Since I've been having trouble visualising that lately. I thought to do a sort of grounding "cloud" thingy of green energy but Metatron said that wouldn't work since its not connected to the Earth it would be invoking a different aspect of the Green Ray.
Thanks and Blessings to all who might help.
Grounding Through The Power Of The Heart
August 20, 2010, 3:23 am
The most powerful and effective means of grounding is to do what I call "Heart-Breathing."
To do this technique, you focus all of your attention and awareness on your heart chakra, and then start slowly, deeply and rhythmically breathing in and out through the heart. Watch for the feelings you get in your body as things start to come into greater balance.
Those feelings in your body are your built-in biofeedback mechanism that scientifically measurable physiological changes are taking place in your body AND your consciousness!
The heart is the most powerful electromagnetic center in our body. Its electromagnetic field can and has been measured scientifically, and its 5,000 times more powerful than the electromagnetic field of the brain in our head. Grounding is about electromagnetic energy and the heart is the most powerful center for that energy in our being and body.
When you do this Heart Breathing technique there are physiological as well as energetic changes that take place in your body. They have been measured many times in a laboratory setting by research organizations like The Institute of HeartMath (who I was trained and certified by some years ago).
Heart-Breathing will balance ALL of your chakras perfectly if you practice it regularly. It starts to do that the minute you begin using it. Thus the functions of the root chakra and all other chakras are brought into perfect alignment in time with this technique and in a very safe manner by using the intelligence of your heart.
I have used biofeedback equipment hooked up to a computer to monitor what happens in a person's physiology and consciousness when this technique is used, its for real!
I have given you all you need to know to use it effectively here in this forum, give it a try and I think you will be amazed.
I also have an e-Book available on Heart Breathing as well which covers some of the science behind it, various different modalitites it can be used in, and also gives two more advanced techniques I developed called the "Infinity Breath" and the "Oneness Breath" that work with a little known energy point called the "atoma" which is our Infinity access point.
If you want, you can also check out my "Heart Breathing: Breathing for Balance, Higher Awareness, Higher Consciousness and Ascension" e-book.
Peace and blessed grounding through the sacred power of your heart, Simeon Chiron
Being Grounded During A Meditation.
July 27, 2010, 9:28 pm
Hi Sherry, some people maybe air signs like me when we meditate float off up into the ethers and dont come down again very easily and can be walking round for days above the pavement and not really connected with our bodies properly. Grounding is a method of anchoring ourselves to the earth to be able to come back down to our body more easily and to stay connected to our body. Its acutally quite difficult to put into words but thats the gist of it for me.
Keep doing what your doing though - sounds like what your doing is working brilliantly for you.

I do it by feeling my roots growing into the earth and If this doesnt happen easily I give myself permission to grow fabulous roots into the earth. I extend my roots on each exhalation, take your time no rush and they will grow. Pat yourself on the back tell yourself how great your roots are growing and they will grow even faster and better. :D

I have been meditating for a long time now and it is only now I'm finding new ways to really help. I use grounding crystals such as Smokey Quartz, Haematite so check out grounding stones. I also use meditations from a book called 'Ask Your Angels' and have used it on and off for over 14 years. But I read somewhere years ago monks used to walk up to 3 hours a day before they went to meditate. I am not suggesting you do that but I have found since having my dog and walking it has grounded me so much more. I relax my mind, take in the trees and even ask them. Visualisation becomes clearer because of the walk and connecting to the trees. Visualisation is much deeper sending the roots down. I'm not saying it's perfect for you but find different ways, colours, wood any practical and down to earth that you like and then you can relax. I also tape record on my mobile phone the sequence of grounding so it is to hand and I hear my own voice keeping me focused on the process of grounding.
Hope this helps.
That Is A Good Question.

That is a good question.
I also have trouble visualizing at the moment, what work best for me, is just focusing on my feet.
Noticing what you legs/feet want to do.
If you are a good "feeler".
Plus visualization techniques kinda just seems abit stupid in my eyes.
Energy isn't a part of the mind.
Just make your own concept of grounding.
No one knows what works best for you.
Something i realized a week ago.
NO ONE knows anything, you know more than what you think others know.

Also just to add - other than visualisations you may like to investigate homeopathic remedies and bach flower remedies (can be bought in local pharmacies) to help with grounding eg. Bach oak flower essence.

Have you found your way with grounding visualization?
I do the techniques mentionned before, and it works but I also wanted to add another technique that I really like. Sometimes, I just recall myself that I'm in Mother Earth's arms, anywhere I am, or in her belly center. I say hi to Gaïa, and feel how much she loves me, I feel surrounded and protected. Just connected and greatful to be here. We are sooo lucky to be here! When this journey is over, I imagine that we are going to remind ourselves of every moment, and that ever the toughest ones will be something good to remember, because it was OUR path, the one we need to grow, and it is our choices, our magic in action that makes us live what we live, I bless every moment, even when I'm in big pain, I don't complain. I stay calm, I wait, I don't panic. I try to get the message, and I stay grateful.
Grounding is also about taking care of our body. Eating well, drinking enough water, focusing on the present moment...
Thanks to all of you for that wonderful group we form together
What Is Being Grounded Anyway?
March 2, 2010, 7:52 pm
I've heard the meditations & they are beautiful don't get me wrong. But it never made me feel anymore connected to the earth than a walk in the wilderness. Connected & centered are the terms I like to use. We are always connected, but sometimes we feel out of touch. I get that way sometimes & I go to the woods & just listen, feel, look around. Praying is something I never cease to do, this always makes me feel connected, knowing that the universe has my back at all times. Being centered is a little more difficult at times when you feel out of balance. Everything in moderation is what works for me. I am not naturally moderate either, I'm either full force or no force, so I try to be both equally. Eventually I learned to even out, & pace myself. I still backsklide though. I think being grounded is about manifesting your dreams into reality. You not only have to think it you have to live it. To envision something & then work to make it happen. I love to garden, when I am digging & planting & picking, I feel the earth turning in space, its mezmerizing & I feel like time stands still in that moment when I am totally connected to all that is. Taking deep controlled breaths can help to center my consciousness, when I feel like blowing a gasket from stresses that life can bring. Then I say a little prayer giving thanks for all I have in my life. Its amazing what the feeling of gratitude will do for you when you are stressed. Well I hope this helps you in a practical way.Peace, Love & Smiles:) Sherry

one of the simplest grounding techniques that i have come across is as follows
sit somewhere where you feel relaxed
focus on your breathing until you have a nice steady rhythmn of breathing in for a count slow count of four, holding for a count of four, breathing out for a count of four holding for a count of four then repeating until you feel calm and relaxed.
draw your awareness down to your feet.
visualise a network of golden roots similar to tree roots reaching down into mother earth
and spreading out so that you feel quite literally like a tree would.
feel the energy of the cosmos flowing into your crown chackra and flowing all the way down your body and out through the roots and into the earth.
then imagine a gold ray coming up out nof mother earth and coming up through the roots passing all the way up through your body and out of your crown and away into the universe.
then simply visualise yourself surrounded by white healing light a bit like being in a cocoon.
this was taught to me a few years ago and when you get used to it you find that you can usually do it anywhere at anytime that you feel the need for grounding.

By cord are you including the visualisation of your roots of a tree going down to the centre of earth? Your legs strong, and your feet firmly embedded in the ground, becoming tree roots extending down deep deep deep branching far & wide until you secure your roots around the core of the earth and are secure..
