"Pride attaches undue importance to the superiority of one's status in the eyes of others; and shame is fear of humiliation at one's inferior status in the estimation of others. When one sets his heart on being highly esteemed and achieves such rating, then he is automatically involved in fear of losing his status." Lao-Tze

When we let go of the need to be something other than our true selves, we let go of the need to please others. When we let go of our need to dominate another we learn the subservience of expression. When we no longer label our environment a certain 'way' we are no longer limited by its structure... once we give away our need to control anything, we are no longer obligated to play the game.

Spend each moment in appreciation and you are no longer bound by lack.

be a state of freedom and be a state of grace

be at peace
