I am, according to my daughter, what could be called a Renaissance Woman. My talents and interests range from  art and music to writing, public speaking, gardening, travel, philosophy and metaphysics. I have worked as a freelance writer since 1991. In addition (and to make ends meet) I have taught piano, worked as a soloist with a jazz band, been a wedding singer, won three photograhy contests, taken a paper route (that didn't last long), sold several paintings, worked as a substitue elementary teacher, served as the House Manager for a small live theater and written Harry Potter Fan Fiction. Most recently, in a desperate attempt to make ends meet, I have taken a day job that I'm not particularly fond of, but in which I have found a purpose....serving as a catalyst of awakening to those stuck in the pointless hamster wheel of government bureaucracy.
