Welcome, glad to have you join us brother. I respect how you follow in the footsteps of Eckhart Tolle, just don't get too caught up in the no pain no gain scheme though my friend (been down that road, it can get hairy when you think more pain yields more progress) :P

Balance is necessary. Releasing negative emotions in karmic release helps one to further enlighten, but remember that is only so relevant in as much as it helps you to becoming more loving of yourself and others, as well as enlightened.
