here is a poem: The Sun’s Gone All Orange and Purple, So Rise
Getting off on looking up, looking forward to a sunrise so long
overdue
that even the hung over teen and his GHB-goth girlfriend
delight.
Maybe that’s why the sky’s lit up by orange clouds tonight.
One look
and I yelled timber. Magic words like Ala Kazaam skim
across the mask.
Watch out for flying glass in front of Us, and
the shadowbox is ‘bout to burst
‘Cause the ceiling fell in and the
bottom
fell out since a brick flung itself through
the window of
what we perceive.
I went into a spin and I started to shout,
“I’ve been hit! This is it; this is it!” and we took our first gasp for air.
The general calls us to fulfill our destiny’s duty in this oxygen escapade.
We are readied and aimed for that champagne supernova we thought we left
in pop culture’s Pez™ dispenser coffin – but no! the oasis at the end of the road
is no mirage. Maybe the Sandman left some excess and it’s still stuck in the
crevices of your eyes? Rub them to fiber optic life, my friend.
Phoenix, Arizona is igniting your Kundalini serpent, which rises up your spine
like Lazarus steam. Whatever happened to that deferred dream of yesterday?
Has the raisin finally risen to join its California counterparts? I heard through
the grapevine that they de-withered to divine choirs of angelic claymation
singing praises to the name of All Things Holy and fruitful. The truth will set your
deferments free, so tell your eyes to pack the bags under them and use
that Get-Out-of-Jail Free card to discard the monopoly.
