My husband has been offered a job that is not ideal, but it IS good money. We're really struggling financially so I don't feel like we're in a position right now to turn down abundance in any form. But taking this job doesn't feel good either, so is it better to not accept it and see what else might come our way?

Dearest M. S.,
There is not a right or wrong answer here in terms of being better to accept or not accept a job with conflicting attributes. In other words there are 2 aspects of this job which cause different vibrations for you. In this case, the type of work doesn't feel good, but the money you would receive does feel good. Or you can look at it from the opposite standpoint of: refusing the work might feel good but refusing the money does not feel good. So either decision (taking the job vs. not taking the job) has an element of resistance or "bad" vibrations/feelings.
We would like to point out that this seemingly conflicting guidance only will be the case IF you are just in a reactive state. In other words, just reacting to what you perceive in your reality rather than consciously CHOOSING how to vibrate about something.
This is where conscious creating comes in. In every moment you are choosing how to react to things. Most of your choices are unconscious so it seems like your reactions are just automatic - like your environment is CAUSING your reactions. But you ARE indeed choosing. You think thoughts which are either in alignment with the way Source sees things or not in alignment with Source and then you "vibrate" accordingly (emotional guidance system). When you think thoughts that are in alignment with Source, you feel good. When you think thoughts that are not in alignment with Source you feel bad. So the choice or conscious control isn't about controlling your feelings. That is indeed automatic. The conscious part is in CHOOSING WHAT THOUGHTS YOU THINK. Thoughts are either in alignment with Source or not and therefore cause harmony or discord within you.
This is why neither option (taking the job or not) is "right" or "wrong," "better" or "worse." It's the thoughts you choose to think ABOUT the job that make part of a decision feel right and part of it feel wrong. If you decide to take the job, your thoughts are already easily in harmony with the more money part, so the task is to find some thoughts to think about the work that will help you find alignment. For example "it is only temporary, I can do anything for a week," "maybe i will like it more than I think I will," "maybe I will learn some things that will be useful in other areas of my life" etc. It is up to you to find the thoughts that work for you.
If you decide not take the job, your thoughts about releasing this type of work are already in harmony, so your task is to find thoughts that feel better about letting the money go. For example, "I manifested this job offer, so I can manifest 10 more with better work and the same or better pay". "By releasing this work that does not please me, I make room in my experience for more offers of work that please me more". "The universe is abundant and I open to receive that abundance every day." Again it's whatever thoughts you can easily "buy into" that also resonate with the way Source views things.
When you are thinking thoughts like "it would not be smart to turn down this abundance" that is not in alignment with Source because Source knows that resources, abundance, prosperity is unlimited, so whether you take this money or not, there will always be more available to you (if you can ALLOW it into your experience).
Turning down money feels scary if you don't believe that more can come just as easily. The good news is: you CHOOSE your beliefs. Many people think this is not true, but you can think of things that you believed earlier in your life that you no longer believe. Beliefs can change. They really are just habits of thought. Some of them are passed on to you by others or the collective subconscious or you formulate them on your own. But you CHOOSE whether to "believe" them or not. Finding beliefs (new habits of thought) that feel better (more in harmony with your Source) are the way to stay in a state of allowing.
You can find the thoughts you are thinking about the work that are out of alignment by simply thinking about accepting this job and observing how you feel. Then try out new thoughts and see how they feel. When you find the ones that feel good - you've found your agreement with Source. If you want to do the work because of the money it brings, then just practice thinking those thoughts over and over to replace the habits of thought that didn't feel good.
Now generally we do not recommend doing work that knocks you out of alignment for long periods of time. Pursuing your "passions" and work that makes it easy to stay in alignment is the easiest way to stay in a state of allowing abundance to flow to you. But we do know that many of you are not yet to the place yet of fully believing that you can make money doing what you love. So we understand that it is helpful (you would say necessary but we would not) to take work that you don't prefer because it delivers a paycheck. This is fine, but if you DO take work that is not ideal, you will never find ideal work that pays the bills IF you are continually thinking thoughts about that work that throw you out of alignment. If you choose to take less than ideal work because of the money it brings, then you sure as hell better find a way to think about that work that is joyful. Find little pieces of the work that bring you joy, or as you are doing it, imagine that you are doing the preferred work, think about all the fun things you can do with the money it brings. Whatever it takes to stay in a place of love, joy or even just in the neutral place of acceptance. That way you can "make" progress in manifesting jobs which fulfill more of the criteria that you desire = the "right" amount of money AND the "right" type of work. Taking the "wrong" type of work can be helpful in the sense that it gives you practice in finding joy and alignment even when you are in a situation that is not preferred.
We want to help you learn 2 things. ONE - you are a powerful manifestor - you CAN manifest your desires. Manifesting a job (although slightly imperfect) is evidence of this. Staying "in the flow" or "in alignment" is the way that you allow your desires into your experience more and more.
TWO - you have a choice of how you react to what shows up in your experience - the choice comes in which thoughts you think about what you observe. When you can find thoughts that align with Source even when you are observing something that you do not prefer, THAT is mastery over your vibration. That is the key to living a joyful life. It does not matter WHAT you manifest. That is your choice. What does matter is maintaining your alignment with Source. That is HOW you allow your manifestations into your experience. That is how you bring more joy, love, light and peace into this world.
So it does not matter what decisions you make in the physical experience of your life - what matters is what you choose to think (and therefore vibrate) about the decisions you make and the decisions others make. Choosing thoughts that are in harmony with Source is ultimately how we will create Peace on Earth!

