipino woman at the age of 35 with name unknown of is in jail for adultery after seen as being pregnant, although she claims she was drugged and raped by a coworker. Sentence and true name of individual is unknown.
These are all for this month alone in Saudi Arabia. Imagine all the injustice being served in Saudi Arabia in a yearly basis. I urge higher public awareness towards the environment of fear humans are forced to live under being born in these types of countries. I would also like to point out that it is not just Saudi Arabia it is MOST middle eastern governments.