Answer For Ivahana From Isaac

You are correct that things “happen” to you because of soul-level agreements and needs with which you came into this physical experience, but what we want to focus on is your ability to make choices that can end these cycles of drama.
The way it works is that at the soul-level you have come here to grow, evolve and expand; and so there are certain experiences that you will continue to have (or variations on a theme of experiences) that you manifest until you have “mastered” your reaction to that experience and moved beyond the need to continue to experience these things.
So this is where your choices come in to play. You CAN choose how to react to these things. And once you have experienced something unwanted enough times, you will reach a point that you decide to do something about it. Often it begins by being introduced to ideas such as “you create your own reality,” or “you have control over your destiny.” Many of our physical friends will argue with such notions at first, saying, “I never would have chosen to have these terrible things happen to me.” But once you get to a “saturation point” of bad things happening, eventually all of you will decide to experiment with these ideas even if only to prove them wrong, or out of desperation since no other approach has worked. So you begin to honestly look at what is showing up in your reality and put the pieces together as to why in the world you might have created these unwanted things over and over again.
In your case Ivahana, we would suggest you look first at feelings of powerlessness that you’ve had. Your experience with the courts returning abused children back to the hands of abusers points to some soul-level need that you have to feel “ok” despite feeling powerless in situations. Experiences of sexual abuse can also be opportunities to examine powerlessness and the role it has played in the recurring themes of your life.
You have hit the nail on the head when you say you have “somewhat accepted this path in your life, but not really.” And this is the key to moving forward and leaving these recurring themes behind. As long as you have something to learn from an experience, it will keep showing up in your life. As long as you continue to resist and judge what is showing up on your path rather than accept and forgive, you will continue to have similar experiences. Welcome them as opportunities to fully accept your role in the drama, accept the existence of the drama itself, appreciate it for the contrast it provides to you and all those involved, and forgive all involved for the roles they have played. Once you can do that fully, then you will no longer have the need to continue to experience this drama.
In fact through true and total forgiveness, you will have raised your vibration to such a level that these sorts of experiences will no longer even be available to you - they will not even show up on your radar and you can focus on expressing your True Self through your artwork. You can also use a focus on your artwork to help you with the final stages of acceptance, release and forgiveness, as well as taking your power back and ending that cycle of powerlessness.
You are in charge. Purposefully turn your attention to creating and expressing your passion through the work that brings you joy. Actively begin sharing your artwork and bring it out of hiding. That will raise your vibration, so that holding on to resentments, feelings of powerlessness and anger towards injustice will no longer seem natural. As you bring the creative force of the Universe through you, and share it with others, it will buoy your vibrational frame of reference and letting go of these long held feelings will be easier.
So sometimes it feels like you are being pushed along a road of experience that is not of your choosing, but we promise that at some level you DID choose it and would encourage you to find as much appreciation as you can for those past experiences and opportunities to forgive. Publishing a book is a sign that your creations are beginning to see the light of day. Ride that wave of “bringing yourself out of hiding” and let your artwork be next. Decide today that you want to release the old patterns and thought processes that kept you locked in that cycle of drama, and turn your attention toward your creativity and expression of the joy that has been stifled as you played out your role in the drama.
That simple decision will create a tidal wave of circumstances, synchronicities and support from the Universe to move you toward the life that you’ve dreamed of. You do indeed deserve it!

Question On Your Response!

i thank you for your answer. It is true, I am experiencing the difference between what i dreamed my life would be and the 'soul purpose' of it, which pushed me in other directions. Incredible and difficult to accept at first. But i did (not entirely, honest, i still want my art work to be apreciated). And now i ask for a sincere, heartfelt answer from Isaac, with much reverence to him but also to myself (i am worth it)! I am a talented artist and my art works stay hidden. At the contrary all my time and efforts are put into challenges/problems of my children and grandchildren, the two youngest being sexually abused. I had much to do about them and about other abused children, the corrupt conduit of court who sent them back to the abusers. I have now written a book that is going to be published. This is not the road i (ego) wanted to go, but i did... your answer is welcome, see!
Creating And Co-creating

Thanks for the feedback, ivahana. Yes, the soul-level journey is not addressed here. That is another layer of this creating/co-creating business no?
The soul-level stuff would be more appropriate as an answer to, "why do I keep manifesting/creating these shitty experiences." or some such question.
I think Isaac has such a beautiful way of meeting the questioner "where they are" in terms of addressing exactly what they are asking and why they are asking it. At least that is my intuitive experience of it and consistent with the feedback I get from questioners. When I read back the answers I always think similar things like "they left out the soul-level journey aspect of it" or "money schmoney, do what you love without question." But usually the feedback I get is that it is just what that person needed to hear in that moment. (So I assume others need to hear it put like that as well.)
Plus it's just nearly impossible to cover EVERY aspect of EVERY question with each answer without making it a book, right? I feel that's why they prefer the question/answer format because they are able to focus within the limits of the questioner's understanding to give a helpful answer without overwhelming with TMI. :)
Now that you have opened this can of worms I can't wait to see what kinds of questions come to Isaac that elicit responses on this soul-level journey topic. Usually as soon as I ask similar questions about why some aspect of it wasn't covered in an answer, then we get a question that elicits a response that covers THAT topic. Lovely how that works!

excellent explication of how we can master our thoughts and emotions! There is another element, the journey chosen by our soul or oversoul and the experiences which are part of it and we have to subbit them because it is part of our learning experiences, even unpleasant ones. That makes creating co-creating in harmony with our soul.
